That fresh produce stand there, that's a beauty. Speaker 1
What do you listen to? Speaker 2
My favorite murder podcast. Speaker 0
Taggart Endurance podcast. The produce stand. Speaker 3
It's thirsty Thursday, and that means we are once again hanging out at the produce stand, podcast paying tribute to everything in the universe. Speaker 3
know what you're thinking. There are many other Letterkenny podcasts out there, but this one is about to get trivial. I'm Mal, your host. And joining me in the room as always is lovely Tanya. Online, we have squirrely Matt and the very smart Victor. And joining us this week, they're the d the Discord degen know it alls, Oh, everyone's here? Speaker 4
I'm thinking about I'm thinking about when Dylan Playfair was, like, get hearing that intro and just thinking back on how many people, always get tripped up with that intro and how I always wanna talk over it just to be awkward. Speaker 3
Did did you guys miss hearing the OG intro, or, are we all now used to the Shorzy intro? Speaker 4
I like the OG intro. Speaker 5
Yeah. The OG intro. I like them both. And you use them accordingly. Well done, sir. Speaker 3
Yes. Well, I figured Speaker 5
Letterkenny trivia. Letterkenny intro. Speaker 3
Yeah. You're following my lead. There you go. Thank you very much. Now let's so let's get this rig rolling here. How are you now? Tonight's lineup is going to be Matt, Victor, Tanya, myself, and then we'll we'll have a a chat with our guests. So, Matt, how have you been? Speaker 0
I have been swell, guys. Mhmm. Speaker 0
be back. I know I missed the egg hall. I apologize for that. Speaker 0
I had a I had a house full of people and, nowhere to record that night. So, my my oldest and his friends took over the space here that night. So, you Speaker 3
know, I remember a time where you would have joined from your car with the with the cable coming out from from the house. Yeah. I know. Speaker 0
You used to, yeah, Speaker 3
you used to be more dedicated to the Speaker 0
I'm I'm so I'm waiting to get kicked out at some point here. I don't know what the fuck's going on, but it was, it was one of those men, those nights. I just couldn't find the right space or I was tired. I don't know. But I missed it, and I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you guys next time. I promise. Speaker 4
You've changed, but Speaker 3
it used to be cool. Speaker 2
Next time. Make it up this time. What the hell? Speaker 3
I expect you to win a tribute tonight so that I don't have to give any prizes away. Speaker 0
Temper your expectations because that's that's a tall order, my my friend. Speaker 3
In in the preshow, we were laughing at just how little the four of us actually know about Letterkenny compared to our listeners. Listening back to that first episode going, cringing because thinking, like, someone like Tobias or Jeff or Austin listening to us going, these nuts acts don't know shit. Like, why are they Yeah. Why are they Speaker 0
I bet you maybe one of them was that original bad review we got that said, these guys don't know anything about the show. Speaker 0
And we're like, yeah. You're not wrong, but we're figuring it out, guys. Speaker 3
Yeah. And fast forward four years, and we we're still, like, nowhere near what our our trivia masters can Yeah. Know about this show. Speaker 2
I'm waiting for the categories to be about trains and hockey players and Speaker 3
whatever. Yeah. That didn't happen. Sorry, Matt. I'm I'm monopolizing your week. Speaker 5
of a Venn diagram. Yeah. Speaker 0
But we're here, man. Speaker 0
Yeah. Things would be good. Speaker 0
haven't talked to you since I did my, tough mudder there. Speaker 0
Had my my good pep talk there for mister Playfair, which, got me amped up, and it was a lot of fun, man. We had a fantastic time. Speaker 3
You know what I should Speaker 2
I loved your I loved your picture at the end. Speaker 3
I was just saying, I should do a smash cut of Dylan Playfair's speech and then your epic photo right aft at the end. Speaker 0
Yeah. So for those of us who haven't seen the photo, I posted it on, Instagram and, a couple other places. But, it's meek. So that where that photo is taken as I'm coming out of something called Arctic enema, where you basically dump it you jump into this Arctic cold water pool, and it really is cold. And you gotta go underneath a couple of things. So you basically force you to get completely head to toe. And that's me coming out the other side, and I I was I didn't even know the cameras were there, but I I was joking with my friends. I'm like, I can't wait for that one. They're like, why? I'm like, I don't know. I just wanna do it. I'm gonna do a bear roar when I come out. And my buddy was like, what? You're planning this thing? I'm like, what else am I gonna do? So that's me coming out of it all freezing cold. Speaker 0
and then it was turned out to be an amazing photo. Speaker 3
So Perfect. Like, you need to use that as, like, your LinkedIn bio, your everything. Speaker 7
Okay. Here's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking Yeah. Dylan's, like, speech on the back and then your face on the front of a T shirt. Right? Right? Perfect. Speaker 3
I'm foreign after. I like it. Speaker 4
I I when I posted on Facebook, one of Speaker 0
my friends chimed in. He wrote, I'm stealing this for my new catfish photo. Like, this is perfect. So no. It was a lot of fun. We I I the only thing I would say is I wish I could've challenged myself a bit more. One there was a few of us that went together, and one of my buddies and and it's no slight. He was coming off a bit of an injury. Speaker 0
So we did say we started, like, we're all starting together. We're gonna finish together. So he didn't wanna press it too hard. So we we walked a portion of it. Like, it was fifteen k and twenty six obstacles or something like that. So whenever he was sort of feeling a little little much on his leg, he's like, can we just scale back? So we did. I was a little antsy, but I'm like, it's fine. We're here to have a good time, and, we finished it. I definitely learned I still need to work on the upper body. There were some challenges I had. It's okay. I I I did complete it, but there was a couple times when I definitely, went straight into the straight into the pool, missed the, monkey bars, and went down. So that was fun. But, yeah, it was a lot of fun. I'll do it again for sure. I'm now a little inspired and a little pushing to to step up my game. So there's another one called the Spartan Challenge, which is a bit of a step up from Tough Mudder. There's one coming up in a few weeks. I'm not gonna be ready for that one, but I think whatever the next one is, I'm probably gonna train and go after that one. There's a little a little more grueling, and a little less, I wanna take say the fun factor because in tough mudder, you they encourage you to go at your pace and to walk around or or or avoid any obstacles that you aren't comfortable doing. Whereas in, like, Spartan, it's the opposite. It's like they they make the run course a little more challenging. It usually involves a lot of hills. And then the obstacles, if you don't wanna do them or you can't do them, they usually punish you by making you do burpees or run up the hill again or do something stupid. So you have to earn your your finish in that one. So Mhmm. But, but, yeah, it was great. I like to challenge myself on things and had a blast. But aside from that, things are just moving along. It's been a a weird week at work. Some frustrations there, but it's all good. And, now I'm just happy to be here with you fine people. Speaker 3
Very cool. Yeah. Victor, how have you been? Speaker 2
I've been good. Every day is weird at work for me. So, you I I have a shoulder for you to cry on if you want. Just give me a call anytime. Speaker 2
Let's see. How's my week? It's pretty good. Nothing as adventurous as Matt, but, I'm looking forward to tomorrow night. Going to see the the extreme concert. That is, also, we've got some living color to start with. Speaker 3
Oh, are they the opening band? Oh. Speaker 2
Oh, you did? Oh, it was out of circle because it'd be a surprise. Speaker 3
Maybe I forgot. I I Speaker 3
Yeah. I only know one Speaker 0
I thought he said in Living Color. Like, it's settled down. I Speaker 3
only know one of their songs. So yeah. Yeah. I'll be like, alright. Play Cult of Personality and then move on. Speaker 2
No. No. What are you talking about? I've been to their show before. Speaker 8
awesome. Wait a second. I saw them open for the Rolling Stones in eighty nine. They were fantastic. Speaker 3
Oh, no. No doubt. They're really, really good. But like I said, I only know one of their songs. Speaker 2
Yeah. But you can still enjoy the music. Speaker 3
For sure. I will. Speaker 2
You know, every Letterkenny, episode, you're listening to music you've never heard before, before, and then you you become a fan. Yeah. So, you know, just look forward Speaker 3
to it. You'll enjoy. You can listen to them on Speaker 2
a car ride over just to get familiar with it. Oh, okay. Or maybe I'll just listen to, you know, my son and his buddies. Alright. Just don't be one of those losers that shows up after living color. Speaker 3
No. No. We're gonna we're going, up nice and early. You, you you're going up with Linda. Right? Speaker 2
Yeah. Going up with Linda, and we decided just last minute yesterday to, stay overnight. So I, found a room in a, some inn that's, about a ten minute walk away. So we're gonna drive up, go to Speaker 0
the inn. Charged by the hour, did they? No. That's those are red flag. Speaker 2
Those are motels. This actually this place wasn't cheap. It was, like, two fifty for for a night. Speaker 2
But it includes breakfast, and it's ten minute walk from, from Rama. So, you know, like, whatever. Speaker 2
Live you know, you only live once. So, yeah. And and, like, for us, it's, you know, for you, it's a quick drive. For us, it's it's, you know, it's pretty Oh, Speaker 3
it's still an an hour and a bit drive. But, yeah, it's Speaker 2
Who wants to drive two hours at, like, you know, one o'clock in the morning? Speaker 3
Like, I do it all the time. But, anyway, cool. Speaker 9
Okay. Well, I do not. Speaker 2
Hear you and whatever. Anyway, so, looking forward to that. That's gonna be pretty, awesome. Still watching Lost, so nobody say anything. Speaker 0
Where are you? I don't wanna I don't need to hear you. How far into yeah. Where Speaker 2
Am I gonna ruin anything for anybody? Speaker 0
No. No one that cares. Speaker 5
Just the statute's over on that one. Speaker 0
No. Like like, what season are you on? Speaker 3
It's a twenty year Speaker 2
old struggle. I think we're on season four. Mhmm. And Speaker 0
you're still enjoying it? Speaker 2
Yeah. Yeah. It's only getting better. Speaker 3
Right until the last season. Speaker 2
It's only getting better. So I'm on a part where Desmond, makes contact with, Penelope, from the boat. You know? He's doing that weird mind travel, kinda thing. And, so that's and and, and then list, like, one or two episodes after that. So but that's kinda where we are if that helps you. Speaker 2
Cool. Anyway, so so that and I started kind of slamming through, nineteen two. I can't believe I slept on that show when it was Speaker 3
written here. They kept on telling you how awesome it is. It's so, Speaker 2
so intense. So not like any other cop show. It's a whole thing on its own. Speaker 2
Like, I would not ever put it in a category with, you know, what's you know, all those, Speaker 3
Other cop shows. Yeah. Yeah. Blues. I don't know. Speaker 4
Yeah. And I'll admit I'll admit I Speaker 0
I did I slammed the first episode yesterday, and and I was quite surprised too. I'm like, this Speaker 3
Oh, no. Check it out. It's intense. It's fucking intense. Speaker 2
It's it's it's it's so good. Like, I'm in season four, and I just can't believe McMurray. You know? Yeah. He sees a piece of shit in nacho too. Speaker 3
It's true. It's true. Speaker 2
But it's so good. So underrated. So, like, I guess, it's not underrated. Speaker 3
It's weird because for a show like, it it's available on net that show was, like, from ten years ago. So the fact that they're bringing it back for Netflix, I'm want I'm, like, wondering what what precipitated this. You know what I mean? Like Speaker 9
Yeah. It's Is it because of popular Speaker 3
popularity of, Letterkenny and Shorzy, or something else going on Speaker 2
It seems to be random. They just bring these show all shows. Like, they brought Monk back. Like, who asked for Monk? It's it was a good show, but, like, whatever. Speaker 3
Well, it's just a monk movie. I thought the monk movie was fun. Speaker 3
But no. It is really, really good. Yeah. I'm I Speaker 2
So I super recommend it to you guys who are fans of Kiso. Go watch that show. You're gonna really enjoy it because and okay. Again, this is, obviously, Letterkenny is his little baby, and you guys love Shorzy, and you guys love Wayne. The acting that he does on nineteen two is like head and shoulders above. Speaker 0
Well, it's serious. Speaker 3
It's it's serious, and it's not his show. Right? He's just an actor in it. Speaker 2
But it's not a show. However, however, and this Speaker 2
that we need to ask awesome if in in case she's also a Kiso a big Kiso fanatic. Speaker 2
So, obviously, that show, nineteen two, it's a remake of of the French show. Right? Speaker 2
But I feel like that some of the dialogue is so. Some of the sayings oh, there she pops up. Speaker 3
Yeah. You mentioned her name. She pops up. You only said it once. It's not like Beetlejuice where you have to say it three times. Pretty. Of the devil. Oh my god. Give me that spatula. Oh my god. For you. Speaker 3
That is terrible. Speaker 7
Wow. You're gonna be talking Speaker 8
like that. You give me that spatula now. So so what I'm saying is I wonder if he had anything to Speaker 2
any of the writing or if he had any liberties at all with the dialogue because there's just so many things he says are so Kiso like. So, anyway Speaker 3
So that's the interesting thing. About nineteen two, and Victor's wondering how much, if any, kind of creative influence did Kiso have on nineteen two, given that it's a remake of a a French Canadian show. Victor's saying some of the dialogue, though, is very much out of his mouth. And, awesome, you're muted if you're speaking. So I don't know if, maybe she can't say anything right now. But, anyway, it it's a great show. It's very intense. It'll give people trauma. Oh, she says none. Although, he did ad lib okay. He he ad libbed a bunch of stuff. Michelle says Speaker 2
ad libs might be the thing. Right? That that might be what was Speaker 3
Oh, and and Michelle, who used to be in forensics well, she's still in forensics, but, I mean, used to work with the police, says that it's one of the most realistic, police shows she's ever seen in her experience. So Speaker 2
yeah. I couldn't recommend it more to anybody. Yeah. No. It's it's Even non Kiso fans. Speaker 3
If there are some episodes, though, that'll be tough to watch. Speaker 2
Yeah. Yeah. Well, whatever. Just, you know, pull up your pants and watch the show. Speaker 0
What before we move on, just keep on traumatizing. Speaker 0
we're on the TV show topic while we're on the TV show topic, I just there was one thing I do wanna mention. I started watching, and I'm kinda digging it. A new show, I think it's on Netflix, is chaos. Speaker 0
don't watch this yet. Jeff Goldblum Oh, Speaker 0
Plays too Yeah. Right? Like So It's like modern world, but, like, the gods of Olympus and all that are real, and the world worships them. Oh, I see. Scientology is all real, but it's in modern day. And Jeff Goldblum is Zeus, and there's, like, this prophecy that they're taking him down. And he's, like, living in a mansion. He's, like, living Okay. Speaker 4
That's it. Though. Speaker 0
That's but that's that that gets revealed at the first ten minutes Speaker 4
of it. No. I know. Speaker 2
Does Jesus exist in your show? Speaker 0
No. I'm not saying anything else, but it's Alright. It's really cool, really well. Speaker 3
Sounds a lot like Lucifer, which we love. Tanya and I Speaker 0
love Lucifer. Yeah. Yeah. So recommend it. It it's pretty badass. Called again? Chaos. K a o s. Speaker 2
I'll give it a chance. Speaker 4
This is better than Lucifer. Is it? Because it's rooted yeah. Because it's rooted in the mythology. Speaker 4
Yeah. And it's it's mind bending. Speaker 3
Yeah. But Lucifer is rooted mythology too. Mike, don't cover your ears. Speaker 0
And and and Goldblum and Goldblum just slays as Zeus. I love him. I love him so much. Speaker 10
Is amazing. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 8
I tried chaos. I couldn't get into it. Speaker 3
Right. Okay. Well, there you go. Oh, really? Speaker 0
So there's Anyways, it's something I've been checking out. Speaker 3
There's an audience for every show. Did Mike, did did you enjoy Lucifer? Speaker 8
Never saw Lucifer. Speaker 3
Oh, well, you should give that a go. You you might get some some stuff to show in your in your religion class. I know that you're a history teacher, but Speaker 8
I don't teach religion. Speaker 8
to go to confession Speaker 4
for, like, six weeks in a row. Speaker 3
Mhmm. Was that Casey? Speaker 4
He'll have to go to confession after watching it too much. So Speaker 3
It's not that bad. Speaker 3
You know what's hilarious? I just listened to, Tom Ellis, who played Lucifer on Lucifer getting interviewed on the Michael Rosenbaum show. Speaker 3
His Tom Ellis's family, they're all Baptist ministers. Even his sister, like, they're all hardcore religious people. Oh, wow. And so how do how do you rebel against that? You play the devil on a TV show. Speaker 7
Are they still family? Probably why Speaker 4
so good. Yeah. That's Speaker 3
why he's so good. Yeah. No. They get along great. But, and yeah. When the when the dad, I guess, asked him, are you gonna follow along our footsteps, son? He's like, nah. I'm good. Speaker 7
I'm gonna play the opposite. Speaker 0
Hard nope. Yeah. Exactly. Speaker 7
And now What a story. Yeah. Speaker 3
It's it's pretty funny. Speaker 3
How have you been? Speaker 7
I've been busy. It's been a it's been a week. It's been the longest week, actually. So it start so Saturday was wonderful. I had girl day, and, my friend and I went and, spent the entire day just hanging out and having fun. And it was a beautiful day. Like, we were Speaker 3
supposed to be punishment get it Speaker 3
That's not nice. Speaker 9
One day for yourself. Speaker 3
I did. I took one day Speaker 7
for myself. And I Speaker 3
there was, conflicts that were entering trying Speaker 7
and and wedge into my day, and I was like, nope. This is my day. I have worked really hard all week. I was looking forward to this one day. I will take it. And then, yeah, everything just kinda went downhill from there. So, Sunday night, our daughter started getting sick. And by Monday morning, I was at the hospital for five hours with her, because she wasn't breathing very well. And, Speaker 3
her Blood oxygen level was what? Like Speaker 7
Blood oxygen dropped down to ninety percent, and anything under ninety five is alarming. And, her heart rate, just at rest was one forty seven. So she was going like a yeah. It it was it was a really, really scary moment. And, luckily, all is well, so I should have started with that. Everything's good. But, yeah, there was a there was a moment there where it was, it was very alarming and, just needed to to take care of of what we needed to take care of. So, yeah. So that was it. Going to the hospital is never ever ever fun, and, it just seems to be, like, I I felt like one of those old people going, you know, back in my day, I don't remember the hospital being like this. Like It Speaker 1
wasn't. It's like Speaker 3
the the our local hospital is overrun. It is way too busy. Speaker 7
Like, the whole the whole time, I was having flashbacks to when I was a kid, and having bad asthma attacks and having to go to the hospital. And and I just I don't remember it ever being the way it is now. And there's just so it's it's it's just so I you've just never seen so many people. Anyways, I could go on and on, but, yeah, it was it was a is a real eye opener for how things are right now. And, you know, my heart goes out to doctors and nurses. It's a it's a it's a a miracle that you're doing what you're doing under the conditions that you're doing it in. We just need to to figure out something better because it's just it's not it's not great over there. So, so, yeah, that, that was the challenge this week. I didn't really have anything else going on. I just I was really drained after that, and, I took a day off. I took a couple days off actually and, and just, hung out with, with, our daughter and made sure that she was good and and, back to laughing. And, oh, she, introduced me to anime. So that's entered my life. I'm watching. I love Trace just kinda eye rolled there. I It's Speaker 5
you just say introduced anime. Like, there's a Speaker 9
whole lot of it out there. So Speaker 3
And we've managed to avoid it for the most part. Speaker 7
For the most part. And, like, even, one piece came out with a live action, so I kinda sidestepped the whole four hundred episodes of, one piece and was able to just watch the the live action stuff, and get away with it. But Over Speaker 2
one thousand episodes. Speaker 7
Oh, man. There's thousand. I don't even know how that hell, how do you even do that? Anyways, so, yeah, we've been curled up in bed and watching anime and, yeah, enjoying enjoying our time, and, and now I'm hooked on that. So that will be what this weekend will become. Anime weekend long. Speaker 3
Yep. That's fine. We'll be at the extreme concert. Speaker 5
You have fun with that. Speaker 3
So, yeah, my week I mean, my last couple weeks, I guess. It's been busy, working on season seven of Yes We Are Open. That starts next week. So, looking forward to that. So for the next two months, I'm gonna be heads down, working my butt off and and working lots of overtime and stuff. Can't wait for that. Gonna be at Elevate Festival, which is like a tech festival next Wednesday in Toronto. That'll be fun too. You're gonna you're going? Nice. Speaker 0
I'm going as well. Speaker 3
I'll see you. So we'll take a selfie in front of Tegan and Sarah, which Speaker 2
Just just a reminder, you don't get paid for overtime, so you don't need to say it that way. Speaker 3
Well, what so I'm I'm working extra hours to get my shit done. Speaker 3
go. Yeah. Tegan and Sarah are gonna be there, but they're not performing. They're speakers, which why the hell do you get pop stars at a festival if they're not gonna perform? Anyway, do yeah. Doing that. Still watching doing my rewatch of Smallville and enjoying, like I'm Oh, Speaker 7
that's been fun. Speaker 3
I'm like you guys. Like, you know, you're watching Letterkenny and listening to us talk about it. Now I'm doing the same thing, but listening to Lex and Clark talk about it, which, you know, I gotta say, they they know a little bit more about this shit than we knew about Letterkenny. But, it it's fun. And and the the the interesting part of of listening to them is even though they were on the show, they never actually watched the show. So they're kinda watching it for the first time too and critique critiquing themselves twenty years later. Speaker 3
And and, like, Tom Welling, the the guy who played Clark, he's like, yeah. It was pretty good in that scene. Like, they're they're but they're also they're they shit on the episodes that deserve to be shit on too. So it's a it's a really interesting listen. So if you're if you enjoyed Smallville when when it first came out, you know, it was it was a good show. It was kind of a groundbreaking show at the time. Right? They were doing, like, special effects stuff that wasn't on TV at the time. They were they were breaking a lot of ground. So, and if you haven't watched it, I highly recommend if you're gonna rewatch it to to watch it with the podcast. Talkville is the name of their podcast because they're they're they're pretty entertaining. It would be like if, Nathan Dales and Jared Key sort of decided to, you know, twenty years later, do a Letterkenny rewatch and talk about it. Speaker 7
And if you wanna do that, guys Speaker 3
Yeah. Let us know. Speaker 7
Know who to call. Speaker 3
Ring a ding a ding. Well, we can talk. Speaker 7
Help you out with that. Speaker 9
To to tie it in with the letter, Kenny, I believe you got a couple of Jared Keystow episodes of Smallville where he pops up on an episode or two, doesn't he? Speaker 3
I I don't remember if he does, but Evangeline Evangeline Lilly pops up as an extra on many episodes of Smallville. Vicky would know her from Lost. She, I forgot her her character name on Lost. Katie. Katie? Yeah. Yeah. And also a lot lot of Speaker 0
the rings are Hobbit or Lord of the Rings or both? Speaker 3
Yeah. But on on Smallville, she just played a bunch of, like yeah. In Smallville, she just played a bunch of unnamed parts, you know, background high school girl or whatever. Speaker 9
I think Kiso's got, like, three episodes where he's got speaking lines in some Speaker 3
of them. Love that. Yep. I haven't gone to those yet. I haven't gone to those directly. Speaker 7
Oh my gosh. I can't wait for you to if you didn't know that, you would have been like, Speaker 3
Oh, I'll I'll be pausing going, look look who it is. Anyway, so that's it. Alright, guys. Last week or was last week or two weeks ago, Oh, actually, I saw I've got this thing on my thing on my soundboard. Speaker 0
Previously on Letterkenny. Speaker 3
Last week or two weeks ago, whenever it was, we did our Ag Haul social. I had a great time. And, I was gonna do trivia, which is what we usually do during Ag Hauls, but we had so so much fun talking about what we wanna see on like, what what everyone thought about Shorsey three and what we wanted to see in Shorsey four, that we ran out of time and couldn't get to the trivia. So we're doing it this week, and why not? We need to vamp. We need content for shows. So that's what we're that's what we're gonna do today. We're going to do It's Speaker 3
Our trivia. Now this is, you know, regular trivia. We're gonna, talk about letter Letterkenny season eleven. And then, hopefully, in a couple of weeks, we're going to do our, tournament of champions because we have five, quote, unquote, Letterkenny trivia masters. Couple of them have joined us here today. And, Austin, just earlier today was complaining that she can't, take part in trivia today because she's been disqualified, but so has Jeff. And, is anyone oh, yes. Yeah. Jeff. And then there's, Tobias and Joey, and I'm missing somebody. Speaker 9
Jay. You're a lone Canadian. Speaker 3
Yeah. I'm a lone Canadian Letterk Letterkenny trivia master. Speaker 0
Thanks for pointing that out. Speaker 3
They're gonna go head to head. Hopefully, we're gonna make that happen in a couple of weeks. I've asked everyone else on the Discord for their help because I need to come up with enough questions that even they'll have a hard time with. So, Don't Speaker 2
you use your AI for that now? Speaker 3
I could, but I don't think I don't think it would, I don't know. Maybe. I could. It would hit the difficulty level you needed. Speaker 5
Yeah. So, anyway was Wayne's sister's name. Speaker 3
Exactly. But, anyway, tonight, we're going to, do that. So let me just quickly around the horn, say hi to our contestants. We're gonna start with the that, soothing voice you heard, like, a few seconds ago. Trace, how's it going, bud? Speaker 5
Good. How are you, sir? Speaker 3
I'm well. And, what have you been up to? Speaker 5
I have been up to absolutely nothing but coming up this Saturday. I've mentioned it on the, Discord, but I will be running in the, it's not the marathon. Mhmm. No. Is the St. Jude, fun run. It's a fundraising thing they do. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital being the crown jewel of my city Speaker 5
Is, they are they fundamentally do fundraising all the time. They have their own sort of corporation that does nothing but fundraise for Saint Jude. Yeah. And, a lot of the guys on the Discord, contributed, and I thank you all very much. But I'm going to run, if the thing is to be believed, three miles, which is about enough for me. Mhmm. And Speaker 3
I can do it. So Just do it. Speaker 5
It's a really I mean, it they it's it's run slash walk. Speaker 5
They know they don't wanna preclude anybody from participating. But, yeah, it's it's, of course, great money to a great cause. St. Jude is you know, their mission for over fifty years now is, you know, research into saving, catastrophic childhood illnesses. They charge nothing to anyone who, goes there. Any and all research they have ever made or will make is given free of charge to the medical community and never patented. Wow. And Speaker 5
It's it's a it's a it's a good thing. And Mhmm. If I can I I dump on my hometown a lot, but that is the one thing that everyone in this place is super proud about at Saint Jude? And that's what I'll be doing on Saturday. Amazing. Speaker 3
Yeah. And I was super proud of our Discord community because when you put up the link, I think you hit, your your target pretty quickly. So that that was, really cool to see. Yeah. I got I got a Speaker 5
I got a email from Saint Jude said, congratulations. You've reached the gold level of what? What is that? It turns out I get a, insulated cup Nice. With Saint Jude on it now. So there you go. Speaker 3
Hey, yo. You're welcome. Yeah. Speaker 5
And a great addition to my T shirt. Speaker 3
When a friend asked for help, everyone helped. Speaker 5
Yes. Y'all did. Thank you so very much. Speaker 3
See, we walked the talk. Jeff, but you're you're, disqualified from trivia tonight. But I'm glad you're on today, because you just got back from another trip to Canada. What were you doing up here this time? Speaker 9
I did. Yeah. So a good buddy, Jared and myself, went to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to see mister k Trevor Wilson and friends perform. Nice. And then we made a we made a weekend out of it. Jarrah's wife wanted to get him out of the house. So, you know, always always more than happy to oblige, but, we did one of those, one of the things that that that Canada is is great for is, you have all these little towns and cities that like to make, you know, the world's biggest this or the world's large Speaker 3
The roadside attractions. Right? Yeah. The roadside attractions that Speaker 9
just sucker in the tourists and, Speaker 9
We were like flies to fly paper. Speaker 3
Isn't that an American thing too, though? I feel like that, like, the world's largest ball of twine and stuff. Isn't that, like, a lot? Yeah. I don't know. Speaker 0
So when you went in, did you see the did you see the ax? Speaker 0
You've seen the ax? Yeah. And then did you see the lobster? Speaker 0
And and, Shediac? Speaker 9
I've yeah. Hit them both up. Yeah. No. Speaker 3
The they they do that Speaker 9
in the states too, but I don't feel like I don't feel it's like a stereotype in the states. Whereas in Canada, you know, it's like, you know, like like, Corner Gas made a whole episode about it devoted to it. You know? Speaker 3
Well, in many towns, that's all they got. You know? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 2
So Oh, they had the biggest hoe, I think, on Woah. That was On the Hun Corner Gas. Speaker 3
Okay. Yeah. Because they Speaker 9
they they want to make a big dirty hoe. Speaker 3
Oh, okay. Alright. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 9
No. But, we we went to Hartland, New Brunswick. Speaker 3
Thing to say about your mom there. Anyway, okay. We went to Speaker 9
the Heartland, New Brunswick. That was our first stop, the world's longest covered bridge. And then, next was Nackowick with the world's largest axe. And I've got, two two friends there that I graduated high school with actually, have a house in Nackowick that they're actually selling. If anybody's looking to buy, hit them up. But, anyway, stopped at the Anne Murray Museum in Speaker 3
Oh my god. I can't believe you've been by that. Speaker 9
Along the way, when we were headed to, to to Nova Scotia. Had our first, Mary Brown's Chicken, which is an amazing chicken chain, based out of Newfoundland, but, actually discovered Is Speaker 0
it a Canadian chain? Speaker 3
I didn't know that. Yeah. I was I'm surprised about that too. Speaker 9
Yeah. It's a Canadian chain. It was founded by two Americans, though. Speaker 3
Oh, okay. Oh, fuck. Speaker 9
It was the story that I I heard, and this is from the person at Mary Brown's Chicken, was they, there was a lady in Newfoundland that married that had a chicken store, chicken restaurant, and these two gentlemen, she was gonna she was closing it. She was retiring or something. These two gentlemen brought it bought it from her. Mhmm. All of her recipes and everything, and they named it Mary Brown's chicken. There is no real Mary Brown. But it did. It all started in Newfoundland in Saint John's. The story is right on the wall in the the the restaurant. But, anyway Speaker 3
I figured if Saint John's was gonna start a franchise, it'd be, like, fried bologna or something, not chicken. That's Speaker 9
Yeah. Fish or something. Speaker 9
Anyway, it's very good chicken. Speaker 9
But, yeah, got to, Halifax, and, we had dinner the first night. This amazing place right in downtown called Dessert Yard. Mhmm. Dessert Yard. I mean Wow. Dessert right in the name. Mhmm. It's gorgeous. I took some pictures. If anybody wants to see pictures, just find my Instagram. It's at RPW hardware. I posted everything on there. But, yeah, got to see some Trailer Park Boys filming locations. I'm not a big Trailer Park Boys fan, but Jara is. So, found a bunch of cool cool places there. Visited Cow Bay, which was gorgeous. And then we went down to, Peggy's Cove for the first time and breathtaking, guys. It's just amazing. It's very sweet. Speaker 3
Yeah. But how was the show, though? I mean, you went there for the show. Speaker 9
Was great. Yeah. We saw so there were he had three comedians with them, and I forget their names. One of them, we actually saw, on one of Mark Forward's shows Mhmm. Last year, in in Toronto. But, yeah, I mean, Kaitrev, to be honest, like, I'd heard I think he'd done the same set. I'd heard the same set, last year when I saw him in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick. But, no. It was still good. It was fun. We got the meet and greet, you know, got to to Speaker 3
But then you got a a bonus meet and greet at Speaker 9
a at a Tim Hortons. That was so freaking random because we went, Jarrah and I, when we we got up the next morning, breakfast at Cora, breakfast and lunch, which we freaking love that place. Speaker 9
If they're all three all three mornings, three different Cora restaurants. But, anyway, got on the road. We're heading to PEI and got okay. So PEI is, what, like, two hundred miles Mhmm. Yes. Speaker 3
Or something like that Yeah. It's not close. Speaker 3
You gotta cross the world's longest ocean bridge to get to it. Speaker 9
We're we're heading there Yeah. And we just pull off at this random we're like, oh, gotta you know, whenever we we need to use the facilities, we usually pull look for the closest Tim Hortons. Speaker 9
And we pull off this random Tim Hortons, like, you know, two hundred miles outside of Halifax, and, you know, pop in, went and did my business in the bathroom, and I I was standing in line waiting to get a coffee, and k Trevor Wilson walks in behind me. Like, the whole the whole crew from the night before walked in behind me. And I'm wearing I was wearing my TPS hat. Yep. Good, man. He recognized me from the night before. Speaker 3
Hey. Just saying that. Speaker 9
Like, hey. You know, what's going on? And we sat there and chatted for a little bit. Jarrow was in the bathroom, and he came out and saw him talking to K Trev. And he started laughing, and K Trev was like you know, gave him a handshake and a fist bump and everything. And, then those two started bonding. One of the things K Trev talks about in his sets is, his his, like, diabetes issues and stuff like that. So Jer is prediabetic, and he and K Trev bonded over their their diabetes stories. And they both have fatty livers, so they bonded over fatty livers. It was just the most ridiculous conversation in the world. I mean, it's important. Amazing. But, anyway, no. It was great. Speaker 0
Were were they on their way to pee? I had to do a show this year. Speaker 9
Yeah. They were headed just to, Summerside. Speaker 9
But, I mean, seriously, like, out of all the Tim Hortons, like, random one, like I said, it's, like, two hundred miles out of Halifax, and we just happen to stop there at the same time as they as they do. It's so weird. Speaker 3
Well, look. You did right because if you had stopped at a Starbucks, there's no way in hell you would have seen ran into great Trevor there. So I'm Speaker 9
gonna pass on on the Speaker 0
Starbucks. Yeah. Speaker 9
But no. I got to PEI. That was great. Very nice. A very beautiful area. The food over there is all the Canadian food is amazing, but PEI, like, everything you eat is Seafood. Seems to be homegrown. Yeah. Speaker 0
A lot of potatoes. Speaker 3
Yeah. A lot of potatoes. Speaker 9
Yep. But, yeah. And then night spent the night in Moncton and, some more Canadian food and saw went stopped in Shediac on the way from between PEI and Moncton and, world's largest lobster. Yep. Yep. Fun. Yeah. And then we're looking forward. We're gonna end up doing that again with, good buddy Marcus in November. All three of us are headed up for, Brent Butt from Corner Gas. He's doing his stand up at the casino there in in Nova Scotia in, in Halifax, and I can't wait for it. You know? Yeah. That'll be fine. We'll see how we'll see how chilly it is towards the end of November. Marcus wants to get down to Peggy's Cove, and I'm like, dude. Alright. Let's see what the weather's like. But, yeah, it was great. Anybody, if you ever get the chance to go to Nova Scotia, highly recommended. Highly recommended. Speaker 3
Yes. Hardly agree. Alright. Moving on. Dodging hurricanes down in Florida. We have our buddy, Zach. Zach, how are you doing? Are you staying, safe? Speaker 6
Yeah. It's, it's just been silly touch and go things. We're we're just getting tiny little, outer bands kind of stuff. Mhmm. There was a tornado, like, I guess quite a while ago. I went outside, and it was just, like, pitch black for a second. Really crazy winds and all that. Walked back in, and, you know, it it got pretty shaky. Mhmm. And then it, all of a sudden got bright and sunny. You know, like, literally right out of, the Twister movie kind of Speaker 6
Stuff. But you could still see it going down, like, the way. Mhmm. It wasn't done yet. It was just moving. Speaker 3
And now you're just getting hit. What what what's what's the name of this one? Speaker 3
Helene. You're just getting hit with Helene. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we're we're glad you're safe. Yeah. Casey said it, and for sure, you're safe. And all of our listeners down in Florida, keep your head down or keep stay inside for for the for the sake of peace. Stay inside. Zach's like, oh, there's a turn. I'm gonna go on my front porch and look at it. Speaker 5
It's what we do, man. Speaker 3
We're in the cell. Speaker 6
I I was curious as usual. Sure. Speaker 3
Well, we're glad on the discord when he Speaker 5
said there was a tornado, and I said, are you on the porch? He goes, yeah. Speaker 3
Yeah. Well, we're glad you're safe and dry, and, hopefully, your Internet holds out, and you can, participate in the trivia with us. Absolutely. Sound good. And up in Sudbury, our friend Michelle. Michelle, you blew my mind when you said that Roots, one of the most Canadian brands ever, was, what, founded by Speaker 10
by two Americans. Really? Yeah. That's There's a story, and it's a nice one, I think. But yeah. Speaker 4
That really had a disappointment. Speaker 10
They love Canada. So they Yeah. That's in Canada. Al, you better watch your tone, bud. Speaker 3
No. But you don't understand Roots. Roots is like Speaker 3
Do you know do you know roots? Do you you know the brand roots? Speaker 4
No. But I know what it's like to be sad, placated by a room full of Canadians. Speaker 3
It'd be it'd be I know I did. I was there. It'd be like me learning No. You were late. It'd be like you learning that Levi's was, like, started by, you know, a a Canadian company or something. Speaker 4
I'd be happy about it. I'd be relieved. Speaker 3
Alright. Michelle, how have you been? Speaker 10
Just great. Thank you. Speaker 3
Yeah? Very good news. Yeah. School's on and stuff. You're you're, Speaker 10
Yep. Very busy. Very busy at school. Lots of work. Great students. Pretty fun. And, yeah. Speaker 3
Alright. Alright. Speaker 10
I'm really excited about the news about the additional Shorzy classics. Speaker 3
Right. Yeah. You know what? I should've looked at that. Speaker 10
Them is in the Little Caesar's arena in Detroit, and I was a Pueblo Little Caesar. Speaker 10
In Colorado. In Pueblo, Colorado playing for, a women's hockey Speaker 10
Team. We were the Pueblo Little Caesars, and we have the jerseys. If I get to go to the Detroit show, I'm gonna wear my own jersey to that. So I'm very excited about that. Speaker 3
Well, coincidence. I used to co manage Little Caesars for for many years. That's cool. We're like Speaker 10
He's not sure how to see. Speaker 3
That's that's awesome. Speaker 10
Dave Seamster who played for the, Red Wings, runs the Little Caesars franchises in Pueblo, and he sponsored our team. Our nascent women's team full of absolute amateurs, and he he took a chance on us and sponsored us. And we've they're butt ugly jerseys, but they're great. Like, they're professional quality, and it's really nice. But they're baby blue and orange. So Speaker 3
Baby blue and orange. Well, that's Yeah. Weird. Speaker 5
Little Caesar's colors. Right? Speaker 3
Alright. Is baby blue in the color? I can't remember. I I know that orange is, but okay. Speaker 5
Pizza pizza. Yeah. Speaker 10
Yeah. Hockey hockey. Speaker 3
Hockey hockey. That's why Speaker 2
you don't go very far in that management. Speaker 3
No. No. I ran from that place because they wanted to give me a store when I was eighteen. And I looked at my district manager who's, like, this almost forty year old, and and I'm like I saw my future. I'm like, no. I think I'm going back to school, but thank you. No. It was, not that there's anything wrong with it. My years at Little Caesars were a lot of fun, but, I wouldn't be doing this if I had stayed working for Little Caesars. Casey, how have you been? KCP. Speaker 2
You you still need to work on your mic, Casey. It's very hot. Speaker 3
Oh, yeah. Yours is very hot. Speaker 3
Yeah. How have you been? Speaker 4
Well, I'm good. Yeah? Yeah. My daughter's joining me right now. She decided to come hang out with us. Speaker 3
She's She's gonna help you with the trivia tonight? Speaker 4
Yes. Even though she never saw a little looking for us, so we're gonna try this. Speaker 3
Alright. I saw that, you posted everyone's posting pictures of all dressed chips. I guess they're finally making their way down to to the States, and, all of our listeners are posting pictures of them. Speaker 4
Yeah. The ripples, I guess, it got came up a little bit distant Speaker 3
And what do you what do you think? Speaker 4
Well, it's good. We've tried the Fringles ones. So my daughter likes them too. Speaker 3
Alright. Well, good. Well, thanks for joining us, and, looking forward to having you on trivia. Mike. Yes. You. Speaker 8
Hey, guys. How's it going? Speaker 3
Good. How are you? Speaker 8
I'm alright. Super busy. Yeah. With student council and school starting, the first month is is a tsunami of events, and then it peters out, which I will be happy for in October. Mhmm. But yeah. Things are good. Kids are busy. We got baseball started back up for Jimmy and some other stuff. And, I got I feel like you haven't been around because of all these events and stuff. I did have I you guys probably saw mister Trollinger visited New Jersey Yeah. Which was you know, if you guys get a chance, those of you that haven't met Justin, ten out of ten. Hundred percent recommend sitting down with him. Just fascinating. Speaker 3
I got Both you and Victor have met. Oh, and Victor's giving you the unicorn he heart agrees. Speaker 2
Well, no. That this this one is the one that I got from him. Speaker 3
That's a super soft gift. Yeah. Speaker 8
All I got was a nice dinner, a couple drinks, and, you know, we went down to the beach and sat in the boardwalk, had some chat. It was good. It was a good time. Speaker 3
Yeah. Did you walk along the shoreline holding hands? Speaker 8
Sat there. I just wanted to show them show them the sights, you know, the typical things. Nice. But, yeah, it was great. But other than that, you know, school is what it is, and kids are in all kinds of different activities. So that's all your time. And, you know, You guys know how it is with kids. Speaker 3
Oh, we know. Yep. Speaker 8
They they take precedent. You know? If that means I can't go to the to the ag hall and or if, you know, work gets in the way, I'll be around. Don't worry about me. Speaker 3
Yeah. Well, we're glad you joined us. Thank you for for coming out tonight. Casey, you turned your camera off. Can you speak, or are you, Speaker 4
I can. Is this better? Speaker 3
Oh, much better. Good. Mhmm. Speaker 4
Yeah. I'm good. Work's crazy busy. This has been a crazy week, and I'm glad to know that we're not alone, that it's reaching up into Canada. Yeah. Glad to know that your daughter is safe and healthy. Mhmm. I'm glad to be here. I have nothing exciting going on. Work is beating me down. The kids have after school stuff. Yeah. That's fine. I'm just trying to, like, carve out time for me. So this is Speaker 3
Remember when when all we had to talk about was all this shit going on with the pandemic? At least life's back to normal. Right? It's busy, But back in those days, we were kinda wishing to be busy again. Were we not? I don't know. I feel like Speaker 4
pendulum, isn't it? Speaker 3
Yeah. Maybe it is. Speaker 4
It's a pendulum. Yeah. And we're always reaching for the middle. Yeah. And right now, the pendulum's a little Speaker 4
to the right. A little too far to the right for me. Okay. But it'll come back. Speaker 3
That that that that phrase has many meanings, I think. Awesome. Can you speak? Maybe not. Last we checked, awesome was indisposed. And Aaron joined us. Darren, can you speak, or are you, Speaker 1
Hold on. Okay. Can you Speaker 4
Yeah. Hold on. Well, I Speaker 1
I'm I'm in I'm in the car. Hi, beautiful people. Speaker 3
It's been a while. Speaker 1
It's been way too long. Mhmm. I just small share. I'm driving home from my freshman daughter's swim meet where she swam at my home pool Speaker 1
Swimming the same events that I swam. I may have cried a couple of times, but it's just like like cloud nine right now. So it's so I'm so happy that I can be a part of all of this. So hi, everybody. Can't see you. But Speaker 3
Yeah. Well Hi. Yeah. Thanks for joining us, and and it's great to hear your voice. Haven't heard or seen you in a bit. School's on, I guess. You've been busy. Speaker 1
It's oh, y'all okay. This year this this year is, challenging. Super challenging. I've got a a couple of friends that just need a lot of extra love, and I'm giving them all the love I have. But I just run out of energy right around eight PM, and I crash. Speaker 1
And everybody, I really do. I I I'm around. I see I, like, put little hearts on things randomly, and I'm I'm here. I'm just not Speaker 1
The fact that I'm I'm awake right now is is is good. Speaker 2
Well, we've reached actually since you're driving. Yeah. Speaker 1
Yeah. Don't forget things. Please keep me awake. Speaker 7
Don't forget to give a little love to yourself too. Speaker 1
Yes. I I am I am doing that. Speaker 1
you so much, Tanya, for that beautiful reminder. Speaker 3
Alright. I think it's time then to get started with this. So let's Well, don't bore us. Get to the chorus. Let's get going, folks. If you have your second device, have it, you know, have it handy because we're going to start the Kahoot. I'm going to share my screen. One second here. Screen shared and my sound. Speaker 1

You hid the answers. You were on two screens there, Al? Speaker 3
Oh, am I? Oh, I can't do that. Hold on. Let me try that again. Let me try resharing. Speaker 0
This is going well. Speaker 1
You've got this, Al. Speaker 3
I got it. Alright. You'd think I'd be better at this Speaker 0
by now. Alright. One one. Speaker 3
So Eight one one seven Speaker 5

it was me, but that's not what I chose. Speaker 4
I thought you should keep it. Eight one one seven five nine. Speaker 3
Alright. So we have one, two, three, four, five. Now Tanya look Tanya's avatar looks like oh, it looked like, Albert Einstein was a a unicorn or something. Yeah. Speaker 3

Chad, where is Chad? Speaker 0
Yeah. Where's Chad? Chad. Speaker 2
Oh. She heard Matt's gonna be on tonight. Speaker 3
Casey had to reset her computer. So let's give her a minute, to to try to join. Speaker 4
Sixty seconds. This is good sixty second music too. Speaker 4
Yeah. I feel like Speaker 1
it's hot. It it's it's coming out great through those speakers. Speaker 6
Is it? This is this is elevator music. Yeah. Speaker 2
like it's a pretty Speaker 4
fucked up elevator, Zach. Speaker 3
This feel feels more like, like, Donkey Kong, you Speaker 2
It's like a side side, scrolling game. Speaker 0
Having spent a considerable amount of time in an elevator and does not say I've heard this song before. Speaker 3
You would know, sir. Or a cloud screen. Speaker 0
That's four In all in all fairness, the power was out, so, you know, music wasn't really an option. Speaker 3
Matt, did you know that, the next week when I went into the office, I almost got caught in the elevator? Speaker 0
I did not know that. Speaker 3
Yeah. The power went I I got on the elevator. This is at work at the office. And as soon as I stepped in, the everything went black. The power went out again. And I'm like, oh my god. I'm and I was on the fifteenth floor. I'm like, I just pulled a mat. But the guy who was with me, Milne, he was able to pry the doors open, and we were able to get off. Speaker 2
It sounds like you walked into season two of Severance. Right? Speaker 3
Speaking of which, I can't get that. Oh, man. Soon, I hope. Speaker 3
Yeah. Alright. Do we know when Severance is coming out? It wasn't a rhetorical question. I wanna know. Speaker 1
Isn't it January next year or something? Speaker 3
Oh, it's not really? Speaker 1
It don't quote me. I'm driving. Speaker 0
Is everyone in who's playing? Speaker 3
We're waiting on Casey who had to re reboot. So, just waiting on Casey p. Oh, okay. I'm admitting her into the Zoom, and then hopefully, she'll join the Kahoot soon. Give it to me, Meb. Is that you, Casey? Give it to me, baby. To me, baby. Oh, I see. I'm Speaker 4

That better not be you, Jeff. Speaker 6
Identify yourself. Okay. Speaker 3
That better not be you, awesome. Speaker 2
Before we wrote that, just remember that b b is the nickname or the name what people call net Netanyahu. Speaker 4
Do we have a hacker? Is that you, Debbie? Speaker 3
It's a the avatar is a camel with a graduation hat. Oh, and now it's a camel with with sunglasses. Who's messing with us? Is that you, Erin? Speaker 4
I I wish it was. Speaker 3
Michelle, is that you? Shorzy Betta? Speaker 1
No. Hands on me. Speaker 1
It has to be Alright. Speaker 3
We have nine play oh, eight back to down to eight players. Nothing like a well, you know, organized game, and this is nothing like a well organized game. Alright. Whatever Speaker 4
that compelling content. Speaker 3
I know. Right? Anyway, can I get started? Speaker 0
Let's get on the go, boys. Speaker 3
I'm just waiting for for a thumbs up from Casey when when you're ready. Speaker 3
Alright. Let's get started then. Speaker 4
On this one? Yeah. In this one. Speaker 3
Letterkenny season eleven trivia. Here we go. What is the title of episode one season eleven? Go. This is a race. Speaker 4
We just lost this one. Speaker 3
You're a pokey. Alright. Six of you knew it was Chips, not Speaker 3
And not lost dog. Okay. How are we doing so far? Fuck you. Chad is in the lead. Matt, enjoy yourself at the top there. Speaker 0
That's right, people. Pack it in. Speaker 3
Oh. Hope Mike is in second. Shorzy, beta. Orbeta is in third. Your mom is in fourth, and miss Casey's in fifth. Miss Casey's oh, it's a Speaker 8
That was my episode, so I better at least get that one right. Speaker 3
A unicorn with a stack of pancakes as a hat. Very nice. Here we Speaker 0
go. Question two. Fall apart. Speaker 3
According to this contest rules, which flavor chip shall be excluded from the best chip flavor contest? Is it all dressed, ketchup, salt and vinegar, or sour cream and onion? Correct answer is all dressed. Too many ingredients, so it got disqualified. Six of you got it right. Does that change oh, Chad. Fuck you, Chad, is now in fourth. Speaker 0
It all falls apart Speaker 1
Keep doing that. Speaker 3
Pope Mike moves into first. Shorzy, beta, second, your mom, third, and Zach, the hack or Zach. Speaker 0
Even the gays mocking me. It's like, no one said it was gonna be easy. Yeah. It's what it says on my screen right now. Speaker 3
Alright. Next question. Speaker 1
Parts are weird. Speaker 3
According to Glenn, the reason he knows so much about gay porn is because he's looking for his fitspo, he's researching the work of Satan, he's gay, or he likes to read the magazine articles. Speaker 0
Yeah. Goddamn it. Speaker 3
Oh. And seven of you knew that he was looking for his fitspo. Speaker 4
Yeah. I heard it. I'm sorry. Speaker 3
Let's see. Oh, your mom moves to second. Pope Mike still in first. Shorzy Beta, Zach the hack, and miss Casey's. And your mom has a three, wind streak going right now. By the way Speaker 2
impressive since there's only two questions. Speaker 0
Yeah. That was good reading there. Speaker 3
Three correct answers in a row. It's been three questions. Speaker 3
This is question number four, Victor. What is the title of episode two season eleven? Is it lost dog, nudes, influenzas, or Okoya? And everyone's locked in their answer. The correct answer is Okoya. Five of you got that one correct. Biscuits. Let's see what happens here at the leaderboard. Pope Mike stays in first, Trace, aka your mom, in second. Zach, third. Fuck you, Chad. Matt's still on the board, though, in fourth. And Shorzy Betta in sorry. Matt's in yes. In fifth. Here we go. What were the names of the two Okoye delivery men? Were they Carl and Sven, Anders and Gunnar, Jens and Gunnar, or Jens and Lars? Speaker 4
I got it wrong too. Biscuits. Speaker 3
Oh, this is a a good spread. These were good distractors, I think. Three of you got the right answer. It was Jen's and Gunner. Jen's because there's more more than one of them. Right? Damn it. Does that change? Speaker 5
Want Scandinavian names out of his butt. Speaker 3
Yeah. Basically, I did a search for Swedish names. Mike stays in the lead. Nothing changes on the leaderboard though, so that's pretty good. Here we go. Question number six. Who stole the money from the bake sales? Was it Coach? Was it Gale? Was it Stewart? Or was it everyone? Did anyone just take their money back? Come on. No. Speaker 4
I fucked that one up. Speaker 3
Correct answer is Stuart stole it. Four of you got that one right. Speaker 4
No fucking idea. Mhmm. Speaker 3
Does that change anything? Oh, yeah. Oh, Victor's on the leaderboard. Wow. Take a screenshot of that. He's in fourth. Victor. And Matt falls down to fifth. Mike, Trace, and Zach are still in the top three. Here we go. Number seven. What is the title of episode three season eleven? Is it Speaker 0
I clicked the wrong one. Speaker 3
Is it? Damn it. Dog. Is it re answer? Degens, or is it news? Speaker 0
Fucking hell. I knew the answer. I just clicked in between and Speaker 3
The correct answer is lost dog. Speaker 5
There's literally no reason anybody should get the titles wrong. Speaker 3
Seven of you. Agreed. Speaker 0
I knew it and clicked on nudes by accident. Speaker 3
Of you got it right. Speaker 6
So I'm legitimately Speaker 3
And Matt falls off the leaderboard. Victor is still on there, though. Short as he beta falls pulls into fifth place. Speaker 0
This game is rigged. Speaker 3
Mike's building his lead, though. He's got six thousand points. Speaker 0
Jesus. Ain't that good for Mike? Speaker 3
According to Rosie, what type of dog is super tough to find because they're trying to get lost? Is it a terrier, a bulldog, a beagle, or a German shepherd? I feel like this one could have been, like, a trivia master's question. Hey, Jeff? What do you think? Speaker 3
Did you know the answer? You you knew the answer? Alright. Why Speaker 5
is it Serbia a master? Speaker 3
The correct answer is beagle. Only two of you got it. Speaker 3
You guys went for for terrier and German shepherd. Four got four each. Speaker 0
Having owned a dog in the hound category, they're always trying to get lost. Speaker 3
Alright. Does this change things? Nope. Everything stays the same. Just, Trace gets a little closer to Mike. Actually, much closer to Mike. Trace is now only, behind by nine points. Is that right? My is that math? Eleven. Eleven points. Speaker 5
I didn't know. Whatever. Speaker 3
Alright. Here we go. Count. Question number nine. What is the name of the missing dog? What was his name? Was it Peter, Higgins, Scott, or Gregory? Speaker 5
I better get this one. Speaker 3
Son of you knew it was Gregory. By the way, Tanya's playing this, and she's being very quiet beside me. Speaker 7
him even trading? Speaker 5
You made me rewrite a limerick so you could sing Gregory. Matt. Speaker 0
What's happened since then? Okay? That was so long ago. Speaker 3
Wait a minute. Matt, you got it wrong? Speaker 3
I even sang out to distractors. Speaker 4
Matt picked Higgins. Speaker 3
Oh, wow. How would Speaker 3
Trace takes the lead. Deepass is Mike. We have Zach in third still. Victor, inexplicably, still in fourth, and miss Casey moves up to fifth. Go. Wow. Speaker 0
Whereas the seasons have gone out of getting worse at this game. Speaker 1
You were in first. Speaker 3
I am super impressed with Victor right now. I really is is Linda in there playing for you or something? Speaker 2
No. Just me. Just me and my phone. Alright. Speaker 1
Miss your brain, buddy. You're doing great. Speaker 9
Your brain, buddy. Speaker 3
Oh, Aaron, we miss you. Alright. What is the name of the two girls who stood Riley and Jonesy up for their gym dates? Was it May and June, April and May, January and June, or June and April? I don't Speaker 5
think I got this one wrong. Fuck. Speaker 3
And the correct answer is April and May. Speaker 5
it right. Get that one wrong. My hell, the mighty have fallen. Oh. Speaker 3
And Mike retakes the Speaker 3
Mike pulls into first again. Trace still in second. Zach in third. Victor in fourth. Did you get that one right, Victor? Really? Speaker 3
In this case do do you have the answer key? Is that it? Am I, like Speaker 2
I don't have any answer. Speaker 3
Unknowingly sharing it with you somehow? Speaker 3
in the Google Doc somewhere? Speaker 5
It's not. Find the note. Speaker 3
Question eleven. In their search for Gregory, what does Ellen find in the tea leaves? Does she find a dick, a horse, a dog, or nothing? Speaker 3
The correct answer is, of course, a dick. Speaker 3
Six of you got that one right. Speaker 0
You chose dog by accident, didn't you? Speaker 4
I hit the button. I hit the wrong it was in the middle. Speaker 0
Be able to correct before the time's up. Speaker 4
Like, are you sure? Speaker 3
Nothing changes here. Just Mike looks like he pulls away a bit from, Trace. Here we go. Zach hanging in there. Victor still still on the board. What new hobby have Noah and Anita taken up? Is it hunting, dancing, karaoke, or swinging? And the correct answer is swinging. Speaker 10
Who picked karaoke? Speaker 3
Somebody's somebody's saying that. Tanya, did you get that one right? It's a Speaker 1
great habit. Don't Everything Speaker 3
She doesn't remember. In other words, she's just going for Speaker 8
a couple innuendos for swinging just write themselves. Self. Speaker 7
I'm trying to find a color pattern. Speaker 3
There's no pattern. They're randomly they're they're they're shuffled. Nothing changes on the leaderboard. Mike's in first, Trace in second, Zach in third, Victor in fourth, and miss Casey's in fifth. Speaker 4
it's right with the world. Speaker 3
Question thirteen. What is the title of episode four season eleven? May two four, Influenzas, Nudes, or D Gens? And the correct answer is nudes. Speaker 3
Let's see. Does that change any oh, a bit of a shuffle. Speaker 3
What's up? Look who's back back again. Someone. Maddie's on the podium. Oh my god. Okay. Take a picture of this. You go okay. Mike and Trace first and second. I mean, that that makes sense. What doesn't make sense is Victor moved up to third. Wow. Zach's in fourth now. Baby. And Chad or fuck you, Chad, which is Matt. He's in fifth. He's in fifth. Amazing. Speaker 2
I'm just I'm I'm energized by Aaron tonight. Speaker 1
Yeah. You are doing fantastic. Keep it up. Speaker 3
Victor's got the episode titles written down. Speaker 1
This was open book. Speaker 3
I know. But whatever. You need some freebies there. It's still a speed challenge. Nude pictures of whom are circulating letter Kenny? Is it Bonnie? Okay. Missus McMurray? Gail? Oh, that was fast. Tannis? Holy fast. Yes. Speaker 8
It was a wishful thinking on Bonnie there. Come on now. Speaker 3
Somebody got distracted. Somebody got distracted by the beat. Speaker 0
One one can dream. Right? Speaker 3
Fuck. Alright. Next. Nobody that doesn't change anything. Damn it. Zach, yeah. You gotta you gotta pass Victor. You can't let Victor beat you, man. Speaker 6
Oh, trust me. That's what I'm going for. Speaker 3
You don't care about first or second anymore, do you? You just wanna make sure you don't Speaker 6
I I wanna overtake him. Speaker 0
In all fairness, that's also my motivation. Speaker 1
Man, they're coming for you, buddy. Speaker 3
I love it. Alright. Here we go. Question fifteen. The skids enter into an agreement with Abby Goldstein. For what purpose? To play cell? To form a dance troupe? To sell drugs? Or to DJ a bar mitzvah? Speaker 3
Damn it. Alright. Fuck. The correct Oh, I Speaker 0
knew it was that. Speaker 3
Chose wrong. The correct answer was to sell drugs. Speaker 1
It was good. It's not not over yet. Speaker 0
I'm off the board. Speaker 3
And Matt's off the board. Miss Casey takes his place. I'm gonna Speaker 3
Alright. This isn't bad. So far, pretty close in the top four anyway. Who do the McMurray's think leaked Gale's nudes? Was it Glenn? Was it Coach? Was it Dickens? Or was it Jive and Pete? Who leaked Speaker 0
That's what I said. Speaker 3
Who did they say leaked Gale's nudes? They say it was Dickens, and Dickens was right there too, ready to get into the hot tub with them. He was so disappointed. That does oh oh, Zach overtakes Yes. Next. Zach moves up to third. Speaker 3
And Victor is in fourth. In this case, he's in fifth. Here we go. Question seventeen. What is the title of episode five season eleven? Is it d gens made to four influenzas or chips? The correct answer is influenzas. Seventy of you got that one right? Does that change anything? Let's see. Nope. Everything stays the same. Mike still in first. Chase in second. Zach in third. Speaker 0
Mike is on a nine answer streak. Just saying. Speaker 3
What'd you say, bud? Mike. Speaker 8
Damn. Actually, this is my least favorite episode, influenza. So Yeah. Mike's on That might end. That might end. Speaker 3
Let's see. In the episode five cold open, how much money did Daryl win leading to Alexander calling him the Duke of Digbaggshire? Was it twenty bucks, fifty bucks, ten bucks, or a hundred dollars? Speaker 4
the wrong one. I already Speaker 3
Oh, no. Oh, no. Zach might lose his lead. Speaker 0
I I have no idea. Speaker 3
Oh, look at the spread here. Ten bucks. Only four. Yes. Wait. Only four. You got it right. Speaker 0
I know. Victor moved down a spot. Speaker 3
What happened here? Yeah. Oh, miss Casey passes Victor, and things are almost as they should be. Speaker 5
And the world has righted itself. Speaker 3
Almost. Almost. We still we still need to see. We can't have any TPS cohosts on this leaderboard. What is Katie How dare Speaker 1
they know their content? Speaker 3
What is Katie saving up for in this episode? Is it for tanning booth sessions? Is it new Okoye furniture? Is it a pair of doc Doc Martens? Or is it a gift for Wing? A gift for Wayne. The correct answer is a pair of Doc Martens. She wants to be that guy. Speaker 0
I totally guess somehow. Boys. Really? Speaker 8
Yeah. Really. That one is easy. Speaker 3
That doesn't change anything for Speaker 3
For first place, Mike. Speaker 8
Not gonna last. Don't worry. Speaker 3
Eleven in a row, Mike. The pressure is all you're you got a two thousand point lead against Trace to you know Trace is like a national trivia champ. Right? Like, you're two thousand points ahead of Trace. Speaker 8
Wasn't even my favorite season. Speaker 8
Here we go. Maybe. Speaker 3
Question twenty. What are the influenzas in Letterkenny in search of? Is it musty stuff, bloody stuff, mildewy corners? Dusty stuff, rusty stuff, cobwebby corners, old timey stuff, rotten stuff, dark spooky corners, or old stuff, quaint stuff, dusty corners? Speaker 3
KCP looks like she's in pain. Did you answer correctly? Five of you Speaker 3
one. Five of you got it. Dusty stuff, rusty stuff, cobwebby corners. It's the worst question so far. Speaker 0
Are you ready for it? Speaker 6
I agree. I agree. Speaker 0
Al, are you ready? Speaker 3
What happened here? Hit the button. Oh, Victor's off in that zone. Oh. Well, I don't know if that's any better. What? No way. I don't know if that's any better. But there you go. Mike's in first, Trace in second, Zach in third, miss Casey in fourth, and fuck you, Chad, AKA Matt, in fifth. Speaker 0
It's fun to hear others say it. Speaker 3
There we go. Question twenty one. What did the Hicks want to buy from the dicks? Was it summer sausage, frankfurters, dolbasa, or bratwurst? Speaker 8
Aren't they all the same? Jesus. Speaker 5
That's a yeah. Yeah. Right there. Speaker 0
That's a that's a tricky one. Speaker 3
There's an a right answer, and that is summer sausage. Speaker 7
Oh, I should've known. Speaker 3
You just wanted some kielbasa. Let's see. Does that change anything? Oh, miss Casey moves up to third. Passes Zach. Oh, no. Damn it. Did you get that one wrong, Zach? Did you get it wrong? Speaker 6
Yes. I did. Yes. Speaker 3
Yeah. Not good. Mike said Speaker 6
Miss Casey, it's on. Speaker 3
Mike is at thirteen answer streak. Mike, you should be one of the champions competing in a couple of weeks. Speaker 5
Put him in it. Jesus, Sal. Speaker 3
What is the title of episode six season eleven? Is it Okoya, Chips, May two four, or degens? Speaker 3
And the correct answer is degens. Seven of you got that one right. Let's see if that makes any difference on the leaderboard. Nope. Everything stays the same on the leaderboard. Speaker 0
Zach, did you get that wrong? Speaker 3
No. He got the previous one wrong. Speaker 0
No? I think Zach got that one wrong. Speaker 0
I didn't see his numbers I didn't see his numbers move. Speaker 6
Yes. I did. Okay. Speaker 3
Yes. What did Wayne catch Jive and Pete doing in the barn instead of working? Did he catch him? Masturbating, doing drugs, playing on his phone, or napping? Speaker 6
I gotta make a comeback. Speaker 8
I got this one wrong. Speaker 3
No history. Napping. Is the street broken? Speaker 0
I was really confident on my wrong answers. Speaker 3
Eight of you got that one right. He was napping. Oh, yeah. Mike Mike got that one wrong. His streak is over, but he's still in first. He he had enough of a padded lead. Damn it. Alright. Here we go. I forgot what what question are we on here. Twenty four. So twenty four of twenty eight. What prompted Wayne to get his eyes checked? Was it he can't read with Rosie anymore? He couldn't tell the difference between hay and barley? He's told he squint too much or he almost got in the wrong truck. Speaker 8
I got in the wrong too, probably. Speaker 1
Yeah. I love Rosie. Speaker 3
Correct answer is six. I'm told I squint too much. Speaker 2
I thought that was a, dumb insert. Speaker 1
Don't break down now, man. Speaker 3
It it probably was. Oh, and Shorzy Beta. Who's that? Speaker 0
Who's Shorzy Beta? Speaker 3
Is it Casey Pete? Speaker 4
Casey Pete? Okay. Speaker 4
Yeah. That's me. Speaker 3
There you go. Casey is on the leaderboard. Speaker 3
I am happy now. I am order has been restored. Here we go. Question twenty five. What is the title of the season eleven holiday special? It is, is it, the three wise men, May two, four, Saint Perfect's Day, or International Women's Day? And the correct answer is May two four. Seven of you got that one right. Does that change anything? Oh, no. Correct. Speaker 3
Casey fell off the leaderboard. Sorry. Lucky Chad is back on. Let's hope that's that's, you know, temporary. Here we go. Question twenty six. Three more questions. How many classes of fireworks are there in Canada? Are there four, one, three, or two? Speaker 6
I'm just going out. Speaker 3
The correct answer is three. Two. Six of you got it. Speaker 8
Right? Total guess. Speaker 3
Oh, nothing changes on the leaderboard. Matt. Speaker 0
Matt's still there. Still there. Alright. Speaker 5
Mike's back in the game. He was never out of the game. Speaker 3
No. I know. Right? Speaker 3
He's back to three in a row. Here we go. Twenty seven. What class of fireworks do the skids have? Do they have class three, class two, class four, or class one? No idea. Speaker 3
Woah. What a spread here. The correct answer was class. I know there was a bunch of Speaker 0
guesses is what that was. Speaker 3
I know. And, only Speaker 3
you got that right. Yeah. It was pretty spread out. So does that change anything on the leaderboard? No. Nothing changes on the leaderboard. Oh, miss Casey has the highest answer streak of fourteen now. Speaker 3
Alright. I think we're down to the last couple of questions here. No. This is the last question. Sorry. Twenty eight. What are the Australians call McDonald's? Do they call it McDonald's, Maccas, Macyacs, or shit? Speaker 4
Macyacs. Oh, boy. Speaker 3
And the correct answer is Maccas, and seven of you got that. Oh. And does that change anything? Let's see here. The podium goes to in third place, we have miss Casey's. In second place, we have your mom, Trace. And then first, big surprise, Hope Mike. Where do you go, Mike? I'm gonna go. Welcome to the lead. Up Zach and forth. And fuck you, Chad. Stayed on the well, not the podium. He's in fifth, but you made it on fourth. Speaker 5
I got the official Aaron. Speaker 0
It's the podium adjacent. Speaker 3
Podium of Jason. Speaker 1
Congratulations, Trace. Speaker 3
Amazing. That was really cool. What's the summary thing about? Oh, just the the questions. Yeah. Speaker 2
Matt Matt, what was your final point count? Speaker 0
Fourteen thousand seven sixty three. Speaker 2
Mine was fourteen six thirty one. Speaker 3
Oh, so close. So close. Where can I Speaker 0
Still sounds like a sixth place finish for you, sir? Speaker 2
Hey. It's the best I've ever done. Speaker 3
Yeah. Victor, you did great. I think Speaker 0
it's also the least amount of players that we've had, but, you know Speaker 3
Whatever. Messed up. Speaker 6
I was I got in the top five at least. Damn it. Missed Speaker 4
I just unlocked a new character and a new accessory. Speaker 3
Oh, well, Luigi freaking die. Speaker 4
In in all fairness, I Speaker 0
should have had another thousand points because I screwed up on the one that I knew the answer to. Speaker 2
Yeah. That's nothing. Speaker 3
I mean, it it's it's Speaker 1
Here's a thousand points, Matt. Speaker 0
It's meaningful to me, Victor. What's that guy? Speaker 4
That's what the App gave me. Speaker 3
She she's she's flexing. Oh, were you playing two players? Oh, jeez. Okay. Tanya is playing two players. Speaker 3
She was ten and give it to me, baby. And Speaker 6
and If you add up Speaker 2
both the point totals and both, where do you end up? Speaker 3
Well, she came in last and second last. Way to go, ten. Speaker 3
Way to set way to set the tone. Speaker 7
Wanna stay on the Speaker 5
Setting something. Speaker 0
was special, Tanya. Speaker 7
It was a fifty fifty shot. Speaker 3
In in fairness, though, your second last, point total was ten thousand, but your last point total was three thousand. Like, everyone And how Speaker 0
did you figure it was a fifty fifty shot? Where's the Speaker 3
math is that? And that's why she came in last, folks. She's more of a math Speaker 0
You can just spreadsheet that one a bit more. Speaker 3
She's more of a math person. Right? Sounds like it. Amazing. Oh, fuck. Oh, jeez. That was fun. Those are fun. So we only have, like, one more season of Letterkenny tribute to do, and then, we'll be off doing some Shorzy stuff. So I have to, did you lose your your headphones? That's not no. That's not the cable you would jiggle. The phones is Speaker 3
I'm like, you know. Speaker 1
Yeah. Jiggle? Al, you can you can always pick off of letter Kenny too. There's questions you haven't asked. Speaker 3
Yeah. Like, for the the tournament of champions, we'll do something like that. Speaker 0
Hey. You could start doing Jersey trivia, seasons one, two, and Speaker 3
Yeah. Eventually. But I I just want I'm a completionist. I I gotta plus, there's not enough Shorzy. Speaker 0
Is that even a word? Speaker 4
Is that true, Tanya? Speaker 8
Completionist, Tanya. Yeah. Speaker 3
I didn't know that. Speaker 8
Stick with a show, like, three seasons longer than you wanna watch it just to get over it. Speaker 3
Yeah. Oh, I did that with so many shows. Yeah. ER was one of them. Speaker 0
The completist was a YouTube creator. Speaker 8
You jumped show jumps the shark, and you're like, well, I gotta finish the last two seasons Speaker 3
anyway. ER was was still good, but it was just fifteen seasons. I'm like, holy fuck. Like, end already, so I can stop What Speaker 2
about Grey's Anatomy? Isn't that Speaker 8
They're, like, thirty? Speaker 3
This is Grey's? Yeah. Speaker 4
That's a rough ride. Speaker 0
What is Grey's? Grey's Anatomy. Yeah. The first the first ten seasons Twenty. Were good, and then it started to fizzle. Speaker 2
That's too many seasons. Speaker 5
It's like Gunsmoke level of seasons. Speaker 8
Yeah. And those are like a lot seasons too. I got I got drawn in yeah. Speaker 0
They're I got drawn into that madness. Speaker 3
How many seasons was Gunsmoke? Speaker 5
Oh, it's in, like, twenty four, twenty five. Wow. How many? Speaker 8
Like, back in the day, I thought MASH would never be beaten. Like, I'll mash so many seasons. Yeah. No one will ever beat that. You Speaker 3
know? Mhmm. What do I know? Well, Simpson's still going. Speaker 5
Yeah. But Simpson's an outlier. Speaker 2
They don't have cartoons Speaker 5
are getting old and stuff, and Speaker 8
You can't count SNL either. That's a whole different animal. Speaker 4
Yeah. They're going for the fifty's. Anatomy season twenty one episode one drops tomorrow. Speaker 5
Twenty Boys can drink. Speaker 3
Well and what about That's right then. Reality show Survivor. Aren't they, like, on Speaker 2
the sixtieth season? Forty forty seven, I guess. Brother? Speaker 4
That's right. Big Brother too is a long running one. Yeah. CBS? Speaker 5
Yeah. It's crazy. Dancing with the Stars. Speaker 0
Yeah. I don't know what count reality shows, though, in some of this because they kinda just spit those out. Speaker 2
That's like an open mic. You know? Right. Speaker 0
Like, I'm watching the MTV's the challenge, and they're doing season forty, but that's just their regular stream. There's also, like, the US version. They're, like, they've probably done sixty seasons all in. Right? Speaker 3
Right. Cool. Well, congratulations, Mike. Speaker 3
I'll I'll Thank you. Speaker 3
I'll, chat with you offline and make sure you get yourself a nice piece of swag from the TPS store. Swag ever. Really? Speaker 9
Really? That can't Speaker 8
I I bought stuff. I've never gotten any free stuff. Speaker 3
Alright. Well, we'll get you a hat or something. Speaker 2
some free stuff. Speaker 3
Get you something today. Speaker 0
It's true. It's true. Speaker 3
Alright. Before I end this, we were chatting about this a bit in the pre in in the preshow about how, some of the things that we you know, throughout the the years, we we kinda dropped off because they they were no longer you know, they didn't work on the on the podcast or whatever. And some things that I held on to too long, for example, the Twitter roll call that allowed me to do it, Al. Don't do it. So I'm not doing the Twitter roll call. Speaker 0
Fuck, man. I was really can you just do a single side episode where you just read the rest of the names? Speaker 3
No. Because it's all Speaker 0
it's all release. Speaker 3
It's all messed up now because Twitter's all messed up. Now we're we there's more bots than anything else, so I don't wanna call up bots. But what I do wanna do because I like I said, I've been listening to Talkville, which is the Rosenbaum podcast, And what they do is they shout out their patrons. And I don't know why we fucking haven't done this because that makes more sense, doesn't it? Like, are you saying the Twitter roll call by saying thank you for following and hopefully for listening? Well, our patrons, if they're not listening, then they're I don't know what they're paying for. Right? So they're actual listeners. So I'd like to call them out. And what I wanna do because, well, first of all oh, Tan, you you can already see that, so I won't I won't ask you. But, Victor and Matt, over the four years of this podcast, how many patrons do you think we've had total? Like, some have come and gone or whatever, but total patrons do you think we've had? Matt, I know you're a patron yourself, so don't look it up. Yes. Speaker 3
Fifty? What about what do you think, Victor? Speaker 2
I'll say eighty eight. Speaker 3
Eighty eight? Alright. Those are those are pretty good good guesses. So over the the last four years, we've had sixty one patrons total. Wow. On like, paying some level of, some amount of money to listen to our podcast, which is amazing. And you guys know, like, that money, what we do, it's not a lot of money. It's like, some of you are, like, doing a month a dollar a month, and that's freaking great. We we don't expect anything more or less than that. But we we've taken that money, and we've, like Speaker 3
We went to Sudbury to Sudbury. Speaker 3
Sudbury trip. We've bought swag for you know, when we went to Fan Expo, that paid for the swag that we gave to, the actors. You know, whenever I send somebody, you know, a trivia winner like Mike, I'm gonna be sending him some swag. That's what that money goes for. And and, like, I don't I don't use it to pay for hosting with it. That's basic. We just use it to make the show better, right, and and to make it fun. So thank you to the sixty one total. Fifty four of them are still paying, which is pretty good retention numbers if you ask me, like Mhmm. From sixty one. So what I'm gonna do today is I'm gonna shout out all sixty one. But, for you know, moving forward, I'll I'll only shout out the ones who are who are still paying. But I I wanna make sure because these there's been people here who have been patrons since the beginning. And, for example, Mike l, he's our first ever patron. He's he joined January seventh twenty twenty one. The day I I mentioned Patreon, he became our first patron Oh, wow. Mike L. One day later, January eighth, both Jack, our buddy Jack from from Melbourne and Josh b from Pennsylvania joined. So they're second and third. So shout out to those guys. They've been with us the longest. Guess who number four was, Matt? Was our fifth and our first guest, and and she was the reason we got so many great interviews. Crystal, Anna z, Adrian, is in the top ten there. Daniel b, Cool Breeze, awesome. Trace. So, I lost count, but top twenty. Liz, Liz s, Jason z c. And if you don't know who Jason c is, he's the the man behind this. Massachusetts. Jason I. He's I don't wanna say last name. Just go anyway, Justin t, Jacob d, Ryan w, Jamie b, Squirrely Matt. You finally joined at some point because I think you wanted to know what all the fun was about. Speaker 3
Yeah. Danielle, Raymond b, Brian t, mister Tan. I can say him because he's been on our podcast, and he's been part of our, table reads with with, with, Dean and Tiara. Maurice s, aka Moe from Britain Moe. And by the way, guys, all you Americans say you're gonna move to Canada because of all the stuff that's going on. Those two actually did. They moved to Canada. They're living in Brampton now, and I and I can't wait to see them. They've got the the baby and stuff, and it it'll be great to to see them. Michelle, who's on on the call tonight. Tyler, Robbie c. You know who that is? Mike, Mike b, Joey c. Yeah. Joey c. Winner. Yeah. Eric c. Casey d, who's on the call tonight. Jeff c is also on the call. Liz, t, that's, Trace's partner in crime there. Speaker 2
Jeff will be starting his own Patreon account for his segment. Speaker 3
Right? That's right. Yeah. Speaker 5
Shit. If you hadn't said that, he could've worked it in there. Speaker 3
Alastair m, aka Ben from Scotland. Ma'am, I Speaker 9
think I should just get a cut of you guys' Patreon. Right? Speaker 3
Right? Miriam, our friend Miriam and and Juan, they they kinda come as a as a a a couple. Nick d, Aaron is on there. Gord, y y z, Gord. Dennis s from UK. Jen p, Gabe w, Noah b, Scott l, Cassie w. Cassie's not on tonight, but, she's there. Rebecca c, that's Robbie's sister. Dennis g, mister Gugan. Speaker 3
v, Andrew t, KCC, who's on the call tonight, Pauline s j b, one of our trivia masters, Jeremy t a k a Jez, Catherine c, Zach y, Zach's on tonight, Scout g, Tobias g, PJM, Jeremy in Vegas, Paddle, Corey s, and Dave s. So those are all our patrons, past and present. Thank you so much, everyone, for that dollar a month, two dollars a month. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Mike? Speaker 8
I hope this doesn't backfire on you, Alan. You reminded people that they still are patrons. Speaker 3
Right. Well, we're able to get here. It's all good. Speaker 0
I'm still paying for that. Shit. I thought I canceled that. Speaker 5
Well, the funniest thing was is I set up my Patreon, and I was like, I didn't know anything about Patreon. You're the first Patreon I've ever patreoned. Speaker 5
And I was like, oh, what do you do on this? Okay. I have to ten bucks a month. And then, like, a week later, they go, Speaker 3
you can do it for Speaker 5
as little as a dollar a month. Speaker 3
And I'm like, fuck. Yeah. I don't wanna Speaker 5
mess with changing it now. Speaker 3
Oh, bless you, man. Bless you. Speaker 8
First and still only Patreon that I have. So Speaker 0
Yeah. And when that translates into Canadian dollars, that goes a long way. Speaker 3
Yeah. Your dollar a month US, yeah, it goes a long way. I was a a patron for Toronto Mike, obviously, before this. So I that's how I knew about the site and started using it. But, again, guys, like, it's how it helps so much just to keep things going, but, also, it it kinda gives me more work because we gotta, you know, come up with different ways to to thank you and reward you, which we're we're happily doing, and, we'll continue to do. And if, and if you guys have any other ideas where that we can make it even more worthwhile, let, you know, let us know, as long as they're low effort because I'm really busy. So there's stuff we can do. Like, I'm do you know, I'm starting to do those, Tuesday morning IGs, live IGs, but that's not even for patrons. That's just for anyone who's on Instagram. Stumbles across it on Instagram. Yeah. Exactly. But, anyway, yeah, if there's anything I I was trying to figure out a way to do a livestream for for our patrons only. Did a few tests, like, a couple of weeks ago. Still trying to iron out those bugs. But, yeah, we'll we'll we'll figure stuff out. Just, you know, different ways to to make it worth your while. But thank you so much. Four years of doing this, and we really appreciate you. So all that's left to do is final comments, and let me go quickly around the horn and before I get to my panelists. And I'll start at the bottom right. Awesome. Are you there? Can you speak? Maybe not? How about you, Erin? Oh, awesome. Speaker 10
Yay. Awesome. Yeah. Speaker 4
So I I just wanna on the record, the only one I got wrong was the number of Speaker 10
fireworks category. Speaker 4
But other than that I know. Right? Yeah. No. It's always fun even though I was busy. I was just listening. I enjoy hanging out with you guys. I look forward to the after party. Speaker 3
Yeah. Alright. Erin, you still there? Speaker 1
Yeah. I'm here. I'm here. I actually ended up, logging on. I I I made it to about eighth eighth place. But, Speaker 3
I saw that. I saw somebody joined late. I'm like, that must be Erin. You still finished ahead of Tanya. Both Tanya's. Speaker 1
She'll get it next time. I believe in her. Speaker 7
I didn't come in last. Well, one of me didn't. Speaker 3
Oh, that's what she meant by learning the numbers. Amazing. Speaker 1
Thank you so much for making my drive home a a wakeful one, and, congratulations to everyone. You all get a point. You did great. Speaker 3
Alright. Thanks. Casey, are you there? She is muted. We'll we'll come back to Casey. Michelle. Speaker 10
Great to see everyone and hear everyone, and love you lots. Speaker 3
Alright. This has been Speaker 3
Thank you, Casey. Casey p, who said that her her daughter was was guessing at all the answers and getting most of them right. Speaker 4
He did. It was, like, really good. But then I had to explain to everyone what what happened in the episode. Speaker 3
Alright. I didn't Speaker 4
hit myself during it. So I was like, okay. Speaker 3
Oh, otherwise, you would have come in first. Right? Speaker 4
Yeah. That's true. Speaker 3
Yeah. And that's a given. Alright. Mike, champion. Speaker 8
Yeah. I almost didn't come tonight because we had a a fundraiser for the kids' school. Speaker 8
I had a bar, like, three blocks away. And Thanks, Mike. Like, I was like, maybe I'll just, you know, watch football and go to bed, but I'm glad I came Speaker 3
out tonight. I'm glad you did too. I mean, that was a a, a performance almost worthy of the tournament of champions. Now Speaker 3
job. Tell me the truth. Have you gone into the Trivia Helpers channel at all yet? Speaker 8
I haven't been in there. Speaker 3
So if I kicked you out of there, you haven't seen any of the questions? Speaker 8
I opened it to be like, what the hell? I I wouldn't even I was like, should I? I think, I don't even know what to put in, so I just I haven't really been in it. Speaker 3
Alright. So you know I didn't go Speaker 0
in either, Mike. I I just in case for tonight. Speaker 8
I thought that was tonight. Like, I thought that was Yeah. Those questions were gonna be here. I thought it was championship day. No. That's how, like, busy I've been, and then we follow them. Speaker 3
No. Championship is hopefully in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, if everyone's available. Jeff, are you available in a couple of weeks? Speaker 9
I mean, I should be. Usually don't do much Thursday night. So K. Speaker 3
And, awesome, are you available in a couple of weeks? Awesome is Speaker 7
Dates will be sent. Speaker 3
Yeah. Dates will be sent. Anyway I'm gonna try to oh, okay. Let me get rid of Benelli so that you can see the, Speaker 8
I I will be honored to play. I think I'll be, like, close to last, but I'll honor to give it a shot. Speaker 3
Oh, you you did even you Yeah. You did great tonight. So you know what? I gotta I gotta, get rid of you. Speaker 8
Might have been the three beers I had after this at this thing. Speaker 3
Maybe. But if you had, like, a a long streak going. Anyway, so, you're out of the the trivia helpers because I need help coming up with these questions, and I'll I'll add you to the tournament. That way, it's fair. But, anyway is Speaker 3
I think so. Please tell Speaker 1
me Matt and Victor are playing too. Speaker 3
I'll think about it. I'll think about it. Yeah. Speaker 1
And Tanya too. Tanya too. I believe in you. Speaker 3
I think I think all Speaker 9
the hosts need to be in there too. You Speaker 3
think so? Alright. Yeah. I think we should do that. That'll be fun. Gonna go well. Speaker 9
Yeah. What you should do is add the scores of the three cohosts, and if they can beat everybody else Oh, Speaker 3
That means we'll be the Speaker 2
the control. Yeah. Speaker 3
Ten. That means you can only create the one one. Speaker 7
Thinking of bumping it up to four and then play every color. That was the new game plan. Speaker 0
I like with I like how this is going. Speaker 3
Yeah. Zach, final, comments. Speaker 6
This is it's been a good time hanging out with y'all. Speaker 6
It's, the the week has been a little bit rough, but, I always look forward to every Thursday, you know, Thursday. But, especially, I I wasn't aware that there was gonna be trivia tonight, so that was even a bigger bonus. So Speaker 3
Yeah. Well, you did alright. You you you stayed on the leaderboard for the most part. Speaker 6
I I did the best I could. Speaker 3
Yeah. And you didn't lose power either. You were doing it in the middle of a storm. I think, you should get extra points for that. Speaker 6
Well, it was a great time. Thank you for having me. I I love being here with y'all and you're all the greatest people. Speaker 3
Alright, bud. Thanks. Jeff? Speaker 9
Yeah. It's great being here again. Speaker 3
Were you playing along with, like, awesome? Did you get them all right as well? Speaker 9
No. No. And I I think I missed three total. So yeah. Speaker 3
No. You better work out then, man. In a couple of weeks, you you need to bring that up. Speaker 9
Yeah. I need to, I'm gonna go back and probably start rewatching Letter Kenny for the five hundredth time, just to to to get one more ahead of, Tobias. But, no, no. Great time tonight. It's fun fun listening in and seeing what questions pop up. Gotta get back out on the on on on the walking trails here, guys. I gained sixteen pounds, eating food in Canada. Speaker 3
So Yeah. That'll do it. It's so so good. Yeah. But I mean Speaker 7
that lobster in the butter. Speaker 3
That's a long weekend for me, though. I mean, you know Speaker 0
Right. Right. Right. Speaker 9
Well, I mean, I gotta I gotta drop it all before we head back in November. So, yeah, we'll see we'll see what happens. But, no. This was great, guys. Look forward to champions night. Speaker 3
Alright. And Trace. Speaker 5
There is no shame in second place. No. I'm fine with it. Thank you. You Speaker 5
guys did a great job. Everything was wonderful. I haven't been in a while. It was good to be back at least and to show up on time this week. And, yeah, we'll see Speaker 3
you see you next time. Speaker 2
Alright, Matt. Please circle back to Casey first. I think she's got it. Speaker 3
Are you back? Oh, Casey, you're back. Yeah. Yeah. Final final comments from you, Casey. Speaker 4
This was great. Thank you. Love you guys. Speaker 3
Alright. Matt, you're sweet. Speaker 0
Yeah. There's a lot of fun. I needed this today. It was a weird one. Speaker 0
was I was a little down earlier, so it was great to see all your beautiful faces and have some fun and and and do okayish at trivia, so that was fun. Speaker 9
You you trounced Chad. Come on. Yeah. Speaker 0
It felt good seeing fuck you, Chad on the board. So that that that in itself paid paid off in dividends, so I like that. I do wanna quickly echo, somewhat else said about the Patreon stuff. I know yeah. You're right. We don't give enough love or or I think we don't talk about enough, but we genuinely appreciate. I mean, thanks to that, you know, it's we're we're like you said, we're able to give back to you guys when and where it makes sense and and and contribute to things, but it's also given us some of the coolest experience helped us Speaker 0
Have some of the coolest experiences I've had in years Yep. Which that funding has helped us, which we then get to come back and share with all of you. So, from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate the hell out of everyone. I said even before we started, you all of you and and listeners, everyone, are why I continue to do this, less about the shows and more about the community, and, we'll keep doing it as long as, you you guys will keep having us. So thanks. Speaker 3
Well said. Victor? Speaker 2
Yeah. These things are great. I love when, there's a whole group of us. It reminds me of when, you know, our trips to Sudbury and whenever you guys come through Toronto and we get to see each other in person. Yeah. The these are really good. And, yeah, I really appreciate it when we get together like this. Speaker 7
I echo, Matt and Victor. Thank you so much to to everyone. This was a lot of fun. I'm happy that I didn't come in last. Well, one of me. And, I I can't wait Speaker 0
to fifty fifty shot did Speaker 4
not come in last. Speaker 7
Right? That's the numbers. And I can't wait to see the champion of champions and and how this plays out because, that is going to be exciting. Speaker 3
We're gonna have to come up with a really special prize for them. I don't wanna Speaker 7
You're gonna have to come up with special song. Like, I feel like there there needs to be, like, a unicorn like, an an like, a unicorn of unicorns. Speaker 3
Okay. I don't have time for that. Speaker 0
I remember his ass to make things low effort? Speaker 3
Yeah. Yeah. Low effort for these people. Amazing. Anyway, yes. I echo everything everyone's saying here. I mean, the the patrons, like, going through that list today, I'm like, wow. I can't believe, you know, for the four years. Like, some some of the patrons have been here for the for the the duration. And even if it's a dollar to a month or whatever, I mean, it's still, you know, I I cancel subscriptions over less. So the fact that you guys are still doing it and still joining us for these calls and stuff, I really appreciate it. Love it when you guys, you know, chime in and and and participate. Oh, already getting some trash talking in the in the comments. Awesome says, when she wins trivia master, she wants a date with Tanya as her prize. Wow. Alright. The the gauntlet the gauntlet has been thrown down. Anyway, guys, thank you so much. And I'm gonna play us off here with a song and be and so we can head over to the after party. And, let's see. Let's go with let's go with Tanya's favorite, Your Man by Joji. And that's all we have for this episode. In a couple of weeks, we're going to host our TPS trivia masters.
