Speaker 0
Seen. Take over team headquarters. Speaker 1
So that's where Aaron keeps the robot voices and all the kahoot questions and basically all the stuff we may need in an episode. And up here is, Joey, Speaker 2
what? What's up? Speaker 1
What you got there, Bob? Speaker 2
Oh, this? I, I brought it from home. Speaker 1
A large container of feather boas? Speaker 1
Go put them back. Now Where was I? Oh, yeah. And this is where Liz and Trace do the writing. Speaker 3
Wow. So this is where they create the brilliant intros and limerick masterpieces. Speaker 1
Brilliant master. Yeah. Sure thing, kid. That's the place. Speaker 1
Okay. And this office is where Casey runs the takeovers, playing tunes, hosting zooms. Speaker 1
You too, Don? And unlike some people, she actually edits in there from time to time. Speaker 4
Speaking of, where is everybody awesome? Speaker 1
Oh, there's no takeover team this week, so probably at home. Speaker 0
Well, you're here. Speaker 1
Yeah. Needed a Renno vacay. So where's your office? It's up here in the library. Speaker 0
Geez. Awesome. How many locks do you need on that door? Speaker 1
That is a dual piston actuated cyber encrypted lock. That is a quad frequency retinal scanner, and that is a heat sensitive biometric palm reader access control. Speaker 1
What's that, Chad? Speaker 1
there? Imagine a complete compendium of old things Kiso. Letter Kenny, Shoresy, both on cherry movies, and you Speaker 2
Monsters. Monster warriors. Speaker 1
Well, I just got noticed that our fearless leader is tied up in Calgary this week. Guess I better go fire up the portal and get the team together after all. Look, I gotta go make sure the gas cans are full. You all stay here and don't touch anything. Joey? Speaker 2
What? What are we not gonna do? Touch anything. Speaker 1
Right. I'll be back. Hey, guys. We should we should do it. Speaker 0
Yeah. Think about it. Four of them, four of us. We fire everything up. Just start recording. Speaker 3
You think we can pull it off? Wait. Well, wait. There's five of them. Speaker 0
Tain Webb are really the Riley Jonesy of the takeover team. They only count as one. Speaker 2
Oh. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Speaker 0
Besides how hard can it be? Speaker 2
Fuck it. I'm in. Speaker 3
You know, it's easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission. Scoden. Speaker 4
Guys, Awesome was going to be back any second, and she told us not to touch anything. Speaker 2
Oh, come on. It'll be fun. Speaker 4
Okay. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Speaker 0
Okay. Good. Now, look, everybody quick. Go grab anything that we might need and we'll all meet at the portal. Speaker 2
A few moments later. Speaker 3
Hey, Chad. I got the complete works of Tate and Webb, volumes one and two. Nice. Speaker 4
Chad, little hulk. Speaker 4
It's a zone board, and it's heavy. Speaker 0
Oh, yeah. Good thinking. Speaker 3
What did you get? Speaker 3
The big book of Kiso. Speaker 4
Oh, Chad. Awesome's gonna kill you. Speaker 0
Probably, but it's totally worth it. Speaker 2
Guys, guys. I'm here. Are you ready? Really? Feather boas? Speaker 0
Yeah. Okay, everyone. Joey, get the door. Okay. Username, Chad, password, fuck you, man. Hold on. Here we go. Speaker 3
Wait. Where are we going? Speaker 2
That fresh produce stand there. That's a beauty. Speaker 5
you use listen to? Speaker 6
My favorite murder podcast. Speaker 2
Tagger and Torrance podcast. The produce stand. Speaker 0
It's thirsty, Thursday, and that means we are once again hanging out at the boosting. Hot test covering everything in there. You, never. Now I know what you're thinking. There are many other Lettie Kenny podcasts out there, but this one has not one But two, take over teams. I am one of your co one of your hosts tonight, Chad, and my fellow cohorts are the The president of the Mark Forward fan club, Cassie, one of the blueberry crew members Joey and the podcast lucky charm, Elijah. In joining us tonight, there are an artist whose letter Kenny fan art has been retweeted by Andrew Her and Dylan Playfair, a moderator of the letter Kenny subreddit and one of awesome's multifarious niblets, please welcome Randall. Where's this button? If it plays. Speaker 2
It's doing terrific. Speaker 3
One job, Chad, one job. Speaker 2
Wee, wee, wee, wee, wee, Speaker 0
wee, wee, wee, wee, wee. Speaker 3
Yeah. I realized that after. Speaker 0
Welcome to the produce stand. Randall. How are you now? Speaker 5
Thank you so much for having me. Good year. Speaker 0
I'm I'm doing excellent. I am doing excellent. Since it's your first time on the produce stand, we'll we'll ask some the standard questions. When did you Discover letter Kenny? Speaker 5
it's a bit of a curly story because, like, the series wasn't legally available to stream in Australia until late twenty nineteen, I want to say. So I vaguely remember watching one of the original shorts on sometime around twenty fifteen, but it wasn't until late twenty eighteen when I saw a tweet from Mark Ford on my timeline. Which has most likely been deleted by now. When they were on set filming season seven and it made me go, oh, what's this? Then what started off as watching, a few YouTube clips quickly turned into the first six seasons. How I managed to obtain those first six seasons, I shall not elaborate. Speaker 5
We do not condone piracy. Speaker 0
That's fair. That's fair. That's fair. So when did you discover this podcast? Speaker 5
So I used to work in retail, for a store called JB Hi fi. Which if you don't know what it is, it's kind of like the Australian equivalent of a Best Buy. And I spent ninety percent of my time in the store making signs and listening to podcasts while I worked, and there was a point where I ran out of episodes from the shows I downloaded. And which meant I had to look for, like, brand you wants to listen to and lo and behold, the trailer pop. What? The produce stand was on my recommended. And I've kind of been listening to it ever since, and it's amazing to see how far this series and its community has come since then. And I think what keeps me coming back is the chemistry you guys all have, and you all make me make me make the small make me appreciate the small things of the series a whole lot more. Speaker 0
What about some of your art? Like, when did you start, like, drawing and, like, like, how is it? It's pretty cool that you got retweeted by Andrew and Dylan, like, some of your cool art. Speaker 5
Yeah. Like, I've kind of been I've been making art since, oh, maybe twenty fourteen, but Letter Kenny is kind of a unicorn. It's the first and possibly only live action show that I've drawn fan art of, and I'm kind of it's been super surprising to see it being noticed by the cost and crew and also, like, the community as a whole. And it's it was possibly, like, the only thing I drew for a few years I'm not gonna lie to you. It's a bit embarrassing. But, yeah, no, it slowed down in recent years, but I still draw a lead penny here and there. It's mostly just, like, fan art for adult swim and stuff like that these days.
Speaker 0
It's pretty cool. That's pretty cool. I don't know. Apparently, you are working on something for this, but we won't talk about that.
Speaker 0
Yes. No. We can't talk about that yet. Not yet. Alright. So Now that you've gotten this far in the podcast, you might have noticed that we aren't here the TBS.
Speaker 0
Surprise. We're not in. So let's, let's just get into the, how are you now, I guess. So How are you now? Tonight's line up will be Cassie, Joey, Eliza, Randall, and I'll have the final word. Cassie, how are you now?
Speaker 3
Oh, it has been a week. I feel like every time I answer, how are you now? That's how I start. We basically just need merch that says it has been a week. It's been busy. There's been, like, at work. Last weekend, I got what we think might be like a minor concussion, and that has just made me really anxious all week. So A lot of fun. This has been what I've been looking forward to all week. And honestly, thank you so so much for inviting me to You know, take over the portal for a little while.
Speaker 0
I mean, you were
Speaker 0
You were pretty much my first choice. So It's sad. I mean, I needed my partner in crime.
Speaker 3
Weird. Flattery. I'll get you everywhere.
Speaker 0
I'm sorry, Joey, you were you did something pretty cool last night?
Speaker 2
I did. Like a few other folks, I finally went to the Letter Kenny presents night of stand up with Mark Forward, Ali Pierce and Jeff McHenry, and it was a phenomenal show. It was great to meet them and chat with them a little, a little bit. I didn't get to chat kind of personally with them as much as I would have hoped, but I was able to answer some or ask some good questions. I was definitely, like, the most knowledgeable, VIP guest there. Other people definitely were asking questions and things, but like I mentioned the podcast. I mentioned the forty nine episode, contract Kiso signed and stuff, and Mark made the point. I was like, okay, you know a little bit more than than some others and, got into some detail. I got some cool, we'll kind of behind the scenes, information and little tidbits and stuff about the show and some of their opinions on episodes and stuff like that that I can dive into here in a little bit once we get into our favorite episodes and such.
Speaker 2
Yeah. They're pretty good stuff. One real quick was, Mark prompted it to Jeff. And for everybody else, Jeff McHenry plays Alexander on the show. The whole, steak dinner cold open in season ten, I believe. Maybe eleven. Was the backwards helmet, the bike falling over
Speaker 2
Was, like, in the first take or in the practice take, was totally done on accident he did not do it on purpose. He didn't realize the helmet was on backwards. He couldn't get the kickstand to work. So, like, it just the bike just fell over naturally. And then, like, it's awesome. Right after that, he's like, oh, no. That wasn't intentional. And so Keith is like, yeah, roll with that and keep it coming.
Speaker 0
It's pretty cool. Pretty cool. Anything else exciting to happen? Damn.
Speaker 2
While I got this neat little poster. Yep. It seems like everybody on the tour is getting it in every city. This little, wood carved out German sheppard in like a tree log. Pitter patter up there signed by Ali Pierce. And Mark Forward and Jeff McHenry.
Speaker 0
That's pretty cool. That's cool.
Speaker 2
That came with the VIP purchase.
Speaker 0
Nice. Nice. Nice.
Speaker 2
yeah. And then everyone's freaking out. They're like, yeah, we're getting the hell out of here after this. Kinda ragging everybody just as comedians do, but we were really nice weather the last week. And then last night, a giant snowstorm rolled in.
Speaker 2
we've probably gotten like eight to nine inches just here in my backyard.
Speaker 0
Sounds fun. Sounds fun.
Speaker 3
Yeah. You can keep it.
Speaker 0
Glad winner showed up on a pie day. Yes. Glad winner finally showed up.
Speaker 2
Yeah. This is definitely, I think, the most. No. We've gotten the whole winter. And winter's over next week.
Speaker 0
Elijah, it's been a while since you've been on the spot. How are you?
Speaker 4
I'm good. And you? I'm good. And you?
Speaker 0
Oh, I'm I'm doing pretty good.
Speaker 4
Yeah. Just Yeah. Just going along, teaching the youth of America. They've been extra extra crazy lately. And the hormones are horomowning. Real bad right now in sixth grade. So that's always been that's that's yeah. That's that's real fun. I have a giant ass air purifier right next to my desk, so I don't just smell them because they all smell bad. Especially after PE because we have PE in the afternoon too. So they come back in as this horrible.
Speaker 4
But Yeah. I've been good. I have my own little place now. I have my own apartment a little by myself. I love it. It's so cute except for my wifi. My wifi sucks, but it's it's okay. Yes.
Speaker 2
We're gonna get through.
Speaker 0
It it's doing okay right right now for now. Randall, how are you now?
Speaker 5
Oh, yep. Good news.
Speaker 0
How was your week?
Speaker 5
This week was a write off. So I was working all week, but it was filled to the brim with useless mandatory training getting my proficiencies back up to snuff, like my weapons, my my physical tests, which I scraped by for the skin of my teeth, but I'm still that's still a tick in the box. So, very limited work has been done, but that's a next week job now.
Speaker 5
I recently moved into, my new my new house. I'm now an adult.
Speaker 0
Oh, there you go.
Speaker 5
Like, I got bills to pay and
Speaker 2
It's not as This is the worst.
Speaker 0
It's it it it's the worst when you get too used to it at first.
Speaker 2
It's not as hyped up as it's made out to be.
Speaker 5
No. I'm only just figuring that out now. I have regret.
Speaker 0
Yeah. It as former military myself too, I I I I feel the pain of going through all those certifications and stuff like that. So I gotta get it. I get it. So and then, any anything else you you wanna add? Because I
Speaker 5
no. Unfortunately.
Speaker 0
Fair enough. Fair enough. Well, my week's been decent. I've I've been stressing about getting this all set up and ready to go all week. And, hopefully, and so far, so decent, I guess. So that's a plus. Boring work week, I guess, as usual, but I have I have some fun exciting things this weekend. I got going to a concert seen one of my favorite dumb bands. So that's fun. That's fun. So that's that's about it. Yeah.
Speaker 2
Same patties this weekend.
Speaker 0
It's oh, yeah. Same patties this weekend too also. It's a it's a power metal band, and, they play really dumb music. So it's it's it's gonna be great. I've been listening to their, like, most of their albums, like, all week. It's awesome.
Speaker 5
Oh, you gotta give me the name off of the show.
Speaker 0
Of They're they're called glory hammer. So really
Speaker 4
I'm proud of them.
Speaker 0
Oh my gosh. No. It's a great pen. Great pen. Am I right? Finally, somebody knows the truth. Anyway.
Speaker 2
Yes, Sykes. I don't know if you've been on the regular, channel chat much, but I'll add it a music one. Music channels. So just tonight, Chad and, Oh my gosh. Nibbs.
Speaker 2
Zach. Our been, Zach. Thank you. I'm sorry, Zach. Been chatting about kind of those bands and stuff. Sweet.
Speaker 0
Yes. And, that's a good plug to join the Discord server because it's a fun time there. So make sure you do that. Make sure you message l to join the discord server. But, let's get let's keep rolling.
Speaker 3
Literally, if anybody's, if anybody's listening and they haven't joined the discord server, like, what are you doing? Yeah.
Speaker 2
And you tell your finger at it.
Speaker 0
And you're listening to a
Speaker 3
Pitter pattern. So
Speaker 0
Jeez. What are you doing? What are you doing? Alright. Let's let's keep moving here. If it plays.
Speaker 2
Previously, on letter, Kenny.
Speaker 0
Last week, we had the our third annual ladies night in celebration of International Women's Day. It's and it sounded like It was a great listen. That's what I'm trying to say. And it sounded like they had a fun time. Right, Cassie?
Speaker 3
Yeah. It was really awesome. I freaking love doing the ladies nights, and I always feel super honored to be part of it, and to kind of just have a moment to elevate the voices of some people I'd say are my role models now.
Speaker 0
That it it was a fun time in the after show, and that's where we decide. That's where I decided that I was gonna take over. So and then drag these fine people with me as well. So but, let's let's, get into this episode here.
Speaker 2
Well, don't bore us. Get to the chorus.
Speaker 0
We're gonna be tate we're gonna be discussing our favorite Letter Kenny podcast, like episodes, not podcast. I mean, of our favorite letter kitty podcast is this podcast, but our favorite letter kitty I'm insane. I only listen to one too, but our favorite, letter, Kenny episodes. I'll be asking my fellow questions, and then we'll just kinda chitchat about it. And, If we if we have to fill up an hour, I I have ideas for we have ideas for more things. So stay safe and
Speaker 0
Stay if we have to. Alright. Cassie, you're up first. Start with you. What is your favorite episode and why is it a coach sent Drake episode?
Speaker 3
Oh, that's a good question. My favorite episode,
Speaker 0
like because it is the answer. Is it a is it a great question? Because we know, like, there's like four coach episodes. So it's one of those ones.
Speaker 3
And I think it would surprise nobody to know that my absolute favorite episode is, Valentine's Day. It's actually
Speaker 3
Of course. It's actually the episode that, like, I've been casually watching Letter, Kenny, and that's the one where it just, like, hit. It was, like, there's your gooey center and go. Speaker 2
Guzzy'd rather just jerk off, Speaker 3
Who's saying I'm not doing that right now? Speaker 0
D. You do you mean Whoa. Whoa. Speaker 6
Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Speaker 2
It is audio only? Yeah. Speaker 0
This is this is a audio media. Okay. We can't post this this shit on YouTube if you do that. Jeez. Speaker 3
Well, can people just trust me that I'm sitting here in a a bare hoodie, like sipping an iced coffee? That's not actually happening. Speaker 2
We've got nine other witnesses. Speaker 6
And we don't believe you and we don't believe you. Speaker 2
Ouch. But, yes, Valentine's Day Speaker 3
is a hundred percent Speaker 6
my favorite episode. Not just because of Coach, though he Speaker 3
played a fantastic role in it. I just really love seeing everybody interact. Speaker 2
Mhmm. Dax and Ron are good on that one too. Yeah. Speaker 3
Oh my god. Right? And then the cute little, like, handmade cards? Speaker 2
Mhmm. Yeah. Skirly dance cards. I'm a hit. Speaker 0
Oh, also, I I do love I do love, like, the weighing in, stuart, like, interaction between there because you don't really see them, like, kinda bond at all. Like, in the show. And then you Yeah. When I when I'm Speaker 2
get, like, eighty percent there. Yeah. And then Stewart doesn't tip his server, and it's just it tanks. Relationship building. Like, oh, this is over. I tried. We're done. Speaker 3
Like, there's so many good nuggets in that episode, but it It is a a a sexy, sexy episode. Speaker 2
You have a line from it that's like, I don't know, your favorite of, like, you mostly say. Like, you could just, like, boom quote other than Oh. I'd rather just go home and jerk off. I mean, Speaker 3
Oh, my god. I'm never gonna hear the end of this. Obviously, like, the the chirping, was really good, but when coach goes, you know what? Let's fuck. Just a look on everybody's face in reaction to that, is wonderful. And the Lyle Lovett's line, like, I just ah, that's such good writing. I wish I had a more, like, intellectual way to describe it, but it's just fantastic writing. Speaker 0
I mean, it it is, Speaker 0
Well written episode. So Speaker 2
Last night, coach made a point or sorry coach. Mark Ford, somebody asked, your moments or, like, favorite episode or something like that. Or no. I think I asked, like, Who are you breaking? Who's the funnest to break? Who breaks you the most? And he mentioned Dylan play for it. Play fair is the easiest to break. Speaker 2
he said that the Lyle Love at Shell Crow fucked child was, like, dill and play for, like, could play fair, couldn't keep it together. Speaker 3
It's yeah. No. It's it's wonderful. And there'll be times just apropos of nothing. That conversation will be in my mind while I'm at work. I'll just be like, uploading to portals, and then I'll think, you know, love it. And he's trying to, you know, spell it. Two t's. Yeah. No. I love it too. Like, just so good. Speaker 2
The, the, the matchmaker in that is, really good too. It's like totally disbelief and disgust that all these people are wanting to drink that early in the morning and just like, wanna be paid upfront and everything. Like, she's funny and that pretty too. Speaker 3
And her, the way that she classifies different levels of profanity with levels of blue and keep it to a periwinkle flip blue. Speaker 2
Is pretty close, like royal blue. Speaker 3
Yeah. It's all around, I think it's one of the strongest episodes bar none from the series. Speaker 0
It's it's probably one of my yeah. It's probably my favorite of, like, like, holiday episode, I would say. For me, at least for me. Speaker 2
Sykes, what about you? Speaker 2
are your thoughts on Valentine's? Sorry Randall Sykes. Sykes is a Twitter handle. Everybody go follow. Speaker 5
Now both is fine. Like, I think it's actually my favorite my favorite holiday episode next to, Free Wiseman. But, yeah, no, the whole lyle of it, Cheryl Croff child is. Never fails. Speaker 5
they're all walking in to the to the AgHA the ad cole of the church. I can't remember where it was set, but it's the church. Yeah. Speaker 0
I think it was the church. Speaker 4
The church. Yeah. Speaker 2
Okay. Do you need a room in the church? Speaker 5
Yeah. Just everyone doing their little power poses and just like, you can see that everyone was having fun. Speaker 1
But I will back here. Speaker 2
No one's been a really fun scene to shoot. Oh. For sure. Be curious on that one because it is just that single location. There's so much dialogue, but we know from past interviews that they just rip through these these, these scripts. So I'm curious how long that took to take to film and everything. If they got it done in a day or or what Speaker 3
Yeah. That's a good question. Speaker 3
Like, I'm here mumbling over my own thoughts. I can't imagine trying to trying to just quickly run those lines, like, oh my god. Speaker 2
With that, I think it was Jeff mentioned it last night. Maybe it was Mark. No. I think it was Jeff. They, you know, Jeff, Mark, they're, you know, practicing their line, studying them. And they'll still mess them up and stuff obviously, but they're talking about Jared Kiso. I'll just do, like, everything, like, with, like, no problem. He knows everything he's doing, knows all the script, all of it. And it's just incredible. They're that they're just saying, like, how incredible, like, he is doing it at all and, like, how impressive it is. Speaker 0
Yeah. It it is it is, like, pretty wild, like, how fast they can just rip through those pages. A lot Eliza, what do you what do you think about Valentine's? Speaker 4
I really like it. It's one of my favorite holiday episodes as well. However, I think seeing perfect day is my number one, like, holiday episode. But I thought since Valentine's was just, so funny, and I love that The whole, like, interactions between Stewart and Wayne. Those are my that's like one of my favorite parts of, like, the whole series or, like, when they're, like, like, shooting the hockey ring in the hunt and and the hockey ring and all of that. So yeah. I really, really like that episode. Speaker 2
Yeah. They do the back and forth on, like, the hockey players, toughest player, dirtiest player, stuff like that. Speaker 3
And I mean, that line about, like, him saying I've been a skid as long as you've called me one is just gold. Speaker 0
It's heat. Yeah. It is. It's it's Speaker 0
It is. Who is your favorite character in this episode, Cassie? Speaker 2
You all just answered that one together. Speaker 0
I mean, besides coach. Speaker 3
You can't limit me like that. Speaker 0
I mean, we we know it was gonna be coach. But if it had been Speaker 0
it be an unborn fetus? Like like Speaker 3
some It would not. Speaker 0
It was like some host. Speaker 2
What was that Victor? Speaker 0
That was that was Victor's Well, MVP is Speaker 2
because the matchmaker was pregnant. Yeah. It's right. Speaker 3
I don't give a shit about your unborn fetuses. Speaker 2
She'd like it's There Speaker 3
are like, like I said, it's such a standout performance for so many of the characters. I really love Riley in it. I really love, roles, like, his whole thing about the narrative and whatever gets us past this narrative is very, very funny. And Dairy when he gets his handmade card from from, Dan, it's just so wonderful. I guess I'm gonna go with Riley, but rolled comes in a very close second, but only because you you basically told me I can't choose coach. Speaker 0
Mean, like, we knew it was gonna be coach. So, like, it had to be somebody else, at least at least this one time, not coach. Speaker 2
the dream number one? Speaker 0
Yeah. What is your favorite scene slash moment in this episode? Speaker 3
Like I said, I I really love the back and forth between, coach and Riley. I really adore the back and forth between, coach and Gail as well. It's kind of I so I'm probably I'm probably thinking of it out of order, because when I first saw the series, it was out of order. But it's one of the first times we really see that like, oh, these two are, you know, kindred spirits in a lot of ways. That's not to say, like, in a shipping way, but in a these are two people who are very similar. Same same, but different. Speaker 3
then I absolutely also love the bonding between, between Wayne and and Stewart. It's I I can't help but gush over this episode. It's just perfect in every single way. I'm so sorry. I don't Speaker 2
think there's like a single flaw. About the episode. Yeah. Speaker 0
I I love I do love the Valentine times. Dairy, dare you say that again. Valent Speaker 2
derek can't say it. Speaker 0
Balance types? No. The saving? That that's a good one. Jeff brings up in the live chat. The bloopers between coach and Riley are the best. They are they are pretty great. Speaker 0
And then, hot take from awesome. Coach and Gail should have hooked up I mean, honestly, it was like Speaker 0
No. What? Oh, go go ahead. Defend your defender man. Speaker 3
It's not a case of defending him. It's a case of I have a different ship that I like much better, even though it will never happen. Speaker 3
And It just I don't know. When I see people it when I see people kinda ship those two, I just think of the stronger ships that we have for Gail, like Gail and Dickens, and then Gail and Alexander, like, There's Speaker 4
That is a good point. Speaker 3
It she doesn't need to be the person who is with every single person. You know what I mean? I don't it would almost cheapen the friendship that they have. Speaker 0
Yeah. You make a good point, but you can still, like, fuck without being shipped. So Well, yeah. I'm just saying. Speaker 3
You know what? My main reasoning is me crossing my arms and going because I said so. Speaker 0
That that's very ill. That's a good argument. So so who do you ship with Gucci then? Speaker 3
I am very much a coach and tennis shipper. Speaker 2
That's Trunk seven. Speaker 0
Oh, yikes. Yeah. Yeah. What what was that? What what season was that episode when they were, like, rebuilding the IRS? Speaker 2
That was prostate. Speaker 3
I was crossed in. Speaker 0
Oh, no. When they were rebuilding Speaker 3
Oh, when they were rebuilding the Irish. Speaker 2
I was just looking. It's nine, I believe. Speaker 3
Yeah. I wanna say that. Speaker 0
Yeah. That that that's a good episode. Speaker 0
My I I I would see it. That was my guess for your favorite episode, though, actually, by the way, It was today? Speaker 3
Like, when I was kind of reviewing Speaker 2
It's actually seven. Speaker 2
was probably vaguely. Speaker 2
guys get the Irish back together. Speaker 3
It it's really high up there on my list of favorite episodes, and they're chemistry is so good. It would not be a functional relationship. I feel like it'd be to a move, like, Unovable forces, but Speaker 3
At the same time, I think it'd be a lot of fun to watch. Speaker 2
That could be a spin off later on. Speaker 3
And, I mean, I'm gonna root for the Mohawk Girl. Speaker 0
I mean, you have to. Speaker 0
You have to, though. I mean, who doesn't root for tennis She scares me. So but who doesn't? Speaker 2
You know, Benelian, I'll definitely rooting for her. Speaker 0
Definitely. We'll move to Joey. Joey, what's your favorite episode? One of your favorite episodes. Speaker 2
It's tough. Yeah. Valentine times is definitely probably in the top five. I I asked you the other day, Cass here. I guess you mentioned last week's with the ladies night that, you know, would you go Day Beers Day? Or Century Club, and I would have one hundred percent Du Day Beard Day, over Century Club. And that, like, you mentioned just sunshine, drinking beers, hanging out, music, dancing, like, that sounds phenomenal. And then ain't no reason to get excited like episode one season one. It just sets the whole tone for the whole season. It's I'm pretty sure what his roke everybody into the series. Like almost anybody we interview is like, oh, I saw the clip on Facebook or YouTube or blah blah blah. It's like, that intro. Speaker 0
Yeah. That that's, like, iconic, like, cold open, like, for any show. Not not not just what For Speaker 2
pilot episode, that's a great episode. Speaker 2
But I think I gotta go with prostate. As anyone. Yeah. It definitely has not everybody interacting, but almost everybody's in it. Physical acting between, like, coach, Tyson and Wayne, where they're, like, just in pain, just, like, cringing and just like, uncomfortable. It's fantastic. Glenn, as the nurse, is one of the funniest jobs he could have. And being called speculum. Speaker 3
It all speculum? Speaker 2
Your name in high school. Speaker 0
Yeah. That's probably my favorite, like, Glen episode, honestly. That are relationships, but Speaker 2
the It's so good. Speaker 0
It it's probably that one is is my favorite Glen episode. Speaker 2
And then just a random casting of Darren Rose, he played the doctor very well. And I it I think he we'd found out that he pretty much improv, like, the glove misuse. Like, that was just fantastic. He added that himself. And then Tannis and, Shania coming in and giving everybody a lesson and to nut up and not be a bunch of pussies, was just great. Because, like, the cringing and everything, I could totally see so much of the viewership letter. Can any people at home and just like, ew, what? Because, like, they had no idea what a cervix was. Speaker 1
Do I have one of those? Speaker 2
And I believe, Mark Ford mentioned it in our interview with him as well, but last night, he was saying and he mentions the bloop or two of he and, Jared Kiso, just not keeping it together. When they're sitting in those chairs in the waiting room, It just could not like, the blue bar on that was just they couldn't do it. Speaker 3
Where they just start yelling random shit? Speaker 2
Yeah. And he was saying, like, during clips with Jared, like, he just has, like, look at his shoulder. He, like, can't look him in the face because he's saying as soon as he, like, stiffens up, little thumbs in the, in the belt loops, pockets. Speaker 2
Like, does the ice squint? Mark's like, I can't look at him. And it's it's just awesome. Seeing seeing those behind the scenes, the bloopers, and everything, or some of, like, my favorite parts of, like, any shows that come out, You know, like, back in the nineties and two early two thousands when movies at the end would play bloopers. Like, those are some of the best parts of the whole movie. Speaker 3
Oh, I do love that. Speaker 2
Yeah. So I love them. Speaker 0
Yeah. That's probably one of my favorite episodes from that season. But, Cassie, what do you think? What do you think about that episode? Speaker 3
It's on I'd say it's pretty high on my list of favorite episodes, not for the reason you think, like, have some faith in me. Speaker 2
That's when college was soon, and he lost all his weight that season. Speaker 3
Yeah. Yeah. That's true. Speaker 2
All the James jokes. Speaker 3
Oh, he's always been looking pretty good. Sorry. This this is not what I I mean to be bringing to this company. Speaker 0
He was looking very good. Speaker 3
What I really like about that episode, and I feel like, you know, it was sort of maybe meant to be a parody of the kind of like after school special that we'd see a lot of, especially growing up. But it didn't feel after school especially because I find with after school specials, they're very Like, they try to make it a normal episode, but then hits with like some really some real heaviness, but they put in enough levity. That it never felt that way. It was never awkward. And I think, like, Joey said, like, everybody interacts in such an interesting way that, you know, I Yeah. I I just love it. I'm kind of babbling, but I I really do love that episode. I really wish we could see more of Darren Rose, Just in general, I think he brought something really kinda interesting to that role. Speaker 0
Yeah. Yeah. What what about you, Eliza? Speaker 4
I also really, really love this episode. I remember the first time I watched it, I was like cackling, laughing. I thought it was so funny. Like, this is definitely one of the funniest episodes. In Letter Kenny. And, again, yeah, like, there's, like, the real topic that, like, was actually educational. It's like they do a lot throughout the series. But this was it was it was an important topic and I loved I also love seeing faces. When they were getting their exams done, and I thought that was just done beautifully in the episode. And yeah, nope. I really liked the episode. Speaker 0
What about you, Sykes? What do you think about the prostate episode? Speaker 5
I remember watching it for the first time. In like a really shitty room and I think my neighbors could hear me. Dream laughing. That's great. I think it's, like, It's a really good episode. It's a stand out for sure. And I'm not sure if they've taken it off the official letter Kenny merchandise store, but there is a there was t shirt, which had all of their faces. I nearly bought that. Speaker 0
Yes. I'm I'm pretty I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure they did take it off. Seven I I don't remember seeing that any, but Speaker 2
Another thing with the episode too. Sorry, Chad. Is it really showcases Katie's authority as like, the sister in between her and Wayne. She's like, Wayne does all, like, you know, the physical labor around the house. Katie is really the one that, like, takes care of everything else. She's like, get your ass to the doctors, you know, figuring all this, like, get going, putting him in his place, make sure he's getting everything done. I think that's just, again, just kinda creating a little bit more backstory and stuff to to their relationship. With the absence of parents and direction and any adults in town, except I guess a doctor. Speaker 0
Yeah. That's I've that's probably one episode where we get most of their backstory. I'm pretty sure. That one and Dairy's birthday, like, the super soft birthdays that you get most of their, like, bad story in that. But that's that's Oh, Speaker 2
and then when is this the between us girls? Between us girls? Speaker 3
I love that line. Speaker 0
Who's your who's your favorite character in this episode? Speaker 2
think it's gotta be Glenn. Like, he's just his physical acting is great. He likes scurry's over. Like, when the speculum thing is my nickname in high school. He's always asking Darren Rose the doctor for, like, do you need a hand in there? And then when he just, like, bends over to get the filing the file out of the cabinet Mhmm. It's just So good at the theatrical acting and stuff. It's crazy. One thing last night too was, Mark mentioned how like, they're all all them are just, like, one side of the camera. And, obviously, Jared, Jared does both sides, but then Jacob will, you know, say, like, throughout filming just that episode. He's going back and forth between directing and acting. And saying he's just gotta, like, kinda shit directing and bringing him the acting and everything and just nails it. Speaker 2
Because he directed every single episode of Letter Kenny. Honestly, it Speaker 3
would be really funny to imagine him directly in the the nurse's outfit from prostate. Speaker 2
Yeah. Because, like, he's gotta go back and forth. Like, that's gotta be tough to Mhmm. Granted at least it's, you know, season nine or ten. So let's His his authority as director is certainly established, but I mean, yeah, if something goes wrong or he, like, gets angry or whatever, in his nurse's outfit? Like, how are you gonna react to that? Speaker 0
How can you take this man seriously? Speaker 3
Put your middleweight Exactly. Speaker 0
Well, what's your favorite scene slash moment in this this episode? Speaker 2
I think something I don't know if it's my favorite, but one obviously, big point out is a solo close-up of the three guys, three guys, four guys, face reactions to the finger in their bum. Like, that's not something you typically see. In TV shows or Speaker 6
anything and Mhmm. Speaker 2
Something Billy Butchery and Jake and Terry are so great at is just trying new things that really, really work well. Did great physical reactions by the four of them. And they're all each different too. Like, nobody had the same thing. Speaker 0
Then that that is probably one of my favorite moments in the that episode. We'll move on to Eliza if you got nothing else to say about the episode. Speaker 2
Good. Good. What? Speaker 0
What what, Eliza, what's your favorite episode? Okay. Speaker 4
So I had such trouble picking. My first reaction was, like, a fuss at the golf course because that's been my favorite episode, like, forever since, like, I was on the first Speaker 4
Since, like, the first time I was gonna produce Dan, like, that was my favorite episode. But I, like, feel like I'm just, like, used to saying that. Like, that's just like what pops to my brain. So I was like, no. I recently rewatch the whole series. I have like a fresher look. So I, like, kinda went through all the episodes. Just like reading the descriptions and wrote down a few. And I was kind of in between four. I was in between in a two in it, Day Beers Day, American Buckando, and Saint Perfect's Day. In between all of these, but I decided DayBier's day is my favorite. Daveier. Daveier's. Yes. Yes. I rewatched it. I'm just a little bit ago. I love that as, like, they're all drinking. I love it when Wayne drinks it's so funny. Letter Kenny, like, coming together to, like, and, like, there's, like, epic, like, epic moment in, like, Letter Kenny history when, like, everyone at the end of said, like, everyone that goes, to help Katie. I loved, like, the cold open with, like, Riley and Jonesie and their compression type And I'm making that sound, found about their underwear, their bags underwear. I thought that was so good. I love that, how Wayne was like reading the book. Like, turning the pages really fast and it was bugging Rosie. And of course, him and Rosie, like, got official, which of course, like, just makes me so happy.
Speaker 2
Everything's sitting out.
Speaker 4
Yeah. Super, super cute. Makes Yeah. Just makes my heart melt. And then of course, like, when, they're all, day be or day, and they make Murray's talking about their swinging stories at the same time, that always gets me. They used to make me really uncomfortable, but I've, like, grown to love them a lot. And yeah. It's kind of my thoughts on Dayberry's Day.
Speaker 2
Oh. I like in Daybyers. They're not in Daybyers, but later in, like, season eleven. I think when they sit in the back of the truck, talk about the best Donny brooks, and they make the comment of, like, yeah, it's really, really cool that everybody was off work that day.
Speaker 0
Uh-huh. Yeah. Yeah. Like, in the next in the next season's in the next episode, technically, like, everybody's yeah. We were just all off of work there. That was great. What Yeah. What what do you think? What do you think about, debut today, their Sykes?
Speaker 5
Oh god. I haven't watched it in forever, but I think it's a popular opinion that when they're rushing, who Durks' property, that scene is stuck in my head, like, tattooed into my brain forever. It's
Speaker 5
This is absolutely good. It feels feeling. And I guess it's kind of like, like, a full circle moment, I guess. I don't know. I'm bad at words.
Speaker 2
No. It totally is. They Wayne mentions, like, I think Gayle mentions it. Everybody mentions it. Like, If you step out of line, dude, like, we're all coming for you. Mhmm. And they all come for him.
Speaker 0
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What what about you, Joe?
Speaker 2
And the song choice? It was fantastic.
Speaker 0
Yeah. What what what do you think about the conversations?
Speaker 2
Love it. Like I mentioned before, like it's definitely one of my top ones as well. Just, yeah, the whole chilling out in good weather drinking beers. I forgot, like, kinda what else is in there because, yeah, it's eight years' day, so that's a point I remember. Well, I from that cold open because I forgot what that was too. So thank you, Elijah, for mentioning it. Mhmm. The the underwear, the compression tights, all I could think of is mad earlier in this podcast talking about hit the sacks
Speaker 0
on where they got this.
Speaker 2
It's dropping sitting in there nicely. So all I could ever picture is fucking Matt talking about his underwear.
Speaker 0
Oh, fuck. Well, fuck you mad for that. K.
Speaker 2
Giving the lasting impression, Matt. Yeah.
Speaker 0
Thanks for that, that mental picture there, Matt. Fuck you. Cathy, what do you what do you think about Davey today?
Speaker 3
Oh, I'm gonna come in here with a hot take, and I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2
Are you the Victor tonight?
Speaker 0
Are you okay, Victor? Calm down.
Speaker 3
I'm not smart enough to be the Victor. I'm not smart enough to be Victor. I will say, like, this is kind of a I don't even wanna say it's accomplice assault, but just, like, ride this vibe with me, will you? Well, here. Generally, generally speaking. I whatcha doing? I'm not a big fan of Daybyers Day. I kind of see it as a filler episode. It's one of the ones you put in the corner, like, if I had to skip an episode, it would be one of them. However, the reason I don't see it as a filler, and I actually will watch it is because of when they come together in the end. Like, that, honestly, saves the whole episode for me.
Speaker 0
I mean, it's it's probably one of the biggest moments in, like, letter Kenny. So
Speaker 3
Absolutely. It's
Speaker 0
a pretty big moment.
Speaker 3
And, like, I I will say, like, you guys, like, picking out different parts of it that I'd kind of forgotten were in it. Kinda highlighted that like, okay. Maybe I need to go back and watch it with, like, my new glasses on with, an tainted eyes because there are a lot of good things in it, but just like when I'm looking at the episode list, like, when I just want a quick hit of letter, Kenny, Dayabier's day is not what I would go for. Daveier's Speaker 2
definitely reiterated the produce and portal, though. This is true. Our episode driving down there. And then out of nowhere, the other ten of them just snap happened to be there when she shows up. Speaker 0
At the at the exact same time, all not all drinking and being able ready to fight. Speaker 2
Yeah. Because then there were, like, two or three DDs. Speaker 0
And and crossed the board with no. No problems. Speaker 4
they took the portal. They took our other portal. Speaker 0
Oh, yeah. Okay. Uh-huh. Speaker 4
That's the headquarters. Speaker 4
Yeah. They picked the portal. Speaker 0
They picked the one awesome. Speaker 4
portal sobered them up a little. Speaker 3
Well, I guess what you're saying is without Daybeers Day, We, as the produce stand, avengers, we wouldn't have our our backstory. We wouldn't have our mode, etcetera. Speaker 2
Yeah. Yeah. Eventers is a bit strong. Speaker 3
I'm cleaning it, man. Speaker 0
Alright. Give me the Speaker 2
If I remember the pros, if I remember the pros, then then, like, the normal tech over teams, like, the minor leagues or, like, senior AAA. Speaker 0
Will, shit, all the same. Speaker 3
Will shit, all the same. Speaker 4
Well, shit. I think with this episode, like, the reason you can't just, like, watch just this episode is because you have to immediately watch American Buckendow right after. Speaker 3
Okay. Well, that's fair. Speaker 4
Like, you have to, like, you have to go right into, like, Katie's wrap and everything, which is that's why that's also on my list. I kinda wanted to say both of them together But, like, no. I'll just pick one, like, but American buck and doe, like, you have to, like, go right into watching it. So I think that's why, like Yeah. Speaker 1
That's a good point. Speaker 0
I I I like that. I think I think that's probably my favorite, like, letter, Kenny, like, what's what am I trying to think of? The show just ends. Why did I just blink on the knee? Speaker 0
Cliff hanger. Thank you. That's probably my favorite letter Kenny cliffhanger where it just kinda just like, oh, they're gonna go beat the shit out of And then they just the next episode just kinda like, oh, yeah. Beat the shit out of them instead of actually showing them Mhmm. Which was kinda cool, which was kinda nice. Speaker 4
And I made the connection today that, they and the her wrapped, she says, like, how they broke his arm, And, like, later on when we see him again, he has his arm in a cast, and that never clicked for me for some reason. Speaker 2
I guess I didn't listen Speaker 2
Voca listen to the vocals. I don't know. Yeah. Speaker 4
Yeah. Every time I watch it, I pick up something new, and I just pick that up today. Speaker 0
So Well, the more the more Speaker 2
Well, I will say. Better countries. You can just watch rewatch rewatch rewatch and you'll find something new every time. Speaker 3
Okay. Y'all have given me a new appreciation for Davey's day. Speaker 0
There we go. Yeah. No. That's why we did this. Speaker 4
That's what this podcast does. Speaker 0
That's why we did this. Well, we'll go with, the next question here. Who's your favorite character in this episode? Speaker 4
Oh, no. You're cutting out. Speaker 0
Oh, am I? Am I cutting out? Speaker 4
My favorite character is Rosie. Can you hear me? Speaker 0
Yes. Yes. We can. You you Yeah. You're you're back. Speaker 4
Okay. So now my favorite character is Rosie. Just like the little scenes with her in this episode, like her and Wayne sitting outside reading, And then their conversation about pants versus pants, and just kind of how she, like, like, he was trying to say, well, you can a pants and she showed him you can't. And I thought, I was like, yeah, put Wayne in his place a little bit, like, and then, like, when Marie Fred shows up at the door and like Rosie just like walks out in her underwear. I'm like, yeah, hell yeah, girl, girl power, like, love it. So that's really all her little moments throughout the episode. Speaker 0
Yeah. She's she's pretty great in this episode. Who what's your favorite scene slash moment? Speaker 4
K. So I think, I guess, obviously, like, when they're running up to the house. But I also really think like the cold open was pretty funny. With the compression parts. And so I think but actually, no. My no. No. No. My all time favorite moment was Heman Rose the outside on the bench. With the books and, yeah, that's I just I thought that part was so cute and, like, I just it'd be my heart happy. So Speaker 0
So that's that's a good one. That's a good one. You, you got anything else you wanna say about this episode? Episode. Oh. Speaker 4
I am good. Thank you. Speaker 0
Alright. Randall, we're moving into you. What's your favorite episode? Speaker 5
W's twelve baby. Speaker 0
Oh, there we go. There we go. We got one. Speaker 5
filled to the brim with kind of like the staples of what makes a great letter Kenny episode from like the Speaker 0
Can I can I pause you for a real quick second? Can you, speak up a little bit louder? Speaker 0
Please. Thank you. Get up real close to that mic. Speaker 5
I will press the microphone. Awesome. Speaker 0
There you go. There you go. Now continue. Speaker 5
There we go. Okay. So as I was saying, it has, like, the staples of what makes a great Letter Kenny episode, and it's It's, like, everything from the gorgeously shot on ice montages and, like, the playfully written character dynamics that really make Letticany feel so lived in. And I am a sucker for linear plots that actually means something. Speaker 2
So like Victor. Victor loves a story. Speaker 5
Like, yeah. Like, It starts off with, like, a great cold open with McMurray touting as five point one five in pride and joy, which by clinical definition is a, one hundred percent average sized penis Speaker 1
One hundred percent. Speaker 5
And it just kicks in, like, straight to the point, kinda wanting to buy the eagles and having this conversation with the Eagles coach who we then later have more to do with in the next season. But It's very Speaker 5
I love it. And I think a lot of it has to do with how it incorporates everyone. Like, yeah, it's it's not a there's not much of the hits in there, but there is a lot to do with hockey. And I also wanna point out the, the music choices in the episode as well. Like, I am a die hard, def from above fan, and a block party fan. So gearing, right on Frankenstein on the moonlight and the box, stand tall. I was just jamming, jamming for that episode. And, yeah. I love this episode a lot. Not good with words, as I said, again. Speaker 3
You are working just fine. Speaker 0
You're doing good ways. Speaker 2
That's the one with, like, the eighties style, like, montage of, like, getting the game back together and stuff. Right? We're gonna need Yeah. We're gonna need this. We're gonna need this. We're gonna need people with some veterans. And, right? Speaker 2
Then he goes to, Mary Ann and Betty Ann. Speaker 0
And that was that was a good moment. Speaker 5
Yeah. At the gym. Oh, god. Speaker 2
was just such a good episode. What Speaker 0
do you think about this episode there, Cassie? Speaker 3
Yeah. Randall's got it completely right. It's got some of my favorite quotes and favorite moments, from the series. I specifically love and I pointed this out in my best of coach episode. I'm sorry. I don't mean for everything I say to be in coach related. I promise. Speaker 2
just happened. No way. Speaker 3
Yeah. It just so happens. When coach says that they have to go back to the gym. And Hannah's fine. We've we've already been there, and coach replies what like matching her energy. Well, we're there when we were there. Like, I don't know why, but and I'm so sorry anybody wearing headphones who just had to hear me hear that or say that. But I just love that and it further cements my Maybe not so popular shipping of them because you definitely see how that relationship would work out. But beyond that Speaker 3
Randall, honestly, some they summed it up really, really well. Like, it's just a very strong episode. It's everything we've come to love about Letter Kenny. Speaker 2
Really great too. Like, Randall, you mentioned that, like, it's not very hick heavy, like, at all. But that just goes to show kind of the strength of Letter Kenny and the rest of the cast that, like, you don't need the Hicks, like, This letter Kenny is for social groups. And, like, the three of the the, I guess, this is the one of them, can carry it. No problem. Speaker 0
Yeah. Yeah. The this this one I I, like, I I remember a bit of, and it is a good episode because it is, like, isn't this the one where they, like, find out that, like, the other hockey guys are all play for the Eagles now or something like that. And they're like, oh, you know what I'm saying? The Was Speaker 2
that the end of it when they were having, like, the meeting in the hallway? Speaker 0
Yeah. Or something like that. Speaker 2
The people show up. Speaker 5
No. That's actually the star in it to win it. Oh, that's Yes. Speaker 2
At the end. Scholsey and boomtown and Speaker 0
Yeah. Oh, those guys. Yes. Okay. Okay. I remember a bit of this episode. It's been a minute since I've done a rewatch. So But, yeah. Well, what what do you what do you think about this episode? Yeah. I I do need to do a rewatch. What do you think about the episode there, Eliza? Speaker 4
Mhmm. I'm kind of in the same boat as you where I need to do a rewatch. Like, I recently redid the whole series, but like my mind's kind of blinking right now. And so, but I I would do remember, like, the dynamics between tennis and coach. And I actually kinda see, like, where you ship them. Cassie, like, I absolutely see that, like, kind of, like, that glimpse of it earlier in the show when you said, oh, like, that you shipped them. And my head, I was kinda, like, I I do not see that at all. But then just, like, hearing that little bit, like, sparks the memory. And I'm like, actually, yeah, like, I could see it a little bit, but, like, I just, like, I'm trying to figure out, like, I think she would be, like, the more, like, dominant one, I guess, in the relationship. But, like, I feel like he would also have his moments. I'm trying to think of, like, how their dynamic would be, and it's interesting to think about. So you gave me something to think about, Cassie. Speaker 3
Oh, yay. This makes me so happy. Hong Kong, the cruise ship is coming into the harbor. Speaker 0
Joey walked away before I could ask him, but it sounded like he really enjoyed this episode. Randall, who's oh, he's back. Joey, what what do you what do you think about this episode? Speaker 2
Yep. No. Everything everything everyone's been saying really is on point. It's really good. Definitely like coach. She's kinda like taking the reins and still maniacal. He's still definitely a little crazy. Not quite spelling bee crazy, but he's still definitely a little crazy. Speaker 0
Yeah. But he's up there. Speaker 0
Yeah. Who who's your favorite, character in this episode? There's, like, Speaker 5
Personally, it's kind of a tie because you guys have all, like, hit the nail on the head when talking about like coach Tannis's character dynamic and their relationship, like, in this episode, because, like, both forward and corner, like, on their a game. And it's kind of a shame because it's really the one episode maybe other than prostate that we act actually get those two in the same room interacting with each other. And it's kind of something that's left underutilized. I would have loved to see have seen that more because I feel like there's so much you can do of it. Speaker 5
just so fun. I love it. And but for me, it's it's possibly coach. One hundred percent. I'm I'm a coach ride or die just like like Cassie. But he he has so many highlights, especially like the bitter biscuits Speaker 5
gets like and his little, His little misogynistic rant at the gym between, like, Marion and Betty Ann, and you have tennis rolling her eyes. He's just losing it. He's just, like, making himself laugh. Speaker 5
I love when they explore his character. That I think that's why Toch is my favorite character in the episode because we get to see a little bit more to him Yeah. Than what we have previously in it. Saying as well. And I love it when he's crazy. That's why he's the most fun. Speaker 0
Yeah. He's he's good when he's unhinged. They they also apparently And Speaker 3
I wouldn't hear. Speaker 0
Go ahead. Gekassa. Speaker 3
Oh, go ahead, Chuck. Oh, I Speaker 0
I was gonna say they they're also interact. Quite a little bit in the Acoya episode in season eleven as well. Speaker 3
Oh, sorry. I'll get this out of the so I don't keep jumping on people. I would posit that the writing is so good because basically and, like, Sykes brings up a really good point with the misogynistic rant. There are people like that who exist, especially in the the hockey world, honestly. Like, I don't wanna be like, as a female hockey player, because, like, I, I have one season under my belt. I've seen it. I've heard And yeah, like coach is a very hyperbolic version of it, to the point of parody, but that's what he's meant to be. That's how I feel like the writing staff, and it was probably honestly Keith so and forward who wrote that, apologies if, Speaker 3
know, I'm missing writers on that one. But I feel like what they're really picking at and what they're going for is to point out how ridiculous it is by taking it to the nth degree of like, heard verbally, honestly. Speaker 2
Yeah. Awesome. And, Zach pointed out too. This was the episode where, during the montage, poaches, like, we're getting the band and give one shot and one opportunity or whatever that talking singer says. Mom spaghetti. Speaker 3
Mom it on your mom's spaghetti. Speaker 0
Yeah. What's your favorite, moment slash scene in this episode there? Speaker 5
You guys just quoted it. Speaker 5
of the plate of the pieces in place, but we only got one shit one shot at this one chance, one win, you know, vomit on your mom's spaghetti or whatever that singer says is my most quoted line in the series, but it's also my most favorite line in the series, especially from cut. Speaker 3
Boom. There it is. Speaker 5
He's the type of person or type of character to have, like, having little idea as to who M and M is, but has most likely seen eight miles. Speaker 0
Alright. Nice. You got you got anything else to add to this episode? Speaker 5
No. I think I'm I'm thinking pretty good. Thanks. Speaker 0
I I guess it's I guess it's my chair now, and I gotta ask myself the questions. So my My favorite episode is quite obvious, and it should have been a unicorn episode. It's, sleepover. It's it's just, like, it's Probably my most like it's like a comfort episode. It's it's I like it. As I was watching it getting ready for this, I was like getting a little anxious about doing all this. And then I watched it and I was like, oh, yeah. I just wanna cut off at a blinking and just, you know, chill out with them. It's easily one of my favorite, like, just chill moments. And I you get pretty much like the main cast except for squirrely Dan. But, you know, he's he's off with his getting a finger up his bum with by his woman. So and it's Speaker 2
What, which group are you, like, most akin to? Speaker 0
Oh, probably the It's just probably the kids because we're sitting down in the basement watching Lord of the Rings and then passing out. Speaker 2
And not up all night watching hockey night in Canada. Speaker 0
Yeah. I'm I'm not a hockey guy, so I I don't I don't not gonna be there. And, I mean, I food bars. Not all. I'm Speaker 0
And and I'm not gonna I'm not Speaker 1
Who do you like? Who do you like? Light like. Who do you like? Speaker 0
That's that's probably probably it's easily my favorite episode. And This is also it gives me a good excuse to talk about it more since Victor kinda ruined that episode. And I appreciate about, I appreciates that about, trace for making it fresh. So for me. Well, Speaker 2
the favorite scene. Speaker 0
I mean, we'll go run to you guys. Like, what what's what's your pre what do you guys think about this episode? Speaker 4
I love this episode so much. It's definitely in my top five. I feel like I could kinda be with like I could fit in with, like, any of the groups at their sleepovers. I could be playing board games all night. I could be just, like, sitting there gossiping, Like, I could be watching TV. I could be, like, yeah, I could do all of it. So, and I have, like, sleepovers all the time. What? Speaker 4
Yeah. Exactly. Actually, yes. That is that's happened many times that sleepovers I've had. I still have sleepovers with my best friends to the say, even though we're all adults and Speaker 0
Yeah. Well, yeah. Speaker 2
So, yes. They're just usually drunk and they're changing their home. Speaker 4
Yeah. I mean, that's kind of I mean, we plan it that way though. Speaker 4
But yeah. No. It's a super, super great episode. It makes me very, very happy. It's like when am I go to, like, if I wanna, like, watch Letter Kenny, I'll go put that on. Speaker 2
If anything, that's, like, like Chad said, the comfort one, and it's sleeping, but, like, that's a good one too, like, fall asleep too. Speaker 4
Mhmm. Absolutely. Speaker 0
Yeah. I and it just kinda Speaker 0
ends, like, so happily that they're, like, all, like, oh, they're all gonna go, like, hang out, like, Right. Right. Like, Riley and Jones, he goes to the hit up. They hit up Bonnie McMurray, but then they go, well, we're here in Kelsey. So We'll go. And then I mean, the only the only sad ending is is is Stewart as he bikes past Bonnie, But right. Right. So then you get that, like, the what what the ship that, like, the relationship that, like, was always there, but never really happened a lot was always, like, Darren Bonnie, and it, like, they were you get that, like, a nice moment between them. And then you do get And then at the end there, when, when Rosie shows up to Wayne and just takes it off and just get just wearing your bra and you're like, oh, oh, oh, oh, and then it ends and you're like, oh, this is just happy moment. This is just a happy episode. Victor. I know you don't you're not gonna listen to this, but it's a happy episode. Speaker 2
You can also tell they're all Canadian because, like, here in America or at least here in Colorado, if you were already with somebody and everybody already fell asleep and woke back up, You're just staying there. You're not going back out to change houses that you're in. I mean Like, in the middle of winter? Speaker 2
You're not going out in that cold, especially the ride in your bike? Speaker 0
That's that's a brave move. That's a brave move. Sykes Speaker 3
That's fair. Yeah. Speaker 0
Sykes. Wait. What do you think? What do you think? Speaker 5
I feel like the winter seasons get a bad rep because I remember when this episode came out, like, the whole season came out, but people specifically called sleep of a boring, but it's just so cozy and sweet and nice. It's it's fame. It's gotten like it was kind of like bagged when it first came out. But I feel like I've I was kind of on the same boat, but I digress. I think I've grown like a a lot more of a greater appreciation for it. And Wayne and Katie have the same guilty pleasure watch as I do and that's Jackos. Speaker 2
Jackos is always like a good group. Show movies to watch. Like, late night, just falling asleep to it, laughing your ass off with each other. Speaker 0
Yeah. Yeah. What what what about you Barb there, Cassie? Why did I just call you Barb? Why did I do that? Speaker 3
Gosh. Here we come with the villain era again. Speaker 0
One second. One second. Where's that button? Where is it? Speaker 6
This conversation's fast becoming a confrontation. Speaker 3
I'm not gonna be as extreme as Victor was on it though. Speaker 3
what I did there? Speaker 2
what you did there. Speaker 3
Sort yourself out. This Hey. No editorializing with the sound board, dude. Speaker 0
I I can do whatever I want. I mean, this this power. Speaker 6
I regret nothing. Speaker 0
Anyway, go ahead. Speaker 3
I bet he regrets everything. Joking aside, though. Joking aside, it's one of the episodes just like Day Beers Day where Speaker 3
or less forget that it exists. But then again, hearing you guys talk about it, I I pick out these little highlights and moments. I'm like, oh, yeah. That was pretty good. Oh, yeah. That was pretty good. Speaker 2
Say, shouldn't say nothing at all. Dad's channeling his inner owl from last week where he didn't start using the soundboard till the end. Speaker 3
Honestly. He's playing me off. What the hell? Caddling her. Speaker 0
I'll keep going. I'll stop. How's that? Speaker 3
Okay. Will you though? Will you? So this is what stand up comedians feel like when they're being heckled. Speaker 2
Oh, there were some last night, and Mark was getting a shit. Speaker 3
But you're not being efficient, because I would've had my session done and open it. Sorry. So like, off the hop, if you're like, hey, sleepover. What do you think of it? I'm like, it's boring. It's, you know, there's nothing happening. It's a filler episode. But just like when you, like, take it apart and look at all the little pieces, you're like, wait a minute. No. There's actually some really good stuff here. And I don't think an episode needs to be It doesn't need to, like, carry the whole story along sometimes. Sometimes you want those cozy slice of life day to day moments because Speaker 3
know, at the beginning and end of the day, that's what letter Kenny's all about. Speaker 2
Wish you weren't so fucking awkward, bub. Speaker 3
love you too, Chad. Speaker 0
So I'll I'll keep going, I guess. My favorite character here in this episode is, Dairy. I you know, like him just sitting there like, Wayne. Speaker 1
Wayne, who do you like? Speaker 0
He's like, There, you don't Wayne's in a relationship. You know that already. Speaker 2
Yeah. She's she's a pretty good one. Speaker 0
Yeah. Like, he's already, you know, relationship. You know this already, Derek. Quit quit asking him, like, who he likes? But, yeah, there there's probably That's Speaker 3
why it's so funny. Speaker 0
Yeah. There there's probably my favorite in this episode. And, yeah, I mean, everybody else is pretty good. Like, I mean, Gail's great with the, like, the seven farts. Like, Speaker 1
you woke me up with a fart. It was Speaker 2
I was just like, I've been up since the first one. Speaker 1
I'm gonna wait just the first one. Speaker 0
How many first was it? Seven. It's that many. It's a this it's like it's like it's just a great episode. And then, yeah, like and then fire, like, my favorite moment slash scene, it's it has to be when Dairy wakes up Wayne. But, like, honorable Benson has to be, like, Gail. Like, Gail waking up rosy and Bonnie with farts. That that is just excellent. Speaker 4
That's my all time favorite scene in that episode because my friend has done that to us multiple times. So, like, I've literally lived that before for. And so, yep, that's my favorite for sure. Speaker 2
Randall, you didn't mention, which group you were Speaker 2
Typically. You kinda associate with end of sleepover. And then Cassie, you're after. Speaker 5
Hicks most likely. Speaker 2
I was just watching Jackass. All in one bet. Speaker 5
And, also, when they're playing monopoly from memory, Speaker 0
Yes. Yes. They were playing monopoly at first. Speaker 2
Oh, yeah. They're down in the kitchen. Speaker 0
Mhmm. And then they they go with, Puppers and or was it Gusen brew? I think it was Gusen brew to go see Jack to go watch Jackass. Speaker 2
Mhmm. Cassie, what group are you associating with? Speaker 3
I'm scared. I see Chad circling the sound bored. I think if I'm being completely honest with myself, I'd be hanging out with the girls. And even as they're trying to, like, fall asleep, I would be pulling the dairy of, like, Do you like somebody? But, like, in hopes they'd ask me and, like, trying to shoe horn that into, like, every conversation, I'd be the most annoying slumber party attendee. I feel like, but Well, we're definitely Speaker 2
talking about yourself. Speaker 3
Oh, and Gary didn't know who Wayne liked. Speaker 0
That that was, that's the hilarious. Darry's like, who do you like? Speaker 2
The only my sweetie is pretty great. Speaker 3
The yeah. I definitely think I I'd be chilling with the girls. And as they're falling asleep, I'd be like, no, guys, like, tell ghost stories. Let's get the ouija board. Also, who do you like? Do you think anybody likes me? Oh, my gosh. And then I would be kicked out. Speaker 2
I think we're mistakenly undermining the role does it too. Oh, yeah. Strew it. Speaker 1
Stewart. Who do you like? Speaker 0
Yeah. Yeah. That's a Speaker 2
And then they fart and I think it transitions to the gale farting. Speaker 0
Yeah. I think I think Stewart fartes is that's who wakes up like everybody. It's a Stewart part. If I remember right, I mean, I should remember. I watched it, like, over a couple hours ago. So but Speaker 3
Yeah. Come on, man. Speaker 3
Yourself together. Speaker 0
One would one would think he I would remember, but I apparently forgotten in the past four hours of doing this. So, I got nothing else to add. So, kinda hit the rest of our other things. Let's just, Let's just move to final comments. So, Cassie, back to you. Speaker 3
Get your finger away from that sound board, dad? I know that's not my final thought. Speaker 0
Alright. Joe, your final thought. Speaker 3
This has been a lot of fun. Thank you so much for inviting me. Even if You're being a shit ass little brother right now. Here's the thing. If you don't leave that sound board alone, we're not going to be allowed to do takeovers again. And I really hope that we do get to come back. Partially so Exactly. Partially so that I can redeem myself from the, The gushing barbling I've been doing tonight. But this has been a lot of fun and Chad You have been an awesome host. I will always trust you to put together a takeover takeover team. Speaker 0
I takeover at as I like to call us even though I I don't know if that's actually the name we're gonna stick with, but Speaker 4
I like Takeoverets. Speaker 0
Alright. So it is Takeoverets. Alright. Joey, you've Speaker 2
Kiwi, whatever he's been to. Yeah. Thanks for putting this together. Randall, I mean, I'll trusted us, but, like, Randall, you trusted us to come on and just wing it. Speaker 2
So thank you very much. And, you know, thank you for adapting to the massive time zone difference. Really appreciate all your insight and everything. It was really great. I'm glad you liked all the episodes that we talked about, and sleepovers definitely should get a little bit more respect across the universe. Speaker 2
yeah, I think we all have good episodes, great clips and all that. But yeah, Chad, thanks very much. Speaker 2
really glad it worked out for me this week to be able to, to join. Speaker 2
in getting away, anything like that. So I'm stoked. Way to go, everybody. Speaker 4
Thank you so much for inviting me, Chad. You did a great job. Yeah, this was so much fun as but I've missed you guys at the produce stand. So I really wanna be back a little bit more frequently, because I miss you all. I had a blast tonight. I love, like, rewatching Letter Kenny and, like, doing my homework for the episodes. Like, I really miss doing that. Like, I have a huge note on my phone of, like, the four episodes I watched before this. So, like, try to pick which that when I wanted to talk about, And so I I just had a blast doing that, and I love you all. So, yeah, thank you guys. Speaker 0
And good. Thank you. Alyssa. Speaker 5
Thank you so much for inviting me on you guys. Like, everything for like, this was suggested like an absolute gloss I was super nervous to be on, to be honest. Speaker 0
Oh, you did great. Speaker 5
But you guys are Yeah. Speaker 1
You were awesome. Speaker 0
Just like you're Awesome. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, as awesome as awesome. Speaker 3
I see the live stream is calling out for more Randall in our lives. Yes. Speaker 5
Yeah. But, no, you guys are so chill, and I absolutely loved, like, hanging out, talking about the series with you all because I don't get to talk about it often, and it's really fun to, like, see, like, see diff people's other opinions, maybe they may have like. Maybe they'd like an episode that I don't, but that also makes me wanna go and watch it again to see. What they see, and then I'll find extra value on that. And I also got a day off work. Speaker 0
Nice. That's that's a that's a good reason. Speaker 5
Thank you so much for having me on again. Speaker 0
And, I'm I'm gonna thank you guys for thank you guys for trusting me. Speaker 3
The man asked you for help. You help him. Speaker 0
And I appreciate it. And that's what I where the fuck is it? Load thing. Speaker 6
That's what I appreciates about. Speaker 0
I appreciate it's about you you. I think you guys were for joining me in this takeover, this haas hostile takeover. Yeah, I thank you, Al, for, like, let actually trusting me with the podcast because Speaker 2
I Amber's on board. Speaker 0
The yeah. Like, wow. The sound board. I I was sure he was not gonna he was gonna be like, no, Chad, you can't you can't do it. You can't do it. He might take it Speaker 2
back after today. Speaker 0
Yeah. He he probably will, but, yeah, thank thank you guys for, like, trusting me and like doing this, you know, and stuff. So, what, oh, shit. Awesome. Coming back.
