Speaker 0
Well, there's one more game left to go. Can the Bulldogs finish twenty four and o? Will they complete the endeavor to be the best team ever? In the history of the whole no show. Speaker 1
Tanya, you ready? Yes. Speaker 2
Good. Because you're fucking going. Speaker 2
Yes. Yes, Nick, because you're fucking going. Speaker 1
Yay. Victor, you ready? Speaker 4
It's not a goldfish. Speaker 2
Good. Because you're Speaker 3
That fresh produce stand there. That's a beauty. Speaker 5
What do you use listen to? Speaker 4
My favorite murder podcast. Speaker 0
Taggart and Torrance podcast. Speaker 3
The produce stand. Speaker 3
It's Thursday, Thursday, Speaker 1
and that means we are once again hanging out at the produce stand. Speaker 3
The podcast will pay tribute Speaker 1
to every didn't die. Universe. Speaker 1
know what you're thinking. There are many other Kenny podcasts out there, but this one is going to be accountable. I am out your host, and joining me in the room as always is lovely Tanyon online. We have squirrely Matt. The very accountable Victor. And joining us this week, he is a fixer of go karts, a jack of all trades, a master of none, but still speak dial handyman on the phone belonging to your mom, and you'll find his number. Please join me in making some noise for Andrew. Speaker 3
Oh my god. I regret nothing. Speaker 1
Welcome back to the produce stand, Andrew. Speaker 1
Good day. How are you now? Speaker 6
Oh, not so bad. New? Speaker 1
It's not so bad. Speaker 0
So Holy fuck that up. Speaker 1
Yeah. That was Andrew's I I I asked the right question. Andrew messed it up. But, anyway, I think the more important thing than you being a fixer of Go Cards, Andrew, is where are you speaking to us from? Speaker 6
Oh, currently, I'm speaking to you from the, the land of awkward dumps and Squazers of Seguid. Speaker 1
What's it like? Yeah. Speaker 1
What's it like up in Wasega right now? Speaker 6
Oh, right now, it's, it's awkwardly cold and then awkwardly not. So everything's all soggy. It's it's great. Nice and moist up here. Speaker 0
We're almost in, like, the polar dump season. Right? Speaker 1
Yeah. Now, Andrew, this isn't your first time on. You're actually one of our contestants in in our last TPS match game. How how did you enjoy that? Speaker 6
That was a lot of fun. Speaker 1
And you and you're sporting your your parting gift there. Your TPS shirt. Looks great on you. Speaker 6
Thank you guys. I've been wearing it a lot at work. Speaker 1
So in case people don't people don't remember, yes, at the tone, represent ABC. And in case people don't remember, you know, how you got involved with Letter Kenny, why don't you remind us when did you first discover Letter Kenny? Speaker 6
Oh, I think it's either around, like, I wanna say season two, like, roughly about that when that came out. So almost a decade. Speaker 6
been, I've been watching Letter County, and then, Shoresy obviously. Gotta love that show. Fucking amazing show. Speaker 1
When they first mentioned was Seigon Shoresy, how did you react? Were you like Hey. I'm I live there. Speaker 6
It was one of those, like, little moments where my jaw hit the floor, and I started pissing myself lapping for about a good five. I had to rewind and go back to the whole fucking Michael's rant again. Speaker 6
You know, it was it was just great. And then I just, like, every like, from that point on, I was just keeping my ears open to see how many time it was gonna get mentioned. I think we got mentioned four five times in that season. Well, in the first two episodes, I'm like, oh, boy. Because, like, that whole I think that whole aqua dump thing came from It was a Facebook post. I'm pretty sure well, that's all started. Right? Some lady was like, some lady bitched in one of the community forums for the Sega Beach. Basically saying that I think she overheard two kids talking. And one of them said he was gonna take an aqua dump in the water. Right? And then it was, like, this whole thing of, like, that's fucking disgusting, like, you know, the whole train your kids, blah blah, you know, the regular Karen spiel on on Facebook, and it just blew up from there. I'm pretty sure that's the origin of that whole thing. I think. Speaker 1
Interesting. Now Speaker 5
Or maybe or maybe it was the the Shoresy said it first, and then all the kids wanted to be like, oh, yeah. Let's do it. Pull Shoresy. Speaker 6
Well, like, that was the thing though. Like, I I'm pretty sure that that came up, like, five, six years ago. Like, that Speaker 6
thing that went yeah. Like, I honestly remember reading it on Facebook, and I was like, what the fuck? And then I didn't really, like, hear about Till Shoresy brought it up, and I'm like, oh my fucking god. It caught on. Like, Speaker 1
you just never know. You never know what's gonna show up in a in a queso production. Speaker 5
How long have you guys those party huts. I I never saw them before. But mind you, we don't go out very often to the to the party beach. Speaker 6
It's many places. Honestly, me living in the beach, I don't even have much time to get out there myself. I might take the jet skis out, but I usually stay, like, in the river area. So I'm not sure how the party islands have been around, but, you know, I always assumed they were talking about, like, a pontoon boat. Like, somebody's, like, actual, like, full on party pontoon. Right. Speaker 1
Yeah. It's one of those, like, tiki floating tiki bars kind of thing. I think that's what they're referring to as a party island. Speaker 6
Yeah. So, like, yeah. Yeah. Like, I just kinda figured it was somebody's rental they were talking about. I show. But Speaker 1
Oh, we spent, yeah. Tanya says we don't go to Wasega very much which hilarious because it's not even not even a a an hour away from from us. But, yeah, this past summer, we did spend a fun weekend up there with some friends. Speaker 5
We were on the river actually. Speaker 1
Yeah. We spent all And that's the best way to experience with Sega, not on the beach, but out on the water looking at the beach because, man, that beach gets packed. Speaker 4
Yeah. Well, well, again, there's a there's a misnomer. Right? Like, it's that's Wasega's got five really nice speeches. And the first one is the one that you really wanna stay away from because that's where all the, you know, douchebags go. Speaker 4
But, like, beach, we we would go almost we I think we went every summer with kids because we went to, what is it? Little township? Or it's it's tiny. Tiny. Yeah. Tiny. Speaker 1
Oh, yeah. Tiny is fun. Speaker 4
So we we rented cottage there, like, air, re summer. And and we always went to the beach, but we not the beach. Right? Speaker 1
Yeah. That beach and tiny is really small, but awesome because it is small. And there's no people there. Speaker 4
It's just it's a private little beach. Oh, nice beach. And we went to that go cart, track all the time. So Speaker 1
Yeah. Actually, yeah. We we rented a cabin in tiny as well. Speaker 5
What's that this year? Across this year. Speaker 1
Across the road from that go car track and just just a bit down the road. So, yeah, we know exactly. We spent, a a fun time. Speaker 5
Oh, it was so much. Speaker 1
Anyway, Welcome, Andrew. And, I mean, we should have already started doing this. And and I didn't do the the unicorn or did I. I did do that. Okay. Here we go. So let's Speaker 1
Tonight's lineup, Tanya, Matt, Victor, Al, and our guest Andrew has last word. Tanya, how have you been? Speaker 5
Good. Because I'm going. Speaker 5
We had our anniversary. And we went to go see the bare naked ladies. Which was a great concert. It was a lot of fun that was up at casino Rama. And, yeah, we had a a good night. It was a lot of fun. We, had Arby's, of course, that was my, decision. Speaker 5
Alan was showing me some, crazy restaurant that has, like, two Michelin stars, and I was looking at the menu and and the, tasting menu. And I was like, yeah, no. Speaker 1
The tasting menu is like two hundred and fifty bucks. Speaker 5
It was two twenty five each. And I was Speaker 0
like Just to taste things. Speaker 5
Just to taste things. Like, eight different things. Speaker 1
Well, that's what you wanna do though in one of those restaurants. So the tasting menu, like, the chef brings you, like, just But, like, Speaker 5
the steak was, like, two slices off of a steak, and that was the steak. And I was, like, if you're gonna give me a steak, give me freaking steak. Like, I want all of the steak, not just You want Speaker 5
Yeah. I just I don't want like two little pieces for me to test and try the steak. No. I want a steak. Anyways, we decided or I said, let's not do that. Let's just go to arby's and have fun in different ways instead of just like consuming and copious amounts of money and pooping it. So anyways, so we we went to Arby's. I had my curly fries Speaker 1
And yes, of course, she did eat all of her curly fries. Speaker 5
I did. Oh my god. Yes. I did. Speaker 1
And Aaron says, how are the first few bites tasting? Oh. Well, if you're at one of those, Michelin our restaurants, the first few bites would be your meal. That would be That Speaker 1
Two bites in your cart. Speaker 5
Not that I'm not ever wanting to try it, but, like, so not wanting to try it when I'm I'm I'm money poor. So, yeah, maybe when maybe when the millions come my way, that's when I'll try it. Yeah. So we had a great night though, and we and we took out forty bucks, and we put it on black on the roulette wheel after, and we got up to two hundred, which was cool. And then, proceeded to lose it at a few other tables. So that was fun. And I'm pretty sure, we did see Justin Bieber at the, at the casino. There was a hat and a hoodie and a scarf, and there was some mustache and some tattoos. Speaker 1
Texas hold him table. Speaker 5
Texas hold him table. I'm like, pretty sure that's beaver. But it was really it's just so much fun to watch people. It it's it's crazy to watch people. Like, if you I don't know. It's my thing. It I missed going out and seeing and watching people and all the things that they do. It's just super interesting. So that was pretty much it. Oh, and Christmas shopping. Got some of that done. Speaker 1
Yeah. Just the season. Matt, how's your week been? Speaker 0
That was good. But really, I wanna just add on to that. Then we'd see the, some of the posts the sluts were sharing the last few days, and then I'll play in a poker game. And I was dying at McDonald who was, like, fucking Indiana Jones there, but just had his sunglasses at the end of the table. Yeah. Oh, I I shot him a couple zingers and, had to had to take a shot at him. But, anyways, my my week's been, I mean, it's been a week. They're all up and down. I'll I'll say we got my kids all enrolled in swimming and stuff for the new year, which is great. And I'm curious We've got an all Canadian panel here tonight, but other places, what is signing up for parks and recs rec like? Because in Toronto, it's a fucking nightmare. So here's what you have to do in Toronto. If you want to get your kids enrolled in parks and rec, you have to well ahead of time study the manual and all the course codes for what you potentially might want. You have to make a list of all the things that you might hear first, your second, your third, And then on the day that the course, registration opens up, you have to be at your computer at six forty five AM in the morning because the registration opens at seven AM. And if you're there at seven zero one, you will not get your child in any activity. So This is the ordeal we went through on Monday, Tuesday morning, and Speaker 1
like buying concert tickets for your kids. Speaker 0
Dude, it's it is exactly it's so insane. Speaker 5
I've never seen same experience as trying to get into a provincial park for camping. Speaker 0
Exactly. Right? It's absolutely wild, man. And luckily Jen's amazing. As she had all this figured out. And all I had to do was get up with her at six forty five. We chat our computers going with multiple screens up. Wow. Speaker 1
It refreshes. Refreshing. Oh, Speaker 0
yeah. And I got on and we just, ping, ping, ping, got all the first picks we wanted, and I got all my kids locked into the, swimming at the end of the street, which fantastic. I'm so I'm really excited. Like, it's all good news. But what an ordeal to do that? Because if you don't, you, like, Yeah. It's not happening. Speaker 1
So you have to go Speaker 5
It's like Black Friday sale on on on an activity. Speaker 1
Sounds like it's a city thing because Aaron says almost identical here, which is Chicago. It's cut cut cut throat. But Robbie says easy online process in his town, but his town is only twenty five thousand. Speaker 0
Yeah. It's it's gotta be a big city thing. There's just there's supply and demand. Right? There's not enough, opportunity or or things going on, and not enough staff to do it also. You just first come first serve, or you have to pay the big bucks and go private, and then you're good to go. But, so that was fun. Why would you be laughing at now? Speaker 1
Oh, my his said, don't need to say AM in the morning. It's like me saying background extras. Yeah. You're right. Thank you. Speaker 0
That that's good call. I'm like, fuck you. Thanks. But, so that was that. And then on the same thing, I bought myself a new pair of skates. And when I say new pair, I think this is the first time in my it's very un Canadian, actually. First time I think I've ever spent money on a pair of skates, and I bought myself some Speaker 0
Again, yeah. Actually, I can actually skate quite well. Speaker 5
I bet you mine are older than yours. Speaker 1
Oh, denny's are older. Speaker 4
You also want the pocket stick in your head? Speaker 0
Yeah. I can only stop one way. Speaker 5
only way to call. I can do a Speaker 0
hockey stop, but I could stop stop to my right, but on my left, which is what I wanna prove. But Speaker 5
I can talk over the board. Let's me. Speaker 0
true. But, no, the skates I've been using for years have been where hand me downs from a buddy from high school. So I've been carrying these things around Speaker 5
I wish I could show you mine. Speaker 0
Twenty plus years. Speaker 5
Mine are brown. They're they they don't even make browns, Gabe, anymore. That's amazing. Speaker 1
And that's the blade from all the rust. Anyway, let's move on. Victor. Speaker 0
So, anyways, it's been fun. Speaker 4
Oh, man. I don't miss that at all. The signing up your kids. And and, you know, when we did it, they also allowed you to through the landline. So we had two computers go and we had the landline going Yeah. At the same time and and, yeah. And, you know, we we got them in Speaker 5
And the modem was making that sound Speaker 4
Yeah. No. No. It was, yeah, it was it was not fun. But, so I'm I'm glad that's kinda behind us. Let's see how was the week. We, actually, one of my coworkers, he's on my team. He is an acquire, and they did a concert on the danforth next to my house Mhmm. And, it was a hundred and eighteen person choir. Speaker 1
How many people were in the audience? Speaker 4
It was packed. You Speaker 4
It was packed. Like, yeah, I didn't mean I don't know what's happening because I don't but I don't read, like, local you know, things or anything like that. So, he invited the it was pretty expanded, like, forty bucks a ticket. And I kinda I didn't really know what to expect. Anything, whatever. You know, it's a good cause, you know. Right? And and, they put on, and it was like a three hour concert. Speaker 6
And they were they Speaker 4
had like a like, from the Philharmonic, a cello player, and a and a violinist, and they had, like, this tenor singer, like, it it was incredible. They had they had Christmas music, like gen regular music, Jen's Joppler music. They even had, like, a B BTS. What's that, the the the the green Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. Apparently, they have a Hanukkah song they they do. So they did a, because, oh, happy Hanukkah to all of our you know, friends who are celebrating today. Yeah, so that that was really fun. And, Linda and I booked our next vacation. So, we're Where Speaker 4
We're going to punticana in, April. Nice. Nice. And, I think, Kappcana resort, which is one of their kind of more affluent. Like, we you can do so much without kids. It's such a Speaker 1
Oh, I can't wait. Speaker 4
It's so awesome. Speaker 0
I'm I'm dreaming. Speaker 4
It's so awesome. But, like, you know, we're just upgrading everything and butler. Yes. Sure. Speaker 0
Keep talking dirty to me, Victor. Speaker 4
So really can't that can't come soon enough. I took every Friday off in February. I I I did that last year. Now I'm gonna do that for us my life. Speaker 1
Why February? Like, it's the shortest month. Why would you wanna Just Speaker 4
well, well, February plus the first week of, March. Yeah, I don't know. Just because, like, why not? I because I have a lot of vacation and Linda doesn't get as much. Speaker 4
need to use up my my time somehow. So why not just take my Fridays off? Why not? Speaker 4
Who said no. Anyway, so, yeah. Awesome. That's the updates. Speaker 1
Yeah, my update. I don't I mean, Tanyon and I did the same thing. I'll say about the B and L show, bear the bear naked lady show. I and I I wrote this on Twitter or whatever. We really miss Steven Paige being part of that band. Speaker 1
The a voice that rich and that strong it when you take it out of that band, you know, he's a sec he's a primary songwriter and everything. It it's a very different show. I mean, the other guys who filled in filled in admirably, but it was just different. Like, he when you hear Brian Wilson, you expect to hear Stephen Paige sing it, not Ed Robertson and So it, you know, that part of it was a little bit of a letdown, but they put on a really good show. They've got a lot. They even victory probably appreciate this a lot. They even played the theme to the big bang Yeah. Theory. I didn't know the right song. That's that's a Speaker 1
It's a solid song, but I didn't know there were more verses to it. Speaker 4
You don't have it on your playlist? Speaker 1
No. It's just to me, I hear the the the fifteen second one that they do. Speaker 5
I remember the first time I heard the whole thing. And I'm like, there's more. Yeah. And I remember that, but so I I get what you're saying. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 1
But they've been on a good show. They even did some old school B and L, you know, they came out and just kinda busted it. With with, you know, Bongo drums and a get acoustic guitar, and they did the the old school, what they used to do on Queen Street before they got discovered. So That was cool. And Montana's talking about people watching. Yeah. Being in the casino and watching some of these people, like this one woman, she opened her purse up and pulled out two thousand dollars and hundred dollar bills to to to play blackjack. And she just, you know, threw it on the table like it was nothing and Speaker 1
Yeah. It was crazy. And then Tanya turns to me, say, remember when we used to come here with our GST checks, you know. Speaker 5
It was totally I was like, Speaker 0
in DJent move right there. Speaker 1
I love that Andrew's Canadian. He's laughing his ass off because he knows exactly Speaker 3
what that I'm talking about. Speaker 5
It was sixty six dollars. Sixty six dollars in GST check. And it was like, well, we've already spent it. So let's see what we can double it. Speaker 4
Sixty six dollars. With my flying V system, you could sit at the roulette table for like a couple of hours. Speaker 1
Yeah. Victor's got a system. But, anyway Speaker 5
Oh, roulette was interesting. We've I don't think we've ever played roulette. The the poker people, I was standing there watching, and this guy is like, come on in, and we'll we'll take it easy on you. I'm like, like, I could see you coming a mile away, dude. I'm not sitting there. Speaker 1
Do those things still happen or Speaker 4
or not. Yeah. You have to be really poor to get them. Speaker 1
Okay. So that's why we were getting them twenty years ago. So Speaker 0
so lots change for you Speaker 1
in twenty years. Apparently. So when, when the casino first opened, I remember we you we were all excited and we would take our GST checks for sixty six dollars. We'd get every I sent out. What is that? Speaker 1
Months or something. I don't know how often you get them, but, and then we go up to the casino. And, yes, or better than using our U UI checks. Yes. So it's so it's like not free money, but you know what I mean? Kinda extra money. Speaker 5
We'd already spent the money, and then we were giving it back. So then we thought, well, let's see what we can do with it. Speaker 1
And, we would probably, you know, spend the whole you know, the whole thing playing slot Speaker 1
it was fun. Anyway But Speaker 5
yeah. I I I actually could not watch the woman. After I saw the display of of two thousand dollars. And just just so easy to poof. And I'm like, wow. Speaker 1
Yeah. We're we're having some chats on, in the discord on how everyone's feeling like the the pinch this year around holiday season, just watching that kind of Speaker 5
I'm like, we could buy a snowblower. Speaker 1
Waste fullness. Yeah. It's something Speaker 5
else. I've I felt like asking, would you like to contribute to a snowblower this year for somebody that has a bad bag? Speaker 1
Andrew, how have you been bud? Speaker 4
Oh, Andrew. Before you go, I just got a text, for my son. He was not amused by my comments about taking vacation without kids. Speaker 5
Oh, he's watching. He's Speaker 1
Hello, William. Watching and commenting. That's the Speaker 0
probably the better of the comments he said. Speaker 5
That's awesome, man. Awesome. Speaker 4
Sorry, Andrew. Go. Speaker 6
This week. Yeah. What a what a long month this week has been? Not actually wasn't that bad. Like, I just kinda, like, just started my time off. So just kinda going through, like, all the I I it's spring cleaning in the winter. Speaker 6
And then, I had to go to, my girlfriend's Christmas party, and then I had my kid the next day, and then I had to sleep in this morning. It's a it's a rough life. Speaker 1
That's alright, buddy. Go to your boss and give him your my my brilliant snow, mobile idea for the the go card track. Go Snomalbee. That's yeah. Speaker 6
That's not a bad idea. Then I could work all year around. Speaker 6
I just yeah. I wonder what logistics would be. I'll I'll I'll have to think on it. Speaker 1
In other words, it's a horrible idea. Number, I'm not gonna mention it anyone. Speaker 6
It it's probably not gonna happen in my time, but it'll happen in somebody's time. Speaker 1
Sure. Amazing. Alright. Well, I mean sorry. Were you done? Speaker 6
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Speaker 1
So why don't we get this rig rolling? We'll start with our Twitter roll call. And thank you. Welcome to new not not so new Twitter followers. Last week, for recap and reviewed episode five of the Shoresy season two, the man advantage. That episode received a fresh rating from everyone except yours truly who gave it a clearance. According to our scientific Twitter poll, eighty seven point one percent gave the episode a fresh rating, ten point six percent agreed with me, and two point four percent need to find someone who remembers their name. This week, we recap and review season the season two finale accountability. Have you done your homework, Tanya? Speaker 1
You better soon because they're gonna call you on it if you didn't. What about you, Matt? Speaker 5
I think I stayed awake for the whole thing too. Speaker 0
And remember, just head heads up. You're going first. Speaker 5
I'm I'm I'm here. I'm with you. Thank you. Speaker 1
Thank you. Victor, have Speaker 4
you done your homework? Yes. No. Speaker 1
No. I've done my homework. And and you've done your homework? Speaker 6
I've, I've done my homework and skimmed the material once or twice. Speaker 1
Oh, okay. You got the Kohl's notes version, did you? Speaker 0
Okay. Well, don't Flores Speaker 3
get to the chorus. Speaker 1
Let's start. We open on a title card that reads two months ago, set to the music I am Aquarius by Metrony Metronomy. I feel like I'm meeting Twitter roll call again. It's the infamous blueberry Bulldog's calendar photo shoot. Goody is being photographed and receiving direction from that Meagan Zieg. The sluts are also are also there, except for Shoresy, but they're being not not being much help. In walks Shoresy wearing sunglasses. His skin is a trumpian shade of orange, except around, except his ears. And his mouth everywhere he stares. Speaker 1
Come on. Anyway, when everyone stares, hit just finally the first one to speak. Speaker 4
What are you doing, miss Son? Speaker 3
bro. What's he doing? Speaker 5
What's it look like? Speaker 3
Why does he have his tarp on? What? Why would he have his tarp off? Because if I'm abroad looking at a sexy calendar of dudes, I'm probably hoping they have their tarts off. Speaker 7
Your face is orange. Speaker 1
It looks like you ate an oompa loompa's mitt. Speaker 5
What the fuck is wrong with you, dude? Speaker 2
You look like the tip of Chestera's dick, my guy. Speaker 7
Did you get a spray too? Speaker 3
What everybody would have a spray tan. Why? Because if I'm abroad looking at a sexy calendar of dudes, I'm probably hoping they have a spray tan. Speaker 1
settle down. And Matt asked Rosie why he's wearing sunglasses. After he got the spray tan, he looked in the mirror and the whites of his eyes were so white. It kinda freaked him out. Fish thinks this is hilarious. Matt asked Shorzi to take out his tarp off so they can have a look. Shorzi wants to wait until the grease down before to take before he takes his tarp Speaker 3
greece down? Oh, my god. What's this? I'm a bit nervous. Speaker 5
So dumb. Why would you have a grease down? Speaker 3
Because if I'm a fraud looking at a sexy calendar of dudes, I'm probably hoping they're grease down. How is that shade of orange even an option? I mean, it's almost a shut the fuck up, Michael. Speaker 5
Did you embody that color? Speaker 0
In your junk, Yeah? Speaker 5
Nice. They did your junk too. Speaker 3
I did my own junks. How? You just take the spray gun you spray your junk. Speaker 5
A monkey could do it. Did you do your butthole too? Speaker 3
Let's just get these guys greased down and spray tan so we can be done with it. What? You Speaker 7
want everyone to get a spray tan? Speaker 3
Well, except Dolo. Speaker 3
Well, Ken, if he wants to. He's included. You're an idiot. Speaker 1
Zegan Meek thinks this is a bit much. Not as Shorzy, why he all of this. Speaker 3
Because a year ago, you were gonna fold the team. We couldn't win a game, but then you kept the team together and we won the league. Not, no one can beat us. So If you say you want us to do a sexy calendar so that you can host the National Senior Tournament. Speaker 7
So we can. Subbury, Speaker 5
for the community. By the community. Speaker 7
What are you trying to say, Shorzy? Whatever. Speaker 5
Give your balls a tug. Speaker 1
This proclamation of support softens Matt. The Song Me plus You by a trip starts playing. Not orders the other sluts to go get spray tan, come back, take their tarps off, and get grease down. They leave to do just that. And that announces that the sluts are gonna make her some money. And she she walks up to Shoresy, takes off his sunglasses, revealing Shoresy's reverse raccoon look, it looks like Matt holds back laughter for a second then tells her captain that he's up first and and the cold open ends there. Alright. Tanya, do you remember this cold open? Speaker 5
would not remember this? This was, like, so funny. Like, this is probably the funniest cold open that they've had so far in Shoresy. Yeah, I dare say. It was it was just fantastic. I love the, if he was, what was it? A sub eating a a a oompa loompa's mitt. Speaker 1
Awesome says eight and oompa loompa's mitt will never not make me dissolve into helpless giggles. Yes. It's it is might be the line of the episode. Speaker 5
It's just so funny. The, the, his eyes being white scared him. He's wearing the sunglasses. I'm wondering too if greasing down isn't just gonna make it more of a hot mess if it's a spray tan? Like, is it just gonna streak and get into weight just growth? Anyways, Speaker 1
Turn it into a paste. Speaker 5
Like the whole yeah. The the whole thing about Dolo, well, he can't if he wants, but like, that it was just it was so funny. It really, really was. And and then the deep dive into Shoresy's reason for for why he did what he did and, why he's he's wanting the the guys to do the same. And him saying that he got that, he has not. I got you. You know, he's he's like really, really showing that other side of him, which we did not see in any of the letter Kenny, we are now seeing it with, especially in the last two episodes with him and, Laura Moore, and now him with Matt. And, Well, we really have seen a lot of that side of him, you know, the crying and the holding, sangers. Speaker 1
It's been like little things here and there. And when he's around his family too, which we'll get to. I'm sure later. But, yeah, it's been Matt. Speaker 0
Yeah. This I mean, this is by far, one of the best cold opens we've seen in a long time. End to end, it's, it's got everything, man. It's got some of the best laughs we've had I mean, the the whole condo with Dolo being included, that absolutely slayed. When he changed his tone, he's like, whatever. You need, like, Like, the the the physical comedy and and the the voice changing and all, like, it just it's so spot on. But I love the, like, the the whole story arc in this thing where it comes in. It's just a complete joke, and then as Tanya called out, the the meaning behind his passion and his commitment to the team. Comes through so strong. And on that really sort of heartfelt moment at the end with him and that. And you're right. I caught that too where she wanted to laugh, but it just, like, She's so appreciative of what he just said and what he means to it. It was it was perfect. It was absolutely perfect. Speaker 5
Have we ever went flash fall flash behind? Has it ever because I don't I don't ever remember seeing, like, two months ago. Speaker 4
Have you ever flashed your behind, Alice? Is that what she's asking? Speaker 1
I haven't, but Tang's got a story. We'll talk about that in the after party. I, flash back. I can't. Yeah. Yeah. And in season one, they flash like, there's in the very last episode when Chorsey's in the bathroom puking or whatever, the sluts come to him and talk to him. We can't hear what they're saying, but Speaker 1
the game happens. And then later on, they show the Speaker 5
whole, like, two months ago. Like, I don't remember it ever flashing up like that. Speaker 0
And and this was so important that they did this. As the episode progresses, and then thinking of the whole season, I think This was absolutely necessary to have as a scene, and I'm so glad they did it. Speaker 1
Aaron has a good point here. His reason also circles back to every action he made this season too. Watching it again makes it, yeah, come come out tenfold for sure. Like, everything that happened this season, it kind of explains his, yeah, his reasoning with everything Victor. Speaker 4
Yeah. You know what? Like, by the end, I kind of, it felt like it wasn't even a cold open. It lasted a really long time. Speaker 4
there was the and and the gimmick of it kinda went away very quickly and you know, so you're kinda watching it and you're thinking, okay. We're in the episode. Speaker 4
And then you and then you get that little, logo. Right? Speaker 4
like, oh, yeah. That was a cold open. So it didn't it didn't really, you know, it's like, yeah, I guess it was a good cold open, but also maybe because it was shot like a full scene. And it wasn't really shot, like, a cold open. Because I would argue if we're literally talking about cold opens, this the the one with Matt. I I'm, like, Speaker 4
Put put put above that. Like, in in terms of what you would truly call call a cold open. Right? So Oh, Speaker 4
warmer This this just felt like a scene. Mhmm. Speaker 1
Agreed. I mean, Shoresy doesn't do cold opens like they like they did in Lending Kenny. Right? Like, it Shoresy, the cold opens usually are. They have to do with the story still. And and and it's a continuation generally of what's going on before. But, yeah, we went from, you know, probably my least favorite cold open last week, if you wanna call that a cold open to Oh, Speaker 0
did you not like the one last week? Speaker 1
I can't remember, but I might have to go check my notes. But anyway, Speaker 5
was the one I fell asleep in. Speaker 1
Yes. This one here was amazing. Love it. Probably one of my favorites. Victor, I do agree. Then that one might might beat this out just a bit. But but not by much. Speaker 0
You guys are pissed, man. Speaker 1
Yeah. I know. But either way, like, I love that the the humor in this and and just Shoresy standing there with this ridiculously orange and really bad spray job because he's missing parts on his neck and his ears are still white. And around his mouth, like, it he's he's he's in But his junk Speaker 4
was orange too, so you can take comfort in that. Speaker 1
He went as far as doing his junk, but he missed some obvious spots on his face. But he went full cheat of Cheeto face there and, you gotta, you know, admire, I guess, the the, the attention to detail. Andrew, what'd you think? Speaker 6
Well, I mean, you guys kinda basically all said it. But, like, one of the things that I will point out about this one is, like, He's fucking right. Like, honestly, if you think about it though, he's fuck everything he says. He's fucking absolutely right. Like, why was this overlooked in the first place when they were planning on doing a sexy calendar. Speaker 6
Like tarps off, grease down. That's the he was a hundred percent right. Like, That's basically all I got to say about it. Like Speaker 1
He's got a a a very customer first mentality here. Right? He's like, if I'm If I'm gonna buy a calendar full of sexy men, I wanna see them greased down and tarps off and and apparently Speaker 6
more orange. Set the tone. Like, But, like, you knew, yeah, you knew exactly what he was selling. You knew exactly what it was for. Speaker 6
for the hockey team. It's for the boys. Like, fuck whatever pride and shame that you have. Make the fuck the calendar. Like, That was, you know, set the tone. Speaker 0
you're gonna do it, do it. Right? Right. Speaker 1
In in the in the last stream you're saying, we want the calendar. Let us buy the fucking calendar. I'm a little shot, actually. Speaker 5
Oh, that's a good idea. Speaker 1
The letter Kenny store doesn't have this calendar. Speaker 0
I was thinking about that the other day. It felt like an obvious promo, like, an obvious sale item, and Ted. And maybe it's still coming. Who knows? But it did feel obvious. Speaker 1
I mean, I know people don't generally buy calendars anymore, but, I mean, there's still use there's still garages. Speaker 4
People buy calendars. What are you talking about? Speaker 1
Okay. Fine Victor. Speaker 4
Well, no. Like, every, every, December, the in center has a pop up store that only sells Yeah. Speaker 0
every realtor in the world sends me a calendar every year. Speaker 1
And what do you do with it? And what do you do with it? Where is it? Speaker 0
That's important. Our pharmacy, Speaker 5
our pharmacy gives Toyota calendar every year. Speaker 1
Yeah. And what do we do with it? Sure. Speaker 4
Hey. I get Linda every day a cat a day calendar. Speaker 0
Every day, every day, there's a new calendar. Speaker 4
Cat a day. No. They could go. And when you start your day, there's you you rip off, a leaf and there's a new cat waiting stare waiting with a funny little, pose and comment for you. Speaker 0
It's the softest thing her. Speaker 1
Anyway, let's move on to scene one out of the cold open. We start with a black screen and we hear hitch saying Now the buys, just has to decide, who do we wanna be? Do we wanna be the best team in the league this year, or do we wanna be the best team in the league ever? Cut back to present day. We pick up where we left off at in the last episode. We're after Laura Mooreoff for Shoresy, to share a cab back to her place. Laura asked Shoresy what he's doing and Shoresy says he can't. He's gotta go home. When Laura asks why, Shoresy answers accountability. Same to Katsu Shorzi's apartment, the Slutz are all sitting in the living room. Lawrence Laboepf is also there with Frankie. Speaker 3
I wouldn't ask you guys to do anything that I wouldn't do myself. I could have gone home last night with a girl I've been trying to take home for a year And I didn't. Speaker 0
No. Well, Leslie, you've been trying to take home for Speaker 3
you. That's account of It wasn't Speaker 3
Buddy, I got broad from North Bay to Bline River want me to bang him. Speaker 3
Pucking Broad from Temiscaming to Nipissing, want me to ding him. Speaker 3
Manitoulin to magneto on, bitch. Speaker 4
Come on out of it then. What are Speaker 3
you even doing here? Speaker 6
I can wait in the bathroom. Speaker 3
Yeah. Just give us five. Speaker 0
You're really struck a nerve there. I love it. Speaker 1
Since since hitch isn't part of the problem, Shoresy is trying to solve. He leaves the room and waits in the bathroom, which seems to be his favorite place to hang out at the apartment. Like, he's always in the bathroom. Production, though, when Shoresy is rhyming off all the towns from where, you know, from the where the girls that wanna bang them are from, since the last few were literations, they really missed an opportunity for him to say from Listable to Letter Kenny. That would have been like an awesome little. That insert there. Speaker 1
Anyway, back to the anti pep talk from Shorzy.
Speaker 3
Accountability. Frankie. Leave her tampons on the counter. Oh, those are Frankie's Larance's hers under the sink. I was standing from set.
Speaker 3
Was stood from it?
Speaker 3
I didn't smash her, not Laura Moore. Okay. Two nights before our final game with the yanks. Mhmm. But I'm not here to tell you to refrain. Refrain it? Refrain from it. I'm not here to tell you not to hammer ass, but you need to be accountable. Right? You never got any legs in the third because you already played a period between the sheets. If you wanna hammer ass all day, you can't be dogging it, come game time.
Speaker 1
Dola doesn't understand dogging it. Laura Ann's Labuff explains this reminds good to have pogos for some reason. Shoresy wants a dip. Hitch offers to bring some, but Shoresy isn't done with his speech yet.
Speaker 3
You got teammates that rely on you. In a whole town that's depending on you, you need to be accountable. So maybe you try is once not hammer an ass all night the night before a game.
Speaker 1
Dolo and Goody agree to behave. Shorzy leaves. The loss raised going, Shorzy answers home. Next scene cut to Nat's office. Nat and her team are staring at the calendar photos on her wall doing some math. They did thirty thousand in calendar sales. That's a lot of calendars. The man advantage night at the Colson brought them up to forty thousand. There's still ten thousand short. Of being able to host a national senior men's hockey championship, and that asks for ideas. Next scene cut to Shoresy's father's Shorsey's father, leading the rest of the shore family and grace around the table. The dinner table, Shorsey's sister, Carrie, wonders if they should pray, say a little prayer for the bulldogs. Most says they don't need to. Their father offer offers up a toast instead. You don't wanna lose to the yanks. Then he turns to walk him a guest at the table, Mikey. He's Shoresy's niece's niece's Kayla's boyfriend. Shorsey decides, Mikey needs to be initiated into the family dinner. So he starts making fun of Mikey's name. The others come to, Mikey's defense. Shores' dad asks Mikey what he likes to do for fun. Mikey likes e sports because short before Shoresy can say anything, Kayla defend him. It's legit. There are term tournaments and leagues Moad's the Mitch Marner. He's the Toronto Mate believes player, owns a league. They're really popular. Shoresy responds by saying it doesn't make them respectable. But Carrie tries to ignore Shoresy.
Speaker 5
So how many people play in your league, Micky?
Speaker 3
Yeah, Micky. What's the concussion protocol in your league? What color are
Speaker 6
most of the kids?
Speaker 3
trophy at play four of the fucking Reese peanut butter cup.
Speaker 1
I heard Mike, he's the hardest working player in his league. Hardest worker.
Speaker 3
And we think these guys play throughs having a fucking Pete from drinking fucking
Speaker 3
I only do it because I love you, Kayla. He gets vetted just like everybody wants to date my family.
Speaker 3
Except free since she was already in the family.
Speaker 1
Free isn't taking that abuse. She strikes back.
Speaker 5
Speaking of embarrassing. Why didn't you ask Shoresy about the time his ninth grade girlfriend came running into my room crying because he couldn't get it up.
Speaker 3
I didn't wanna get it up. Oh, Mikey, if she saw that big dank boy, she'd really be crying. Oh my god. I was just looking out for her. Where? Yeah. Never be the same after that.
Speaker 3
Got her whole life ahead of her. Was that Sarah? That's somebody's daughter, you know?
Speaker 3
I said you think you wanted. You got no idea what you're getting yourself into here. Okay. Wow. Who knows where she'd be today?
Speaker 1
That attempt to embarrass Shoresy backfired, so Free decided on a different tact.
Speaker 5
Looks like everything was working just fine on
Speaker 7
our family vacation in Cuba. Free. When he was making out with a girl that was
Speaker 3
It's fucking the hottest guy I ever seen. She was a real hot
Speaker 3
He thought she was hot too.
Speaker 5
Locking happened after ten beers, unlawful. Why he
Speaker 3
I thought she was a girl. She was a real hot guy.
Speaker 3
Yeah. Those girls pay good money to get themselves looking like that. Can't be too shocked if they get the odd one by you?
Speaker 1
I don't think it's fair if they don't tell you up front.
Speaker 3
And really good on them. I'll tell you who this whole thing is smoke unfair to is girls who already look
Speaker 6
a little bit like guys. Dad.
Speaker 3
I'm just saying the way things are gone. If she looks a little bit like a guy, You've got a mind. She probably really is one.
Speaker 1
Time to pull a yui.
Speaker 3
Anyone else you got free? This is bad in practice.
Speaker 1
Cut after dinner, the shore families say their goodbyes to each other with long hugs set to the song patients by porches. They all take they'll take turns telling Shoresy they love him including free and wishing him luck on the big game. Shores even cries a little on his father's shoulder. Then afterwards, Shoresi says he's glad they're all so close. Carrie responds with successes and success unless you have someone to share it with. Shoresy ponders this. Cut to the next scene, Shoresy's in front of Laura Moore's house. Carrie's words still ringing in his in his head. Laura opens her front door, sees Shoresy. They stare at other for a second, then Laura removes her top, turns around and walks up her stairs, looking back for Shoresa to follow her. He does. Thankfully, closing the door behind him. Next scene cut to Shoresy's apartment, Dolo and Goody, stand before their girlfriends who don't look too pleased with them. We're led to believe the boys turned them down for some toe curling. Scene seven cut to an episode of questionable call, Nick and her panel are teeing up the BullDark's potentially record breaking game. The Bluster Club are traveling to Sue Michigan to witness the historic game. There's no shortage of bad blood between the two teams citing Shoresy as the instigator for most of it. They cut some they cut to some miked up moments from their previous contest where Shores is making fun of Shneur's name and age, Delaney's co cabinet and Palmer's size and intelligence. And Nick says it's up to the bulldogs. Do they wanna be the best team in the league this year or the best team in the league ever? Cut to the music of montage set to on you by Laura. The the bulldogs leaving the Subbury arena and boarding the team bus to Michigan with their supporters there to see them off, then arriving that evening in Sue, Michigan and entering the arena. Next scene, Corey and Liam are also there to capture video of the action. Corey's wearing his walkie talkie clipped to his shoulder. Liam takes notice.
Speaker 6
Oh, oh, oh, well. Hook who finally came around. Not terribly getting your ding sucked tonight.
Speaker 0
Got my ding sucked this morning.
Speaker 1
That and management are also at the arena looking down at the ice. Not asked if she wished Sanger, good luck. Meeg says she, she's his good look charm. Meeg asked Nat if she's going to say hi to Shneur. She already did. Nat already got what she wanted after after from him. You don't you don't date sluts. You just take them down. Not need needed a different favor. A pre game interview with Jorsey. Jory. Zig asked Nat how she got them to do that. Cut to Shner, Delaney and Palmer sitting for their interview. Shner informs them that Jori has cancer. Palmer asked what what kind. Shenurs says it doesn't matter. They're doing this for the kid. Now the Delaney Nor palmer looked pleased, and then enter Jory. Hi.
Speaker 3
I'm Joy Jordan. This is the Sunbury Kin Sports report US edition. I'm here with three members of the Sue Hunt. Gentlemen, please state your name and ethnicity.
Speaker 0
I don't think that's important.
Speaker 3
You don't think Grace is important? Okay. Let's skip the land acknowledgement. Y'all played a stint in the show. Yes. Palmer. Delaney did too much Coke. How'd you fuck it up? Shurner, would you agree that Palmer looks like he did more Coke than Delene?
Speaker 6
Listen. K. Just a sec.
Speaker 1
Jorie interrupts his interview by pretending to take a phone call on a banana. Next scene, cut to the Bulldog's locker room, sanger gives a quick pep pep talk, then does the roll call each player responds with the Yahoo, then Sanger gets down to strategy.
Speaker 2
Nothing comes easy against the Americans. You'll have to work for every inch. They're gonna line match palmer against Shoresy tonight. So, Jim. Yeah.
Speaker 8
You say jump, we say how high a singer?
Speaker 2
We're relying on you to take him out early.
Speaker 3
You gotta set the tone.
Speaker 2
We'll start with Shoresy's line, but get control of the puck and get off the ice. Let the gyms do the thing. You good, Jim?
Speaker 8
Jim? Yes. Jim. We've overcome a lot of adversity this season, both personally as a team. We found Michaels, helping to reach for the top team, go to sectionals.
Speaker 0
Invoice, I found someone to share my success with.
Speaker 4
I find someone knows me name, buzz. Girla just wants to hang out, play some tunes.
Speaker 3
Cuntie? Hello? Did you hammer ass all night?
Speaker 1
No one with him. Really?
Speaker 6
Countability. Hey.
Speaker 3
That's not a big deal to dismiss one night. We'll back remember Alconetti. How can you call your parents? How'd a big deal?
Speaker 8
I wasn't finished or is he? Oh, sorry, Jim. We're gonna hurt Palmer. Just wanna answer your question. Yes. Ready to set the tone. Thanks, Jim.
Speaker 1
Sanger informs the team that the Sue hunt wanna do something different tonight. They wanna introduce the bulldogs one by one. When asked why Sanger doesn't know, maybe it's because it's a historic night and they wanna mark the occasion. Seeing twelve cut to the game. The Bulldog's wait in the tunnel to be introduced. The first player introduces number four. Mister April, Brent Goodleaf as Goody as Goody's calendar picture is projected on all the walls of the arena. To booze jeers and laughter. Next up is number fourteen, mister November, Ted Hitchcock. Before taking the ice hit your mind shortly that he said the calendar would bite them in the ass Next up is number sixty nine and mister July. But the scene cuts before we hear Shoresy's actual full name. Now we cut to the National Anthem and the Sue Hunt have another prize. They're, up their camouflage sleeves. There's a special rendition of the Canadian National Anthem, but a ten year old doogie Bebo, who's learning to play the recorder, And by the sounds of it, hasn't had a real lesson yet.
Speaker 3
That's enough of that. Why is that
Speaker 5
so much more Fucks sake.
Speaker 0
That's the fucking tone.
Speaker 1
My favorite thing
Speaker 1
the worst he he fucks up, the the more he fucks up the worse it gets. Right? Like, he just starts, like, zooming through it. It's really bad. That's enough of that. During the entire Canadian Anthem, instead of crying, Shores, he's getting increasingly furious. The the American Anthem follows. And by comparison, it sounds like Whitney Houston at the nineteen ninety one Super Bowl. Then it's game time. Shoresy lines up for the opening face off against Delaney who brags that he that they pulled out all the stops for the bulldogs. Shorsey swears to Delaney that he'll get him for what for that fucking anthem. Palmer threatens mister July that he'll, be all up in his kitchen all nights. Shorsey tells him off, He'll see how how, how's he's talking in about five minutes. The puck drops and the Bulldog's wind possession dumped the puck to the Sue zone and quickly change lines. The gym's line comes on and all three gyms make a b line for Palmer. They drop the gloves and take the big guy down. When the smoke clears, palmer is done before it begins. All three gyms are also thrown out. The ref calls them fucking psychos. Corey radios Liam, asks him if he's, ready to watch this team play three inches smaller. Queue the musical game montage, set to the song your man by Joji, The, first line takes the ice. Frankie looks into the stands and sees Lawrence Laba for arriving. This makes him happy. He immediately scores the goal to put the bulldogs up one nothing. But then Shner ties it up for the hunt. First create ends tied at once. In the locker room, during the intermission, the team celebrates the gyms for setting the tone. Saying it reminds him this stuff, two periods to play. Second period, Pam arrives at the arena hitch spots her while sitting on the bench. On his next shift, he, he Hitch takes a water bottle or makes the water ball fly once more and puts the bulldogs up to one. But now it's Delaney's turn to tie things up back with the goal. Shorsey's getting worried about the record. Then he sees Laura Moore arrive at the game. On his next shift, Shorsey looks hooks to Laney between the legs and sends him down. But the second period ends with the teams deadlocked it too. Production note, I love how when Frankie and Hitchcock see their girlfriends, they respond by scoring goals, but when chores he sees Lauren Moore, he responds by cheap shotting Delaney. It's like, I guess he knows He's
Speaker 4
Different superpowers. Yeah.
Speaker 1
Second intermission in the Bulldog's locker room sangers reminding them that they have one final period to play. Shoresy goes to Goody and Dolo.
Speaker 3
All boys. Great to play your first third period of the season.
Speaker 6
What's the leg, Shoresy?
Speaker 0
That's all about that back next Shoresy.
Speaker 3
Here's where we need you, boys. We need you right fucking out, right here in the third. Right? Everybody going here in the third. Everything you fucking got. Alright. Everybody. Everything you got. Leave it all fucking
Speaker 3
Here we fucking go now.
Speaker 1
Third period starts, Michael sees Mercedes arrive at the arena. This gives him renewed energy cut to a bunch of billion saves by Michaels. Next up, Brit mel melodi, arrived at the arena. Dola and Goody see them. First Goody scores from Adolo Pass, then Fish fakes a off from the point and feeds it to Dolo, who goes in and puts one in the club, top club side corner, to put the bulldogs up. Five two, and that's how the game will end. The Bulldog cement their legacy as the greatest no show team ever, and we are treated to quick flashbacks this season leading up to the win. Final scene. Two days later, Shorsey is in, Shorsey and Matt sit in her office.
Speaker 7
How you feeling?
Speaker 3
I'm still drunk. We'll get it
Speaker 7
out of you now. You've gotta keep this heater going through playoffs.
Speaker 3
Don't worry, not. We're winning the no show and going to the National Senior tournament.
Speaker 3
So it was Sherr, who is fucking you?
Speaker 7
I was fucking him. Whatever. So all the boys got their girls there?
Speaker 3
Nah, and I think at the end of the day, That's all any of us are really playing for.
Speaker 7
You're gonna win as a ship.
Speaker 3
We'll never lose again.
Speaker 7
What if I told you you could do it all in home ice?
Speaker 3
Last time I checked, you were ten k short of the necessary fifty k. Good effort, but still an l. We got the fifty. How? What?
Speaker 7
The sue hunt. I think their fans must have really loved your calendar shots blown up like that. Every fan in the ring butt one. How much? Enough to clear fifty k. We made our bid for the National Senior Tournament, and we got it. The best hockey teams in Canada coming here to play for the national title against you and suddbury. You got anything to say?
Speaker 3
Let's set the fucking toe.
Speaker 1
And we fade to black. That is The season finale of Shoresy season two. Alright. So for initial, thoughts on this episode, Tanya, you were up first.
Speaker 5
I'm going. There is so much. I know we keep on saying that, but holy hell. There is so much to unpack again in this episode, as for pretty much this whole season, or, yeah, okay. So we get Shoresy and Laura Moore again, a flashback to what happened in the previous episode. I love that Shoresy didn't want to, go with Laura I found there was, like, some inconsistencies there though because he was, like, okay, you gotta set the tone and saying to the guys, you know, don't Yep. Play a game between the sheets, but then he ends up later in the episode knocking on Laura's door and and it was the night before because he said all night before the game and then there he is before the game because they were then loading the bags onto the buses and leaving and going out. So, I'm wondering where his because he didn't wanna do it two nights before, but he did it the night before, and where he sees that as being you know, that he was okay.
Speaker 0
Why did he get a pass on accountability? Yeah.
Speaker 4
Because he was at the family dinner, and he heard the comment about Yes.
Speaker 1
said it in so he Yeah. It made him think. So he broke his own and the rule was his. Right? He broke his own rule.
Speaker 5
Because of his sister and what?
Speaker 1
Sister say it's it's not it's it's not He's
Speaker 4
gonna sleep through that scene. Did you?
Speaker 1
It's not success unless you have someone to share with it. She she said the same.
Speaker 5
She said the same thing.
Speaker 1
That Michael's Yeah. Is always saying. So it made him think
Speaker 4
And then it immediately went to that scene right after she said it.
Speaker 0
Yeah. He broke the rule. You're not wrong. Hundred percent, he went against what he told the guys.
Speaker 4
Yeah. But that was that wasn't, like, confusing. That was obvious.
Speaker 4
that was the whole point.
Speaker 1
I think, I mean, the evidence shows he wasn't expecting goody and Dolo to follow the rule. Right? Because he was surprised when they told him that they they didn't do anything. So there you go.
Speaker 5
Alright. Shorsey's father, dinner table, they fit that in. That was interesting. Again, the family dynamics with his upbringing and the whole thing. It did just not even totally sure how to unpack that one. The e sports comical because I think I've said the same thing. I'm wasn't entirely sure that that was a sport. I don't call it.
Speaker 4
It's not a sport.
Speaker 5
But, like, anyways. Okay. I I it's funny that Shoresy was deflecting all of the, insults from the sister saying that he didn't want to scare the girl, and that's why she went running out of his room and said that he couldn't get it up. I thought that was funny. Questionable call. They fit one of those in. Like, come on. They fit in so much Corey and Liam. I'm as soon as he said, that he got his dink sucked, in the morning. I was wondering if that was a line that he ran with his mom.
Speaker 0
Of course, it is.
Speaker 5
I can't help it. Every time he talks, I was like, I mean, what did mom say when you said that? Anyways, joy. Jory.
Speaker 4
That's a callback to our interview. So for those wondering what Tanya's talking.
Speaker 5
Yeah. Jory and, you know, taking the call and his banana. I, like, really, that was funny. I was I I thought that was pretty funny that he was like so insulting to them. It's like, you know, this is, yeah, nothing. Setting the tone. Again, one by one introducing them. The calendar is gonna bite them in the ass, and it did bite them in the ass. But then the end, it ended up saving them and got them the fifty k that they needed. And, the recorder O Canada, that was not as funny. As when you just played it now. Like, when when they were playing the the recorder and Shoresy zoom in on his face getting so bloody mad at the at, like, just butchering the Oak Canada, and I was, but it was super funny when you just played it right now. Oh, my gosh. Again, there's just so much going on. The girls coming in, the locker room intermissions. Like, we got to be a part of that whole game. I I feel like more than any of the other episodes, we got to be part of that one. And and we really got to, like, we gotta see the pucks going. They must have taken so many shots. Like, that was a lot of ice time.
Speaker 1
they shot that over multiple days because that was a lot of hockey.
Speaker 5
That was a lot of hockey. The girls coming in, the guy's reaction, as you guys were saying about Shoresy, you know, he didn't he didn't get a puck in, but he got a cheap shot yeah, it again, it's just a a frigging loaded loaded episode.
Speaker 0
Yeah. I'll fly through a few things and focus on one area because I know everyone there's a lot of content here as Tanya called it. Few stand out moments for me. The the grammar checks between Labuff and and Shoresy there, whether talking or whatever really, really cracked me up. I thought that was brilliant. I actually wish that they gave Mikey some dialogue in the family conversation. I would love to have seen him interact with or attempt to interact with them. I think they could have had some fun with rather than have him just sort of sit there and and and, yeah, and take it in. But either way, I think it was still fine Tanya, not wrong. They fit in a lot of stuff. They fit that in. Questionable call was used brilliantly. They didn't they didn't overwork it. They just It was a grid little middle of the ground, like, intermission to the episode Yeah. That set you up for the ending. I thought that was great.
Speaker 1
And kinda reminding you, okay. Here's the the path between these two teams. This is why they hate other and yeah.
Speaker 0
Yeah. Used brilliantly. The Jory bit, really made me laugh. That was so good as well. The one thing right at the end that made that I I This is just me going this doesn't make any fucking sense was when they talk about the final ten k that they made off the calendar sales.
Speaker 0
you notice the arena that they're in, was not the the blueberry Bulldog arena.
Speaker 0
It's like this arena. Yeah. It's a tiny little community arena. There's probably, like, fifty people tops in there. So were they getting ten k from fifty people. Those
Speaker 1
are expensive calendars.
Speaker 4
One hundred dollar calendars.
Speaker 0
How expensive are these fucking calendars?
Speaker 5
One thousand dollars.
Speaker 0
Like, that's obviously me getting picky, but I definitely, that.
Speaker 1
Or or you know what? Maybe it's maybe it's ten dollars US, but then, you know, when they bring up Oh, yeah. That's true.
Speaker 0
I didn't think about that. The neighbors
Speaker 3
must have shipped these days.
Speaker 0
You could be on some version. But I what I wanted to call out was, the again, I've been doing this all season. I wanna continue it is is some of the cinematography and the work in on the production side of this. This, again, was an episode that just thrived on that. I do and and I'll I'll say this first and lead into some of the moments that stood out to me. What Kyzo did in this season is choresy in general is basically teach a master class on music selection.
Speaker 0
And this this, episode to me was a huge moment for that as well, especially that that last not the very last song, your man or whatever it was called, the hockey sequence, that set the tone for everything that was about to happen. Right? They they've been going with that theme. I thought that was used so brilliant. Like, there's little moments, like, like, when they cut to the scene where Michaels was making all the saves, every save was was cut to a beat. It it just felt so rhythmic and amazing. I loved it. When and on the on the camera side, the the dressing room scene between the second and third period, I loved. It looked like it was probably a fully handheld or a bit of a stabilizer a lot closer than what you usually get in their locker room scenes because normally they're they have the kind of look and feel of how they hit lockers. But, no, they're right up and shores his face as he's delivering that kind of last. Let's get him speech. I love the raw authenticity of that scene. Mhmm. So that made me really, really happy. And then, like, the to hold the loading, the bus scene. So when Shoresy's walking down, through the through the hallways, passing everyone, and then they do that smooth smooth transition to everyone wishing them off on the, as they're getting into the bus. And I loved I mean, that shit makes me so happy when I see it screen.
Speaker 0
And again, I continue to say I love how much they pushed Shoresi into being so much more playful and artistic with the way that they're handling the equipment and and, what they're doing. So I I I just applaud this season. I think they did a fantastic job of really just taking everything they've done through Letter County to a whole new level, with Shoresy. And I just really wanted to call that out. So, yeah, master class and music, though. Like, this is how you choose music for things. And I can I even even as I said to Jared, when we when we talked with him, is most of what I've heard through all the letter came out of Shoresy, I'd never heard before?
Speaker 0
But I'm so thankful I have, and it all fit so well, like, like, pivotal pivotal puzzle pieces in what they created, and so, yeah, it just was so good.
Speaker 1
So good. Alright. So good. Victor.
Speaker 4
Yeah. So let's see. Not to rehash what's been said so far. I I did like the jewelry scene. It was super funny. So let me talk about some things that I didn't find that were great. Since you guys are gonna continue to gush about the good stuff. So the family scene, I I thought that was a miss. There wasn't really anything funny about it. I felt that, they could've I don't know. They could've done so much more with it, because we didn't get it for such a long time.
Speaker 4
And to go back, and I I just felt it was a missed opportunity. That whole thing about about choresy and with the girl in the room. Mhmm. For me, that was a throwaway. Like, that was, like, that's what a six. I I get I get it. Like, he's in, like, an old teenager, but that's that's what that's what a sixteen year old kid would say. Right? It's not like he's we just spent that. We just had that touching moment with him and and Laura Moore, and he's come kinda coming out and talking about, you know, hey, he's doing this because he can be the real him. But is this the real him? Like, or is this just you know, there's weird family dynamic. It's just a weird it wasn't funny. And and then the the the the other thing that happened, And the other thing they talked about, in the family, the, yeah, the esports was okay. It wasn't, like, tremendously funny, and there was a third thing they talked about. I I just I just didn't hit for me. Like, I I was hoping for some good laughter out of that and, or some meeting. The short
Speaker 1
scene in the transvestite.
Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The trans yeah. Exactly. Like, it's like who like, I don't know. It just it none it was just it it was just there. It happened, and it wasn't it I it didn't really offer that much except it was, segway to him going back to Laura Moore, and and spending a night with her. And and and kudos, to Laura Martin. That was a nice scene as well. Anyway, so that was, that was that wasn't great. The the what, that that energy show? What do they call it? That Matt said was brilliant.
Speaker 1
Questionable call. Questionable call.
Speaker 4
Yeah. Questionable. Yeah.
Speaker 0
I just realized that it was well used.
Speaker 4
Yeah. It I kinda thought it was a throwaway. Like, I just felt like It it's a it's it's such a big production to get these people together. And it's like nothing they didn't really They
Speaker 1
probably shot that there's only two scenes in the entire season. They probably shot it all.
Speaker 4
Yeah, man. Yeah. They probably Probably
Speaker 0
a one day shoot.
Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. I just I just felt like if that scene never happened, we'd be go we'd be fine.
Speaker 1
I think it's there as a bit of a just reminding people. It's a
Speaker 4
little bit of a setup. A little bit of yeah. I just But, like, the usual the whole, like, initially, it was like to bring some laughter and to bring some charisma and care. Like, it was totally, like, There was zero, like, zero charisma to the thing. It it was just it was just such a, I don't know, like, okay. We're gonna put that in just to so we can show you the chirps and then we're, you know, we're out. Like, I I felt like, again, it was just a bit of a throwaway. But but here's the big one. So all the girlfriends. I don't know I don't know if anybody was gonna bring this up. But they get a big fat fail for me. So first of all Why? So first of all, Laura Labouf gets the a out of all of them because she at least At least, she shows up in the first period. She's late, but at least she shows up in the first grade. Laura Moore.
Speaker 1
I wondered if you're gonna bring this up. Maybe they weren't just showing up or arriving. Maybe they were just coming in from the bathroom or something. Like,
Speaker 4
No. No. No. No. They were showing up. They were coming into the arena they were that you could clearly see that the players making eye contact with them were seeing them for the first time
Speaker 4
Because all of a sudden they get this stupid smile on their face.
Speaker 4
No. No. They're showing up late. I don't know what the fuck they were doing, but they're showing up late. Laura Moore the border. Yeah.
Speaker 4
and and isn't she like,
Speaker 1
like, a reporter says that there's a long wait at the border. Yeah.
Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Okay. So Laura Moore shows up. I think Mercedes too shows up in the second period embarrassing, but the worst the worst. The worst. Embarrassing as Brit and, Melody.
Speaker 4
What the fuck are they doing showing up in the third period? Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Oh my goodness. I'd say get the fuck out.
Speaker 1
That's a fire door. This is what
Speaker 0
you this is what you found issue with in this episode.
Speaker 4
Oh, well, yes. I I am I wrong? Am I wrong? No. Where's the loyalty?
Speaker 0
You're not wrong.
Speaker 4
It's the loyalty. You know, when a friend
Speaker 1
the thought crossed my mind too. It's like they're showing up pretty late in the game, but, yeah, I mean, it's a device. Right? But I hear what you're saying.
Speaker 5
Maybe the waiter didn't bring their bill for dinner. Maybe it wasn't their fault.
Speaker 4
Of course, you're taking their side anyway. So that's what I gotta say. Those are my initial thoughts. Mhmm.
Speaker 3
Very specific. Yeah.
Speaker 1
Alright. This episode's great. Yeah, Matt. I agree with you the music and and the shot selection and everything everything about the cinematography on the show and the music. It's funny. Somebody wrote, I feel it was on Blue Sky or something. Somebody who's obviously not familiar with letter Kenny is with the universe, said something like, Shoresy's nothing but, like, a bunch of slow motion scenes sent to music. And They're not wrong, but I mean, it's a style choice. Right? And and and, you know, it they use it effectively and and we obviously all enjoy it. Victor, you're not wrong about the family meal scene. When I saw it happen, I got all excited because it was it was something that was was enjoyable from the first year, season. You're right. It wasn't very funny, but I think what it is, it's just showing just how important family is to to to shoresey. So it could have been half the length and done the exact same thing. So I don't disagree with you, but I think there's a purpose for those scenes. And I would love to see more of them if they had more important things to do.
Speaker 5
I think the reason for them is to show how he has been brought up chirping. Oh, yeah. Like, he chirps at the dinner table, like, and they give it and and take it just as, like, the father is chirping it. Like, everybody is chirping. And if you're not quick tongued and and able to send it back. But then at the at the front door, them hugging each other and and saying that they love each other and and not just hugging and like tap tap tap, like, and embrace. Right? And that deep, deep love, like, he's showing
Speaker 1
his even between him and free. We're they're they're they seem to be the ones who chirp each other the most. And, they they still, yeah, they still so yeah. For sure. I think that's the reason for those scenes. It's to give us a big
Speaker 4
I agree. And and and that's fantastic. And Tanya, I agree with everything you said. All I'm saying is spend a little more time in the writing room and also add one more layer of of funny. That's all I'm saying. Add one more layer of funny because I think the three stories they used for as the setup for all the trips and stuff like that, they were they were okay, but they could have been better is all I'm saying. And sorry, Keith, you know, like, All I'm saying is that you're you're calling
Speaker 1
them Keith now, are you? So there's that. Correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a dolo track in this season? I'm trying to think back, and I can't think of there being a dol now.
Speaker 0
Hold on. I can I can find out on Krave in second? Have they posted that whole list of songs?
Speaker 1
In in the scene, in Choises Department, there's a a hip hop track playing in the background that sounds like it could be Dolo. But I I feel it. I don't remember there being a solo tracker at all in season two. But here's a crack. I know Awesome in the in the live stream had a a bit of a crack pot theory that, not went to Mercedes to get the the last ten thousand. Oh, Matt, pumped yet there's Yeah.
Speaker 0
Even episode one, they had
Speaker 0
Lighter by Jodolo. Alright. It's episode two had two tracks.
Speaker 1
Oh, okay. Good. I I just didn't remember writing those down, but that's good. Because I know that he was like, they were going to do that, but I I don't know.
Speaker 0
Five had two tracks.
Speaker 0
So, yeah, fair amount.
Speaker 1
Wow. Okay. I completely missed those. Anyway, I was saying so awesome's theory was that, Matt went to Mercedes for the last ten grand. I've got a bit of a different theory. And that is not Slapelischner and ask, like, just to to to get him to do the interview with with Jori.
Speaker 5
So I was just gonna say, what the hell are you saying? That she asked him for money, and
Speaker 3
No. No. No. No. You're a hunker.
Speaker 1
The idea for the intros was nats or meigs or zs. Oh, that's my theory.
Speaker 1
And and that's, just, you know, the crack pot theory, but
Speaker 4
How about maybe they sold enough calendars to make the money?
Speaker 1
No. But, Kate, there's that scene where they're looking at her wall of of calendar pictures and they're, like, doing the math and they're, like, ten thousand dollars short and that asked the the girls for ideas, and then they cut from that scene. So is that anyone have any ideas? And they cut from that. So you're expecting some time down the road in that episode for them to show what what what those ideas were, and it was it was never shown. So I'm wondering
Speaker 0
You could be onto some there.
Speaker 1
If maybe in her, you know, her evening with Snurs, she may have put planted the idea in his in his ear, you know, be pillow talk Hey, I know. Why don't you put, you know, you know what? Get them riled up. You should flash their their calendar pictures on the wall like as big as you can in front of your fans. Anyway, That's
Speaker 1
Just my crackpot theory. Anyway, I I love this episode. It was a lot of fun. The, the the end Yeah. I I agree with you, Victor. It's kinda strange when they came in and stuff like that, but those are just plot devices and and, at in the at the end of the day, I don't look at those too closely. But, Anyways
Speaker 4
Also, Liam and Corey, that that scene there. I felt it wasn't funny. Like, I that that was another scene I had a problem with. Like, it it didn't serve a purpose.
Speaker 1
Well, it just served the purpose to to complete that story line. Right? Because throughout the whole thing, Corey's making fun of Liam for It's it's just completing that job. Right?
Speaker 4
That's all this. I guess. I guess. It was I don't know. I thought I again, like, A little more. A little more.
Speaker 6
There we go. Sorry about that.
Speaker 6
I mean, you guys touched on a lot of great points. I kind of agree with Victor that the the family scene did kind of it felt forced, but, like, yeah, then you guys, like, kinda mentioned how, like, they basically just, like, kinda showed that to show shows his family being in a life. And then they kinda bring that all together at the end. So, like, yeah, that kinda makes a bit more sense now, but I don't know. Like, after after the way that they set the tone with, Shoresi's family in the first season with that whole reunion going on, you were kind of expecting that kind of to happen again if you ended up seeing them again on on screen together and didn't quite quite hit that mark.
Speaker 6
it was still pretty fucking funny though. The whole show is making out with a dude thing. That was just like, wait, what? Like, what, yeah. No. I kind of agree with that. I also agree with, with Matt. Music for this episode was fucking spot on. Like, They're they're yeah. It just everything flowed so right. And, like you said, the cinematography and everything that kinda went with those tunes as well when they had them on, especially with the hockey at the end. Just oh, yeah. It was Jeff's kids. It was beautiful. Yeah. Like, no. This episode for me was, was like a definite ten out of ten. Yeah.
Speaker 1
No rating yet. No rating yet. Just
Speaker 4
That's okay. It's not a real rating ten out of ten. What the fuck
Speaker 0
is that? Ten out of ten is not gonna work. To our system so we're good there.
Speaker 6
True. Yeah. No. It's, yeah, the whole episode just just worked. And now I'm really looking forward to next season the way that they kinda left things there at the end. Yeah.
Speaker 1
I think they set up the storyline for next season. Right? So it's just gonna they're gonna do exactly like they did before. They're gonna fast forward through these these playoffs. The the the bulldogs are gonna win the championship again without a loss. And then season three is gonna focus on the I
Speaker 5
think they'll take us down the same path.
Speaker 1
The season three is gonna be about the national senior term.
Speaker 0
Right. I swear to God Dolby. So if he bypasses that and goes on to some new storyline, I'm a pissed I'm gonna be pissed this time.
Speaker 4
be a there's gonna be a quick, you know, collage, montage.
Speaker 0
Montage is then winning this senior championship, and then they're gonna be, like, moving to a new city
Speaker 0
No. You better show us that.
Speaker 1
Yeah. Alright. Let's move on to ratings, Tanya. What do you give this episode?
Speaker 5
Well, I predict the future. And, I'm are we are we at the prediction? What's gonna happen? And I
Speaker 5
is happening right now. Fresh
Speaker 1
clearance or compost.
Speaker 5
But I know you just set me up into the thinking of what's gonna happen happen anyways.
Speaker 4
Oh, can you ask more simpler questions?
Speaker 0
Can't handle this. Pretty nine more episodes.
Speaker 5
Of course, it's a fresh. It was a great episode. It had everything in it plus more.
Speaker 0
Yeah, it went over complicated. This one's just, like, last week, an extremely easy fresh.
Speaker 4
It wasn't that easy last week, Matt.
Speaker 0
Last for me, it was extremely easy. One of the one of the easiest ones I gave?
Speaker 4
Victor. Yeah. Obviously, it's a fresh. You know, I I I I called out some some things that I think could have been better. But at the end of the day, it's a fresh episode. I mean, just the hockey alone, was an credible. Yeah. Yeah. It was. And we got a whole game again. Yeah. It was such a dense, like, it it was more dense than your most densest rumball that you've ever had. And And, you know, and then we got a hole.
Speaker 5
And you say I'm at left field. Holy rumball. But,
Speaker 0
a dense rumball, I
Speaker 5
Dense rumball. Yeah. There you go. Okay.
Speaker 4
Oh, man. Like, there was so much packed in. And we and on top of that, we got a whole hockey game in there. Like, I mean, it was so well done. Like, the pacing is so well done.
Speaker 4
You know, again, a lot, you know, kudos to the editing and and everything like that and the sound production. But you know, all the nitpicky stuff aside. It's e easy fresh. Speaker 0
So hold on. I I wanna quickly just add on to it. So you talked about everything packed in. And I know I had what it issues was episode two, I think it was, or I felt overwhelmed by it. Yeah. And and I think what changed in four and four or five and six there was the pacing. Right? They crammed everything they could into these last two episodes as well, but I thought it flowed so much better, than that episode three. And that was my issue. That's why clearance came because I just I felt a little all over the place whereas these last two was like perfection in terms of Speaker 6
how they put them together. Speaker 1
In that episode three, you mentioned, we got a full game in that it as well. But every time we hit intermission, it's it came to a sudden stop, and it was it was quiet and and it was a lot happening in the locker room in the in the intermissions. And this one here, yeah, the frenetic pace throughout the whole game, even into the intermissions, there were quick cuts, handy cam like steady cams or whatever handheld or whatever you wanna call them. Yeah. It was really well done. And and it was the same music throughout, which indicated, like, this is kind of a montage, but with a little bit of a dialogue creeping in. So definitely. And, I mean, yes, this one here is an absolute fresh, probably my favorite episode of this season. So it does deserve. Rocket ships. Speaker 1
There's the unicorn. Speaker 3
my god. Oh my god. I regret nothing. Speaker 1
Victor with his plush unicorn. What is that? That unicorn's got bat wings. What's going on there? Speaker 4
I don't know. Ask trolley. He's the one who gave it. Speaker 1
Alright. Right. Right. That's not the first unicorn of the season, is it? Speaker 4
It's the first unicorn of the season that we've all been on air for. Speaker 1
Okay. Oh, right. Wow. Speaker 5
Right. Yeah. Because Victor was away, and we did a uniform. Speaker 1
Oh, that's why we just Speaker 0
used the unicorn. Chase gave you a unicorn on your behalf. Speaker 4
Yeah. Trace always gave gives you, you know, he doesn't count. Speaker 0
I mean, in all fairness, Trace wanted to remove some of your previous Yeah. Speaker 4
Yeah. I know. That's why he's the qualify. You Speaker 1
wanna rewrite some TPS system. Speaker 5
But you gave it a a unicorn when you came back. So it was a true unicorn. Speaker 1
Andrew, the pressure's off, but you don't have to you don't have to give this one a fresh video on to. The unicorn is in the post. We don't Speaker 5
know what ten out of ten means. Speaker 1
Yeah. We don't know what ten. Speaker 0
that radio system. Speaker 4
All I know is there's two zeros Speaker 1
in there. Can you translate for us? What ten out of ten? Speaker 0
I wanna hear anything about stars either. Speaker 6
Let's see. Well, I think I'm gonna have to give it a fresh. I mean, you can't can't look down on this episode in a new shape way. I mean, other than, like, a few, like, little key things Speaker 6
Kiso, a few little key things. Yeah, it's a fresh. Absolutely. Full seasoned. Speaker 1
Excellent. Alright. MVPs. Do you know who you have? Speaker 1
You're up first. Speaker 5
It is absolutely hands down Shore's age. Shoresy saw it. He had the vision for it. He fought for it. He, he berated the the guys for it. Thankfully, he didn't do it this round Speaker 1
broke his own rule, though. He's a HIPAA person. Speaker 5
He did break his own rule, but come on. It's Laura. Speaker 1
Like That's why Victor likes Shoresy so much because he's a hip belt. Speaker 5
If you're gonna break the rule. Yeah. But, you know, okay. So anyways, Yeah. He broke the rule, naughty boy, but he wasn't mean to the guys. He was motivating. He was in the locker. Everything was good. He He brought it for nat. He brought it for the guys. He he he just he he really did. He got the the stick, game stick. Speaker 0
Yeah. I'll quickly lead with I I I don't know if I've told you guys this before, but I'm not a really big sports guy. So That is true, but I'm fascinated. Speaker 1
But you are on the number one sports podcast according to Who knew. Speaker 3
Right? Thoughts. Speaker 0
I'm a sports matter expert now, man. Speaker 0
funny. Look at number one. Why why ad's important here is I always talk about I love sports movies and sports stores and stuff like that. And I am a hundred percent with Tanya and this one, Shoresy gets the MVP. When I looked at good stories, I wanna feel something. Speaker 0
he brought all the feels this episode. Every moment in this where you're like, had even a slightly choked up moment or something made you feel good. Sure as he was leading that moment. And you're right. He brought the team together. He brought Yeah. Speaker 1
Sorry. You you reminded me of something. At the very end of the game, when they do those quick little flashbacks to those scenes throughout I love that. That was great. So good. Yeah. Speaker 0
So good. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 0
I should I should have called that out too because that's what I mean. That's the feels right there. Right? Speaker 4
Yeah. And and a shot of him dancing and smiling with that good, good, misterallows. Speaker 0
It's just so it made me so happy. And and sure as he would let that happy in this episode. So he gets. And of course, huge honorable mention to the to butchery and the crew behind the scenes, Speaker 0
is delivering such amazing visual content. Speaker 1
Awesome. So who's your MVP? Speaker 1
Really? Okay. Sorry. Victor. Speaker 0
I said a lot, though, and also And Speaker 1
he said a lot, so Speaker 4
Oh, oh, am I giving mine? Are you guys not doing the guest? No. We're not no. Go. Speaker 1
Wait. Alright. Go. Speaker 0
No. No. Alright. No. Speaker 1
Thank you. Because I think Gordon guessed it in the in the live stream already, what Victor's Speaker 4
So I I know we only got it for a very quick second, and we've all visualized it. And we can't unsee it now that we have. Speaker 4
It will be definitely Oompa loompa's mitt. Oh, Speaker 1
Okay. So, actually, Gordon was kinda close. Yes. Speaker 0
What did Gordon say? Speaker 1
Gord said the spray tan. Speaker 0
Oh, yeah. Fair enough. Yes. It's in the right music, the right ballpark. Speaker 6
Yeah. Yeah. It is where Speaker 4
the sun don't shine. Yeah. Speaker 1
Amazing. Yes. So that was gonna be my runner-up to spray ten because that's a joke that paid off so well. Like, through there's a so that's another thing. They set up jokes throughout the season and then the payoff is right on the very last episode. So Corey and Liam with the whole walkie talkie thing, they they they they paid that one off. The spray, the the calendars, they pay play they paid that one off. All of those jokes. But yeah, I can't I can't think of anyone who did more heavy lifting in this episode than Shoresy. So it's gotta be Shoresy for sure. So It's almost a unicorn Speaker 5
for sure. Sure. They're Victor. Speaker 0
It's never been a uni. I think it's only ever once been a unicorn on MVP because of one weird momly with Victor. But, anyways, Andrew. Speaker 6
Gotta go with Shoresy boys. Yeah. There you go. Speaker 1
Excellent. Okay. Speaker 5
So let's disqualify Victor's vote for the MVP and Andrew did it. So then we get to play So Speaker 1
really quickly here, Predict the future. No. We're doing that next episode or our recap with Oh, okay. Speaker 5
wanna do it now. Speaker 1
K. Quickly, give us a pre preview of your prediction for next week. Speaker 5
I think they're gonna be playing for next week. Speaker 1
Yeah. Next week, we're doing a recap. There's season two recap with the EasternTR. Speaker 0
You can just cut this out and put it in next week. Speaker 3
Yeah. I'll just I'll Speaker 1
tell you it again. Yeah. Speaker 4
us what we're gonna be talking about next week. Speaker 5
I predict. That they're gonna be playing too many games between the sheets and there's not gonna be a trophy Speaker 5
On the national. Speaker 1
Well, I mean, it's Victor's favorite word. Right? There must be some come up ins for Shoresi to break his own rule. So we'll see if that happens. Quick. I just wanna do a flashback to last week and and and the amazing conversations we had. I actually put up a scientific Twitter poll yesterday, asking Speaker 0
I love science, man. Speaker 1
Asking folks. If they listen to the interview, and if they thought that, mcpherson deserved the beat down. And, it was closed for a while, but then, one, one side pulled away. Seventy five point nine percent said, yes, he deserved it. He was hot dogging. So it's almost eighty percent. Speaker 4
Sanity prevails. Speaker 1
No. It's not. And, no, twenty four point one percent said, no, it was over the top. So So Speaker 0
how did you feel today, Al? When the gyms came out and destroyed Palmer at the beginning. Speaker 1
Well, Palmer's a POS. Right? Speaker 0
So it does Well, we know that. Speaker 1
We know that. No. No. I mean, the the the character. He's the villain. Speaker 0
I know. That's what I'm talking about. Speaker 1
So he deserved it. He what he did, he deserved it. But anyway, my my argument is that McFearson didn't deserve it. So Yeah. We move on to Speaker 4
And and Gordon, I I I who's no. It wasn't Gordon. It was, Adrian, I think, made a point that, you know, First time, maybe, but the second time, he got a warning. He got a warning. That's not gonna happen. Let me do it again. Speaker 3
If I'm gonna do something down this Speaker 1
Just see how I hope to bear. Speaker 1
There's, some big news that came out today Speaker 1
letter Kenny world. Well, there's a couple of things. The first one here, it, redirected these stupid ads continued Speaker 5
stuff. And say what does that have? Anything to do with letter, Katie? Speaker 1
Jared. Yeah. What is it? Letter Kenny creator, Jerry Kisler strikes. First of its kind, contact packed with Krave and new metrics. So basically, the long and the short of this is, they, crave a new metric have signed a deal with letter with queso to, subsequently make forty nine episodes of Letter Kenny spin offs, including Shoresy and other potential shows across several years. Speaker 1
So we have at least another forty nine episodes of this podcast to look forward to at least. So that'll be interesting. So do you think Speaker 5
they got that accurate or are they just teasing Speaker 1
with it? Well, if that forty nine includes season three of Shoresy, so there's only six episodes there. What else could there be? Speaker 4
Well, that's easy. I I think I think a squirrely Dan and Katie are gonna have a spin off. It they're gonna do a live action of the farming simulator, popular video game that's kind of taken off all over the world. Speaker 5
I feel, like, there really, really needs to be some sort of they like, there needs to be that Shoresy and Wayne are cousins or brothers or, like, long lost, whatever. Cause he is adopted. Right? So there could be a connection out there somehow, some way to, like, tie that all together. Speaker 1
Here's what I'm thinking. The Shore Family. There is a lot of potential there for a spin off series. Every because that there's a lot of backstories there that have been set up over the last couple of episodes that could spin off into a potential show about that family. And the only reason I'm thinking of that is because the Shores use a spin off from Letter Kenny because it's Kiso you know, is the main character in both shows. So I can't see there being a another spin off where Kiso isn't involved somehow on screen. There might be. But if he's creating it and writing it, I I I imagine he'd wanna act in it as well. So does that mean there's gonna be yet another character that he's gonna act? Or is he going to act as Wayne and or Shoresy in another spin off? And, to me, a Shore family spin off kinda makes sense. And I know that sucks because a lot of people are looking for tennis spin off, which I would be one hundred percent in favor. Or skid spin off or whatever, but, I don't know. I know Victor isn't, but, anyway, it's it's it give us a lot to talk about over the next No. Speaker 0
Like, like, one theory I had, and and what I would like to see, I thought it'd be interesting to see a rosy spin off. And those that period of time that she wasn't Speaker 1
there. An Vancouver? Sorry. With the dog rescue? Speaker 0
Yeah. The spin off, like, who knows where she went? There could have been something there to bite on to. I I like Rosie as a character. I like Clark as an actress. I'd love to see more of her. I think There's a whole period of time there that they could explore where she's not involved Mhmm. And where she goes. One idea. Speaker 1
Andrew, what do you think? Do you have any ideas of what the what possible spin off could happen? Speaker 6
I have no idea. All I know is it's gonna be good. Speaker 1
Yeah. And Jared, we trust. Right? Speaker 6
Right. Like, I I, yeah. I mean, there's there's a lot of ways you could go with this now. Because there's a lot of great, like, people who can end up leading a cast, but Speaker 0
Oh, for sure. I'm looking forward to Speaker 1
it. A ten is spin off makes a bunch of sense. Speaker 5
Oh, it really does. Speaker 1
And, again, though, like, would short would would Kiso create and write a show that he's not in. I don't know. Maybe he will. We'll see. But, if not, then he's playing a different character, and that'll be interesting to see. Speaker 3
maybe he could oh. Speaker 6
gonna say, like, maybe if he they were gonna do, like, another show like that. Maybe he could play, like, the Torins role where he play somebody, like, know a dick who, like, shows up every couple of episodes, makes you laugh and then disappears. Right? Like Speaker 5
They should play a dick. Spin off. Speaker 1
Well, so what you you you you mentioned that. And another piece of news is both Krave and Hulu just released trailers for season twelve. Krave Craves is more of a teaser. Who loses a full on trailer with a bunch of different scenes. And in one of the scenes, and we're gonna have some fun with this in the after show, but one of the scenes squarely Dan is dressed up in full men in there. Yeah. I Speaker 5
Oh, I haven't seen. Speaker 1
So, you know, I'm not spoiling anything because if you see the trailer, you'll see the does that mean then he he ends up with Lavina and does that mean the spin off could be squirrely Dan mennonite? I mean, Speaker 4
Oh, that's very cool, Speaker 5
like I said. Yeah. Oh my god. I love. Speaker 1
and then Wayne just kinda shows up every once in a while. Speaker 5
I love the dick so much. Speaker 0
It could be called fucking Dan Run. Speaker 5
Oh, I love it. I love it. Love it. Speaker 1
So, I mean, there's so many possibilities. Like, they've they've actually It's funny how we talk about how how two dimensional a lot of these characters are, but there are so many possibilities for, especially since what what he was able to do with Shoresy. You know, turn a really two dimensional character into this. Yeah, I think the possibilities are. Speaker 4
There's also coach spin off, though, they already had a show named coach. So they'd have to think of a different name. Speaker 1
Call it fucking embarrassing. Yeah. And, I mean, we've heard what Kiso thinks of of, Mark Forward. So Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Alright. Let's move on to oh, and Yeah. That's it. That's all I have. So let's move on to final comments, Tanya. What do you have to say? Speaker 5
This was great. Andrew, thank you so much for coming out. I love your perspective. That was a lot of fun. Thank you so much. And it Speaker 5
great to me. I can't believe tiny was this year. I, like, that was so long ago, but thank you for reminding me that was just that was just the summer. This was a lot of fun. I can't wait for, we've we're coming into Christmas now, and we're coming into season twelve. So we're gonna have a lot to, have homework on again. So this is super exciting and lots of fun. Lots to look forward to. Speaker 1
So the idea here is we're gonna have Next week, our our season, season two, Shoresy recap. The following week are Ag Hall. We're gonna have a holiday Ag Hall social with all our friends. The week after that between Christmas and New Year's, I'm thinking of doing a letter Kenny presents, a wrap up with, with everyone who went to that show. And I might have a a surprise guest for that one. So we'll see. And then we'll start the the letter Kenny season twelve reviews in the new year. So that's the the plan right now. So we we don't have homework until January. But anyway, I will be watching on Christmas day. Speaker 5
Is that what you're doing? Speaker 0
Yeah. It's, so Andrew, great to see you, bud. Definitely gonna have to make my way up to Wasega this summer, and, we'll we'll connect for sure. Speaker 1
Take the boys. Go carton. Speaker 0
That's right, man. Hey, we Speaker 4
should all go. We should all go. Speaker 0
TPS goes go karting. I'm gonna go Speaker 4
And and they have a great golf course there with zebras. So we can Speaker 0
this might be one of the best ideas you've had. So, like, it's the best fucking idea I've ever heard. Like Speaker 4
Hello? I'm surprised we're not there right now. Speaker 5
Let's do it. We'll get the snowmobiles out. Speaker 0
That sounds like it's already gonna happen. Cool. We're in. Speaker 0
It's also sad. I mean, that's sad that we wrapped up another season. I really enjoyed this one. It was fucking fantastic. So that's sad, but great to know that the other one is almost can, and we have Letter Kenny twelve, even though that's also sad. Speaker 0
But we have more episodes to review coming. So lots of awesome stuff ahead, Yeah. I love this. Thanks, guys. Speaker 4
What good energy, Matt? Thank you for bringing some good energy, to the show. Speaker 0
You're welcome, bud. Speaker 4

Looks like there's gonna be endless amounts of reviews to do. Forty nine episodes, above and beyond Letter Kenny coming out. Speaker 1
We we've got some new patrons in line for for season twelve. Speaker 4
Yeah. Well, I it's really, really great. And, yeah, I can't wait till we are all, you know, having fun at the beach next next summer. Speaker 1

It was great to have you on TPS match game. I I wanna do that again. I I don't know. Was that fun for you and as like a participant? Speaker 6

Oh, yeah. Awesome. Yeah. I wanna do more of those. I think those are a lot of fun. Anyway, thanks for for coming on. And and You you scored the season finale. So, that was awesome. Thank you so much.

Speaker 1

Speaker 6
Well, I'm like, I'll throw one on, like, while I'm doing something at work. Sometimes, like, when I know I'm gonna like, at least a half hour, forty five minutes of uninterrupted, like, the only thing that's going to interrupt me is myself. Right. Yeah, like, now you guys make the you guys make amazing background noise. I love you all so
Speaker 0
Thanks, Beth. That's the best compliment right now.
