The live stream of tonight's podcast is made possible by our buddy Ian service over at podcast accelerator dot com. Speaker 1
That's fresh produce stand there. That's a beauty. Speaker 3
you use listen to? Speaker 4
My favorite murder podcast. Speaker 5
Taggart and Dorns podcast. The produce stand. Speaker 0
It's Thursday, Thursday. And that means we are once again hanging at the protoscan. A podcast covering everything in that. You universe Now I know what you're thinking. There are many a lot of Kenny podcasts out there, but this one's about to get reactive. I'm Aliyah hosts and joining me in the room as always is lovely Tanya and online we don't have Matt tonight because he's got a sick boy and he's tending to that. But we have the very reactive Victor and filling in for Matt. We have the lovely Casey And so tonight is just gonna be the o g cast here. And we're going to watch some, behind the scenes letter Kenny stuff. But before we do, let's get going with this. Speaker 6
How are you now? Speaker 0
Tonight's lineup is going to be Victor, Tanya, Casey, and myself. Victor, how have you been? Speaker 4
Great. And I I I like how you included Casey in the o g cost. Speaker 2
I know. I got that too. You o g, girl? Speaker 3
got somebody else said it. Speaker 3
Give me daddy flutters. Speaker 0
When you're filling in for Matt, you're you're going all out. You're going you're you're you are Matt. We should probably start calling you Matt, but Yeah. Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. One of us. Speaker 7
You're not calling me back. Speaker 4
So my my my week was, I don't know. I don't know, Al. I feel like, it's a short week. So it it means you have to do twice the work. I wonder if it's worth it sometimes, but yes, the answer is always it's worth it. But, yeah, I don't know. I don't even know what I, it feels like no time has passed since last time we were here. So I I don't know what I did. I did watch a movie. Oh, hockey season started. That's right. That's exciting. Speaker 0
And those are crazy game with Elise last night. Speaker 4
That was an expected typical leaf game. Speaker 4
Where where you realize what a garbage team that is, and then they come back and somehow win. Mhmm. But then you will still walk away realizing they're probably one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Yeah. But then you go into your watch or see the highlights of the Edmonton Vancouver game because everyone's calling Edmonton to have a great season because they've got the best player in the world. Mhmm. And they go and lose eight to one on opening night. So, and then you realize maybe you don't have the worst team in the league. There's worse teams than than yours. So there's, you know, those kinds of things. Eight one. That's Speaker 7
fucking embarrassing. In New Speaker 4
Jersey's playing tonight. I'm excited about that. But, I'm not watching. I'm here. I'm present. And and then I was gonna say I watched a movie called nowhere on Netflix. It's us. I think it's a Spanish movie. Mhmm. And it's about this, pregnant woman who gets separated from a husband and she's stuck in a in in a crate. Speaker 8
Why? A container? Speaker 4
Like a container? Because they they were being they were, like, refugees trying to get, you know Speaker 0
Oh, like, a shipping container. Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. Shipping. Oh, no. And so her so everybody in her container was murdered, and she was the only one she was hiding behind a box. Speaker 0
Oh, so feel a good movie. Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. So so the container gets placed on the ship, and then the ship gets into heavy, waters, and and there was a storm in it fell off the ship into the ocean, and then she's in the middle of the ocean, and she's inside the container. And she's pregnant. And then she has the baby in by herself in the container and somehow they have to survive. And I'm not gonna say what's gonna happen because it's actually it wasn't it wasn't bad. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the movie. So I I kinda recommend it if you're into those kinds of, suspenseful, thrillers. Speaker 0
Alright. I mean, it sounds intriguing. Speaker 4
Maybe. What's gonna happen? Speaker 0
What's gonna happen? Speaker 4
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Speaker 0
I I feel like I can guess, but okay. Thanks Speaker 4
for having me. You can't. No. You can't. No. Speaker 0
Does a tiger show up, you know, like in life of pi and Speaker 4
Exactly. No. It's it's it's, I'm not gonna say what happens, but it's a it's a good movie. Go in and watch it and you'll enjoy it. Speaker 3
I'm gonna bet money that you're not spoiling it for anyone. Speaker 4
I haven't said anything. Speaker 3
No. I mean, even if you told us what happened, it would be alright. Speaker 4
Yeah. Well, you know what? You can dismiss it if you want. But I'm not. All I'm Speaker 3
inviting you to share. Mhmm. Speaker 4
Alright. No. No. I'm not. I'm not. You got you have to go and watch it. Speaker 7
Okay. We I'll check it. I'll throw it. I'll add it Speaker 0
to my queue. So right now, there's a long list of movies that are that are ahead of it, but I will definitely think about checking Speaker 3
If I told you the genre wasn't a personal preference, Speaker 7
would you DM me the end to satisfy me or Speaker 0
He's being paid by the by the producers to get as many people to watch it as possible. You you mentioned it's a Spanish movie, so it's like subtitles. Do I Speaker 2
have to read it? Speaker 4
It's they they have a dub. So the dubbed version is actually pretty good. So so you can enjoy it. Alright. Speaker 0
I will think about it. Tanya, how have you been? Speaker 2
have been busy, busy busy. So it was Thanksgiving weekend. We did many dinners. I got a new pair of glasses. I'm so so excited, and they're not on. But I have ordered them and I got them for, a super awesome price as opposed to a ridiculous price that I was given originally. So I am super excited about that. Speaker 0
Tanya has joined the, the the lead gen recosco shoppers for for eyewear. Yes. Speaker 2
It's just a it it blew my mind. Like, blew blew blew my mind. So my Speaker 0
Casey's like, wait a minute. I think those were were one of the pairs that you tried on. Speaker 0
looks looks for you. Speaker 4
say Costco. You got it from Costco to Costco classes. Speaker 4
get like a bulk the bulk deal? Speaker 0
they're like way cheaper than when we buy from our optometrists. Speaker 2
Yeah. Our optometrists wanted, seven hundred dollars just for my lenses to put in old frames. And I thought, oh my god. I know I was blind and and problematic, but I didn't know I was that expense. Expensive. And then it turns out that I can get, like, lenses clip on, sunglasses and and and my lenses and my frames for three hundred. So half the price. And I was like, what? But I'm I'm like, so there's no warranty. They're like, no, no, it's a warranty. And I'm you Speaker 0
can't Costco. You can return anything to Costco. Speaker 2
And they're like, no, no. It's the same thinness, same everything. And I'm like, so I won't have the sides to look through. No. No. You'll have the sides. So I I, again, I'm I'm a little dumbfounded as to how I went from six hundred or seven hundred to, a buck fifty or a hundred and fifty for the lenses. But anyways, it's all good. So I'm excited about that. And then it's our daughter's birthday coming up this weekend. She's gonna be double digits. And, so that is super exciting. We have a lot of things planned, and, I'm trying to organize and staying up late. And, trying to do as much as I can, to get ready for that. And, yeah, we're doing an escape room. So we tested that out, last month and escape room. Speaker 0
of weeks ago, we went. Yeah. Speaker 2
And, we're going to, rip the cord and do it with her friends now. So that will be I'm sure they'll Speaker 4
That was a mirror museum. Speaker 0
Oh, that that's next weekend with, with my cousins. Speaker 2
Yeah. So her her cousin, that's your older Speaker 0
is gonna last the entire week. Speaker 2
Oh, it's it's it's a month long event. I'm I'm teaching her the proper way. You just celebrate your birthday as much as possible. Able. Enjoy. Enjoy. Enjoy. Enjoy. So that's what she's doing, and that's what we're doing. So it's gonna be I'm I'm really looking forward to it. It's gonna be a lot of fun. And we've got to oh, my goodness. And, my daughter and I got into the show Wednesday. We're trying to find Halloween things to watch. And, so we've, came across the, I think it's on Netflix. Speaker 0
Yeah. One second. Speaker 2
And, oh my god. Is that ever good. Like, super good. Like really good. Speaker 4
Only stream it on Wednesdays? Speaker 2
That's a negative. No. Speaker 0
Only on the weekends. Speaker 2
That's a negative. It it is, like, So her and I, had a had to do nothing cuddle cuddle day on Sunday, and we, just veg in her in her bed and we had the TV in her room and we just cuddled in and had breakfast in bed and watched Wednesday back to back and it was phenomenal. Love it. And we have two episodes left to go because we binged it. And I cannot wait. Like, it's repeating in my head. I want to watch it so badly. So there you go. Speaker 0
Y y z gourd says Costco glasses are the best deal. They have their own lenses as well. So, yes. Yeah. And Michelle says great tip. Thanks. So I think we we got and by the way, Costco is not a a sponsor here, but, you know, if you wanna be Speaker 5
Bring a dinghy You're massive. Yeah. Speaker 4
and you can watch nowhere while you're going to Costco on your phone. Speaker 7
go. Just shake your head. Speaker 0
Yeah. Nohere is not a sponsor either. Casey, thank you. Oh. First of all, thank you Speaker 0
Joining us last second. I I I slid into your DM and said, hey, Matt can't make it. You would you like to meet Matt tonight? And you said, yes. Thank you. Speaker 2
Absolutely. Always. Yeah. I love it. Speaker 7
like we just did Speaker 0
a McMurray Wayne thing there. It's like, I'm waiting for you. Speaker 3
Yeah. We did. No. Speaker 7
You and then you. No. I know. And then Well, I just go. Okay. How have Speaker 3
My week has been exactly, like, the last fifteen seconds of this podcast has been fun, rewarding, and completely chaotic. Right? Just chaos. I too started watching Wednesday, but I have boys and they need to go to bed early and they like to watch other things. And so I watched it by myself and I love it Speaker 3
The same way you do, but I'm only two episodes in. And then I also recently watched the movie election Speaker 0
from nineteen ninety nine. Speaker 3
Twenty years ago. Featuring Matthew Broderick and Chris Witherspoon. Speaker 0
Oh, that was a good one. Yeah. Speaker 3
On the recommendation of Tobias. Mhmm. Actually. Speaker 3
And it was a really good. Matthew Broderick was, mwah, chef's kiss in that movie. He's, like, young enough, but not Ferris Bueller Young. Speaker 3
But not, like, current Matthew Broderick Old either. He he's just in that daddy zone. That's yeti. Speaker 7
Oh, he was just if you've Speaker 3
never seen the movie. Speaker 0
He was just in that gen Jennifer Lawrence movie. He played, if you if you've seen that one, it's it's pretty raunchy. It's but it's it's it's okay. It's it it's a ranch comedy, but, yeah, he's the the a father in that movie. Speaker 3
He was also one of the, big pharma dudes in one of those opioid movies Speaker 3
That Victor was talking about. Speaker 4
That that that was a terrible show. Just go watch the other one. Speaker 0
Oh, right. Yeah. You were talking about Speaker 3
Right. Right. Yeah. Other than that, things are things are good. I'm just exhausted and happy to be here as always. Speaker 0
Oh, we're we're happy to have you. My week, it's been, I mean, busy. I'm just a broken record at this point. You know, season, you know, five of, yes, we were open. I'm on working on episode three as we speak. No. Well, not right now, but this week, that's what I've been working on. Yeah, Thanksgiving was this past, weekend in Canada. But I also and and I was reminded. Thank you, Trace, for reminding me, but it was Indigenous Day in the US. So which is probably what we should rename Thanksgiving up here. But, anyway, yeah. But so there's that in terms of Speaker 3
So that's our Columbus day. Speaker 0
Right. Yeah. Yeah. You guys Yeah. Yeah. So we had, you know, we had lasagna on Saturday, and we had turkey on on No. It was, like, on Sunday and and turkey. Speaker 2
Traditional. Thanksgiving lasagna, you know? Yeah. We do it up like that. Speaker 0
good, you know, hanging out with family. And, yeah, in terms of, like, what we're we've been watching. So, we just finished sex ed, season season four, and it's apparently that's last season, which is kinda sad because that's Speaker 4
Don't don't give it away. Really Speaker 0
great a great chill. Speaker 2
The actor is Eric that I am in love with. Oh my god. He is the happiest, cheerful. Speaker 0
Oh, the character. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 2
I just, I just love him so much. Speaker 0
And now we've started only murderers in the building. So we're two episodes into that and, two or one. I forget. Anyway, so so far so good. Now that one there is is is fun. Yeah. And then tonight, if my voice sounds a little deeper than usual because I had my, like, a first band practice I've had in two months. And, it was a little out of shape, but, I got through it and it was a lot of fun and cleared a lot of out of my lungs. But, yeah, that's been my week. And now we're here and we're going to have a little fun, but let's let's have a little coffee first and let's listen to Alexander. Oh, Speaker 0
You work here now Speaker 9
It's a man who go to sleep with itchy butt, wake up with smelly finger. Speaker 9
Welcome to diabolic coffee. My name is Alexander. How might I help you? Right. Speaker 0
I was needing a coffee. Thanks. Speaker 9
Well, now at diabolical Coffee, we say we have a roast for every taste. How would you describe your taste? Speaker 0
I mean, I like Coffee. Speaker 9
Grind is very important too. We have a standard grind of course. Of course. And of course, we also have a coarse grind. Right. Now some folks don't trust their grind into strangers, so we offer whole bean as well. For instance, these peruvian beans are of course from Peruvian, which if memory serves me is where your family hails from. Speaker 9
But so that's like a taste of home. What? Did you know we also have espresso or as is known in Italy Expresso? Speaker 0
You know, the hand gestures don't make that right. Speaker 9
We also have k cups, which keeps the coffee from getting on the outside of the pot. Which I must admit, I've never been a fan of. Speaker 9
Now, I'm not sure if you're familiar with the produce stand. Rings a bell. Now for some reason, if you put that in the promo code, this guy, Eric, gives you twenty percent off your purchase, but I'd keep that under my hat. Speaker 0
Yeah. Secret safe with me. Gonna go look at the diabolically awesome swag. Speaker 9
It'll give you twenty percent off of that too. You just can't beat that deal. I don't care who you are. Right. Speaker 0
Thank you, Alexander. Speaker 9
Don't thank me. Think diabolical coffee. Speaker 0
You're right. Thank you diabolical coffee and Eric for your support. Speaker 9
That guy, Eric, must be a good guy. But not very savvy if you ask me. Giving away twenty percent left and right, all will and nilly. Speaker 0
Thank you, Eric, and speaking of support, welcome not so new Twitter followers. And here's what you'll you'll understand when I say some of these names, Casey from North Carolina. Yes. That casey from, from the from the discord group. Philip Strope from Hannah Han, South Carolina. Lola blue seventy two Linda from Melbourne, Florida. Travis stick sticking from Indiana, Anderson Ross Thompson, Ash SIM from Canadian, b Gidry from Wisco. I'm gonna guess that's Wisconsin. Jadubbs, salty, goon squad Tom from Richmond, Virginia, Daniel. Daniel Wolf from New York. Yeah. There's another rich, Virginia there for you. Goon squad Tom, if you wanna look him up Lindsey. Speaker 7

Previously, on letter Speaker 0
Last week, our buddy Tobias kicked out his favorite McMurrying moments, and we chatted about his visit to Toronto to take in a Wutan clan show. And that was a lot of fun this week. We're going to watch some behind the scenes and react to some behind the scenes letter Kenny, scenes from season two. So we're going way back for these. Last time we did this. So season one stuff, and, it it worked out pretty well. So gonna do it again and I Speaker 2
Are you gonna give the, the, close caption? Speaker 0
I I will try to if if something needs explaining or describing, I will try to remember to to describe, remind me if I forget. I needed an easy week this week. So this is what we're doing today. So let's Oh, wait. I forgot my, yeah. Yeah. I had one job, and I've already missed it. Well, don't bore us. Speaker 1
Get to the chorus. Speaker 0
Here we go. We're gonna start with the first video which is called Letter Kenny season two behind the scenes back for season two. So, let's, I'm gonna share my screen here. Where is my screen share? Here we go. Now let's get her started. Speaker 6
Being back for season two. It's, you know, it's, pretty surreal. All things considered, you know, like, when we were shooting the show, last season, you know, we had a lot of laughs. We were pretty sure we had a good thing. We all feel, very fortunate. We all have the goal to, to make it as good or better as as season one. Speaker 7
Yeah. We're through I mean, obviously, we're thrilled to have a second season. It's great to be working with Jared again. Speaker 5
Yes? We got that. And it's great to be back here and working with the cast Speaker 7
a we have a pretty fun time doing this show. Speaker 1
Alright. I didn't tell the boys. Speaker 10
Last year, we started the show. It was super exciting because we're coming off the success of YouTube videos. Now it's coming off the success of the YouTube videos and the first season, and people just pumped to be here. We got all the locals everyone in town just really jazz and supportive, ever, everything. Speaker 7
I think like any second season of a show, we just know what we're doing now. We we we have a much more confident sense of what this show is, what works for us, what doesn't. You know, a first season is always kind of feeling your way through things and trying things. You know, you kind of have to try things and see if they work or they don't. And, we think we've found, you know, we're closer to fighting Speaker 7
spot of what makes Letter Kenny special. Speaker 10
But walking in is more little more coincident. How Speaker 5
I could also do the full handle Speaker 0
on your business. Speaker 6
Working with Jacob again. You know, that that guy sets the bar extremely high. He is really, invaluable to to to this process. He's Speaker 6
the crew. He's so good with the cast, all the actors. And, you know, not not to mention one of my best bowels. So it's, nothing short of a treat to work with Jacob again. Speaker 10
The, the hockey players are, they're rebounding after Katie's left them. And now they've been, bumped up to a senior level hockey team. So they're going from being the, the cool guys in the team to now being the Schmelt themselves. Pretty excited to see how that plays out. The skids have a little bit of, issues on their own as Stewart has now shacked up with Katie. There's a little bit of romantic drama there. And, Wayne's looking for love again. So he's back in the hunt now looking for love. Very excited about Bart's New Yorkie. There are a couple of hockey players, new hockey players for the senior team to let her Kenny Irish. Speaker 0
They gave me today. Speaker 6
We've got, Melanie Skurfano in to play Missus McMurray as well, and and that girl is a barrel of monkeys. You know, she, just a a a a real funny lady and and and a real pro. The audience reception to Letter Kenny has just been been mind blowing. You know, it's coming from everywhere. You know, the state's Australia, Ireland where where where letter Kenny is. But people are are watching the show. People are liking it, and they're talking about it. Is great for our cause, you know, and say they're the MVP and all this. And and, there are means to to to keep it going. So So keep it up. Speaker 2
Oh my god. You're so cute. Oh my god. Did you Speaker 3
see him wink at me? Did you see that? Speaker 2
Oh my god. Let's just play that last little bit that week. Speaker 3
Could you take it back and just do a full screen? Speaker 3
opportunity. But what Speaker 0
No. Let's let's talk about it. So Victor would I mean, that was Speaker 2
Just sit here. It's like talk Speaker 0
That was from way back. Speaker 3
I did this myself. Speaker 0
Do you remember any of those stories? Alright. Speaker 4
Let the girls get it out. Let me Speaker 3
you're No. It's fine. Keep going. Get her done. Go on. Speaker 0
Do you remember any of those storylines? Speaker 3
I can do two things at once. Speaker 4
She's still going. So, Yeah. You know, what's neat is just listening to them talk as regular people and not as actors, or as their characters, I mean. Yeah. Because for me, like, Yeah. You know what? I mean, Kiso, he, you know, he plays two different characters. One more exaggerated than the other. And then when he speaks like himself, it's not so so much of a shock, but Jacob, like, Glenn is so out there Yeah. Yeah. That when he speaks like a regular guy, you just think, wow, that's some acting chops. So so I that's kind of what I think about. It's just really neat. I it's always neat to see kind of these people that you only see as characters on TV, and then you see them as themselves. It's for me that's always, you know, you start to learn about who they are and what they are. So I really appreciate that, Tim. Speaker 2
I I yeah. I I don't get I don't do these deep dives. On on the show. And I don't see behind the scenes, like, ever, ever. So this is literally my first time seeing it. And, yeah, Victor, you're absolutely right. Like seeing them for who they are and and speaking as they are as who they as whatever the word I'm trying to use. Right. Speaker 0
another sip of wine, man. Speaker 2
It's been a long day, man. It's been a long day. Yeah, It it it's it's just it it's heartwarming because you just you wanna surround yourself with them in some way. And and just you you have to wonder how a person, what it takes for a person to be that person, to be, like, Kiso where everything just grows from him. Careful, Casey. It just it just grows. Speaker 0
Casey isn't touching that one. Speaker 0
Although she wants to. Speaker 2
She's not gonna I I I I hear what I said after I said it. Anyways, I I I it's just It's it's it's and the how so what year was this when this, this one went out? Speaker 0
That one would see. What's the year? Speaker 2
Six years ago. They they do. They look so young. Mhmm. And, and that was fun to see too. Is is, yeah. Oh my gosh. What a great show. Speaker 2
I could just keep on going and going. Speaker 0
We have a lot of video content to go here. People saw. Speaker 3
Oh, Jared winked at me. That's all I have to say about this clip. Speaker 0
That's it. Yep. Alright. The things that hit me from this clip, seeing Billy there before before he was head of photography, he was just one of the camera people, but he's in there. Seeing Devon there, you know, still in there. Seeing them that scene from relationships because it's still one of my top favorite episodes as him sitting across from I forget her name, but the two hard date, like, just I I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when they were shooting those scenes And, and they're very new with each other still. This is the beginning of season two, and there's still I mean, you know, later on, like, we've seen stuff where they're acting, you know, on IG, where they're like family. And this is still before that. This is still them kind of feeling each other out. He's he's introducing Melanie Scrofano as missus Mcmarie. So that's the first time. Speaker 2
That was interesting. Speaker 0
And some of the day players, that, you know, that they mentioned later on, we, you know, turn out to be Dickens and and, and some of the other, like, day players. So the some of the other, like, secondary characters So, yeah, it's it's really cool to see, to see, you know, where the how far they've come from just that first scene or that second season. Sorry. Alright. Let's see. This next video here we're gonna watch is behind the scenes, and this is all about filming and sugary. So this should be fun for us to watch. Since we've been there. Speaker 6
Subbury has been awesome. There's always there's always place to go for a beer, you know, if we wrap late or or if we wrap early, we've got our spots around the town, and and then the people are really nice to us here, you know, and we have these, casting calls for background performers. Speaker 0
Where you drove on with the Speaker 6
This is my fourth time shooting in Subbury down. Speaker 10
Every day, it's growing and growing. The experience level is amazing. The crews are fantastic here. We got a lot of great day players that are coming out. So it's, no, every every day that goes by, there's more and more experience, new experiences, and bigger shows that are coming in and out of the city. Speaker 7
A lot of terrific crews A lot of people are really kind. We know it better. I know I know the which restaurants I like to go to more now, you know? I know where to get my coffee. Speaker 6
The chicken wing game in in in suudbury is tight. Thai, tight. I mean, the top three places for, for chicken wings in, in, in, in Sudbury, I'd say, right, rival just about anywhere else. These flavors. Just just just try these flavors on. Speaker 4
cajun, lemon pepper Speaker 6
And the other thing is, Tim Hortons, you notice they really fill the coffee right to the top, so there's nothing worse when you just wanna jacked up on caffeine in the morning and you got like that much, you know, that much empty space in your coffee. It gets me pretty rattled anyway. Speaker 7
I kinda love it. You know, it's it's a small sort of it's a small big city. Right? You come and get to shoot this great TV show. You know, you get to hang out with your buddies. It's the summertime in Ontario. It's, you know, there's lakes everywhere. It's beautiful. People are nice. Speaker 5
Everybody sort of opens their doors. The really cool thing about it is, like, I've I've played on travel hockey teams and I've worked on films on location and there's something special about living together away from home. But when you get home and you really wanna go see your buddy and you go and knock on their door and their little latch is open because it's not meant to be locked, Like, that's cool, man. I feel like I really do get to live summer camp every June out in out in sudbury. Speaker 11
I actually quite like it a lot. There's, the scenery is beautiful. You know, there's a lot to offer. It's got a lot to offer. Anybody coming here to work realistically or to travel. Speaker 7
As an actor, it helps a lot because if we were doing this all in a studio or something in Vancouver, toronto, you wouldn't get that authentic small town feel. And I think working with the crew and stuff, it's there's like this camaraderie with each other in a small town. You you kinda get does half the work for you, just being in the environment, being in the place, the smells, the certain tone that people speak. It's like you're in Letter Kenny. Speaker 12
I've really gotten to know Subbury very well. I shot, you know, three different projects up here last year, including Letter Kenny. It's a university town, and it's also an an industry town. So it's got a lot of faces to it. Subree's actually, like, like, a bunch of little little towns, I think, all all mashed together. Inside of a crater created by an asteroid or meteor, you know, if you're gonna be a science dick about Speaker 0
Oh, man. Alright. Speaker 2
gonna be a science dick about it. Speaker 0
Ten. What do you think of that one? Speaker 2
I loved it. Oh my gosh. Yeah. To see all those places and to hear them talk about, sugary, the way we talked about sugary, you know, it it's a great city. And, I thought it was just so funny, how Kiza was saying about the the wings and the mic drop and I do love a good franks, and or cajun. So I'm right right in. This just it's so it's so fun to just listen to them talk, like, not their not their, not acting it, but just talking about all the things that we've done and and went to and experience, you know, the Tim Hortons and and all that stuff. It's great. Speaker 3
Summer camp vibes. Mhmm. Speaker 3
mean, I've seen this before, and I've heard Dale and play fair say that before, but not before I went, and it is full on summer camp vibe. So we it's camp. Like, we were there in the winter time. And then we were there in this weird magical transition time. But it is it was like, yeah. The way that we trucked around and did all this stuff, like, December was just as nuts in its own way as May was. And for totally different reasons, but it had that same sort of energy to it. And I can feel that coming out of this. Like, just the way people are interacting with each other in b roll. And, like, yeah, that feeling on base camp of just even when it was like the end of the shooting and but just it was still very welcoming and you can stuff was still happening. They were still working really hard. And I think the pace too is what behind the scenes doesn't capture because it seems the behind the scenes seems pretty chill. Like Yeah. You would think they're having a good they're working their asses off. Speaker 0
But they're enjoying it. Yeah. They're they're loving it. Speaker 3
But how light they look. Speaker 3
That I'm that juxtaposition to me is, like, that says it all. Speaker 2
and there wasn't and and I love that it's not fake. Like, like, what we saw when we were behind the scenes and what we're seeing in these videos and and speaking with the Speaker 8
actors and actresses Speaker 2
and and and how they portray how the experience is. This is the real thing. Like, this there's nothing phony about it. This is them. This is how they are. This is who they are. And it's just a they're phenomenal people. Speaker 0
Mhmm. My only note here, because you guys have already said all of it, but when you say that, it's weird to hear them speaking out out of character. Riley isn't acting. Speaker 0
Dylan play fair sounds like Riley. And Riley sounds like Dylan play fair. I mean, we've seen him in Disney movies and stuff. He's a he's a not he's a good actor. But just in this, when he's just speaking to in in his candid moment there, I'm you can close your eyes. That's Riley. That's he's not, he's not acting Victor. Speaker 4
Yeah. I agree. I think I think just watching it, kinda building on what Tanya said. It just it's a bit of an equalizer because listening to them is really not that different than listening to us on our podcast when we were describing sudbury. Right? It's very, very similar stories and, getting excited about silly things, right, about the coffee being built at the top. I mean, these are the type things that we would call out. And and so I thought that was, you know, again, it humanizes them and, makes them makes you kinda feel like, yeah, we can we can go for beers with them and we kinda did. Speaker 4
So, with a few hundred percent. Yeah. Yeah. And and you know what? So so it's just it just kind of makes it, extra special. And and it was extra special just for me, remembering the, us being on the farm and, you know, having Oliver scare ten, you have to bid. So it was it was really, really nice. Speaker 0
Oliver's the farm dog, by the way. Speaker 2
Don't go near that thing. Speaker 0
A few people in the livestream, wanted want Victor to know that when swirly or when Kate Travers said, science dick, he was referring to you Victor. Speaker 4
Oh, I know that. I'm I'm I'm good with that. Speaker 0
Alright. So let's let's move on to let's, learn a little Speaker 4
Oh, by the way, since it's relatable, because you were talking about, Matthew Broadrick movies. If you're gonna see a Matthew Broadrick movie, go see Infinity. He plays Richard Feynman in that movie. Speaker 2
Oh, okay. And Richard Speaker 3
Oh, god. It's another science stick. Speaker 4
No. He's one of the greatest scientists of our time. Who's who's not with us anymore. Of course, he was a theoretical physicist who's, all about quantum mechanics in the, in the early days. He was able to explain quantum mechanics in a way that nobody else has, then and since. So he's a very, very special. Yeah. T. By yeah. Richard is a dick. Speaker 2
That's what I took away. Speaker 0
Dick Feynman. Alright. Let's, learn a little bit more about this blue spatula comes up. Let's learn about the stunt work in, in season two here. Speaker 13
I'm Dan Skkean on these stunt coordinators. For Letter Kenny season two. It's always good coming back to Sabory for Letter Kenny. It's nice to see all the familiar faces. It's like a big happy family on this show. So you're actually coming back here with I was pretty happy coming back. Due to some scheduling conflicts, I wasn't able to be here for all of the dates. So I coordinated with, Tyler Hall who came in covered for me, and he did a great job. Speaker 14
When you're in your position to come down, like this, come into the head position while I'm driving you? Speaker 4
I play the knocked out guy Speaker 14
And and he did that very well. Yeah. We had a little run through to see what his abilities were, and what he was comfortable with. And then we designed Jacob was super cool. He's like, look, I need this to happen and this to happen, which was basically, you know, wham bam. Keep it simple. And, yeah, we made, made that happen with what he was able to do, and he did it fantastic, John. Speaker 0
This one's mine. Throw them stakes on, dirty. This won't take long. Speaker 13
For this season, letter candy, it's very much. We're in the same realm. Scrapped hits. It's the same letter Kenny world with the same letter Kenny problems. It's nice just to be in the comedy world. I find for fights and stunts in comedy shows are slightly different. You can be a little more exaggerated, when you're doing comedy. Obviously, things are funnier when they're bigger and louder. One of the specific challenges when Speaker 7
filming in this style would Speaker 13
you like to do all their fights and hits in slow motion. In the stunt world, we say there's nowhere to hide. It really lays all your sins out for everyone to see. You can have a near miss on some of your hits at regular regular speed. But once you go into slow motion, it's all there right in front of the audience. They can see everything. So it's particularly tough to do hits in slow motion. These guys have been great. It might take a few extra tries to get it down, but in the end, they hit them right on the mark. Working with Jared's been great. For one, he's very capable. Two, he really understands this world that he's created in Letter Kenny. So he really knows what you know, what has its place in this show and what doesn't. So it's great that he has such a clear vision that he knows exactly what he wants. Coming into season two having already seen season one, we really know our world and what works and we can play to that because we have a certain style that we've established. In season one, going into it, you know, when you still haven't seen fully what it comes to be in the end. So, coming into season two, it's a lot more relaxed because we know what works, we know what the boy is like, and we're just we can play do that. Speaker 0
Alright. The stunt work on this show, Casey? What'd you think of that? Speaker 3
Art. I mean, I didn't really think about the concept that slow slow motion exposes everything. And so rewatching that scene was pretty impressive. Speaker 0
Mhmm. Yeah. Because, yeah, fast takes would would hide any kind of, you know, mistakes or whatever, but, doing it in slow motion does expose things. Like, yeah, for sure. Speaker 3
But it's flawless. Mhmm. Speaker 0
Agreed. Yeah. It's it's well done. That last fight there with with Wayne and and that, native. I don't. Speaker 3
Native? I don't remember Speaker 0
that fight. I mean, I'm sure it happened, but I I have to go back in now. I I mean, I know the episode it's from. But that one's mission. Speaker 3
You wanna rewatch now, don't you? Speaker 0
That that song selection. I don't remember the song great wall. So, I I really wanna go back and watch it now. Victor? Speaker 4
Well, that's a song that may or may not have been playing because because Speaker 4
watching compilation over that song. That may not have been the original song. But, I think a couple things. Right? So it's not just the actors acting well or the stuntman acting well. It's also, you know, planning ahead, right, knowing how are you gonna frame the shot? So that it can be edited. So it's there's framing, there's editing. I the whole thing is it's like a choreography of of technology, if you will. So I think that, you know, it's it's it's fun kind of looking behind curtain and seeing how it's done because you don't really think about it when you're watching it. So it, you know, it adds now kind of an extra layer to the, to to the mysticism. Mhmm. Speaker 2
I agree with all of it. Speaker 0
Thank you for coming out. Speaker 4
to get the participation award. Yeah. Speaker 2
I how do they But I the only thing that I have a question mark in my mind is, so at what point are they actually hitting the ground? Because it like they're hitting the ground, but then in some scenes, you see that there's a, like a fall pad there. Speaker 3
Those are for rehearsals. Speaker 0
Rehearsal, but also if the camera angle is gonna show them falling, then there's probably a mat there as well. Right? So it depends. If they're gonna Speaker 4
And it's it's not continuous either. Right, Tanya. So, like, do you see a shot of somebody being hit and then you see another shot of them falling to the ground? Those are two unrelated events. Yeah. Right? So they They film a guy diving towards the ground, not related to the shot. So it's it's a little bit different. Speaker 0
And stunt people just know how to take falls. Right? The the they have the technique to fall and not get hurt or at least minimize the chance Speaker 4
to use breakaway stones. The breakaway floor. Speaker 3
But Victor, you've seen them shoot Shoresy on ice, and they do it all one continuous shot. Speaker 3
Come hell or high water. Speaker 0
Again, that's that's the beauty Speaker 4
That's hockey players know how to play hockey. Exactly. It's a whole different ball game. Mhmm. Speaker 7
Yeah. Yeah. So Pop game. Speaker 3
It's a whole different puck game. Speaker 0
Quick quick story when I was, interview when I was having breakfast and interviewing Terry Ryan, he was, actually, he had I know. I know. I'm dropping a name. He was he he was he had a notebook with him, and he was showing me, a stunt he was preparing for because he also does some stunt work on on shows. And, he's, like, showing me the stunt that he's gonna do. He's, like, standing on a porch and a cable is gonna pull, like, yank him backwards. So he's gonna fly backwards into, a big mat. And I'm like, how do you prepare for that? Right? Because, like, so I guess, because the the there's an explosion that's supposed to happen that I guess we'll we'll throw in and post Speaker 0
That blow him back and he'll he'll so there's a cable that'll yank him back into a mat And I yeah. How do you prepare that? I was like, well, you really don't. You just have to be in really good shape and make sure that, you know, because I'm like, I'll I'll, like, throw my back out getting out of bed. Right? And he's he's about to, like, get catapulted Speaker 0
with a harness on, like, into a mat. Right? But, yeah, you gotta be in great shape. But you'll, you know, you gotta know how to take a fall and and and I'm sure there's all sorts of safety precautions, but it was interesting to see, like, he showed me the the shot by shot of what he was being asked to do for this show is really interesting. Speaker 4
That's the most that's the most times you've called out Matt's name in, like, thirty seconds. Speaker 2
Unless you're breaking down a show like this, does like, how many people really pause and look at the scene like that and go, this is what would need to be done in order pull off. Speaker 0
Well, that's what directors do. Right? They they they go shop by shot, scene by scene. Speaker 4
And and and film students Speaker 0
and film students. Yes. Alright. Let's learn a little bit about the Hicks in season two here with, starting with swir swirly Dan. Speaker 12
It's coming into season two, the Hicks. We're a bit of the heroes. We saved the town from the the burning of Letter Kenny at the end of season one. Speaker 7
Well, fucking get after it then. Speaker 6
I'd say that the Hixon letter Kenny Conner rule all. You know, the, they rule in in in the traditional way by, by toughness and and intimidation. But they're, you know, at at at the same time, very approachable guys and certainly not bullies. You know, I gotta say Speaker 15
I'm looking forward to a Speaker 6
little bit of peace and quiet around here. Speaker 7
The Hicks have evolved, I think, into almost be into being a larger group. Well, it was, you know, Dan and Wayne and Daryl. And Katie, now you've got joint boy in there, and you've got Mc Murray in there some more. And so I think that's that that world has been expanded quite a bit. Speaker 1
Now, I wanna use fart Speaker 6
it right before she got here. Definitely thought it was me. And I'd have meant, Speaker 0
Davey, what went out my window? Maybe she farted. Speaker 15
I'm a friend. No. I am I'm one of, you know, I got beat up. I got my ass whipped. Now I'm, I'm kind of extended my hand to to Wayne and I'm there to help them out in times of need. Speaker 12
You you see we're much more involved in the community with, Dairy and and Dan and Wayne all sitting on the board at the Ag Hall. We're not just sitting around the farm. We're getting out into Letter Kenny and getting our getting our hands dirty, getting up to the elbows in in muck. Speaker 16
Here here. Here here. Speaker 3
Great toss, Kate. Speaker 7
Katie, this season. I find her to be even more self assured than she was in season one. I think she her bond with her brother and her bond with Daryl and Dan, especially they feel like even more united and and they're just like spending so much time together. And she's always got her brother's back. She's always trying to help him get some dates, which is cute. And, yeah, It's nice. Keeps his truck clean, loves his Speaker 2
dogs, enjoys a beer and a smoke. Speaker 6
I'd say that they're in the cornerstone of of of the town. They keep everybody in check, and you know, that starts with that starts more so with with, people who come into town and and and are looking to bully outsiders and stuff. And I think that that's true to small town life that it's not really the people in town who who are the enemy. It's it's the people from outside of town. I mean, that's that's what it was kinda like for me growing up and listening to Ontario anyway, you know, if we're at the bar for a night and, you know, there's there's some dude from outside of town. He'd he'd better behave himself because the list of all dudes are lined up around the block to to to take him out if he's, you know, poking someone's girlfriend or something like that. So small town justice is is swift and consistent. Speaker 0
Hey. Better not be no city yet. Alright. That is the Hicks for season two. Michelle on the live stream says my nephew and niece in law are stunt people. They say they just train themselves to expect and accept that their body will feel pain. So there you go. Speaker 2
Wow. Yeah. Well, Speaker 0
I mean, yeah, that's my so my own one note for from this year is is the city at note. So he's talking about, you know, visitors to list wool and and how how swift justice is. But, yeah. I mean, it it was great to see. Again, They're young. They're so young here, and they're so kind of still new to their their roles and hearing a Joel Ghani, the, the actor who plays joint boy, saying how, oh, he's back. Like, in in season one, he was just there to get beat up, but they asked him back. So you can see, you know, again, evidence of them rewarding, characters who who who become popular by bringing them back. And, they did that with joint boy. They did that with Dickens. They did with a lot of those, day actors. Victor? Speaker 4
Yeah. You know, because I never something I never really gave thought to is, like, joint boy and and, tight Tyson and, Dickens and McMurray, they're all part of the Hick community. Right? Speaker 4
Yeah. So I I I, you know, because we always kinda think of the main characters, but they're all hicks. So, and you realize they kind of dominate. Right? There's like all the other groups are very mar very much marginalized, especially Glenn. I don't think there's is there even like, you know, because initially you kinda thought Christians. Speaker 4
There's no Christians. It's just Glenn. Speaker 4
And then he's not even a Christian. He's just an everybody. Yeah. He's an ice cream salesman. He's Speaker 0
He's a waitress. He's, yeah, exactly, bartender. Speaker 2
And I wonder if that came in after the fact because they did, they did try Speaker 2
the beginning to have like a Christian, Speaker 0
faction or whatever. Yeah. Speaker 2
Right. And, like, where Dairy was going to the dance and, Keith. Wayne Speaker 3
was getting his finger sucked. Speaker 2
Wayne. Yeah. Wayne Wayne went to see about a date and and and there was definitely that direction. And then maybe because they wanted to keep Glenn. He was such a great character. They just kept on playing with it. Maybe that wasn't the Speaker 0
Yeah. Maybe they just plumb Speaker 2
the The direction was, but it became the direction once Speaker 0
Yeah. They plumb the they plumb that story line as far as they could Speaker 2
because the church too, they they did lose the the location. Right? Speaker 0
Yeah. Yeah. They did. Yeah. I think it became a monster. Speaker 2
That wasn't the the original direction that was supposed to go. Speaker 4
think they didn't really wanna offend the the real Christians. Yeah. Speaker 4
It's just, you know, Speaker 0
they probably thought if we're gonna if we're gonna grow to a certain level, we probably need to stay stay clear of that. Yeah, Casey. Speaker 3
I wanna ask Jared how many possible routes letter Kenny could have taken Mhmm. Dirt, like, from that first season. Because here's the thing. We know he's a planner. We know he's very intentional. We know he knows what he we he has a vision. We know this. This is reflected in everything. So when you're doing the pilot and it sounds like there's industry standard of like your your test sting things out at this point. Speaker 3
So either he is or he isn't. And if he is, then he's got pathways planned. And I just wanna know Like, what are the upside downs of Letter Kenny that didn't make it because the actors worked or didn't work? Right? Like, what would have become of Devin? Speaker 2
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What are the different paths? Speaker 4
Well, Kevin's path would have been to be the ball boy. On chores even though they don't have ball boys on hockey. Speaker 7
The the the puck Speaker 2
But would Stewart have been become Stewart? If Devin was still there. Speaker 0
Yeah. I think Stewart was always gonna be the main skid. And I think the what what would have happened if Devin had not left is we wouldn't have gotten so much more rolled. Right? I think rolled just kind of blossoms Speaker 0
that we would have lost out, I think, on that because, roles become one of the more, you know, favorite characters on this show. Right? So No. Unless you're Victor. Alright. Let's, let's learn actually speaking of the skids, let's learn about Ziskids in season two. Here we go. Speaker 17
Oh, man. Being back for season two is such a blessing. Great group of people here. I'm having a hell of a time, and the scripts who would have thought, but they only got better. Speaker 6
Now that's likely the least concerning thing on your hand, isn't it? Speaker 8
Typically, the first season of a show, you're like, oh, it's like a great season because They had a really long time to work on it. They had these ideas, like, percolating for a really long time. So it's amazing. And the second season, you know, you're kinda nervous about it. But this time around, they found what worked in the first season. And they applied that in a second, and it's killer. Speaker 7
Hey, you. Hey, you. Speaker 18
This is awkward, but your shirt seems to have shrunk in the wash. Speaker 7
Not awkward. Things shrink in the wash. How do you explain dig. Speaker 18
Quick wit, valuable asset must really serve a lady of the night like you well. Speaker 8
It means they're a hooker. Speaker 2
Thanks, Raul. You speak? Speaker 17
the things different in season two is that the characters and, some storylines have already been established now, so we can have a little bit more fun. As far as what's different for season two, Stewart. He's cleaned up his act a little bit. He's trying to find his way in life, and He still makes a bunch of mistakes. Speaker 0
This is two months. Two months just two. What's happening? Speaker 8
Season one to season two has been a big change just because, like, the leader leaves. So we get even more identity crisis, and Devin tries take over it and we're like, Speaker 18
What's this? This is not your crew anymore. This is not your life. Anymore. This is not the weekend. It's Tuesday, but it's not your basement anymore. Speaker 7
This is my basement now. Speaker 8
I kind of think they're bigger than the city they're in, but they're not brave enough to leave it, and they're also not sure of their own identity. Like, there's just huge identity crisis across the board for the skids. That's why this season you get us going from Goth to boy band, back to Goth. Back to, like, it's just all over the place because of because of that. Like, we're just unsure of who we are as a group, so we're just desperately trying to figure it out. Speaker 17
Been pretty cool with the show like Letter Kenny on a platform like Krave TV, having the fans interact through Twitter. It's it's been a lot of fun actually. Uh-uh, some fans will chirp at me, you know, saying f u Stewart, and then I'll reply saying f u back or, friendly chirps back and forth, which I enjoy thoroughly. It seems that the fans, really, really love the show. They like interacting, and they they want more episodes and they want them now. Speaker 7
Never, you can't do that, move. You know that. Never, no. No. Speaker 0
Victor. You're up first for this one with the blue spatula. Speaker 4
You know what? I love, obviously, Johnson, but I feel like this they they the skids, they should have kept them like Shoresy. Right? Shoresy was just this kind of trope character He he was one dimensional, and he showed up. He did his thing. He left. They didn't try to develop him too much. I the for me, the funniest part about the skids, that I wish we saw more of is their ridiculous dancing routines. Mhmm. And and I feel like, you know, they went away from that. They tried to develop those ridiculous storylines And I thought for the most part, it was just filler. I would have enjoyed to see more of their dancing, routines. Speaker 2
But they did. I disagree with that because they brought, like, Lady Sea, and they Speaker 2
They did a lot of dance. Like, they no. I I don't know. Speaker 4
No. No. I I don't think in purport I don't think, yeah, there was the Lady Sea, but that's it. It it was at the beginning. They had that infamous dance, then they had the lady see, and there's not much in between. In between, they did those ridiculous story lines. So for me, I I they showed just stuck to the dance. Speaker 0
Hard disagree. There's so many great story lines around the skids. Dan. Speaker 2
Yeah. I I I don't see that. They they did have a lot of story lines. I I I loved how they evolved, actually, and that's what drawn drew me to liking them because at the beginning, I really didn't like them. I thought, they really didn't give much value, and I didn't see what their why they were necessary, if that makes any sense. Like, when Wayne was at the church, and he came out for a dart and they the skids were outside. Like, there was banter and going back and forth, but I still didn't see, like, where they like, they were druggies, dancing, and I didn't really see where their, again, where their value was. To the storyline. Not until the infamous art book where they bond, like, they they band together and there was a need for them to give value of their service and work together as a team to create something to get, like, the togetherness. Right? Yeah. I I like their story arc. Speaker 3
I feel like they danced a lot, Victor. I feel like you're wrong this time, and I feel like Speaker 0
This time. You're being very generous. Speaker 3
I am. I'm feeling generous tonight. I was just going through. They dance at, like, Saint Perfect's Day, and then there's the rave. Mhmm. And then, like, there's the myriad dance scenes with them and everyone. Like, this is the dancing show. They like to dance in the show. They danced during the Hicks weddings. Well, yeah. Because the skids were there. They danced. They did. They did. Speaker 2
And even when they weren't dancing, they were still using their body and dance like waves. Like, when when the the matrix, they were they were saying things and hurting their feelings and they had the may tricks moves going, trying to deflect the the hits and they were still moving their bodies in in in dance ways. Speaker 0
Yeah. What I what what struck me about this clip here is that there's sound to that dance battle that we don't get in the episode. That would have made it a very different give it a different given it a different dimension. Right? The dance off between, Stewart and Devin, for for the the bowler hat Speaker 0
the show Yep. Was a slow mo montage to music. But in in this in these clips here, we see that there was a dialogue that they're actually saying things during that. Now whether that's just them ad libbing because they need to do that so that when when when they slow things down, it looks like, you know, but it it's it was interesting to hear what they were saying. Right? Like Speaker 2
No. I think role did say those things. Like, don't do that. Speaker 0
Not in the episode. In the episode, it's a silent. It's a slow motion montage to music. Speaker 2
No. No. He did because I remember him hurting his leg, and I remember Yeah. Speaker 0
You remember seeing it, but we don't No. Speaker 4
No. He he told Devin, don't do it. Are you gonna hurt yourself? Speaker 0
I think you guys are are are placing a what's that? What's the memory thing called? When when you're Speaker 4
It's called recency by smell. You're wrong. Speaker 0
It's not recency bias. It's a Speaker 3
The Mandela effect. Speaker 0
it. It's the Mandela effect. There there's I don't Speaker 4
think there's No. No. You're wrong. He said it. He said it to Devin. No. Speaker 0
Awesome's in the live stream. Awesome. Tell me, do we is there dialogue in that scene? I don't think there is. Speaker 3
Awesome. I'm having a dart right now, Al. You're gonna get zero answering that. Speaker 2
We we need to, like, bring up that that scene. Because I'm I'm positive. There is Speaker 0
Awesome. I'm positive. Speaker 4
He's he said it. He said you're gonna hurt your I Speaker 0
don't think he says it. I think it's all it's implied. Alright. Here we go. Speaker 3
Okay. We're burning pod time. Speaker 0
Yeah. Here we go. Hockey players. Let's let's let's learn about them in season two here. Speaker 6
Like, to be back here. Speaker 5
The letter came in season two. Speaker 0
There's no dialogue. Speaker 5
Yeah. You didn't miss a be, boy. We had never left. Speaker 5
It's fun. It's always fun. We love the show. We love the people. It's fucking sick. Good people. Forget people. Speaker 7
Yes. Great fucking people. Yeah. Speaker 5
It's fucking sick. Speaker 7
We were kinda joking around that it feels like we never left. The crew's the same for the most part. Castings all the same. Everyone's the same. So it feels like it's pretty sweet. I must say it's, there's been a power shift given too much away for the hockey players. So it's kind of exciting for us. Our story line isn't, wearing as, as macho as we once were. Speaker 5
Cut from the letter Kenny Shamra, and her over age year, bud. Speaker 17
Oh, victory lap for the shammies, no. Speaker 5
Victory lap, Furda. Furda. What's different about this season compared to the season before, I think, is the development of the characters. We went a lot further than what season one gave the audience. Season one was really cornered on Riley and Jonesy being these Bravado, you know, boss everyone around, king shit. They were the vets, and the rookies got basically pushed around by us and A lot of other people that are getting up pushed around by us. So we now have moments where we're the ones being bullied where we're the ones who Feel uncomfortable in this setting. Speaker 7
What does it look like? Do your legs? I guess the biggest shit for Jonesy is he is to think he was the shit. Now, he's he still thinks he's a shit, but he's really having to fight for it. Speaker 6
I'd have to say that, the sequence of scenes that I'm most pumped for the audience to see would be these five new hockey players, just how they converse with Riley and Jonesie, the different dynamics there, you know, because Riley and Jonesie are pretty animated characters pretty silly characters. And these new hockey players are just brick walls. They're tough intimidating dudes, and they don't move the the dynamic between those two. I mean, we were just on we we were on the ground behind the monitor. We were laughing so hard. We just can't believe how lucky we got with with these guys, you know, and how well they all work together. Speaker 0
Easy there. Because Speaker 3
He's in a towel. Does anybody seeing this is it just it's just he's just in a towel. Speaker 7
to have. I don't think we're supposed to maybe, like, eye each other up, but to actually go for it was a little bit. Oh. Speaker 0
Was that supposed to provide descriptive video there? Speaker 7
Fully at each other and fighting each other. And Jacob just let us keep going. So we just winged it. Speaker 0
Can you do? I'm gonna rewind there? Speaker 2
Yeah. What was that? Speaker 0
you mean was that? That was a scene of them naked fighting in the shower. But they're wearing they're wearing, what Speaker 4
do they call them? Speaker 0
Modest socks or whatever? Speaker 7
started pulling at shit going on. And then they they we just started pulling at each other fighting each other. Speaker 0
Ten you got distracted by the beep. Speaker 7
Jacob just let us keep going. Speaker 2
So we wouldn't be there. Speaker 7
Minute of just this naked wrestling in the shower. Yep. Speaker 7
AJ or not AJ? Oh my god. Bradley Mills. Speaker 5
Two, we have to deal with the repercussions of, basically, what we had done in season one. So now not only are those guys growing, but it's also forcing Andrew and myself to sort of push the envelope beyond what we knew worked really well with who the guys were in season one, being the, you know, gang shit junior players. We now gotta be the softer spoken, trying to figure out what the fuck happened to our worlds. And and that's a lot of fun, you know, that it it's it's great to see just how much depth these guys can give our characters. And with depth comes longevity and We wanna do this for a long time. Alright. Speaker 0
Before we begin, I want it to be known that awesome confirms there was no dialogue in that dance battle scene. I was right, Victor. You were wrong. So you can That Speaker 4
doesn't prove anything. Speaker 0
Okay. You wanna go toe to toe to awesome on this one? Go ahead. Speaker 4
I no. May maybe in that All I'm saying is it was bookended. It was adjacent something. I there was a scene where Devin is telling Speaker 0
Mandela effect. Where Speaker 3
No. It could mean. Speaker 4
There's a scene where Raul is telling Devin, don't do it. You're gonna hurt yourself. Speaker 0
Yeah. Mandela effect. At Speaker 2
the end, there could be like, okay. I okay. I will give it to awesome because she knows all, and I know that. And you're awesome, awesome. Mhmm. But there has to I agree with Victor. There has to be at the very end there that he says, don't do it. He's gonna hurt himself. I have Speaker 0
to see it again. Speaker 0
in the after party. In the after party, we'll watch it. I promise. Alright. Tanya, it's your turn. Speaker 2
Towel, baby. Kisa was in a That's what I saw. That's what I Speaker 0
That's all I gotta say. Speaker 2
That's all I gotta say. It was very distracting. Yeah, it's it's nice again to see the arc of the hockey players and, Riley and Jonesy and what they Speaker 0
so juvenile. Victor, I expect more from you. Actually, I don't never know. Okay. Casey, can you verbalize anything, or are Speaker 2
Are you stuck? Powell. Speaker 2
I think we gotta slow that that one down and we need to watch it. Speaker 3
I already have it on pause. Listen. It's just it's not It's not what I anticipated from behind the scenes, but, like, it's cool. Hockey is fun and owls. Speaker 0
That was a very revealing behind the scenes there for sure. If, if you guys are listening to this, you may go go go do a search for Letter Kenny season two behind the scenes, the hockey players, and you'll see what we're Speaker 3
talking. At two minutes forty eight seconds. It Speaker 0
Victor Do you have anything to add to this? Speaker 4
Yeah. I don't know what was more distracting, the the the scene or or a case he blowing her load Speaker 0
Just slip and slide off Speaker 3
Victor, settle down. Speaker 4
I don't think there's much to say. I think there's an it's another example of Andrew and, Dylan, not acting. Nothing. That's that's just who they are. Just show up. They're like the stunt stunt people. They just show up and they're just they're just being themselves. Speaker 0
Yeah. Alright. Let's, learn about the natives in season two. Speaker 16
My name is Dio Horn, and I'm playing Tannis on Letter Kenny. Tannis is basically the matriarch of the group of natives on the show. Speaker 16
the end of the first season, you see tennis, and all the natives getting kicked out of Letter County for burning down the produce stand. When they come back for the second season, there is a confrontation based on them trying to get back into into letter Kenny to keep selling the cigarettes that they sell. The relationship between tennis and Wayne is He's like the patriarch and she's sort of a matriarch of both of their groups. They call the shots. I think that there's obvious attraction between them because of that. They're not gonna take each other's shit and a few things that were sort of alluded to at the end of the first season may come to fruition and never know. I have a soft spot for Subbury. I like being out of the city, but I also like being out of the city and working on something fun like Right? Ladies and gentlemen, that is a wrap on lovely deal. Colony. Great week, everybody. Speaker 0
Alright. Those are the natives, Casey. Speaker 2
Short. Too short. Yeah. Speaker 3
Longer, more information, more time. Yeah. Shame on you, Krave, more natives longer. Speaker 2
Yeah. A hundred percent. Speaker 0
Yeah. It's a it's a great description though of the, you know, her the her being the matriarch and being the patriarch and how how that leads to some some heat between the two of them and, but also clashing. So it's it's a very cool to see Victor. Speaker 4
Yeah. I and again, just more of them being so endearing towards sudbury. Speaker 4
I I again, just it's the it's the great connector now. But, yeah, that that was a bit short. And and what are the towel scenes in that? Flip right? Speaker 0
I don't know. Yeah. Theo wasn't wasn't in a lot of towels, I guess. Yeah. Ten? Speaker 2
Yeah. It it was very short. There's there's so many great native scenes. And I guess if if we're only getting to number two, the and and again her arc too, like, she was such a bad ass kind of really hard ass. Right? Like, she really threw down at the first, one, first and and second season. Speaker 2
got a little softer, but still, you know, amazing, strong role for her. And, it just doesn't it doesn't capture the essence of of how and and the and and and and how they do play with each other. So well. Like, they should have done a clip really of the banter between, Kiso and her because it's Speaker 3
Yeah. A magical. Speaker 0
I think this is the beginning of because if you think back, season one, the natives are the bad Right? They're they're the the antagonists. Speaker 2
There was still. There was a lot of Speaker 0
But I mean, season two is the beginning of of them. I think this is when people started noticing letter Kenny, getting the indigenous representation right. Right? I think this is the beginning of them getting those kudos. Because, and it sound sounds like, you know, kinda to took a bigger role in that. And, like, now she's a producer on on choresy for the exact same reason. Right? Like, they they really took the time to ask them, you know, to to get the representation right, to make sure the language is right, to make sure Speaker 2
is there a longer, Speaker 0
No. I couldn't find. Not not for season two. Speaker 0
needs to be. I think this is the beginning of that turnaround. Right? Like, they went In season one, they went they were the bad guys. They were burning down the the produce stand. Yeah. And they were the Hicks fighting them. And this is the beginning of them turning it around to become allies and to become part of the the community. Speaker 3
Right. But they left half that out. Speaker 2
And her role really became even larger than that. Speaker 2
Right. So they really do need to to do a better job, Speaker 2
seasons beyond to and what that's become. Speaker 0
Yeah. Let's take a look at, the last day of season two. Let's, let's take a look at this. Speaker 3
We need those Shoresy season two behind the scenes. Speaker 7
I'm kidding. I'm so happy Speaker 8
to be here. It's been a lot of fun. Everyone's great to work with. Speaker 19
Last day, about her Kenny on season two. It went like this. It went way faster than expected, but, I think it's gonna be Speaker 12
Well, you know, it's bittersweet. Sad because the fun's ending, but, very pleased with what we did this season. Speaker 11
Lastly, we were se Speaker 4
seizing we were here. Now we're here. Speaker 7
Like, kinda like a divorce in a weird way, bittersweet ending. You know, it's amicable. It's on good terms, but it's just fucking sad. Speaker 20
Just an amazing season. Speaker 0
So I'll see you later. Speaker 20
The hawk boys are always hilarious. And, yeah, I'm excited to see it next year. Yeah. Speaker 11
Because it's twenty fifteen. Speaker 17
Now, since you gentlemen Speaker 7
Today, it's, like, like yesterday, just a couple of scenes, which is kinda nice. One in the morning, one in the afternoon. It's gonna be fun. I mean, disappointing because it's the end, but, you know, Speaker 5
gotta end sometime. Right? Speaker 6
There might there might be Speaker 7
a few tears later on who the fuck knows. You know? Speaker 8
The real world's gonna be a lot more boring than, life and letter. Is that Danny? Speaker 2
Yeah. It is. Yeah. Speaker 8
it's always exciting. Speaker 0
She was a great season. Speaker 5
Hopefully, we'll be back next year. Speaker 20
I'm gonna miss you guys. That's what it is, dude. Speaker 20
Most fun you can have on one show. Speaker 3
That's this one. Sadbury said, every night. Speaker 5
Musk ask themselves before entering a scene who, what, where, when, and why, buddy? Speaker 17
Motivation, buddy. Speaker 5
Why are we what are we doing, buddy? Speaker 13
so fun. Now it's over, but Speaker 7
we're gonna do it next year. Speaker 13
Hope late. It was just Speaker 7
a blast. Everyone was sweet, and we're just being goofballs in the last day, which is what we do every day. So it's awesome. It's like the best summer camp of your life. You come back with, like, really great memories and everything. Speaker 3
Yeah. Billy shorts. Speaker 0
What was Billy wearing? Speaker 3
Yeah. Billy shorts. Speaker 0
Overall short shorts. Speaker 2
I'm sorry. It's over. Speaker 21
So I wrote everybody these really cute cards and sent them all pictures. And, like, I have to do it now because at the end of the day, it's too emotional. Speaker 7
Oh, I can't fucking wait to get out of here, man. Speaker 6
Freaking worship, a day to day basis, or Speaker 7
I'm freaking right now. Speaker 6
It's just a fucking just give it over with here. And, I mean, Speaker 7
start rolling. I'm already drunk. I'm just phoning it in. Speaker 6
We got a we got a big phone in, fake Friday on deck here, I think. And all the boys are, are pretty pumped. Speaker 7
It's It's been a really good last day. I it feels crazy that it's over because I don't know. I feel like we just got here, but yeah, it's been a really good season. I'm so excited to watch it, and I'm excited for the wrap party tonight. Speaker 1
Say, one thing I'll make it short and sweet here. There isn't one fucking person standing here doing any job on this set that we take for granted. Hey. We all the fucking world. Thank you very, very much. Speaker 3
He's so fucking cute. Speaker 0
Alright. I don't know who's trying to do it. I think it might be my turn, but, let's Speaker 0
It sounds like, at the end of season two, they they weren't sure they were being picked up because it it it it sound you know what I mean? Like, I feel like at some point, when they got picked up and put on Hulu, they knew they were they had at least so many episodes that they were gonna do, but I feel like at the end of season two, they still still weren't sure. Just just or maybe that's how they they, you know, wrap every season up, but, those shorts that Billy was wearing, they were short shorts, overall shorts, and according to awesome, they were Katie's shorts. Speaker 2
Oh, were they Katie? The fact that Speaker 0
he can fit into Katie's shorts is is impressive. I gotta say, Billy. Well done. Victor. Speaker 4
I had all kinds of things to say. Then I saw the him in those shorts, and I I I kinda I went blank after that. Speaker 3
Now, you know how we felt with the towel. Speaker 0
For different reasons, Speaker 4
I hope. I don't think No. I don't it's not the same. And then and then and then we saw the tonka truck, roll up at the end, which was kinda hilarious, to kinda finish where they started. Yeah. And it's it's almost like to say that they thought potentially that they were finishing. Well, that's what I mean. Speaker 0
There's a lot there's a lot of, it felt I Speaker 4
mean, Jared, Jared might have known, but may but it's clear that nobody else did. At least none of the people that they show clips of. Speaker 4
Because none of them, they were acting as if, yeah, that's it. Let's, let's go home. And hopefully, we have some work next year on some other shows. Yeah. So that was pretty cool. Speaker 2
I I just I okay. Two things. I have to say every time I see Billy, I can't help but smile. The man just makes me smile, and I just Speaker 0
Well, because he's always smiling. I've Speaker 2
never seen him not smile. I just wanna hug him because he's just he's so lovable. I just he's so wonderful. And and the whole show just makes me smile. Like, you just fills my heart because they are so wonderful. Like, truly wonderful humans. Like, they they just are the they're a great bunch and this this really does capture what the energy is. And how wonderful they are. And and what was said at the end there? Jared means that. Like, everyone is treated. So equally and and everyone is as important as the other as the next person. There is no one that is less than. And I I just everyone hugging each other, everyone kept laughing with each other and and dropping notes and laughing and and Like, it just it's it's it's a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful show, and and just makes me so happy to watch that. Speaker 0
Casey dropped a screen cap of Billy in the shorts in the live stream. Casey. Speaker 3
It's gonna be my new, background on my phone. Speaker 2
Had her crop top on too. Speaker 3
Yeah. No. He is Katie in that photo. It's it's art Speaker 0
He looks he looks like a lost number of a Van Hale in that form. Speaker 3
I think he might like that. I think he might take that as a compliment. Probably. Speaker 4
Yeah. Anybody should take that as a compliment. Yeah. Speaker 3
It's true. I just the the joy that this expression of humanity has created in me is really weird because it's a television show. And yet it's a group of people. Like, it's humans. And so it's been interesting to walk that line between my reality, that fantasy, and their reality. Speaker 3
And then and then to see myself in it, and and then tab visceral memories of of feeling that energy Speaker 3
That we're seeing, that we're witnessing. It's like such a privilege. And watching that last day wrap. I don't know. Just it made me think of my own experience and just how really fortunate I am, like, when Tyler said he felt blessed and they all talked about, like, family. I just feel that really heavily and I feel that with you guys and because we were there with them and sort of basking in all of that. Speaker 0
Great. Well, put. Alright. Now we're gonna watch some, videos where the, cast members answer some rapid fire questions. Let's I will pause to read the question because it's written on the screen here. The question is, who is most like their character on the show? Speaker 11
Jared is most likely his character on the show. God, Alex, Jerty. Speaker 7
Oh, Dylan. Dylan Playfer? Speaker 17
Yes. Nate Tyler. Speaker 3
Miss Mc Marie. That's true. Speaker 4
Al, just for the list for the listeners, make sure your audio is to full on that one. Speaker 6
Okay. It's a little low. Speaker 0
Oh, sorry. Yeah. You're right. Yep. Who is the best hockey player on the entire cast? Speaker 18
I haven't seen them. I think it might be Jared, though. Jared? Speaker 6
Jared? Probably, Kiso? Me? Speaker 11
Me, and I ankle bite. Speaker 7
I never played a day in my life. Yeah. Of course Mcmurphy. Speaker 2
I ankle bite and I've never played. It's me. I love it. Speaker 0
Who would be the mayor of Letter Kenny? Speaker 2
We should guess the truth where they say. Speaker 7
Kiso. Kiso. Me? The mayor of my danny. Dan. Oh. Probably can't have. Speaker 11
Me. Me, because I talk fast, and I'm cool. Speaker 0
How do you like your steak? Oh, here we go. Speaker 18
Medium rare. Medium Speaker 12

I like it medium. Medium rare. Medium rare. Medium rare. Speaker 6
Oh, medium rare. Speaker 4
Yeah. A couple of cannibals there. Speaker 0
Yeah. Not a lot of change there. Rare. What is your favorite cuisine? Okay. Let's let's let's do a quick guess. What what what's Jared's favorite cuisine? Casey? Casey? Speaker 3
No. I would I wouldn't even presume, Asian fusion. Speaker 0
Yeah. Victor, what do you think? Speaker 4
Wings, its wing. It's it's it's, what do you what do you call it? American, standard, standard, mashed, medium potatoes. What cuisine is that? Speaker 3
White people food? Speaker 0
What do you think? Speaker 2
What would grilled be? Speaker 7
What would we get? Barbecue. Okay. Barbecue. Speaker 0
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's it's it's steak and potatoes. Speaker 7
I bet you it's that. Speaker 3
We are killing it. Speaker 0
Here we go. What is your favorite cuisine? Speaker 11
Fish tacos? No. A little bit too much. Nice roast, shall we? Sushi. Speaker 18
Like shitty Canadian Chinese food. Metatranian. Chinese for Speaker 4
Oh, that's a problem. Speaker 0
Caucasian. So Casey, you were kinda close. You said some some sort of Asian food. Right? Speaker 2
Thought he said fuck. Speaker 4
He said fusion. He said fusion. Speaker 7
He said fuck. Japanese. Japanese. Steak medium rare steak? Steak. Italian. Italian. Speaker 4
Yeah. Most of them don't know what cuisine means, but that's alright. Speaker 0
What is your least favorite cuisine? Alright. Jared's least favorite cuisine, Casey. What do you think it is? Speaker 3
Jared's least favorite cuisine is I don't know. Speaker 4

I'll say I'll say ostra ostrich. Ostrich. Alright. Here we go. Speaker 18
I'm growing on it, but Indian food, I have trouble with sometimes. Speaker 0
You know what? I I kind of I I agree with him. Speaker 2
It's not a cuisine. Speaker 0
It doesn't matter. It's it's gross. Speaker 2
What, Jared? It's not a waste. Go back. I guess. What? What? It's it's squash. Speaker 4
It's it's squash the same thing. It's okay. Speaker 3
I'm here. What the hell Speaker 0
is it? He said, tex max. Text max. Speaker 2
Text max is, Glenn. Speaker 11
I'm not Liver. But I'll eat it because I'll eat anything. All of. Speaker 5
Used to be all is now my palette change with maturity. Speaker 17
I don't have any. Speaker 4
You know, you know, you know, the thing that's even less food. Speaker 2
They should have said, what is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? Not cuisine? Speaker 4
The the the thing that's even less of a cuisine than then a steak is olives. Speaker 2
My my sister and I played a game of what's the opposite. She's like, quick quick rapid fire, opposite of coffee. And I said, tea, and Ellen's like, no. Speaker 0
Alright. Do you have any allergies? Do we think Is Speaker 0
we think Kiso has any allergies? Speaker 3
I don't know. Yeah. Speaker 7
It's stupid stupid people. Okay. Maybe that. Otherwise, I don't know. Cats? Speaker 0
Cats? Okay. That's a good guess. Speaker 0
Well, let's let's I don't think he's got an allergy. I bet he's gotten an is stupid people. Speaker 7
Olips. Fuck them. Paulin. Berry. Grass. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Speaker 12

I used to have a fantasy about living in Hanoi. I'm gonna go with Hanoi. Hawaii, Rome. Tokyo. Speaker 17
Oh, Japan. Amsterdam. Speaker 5
Vancouver, British Columbia. Montreal. Speaker 0
That's where he lives. Speaker 3
It's not even true. Speaker 3
trying to be fast. I love her. Speaker 2
Yes. She's lovely. Speaker 0
That's, alright. So there's a more to these. Hold on. That was just part one. Speaker 4
Yes. That was that was fun. Speaker 0
Yeah. So here's part part two. I think there's four of these. So here's part two. Frapid fire questions. Question is, what is your favorite movie? I'm gonna say Jared says something like, some kind of war movie of some kind. Speaker 4

Led zeppelin. Probably led zeppelin. Black ease. WILLco. Speaker 12
I'll be right back at ladies. Speaker 7
Nirvana. Tool. The roots. Speaker 6
Broken social scene. Speaker 0
Nickelback. Oh, of course. Speaker 5
Yeah. Baby bring on the hate of the fan check grueggr to the end of days. He's a nice guy. Don't hate on him so much. Speaker 0
It's so it's so predictable. Favorite flower? Alright. Here we go. Speaker 4

I love you. Play first, like, answering, like, there's a timer or something. No. No. Tiger. Tiger. Let me change my answer. Can I change my answer? Speaker 0
A queso's with the red rose. Very basic, but, very, like, Speaker 2
Simple. Yeah. Elegant. Speaker 3
He picked a real nice one too. Like, one of them real nice ones. Speaker 2
You know what my fave is? Speaker 3
Smelt real good. Speaker 2
It's my fave is, fire and ice red rose. It it's a rose, but it's like pure white and then pure red tips. It's beautiful. Speaker 0
Least favorite sport to watch. What do you think Keith will say? Cricket. Cricket? Okay. Let's see if you're right. Speaker 7
But field hockey. Speaker 5
wanna say curling, but I know it's a Canadian favorite. Speaker 7
God, curling kind of sucks. Curling. European football. Polo. Cricket? Baseball. Tennis. Oh. Speaker 11
I don't watch sports. Speaker 7
So I don't give a shit about any of them. Wow. That Speaker 4
in there. This answer should go well after that. Speaker 0
Oh my god. But Keesla with the tennis, I'm I'm a little disappointed in that. Alright. Let's see. Favorite Hockey player. Okay. What do you what do you think? Jared Keys's favorite hockey player is, Victor. Speaker 4
Oh, wow. It would be from the old days. It'll be Gordy House. Speaker 4
Yeah. I may maybe the one he played. Maybe it will say, Speaker 4
Actually, no. I don't know. He didn't Because there was a go I'm mixing it up because there was a Gordie Hall movie. Speaker 4
And I I don't know who played Gordie Hall. I can't remember. Speaker 4
anyway, I'll I'll say Gordonie Hill. Speaker 0
Yeah. I think it's Gordon How. Let's see. Speaker 11
Don't watch hockey, so I don't give a shit about it. Speaker 7
Jerome McGindler, Phil Castle. Cycl Quoyd. Yes. Jamie Ben. Shane Don. Ball Speaker 0
ocular. Alma's number two, Speaker 6
Calgary flames alum. Speaker 0
McKinus. Oh, yeah. He's a Calgary flame fan. Speaker 4
Yeah. Okay. Well, a bit of a degener in there, but that's alright. Speaker 0
Alright. Hockey player, you love to hate. Oh, come on. It's gotta be the guy from and what's his name? The the rat. Speaker 4
Yeah, Marshawn, but I feel like it would be somebody before Marshawn, is is he too recent? Speaker 0
Maybe. Probably. Don't me. Speaker 4
Oh, I'm gonna say Sean Avery. Speaker 4
He was he was March that he was probably Marshawn hero when he was growing up. But Sean Avery is everyone. They they actually changed the rule. So this guy was such a douche bag in a degenerain. In the playoffs, he would stand in front of Martembrideur, but not with his back to Martembrideur, with his front to Martembrideur. They actually have to put in a rule, an unsportsmanlike rule that if you do that to a goalie, you could you get a penalty. Speaker 0
