Ran away, and I am like, well, that's interesting. And then we were having sausages, and I was putting gashes in the sausages. And I was splitting the sausage open and just as I was taking off the casing, but one of them was coupled with the other one. And what is it over? What was it? What was this? Again one was docking one. Sausage. Which was docking with the other sausage and I looked at Allen, and I am like, so is this docking? So it's Liz is this went after visuals with your hands. So those sausages weren't kosher. So yeah, there was a lot of things, this is saying pump the brakes tenure we have got to La angle and is setting the tone. So sleep-deprived Tang is the opposite of a sleep-deprived. Victor is that it Is that all you have? I am really tired. Okay, Matt, I am not gonna laugh. It's been f****** s*** show, everything's just it's like we're one's like, well, welcome back to 2023, let us do everything on day one. So that's kind of how we're setting the tone. And he's like, oh yeah, because he knows it's my birthday tomorrow. So what? Delete, they're happy. Yeah, well, early birthday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, don't blow your load. Yeah, he has to make it. So what's it going to be like, turning 50 painful? Yeah, it'sit's funny. We're trying to make plans and it's the weather's turning to s***. And so it's all kind of falling apart. I don't really care. I am not really excited birthdays, but it's we do some work to do. So don't we don't, we don't? Yeah. At the very least we will order in and it will be fine. But we are going to bring we're going to have mother-in-law, come down and babysit. And we're gonna go phone, dude. We're actually going to go axe throwing Casey. By I have to, I have never actually done it, and I am dying to ask her. I feel like I would be really good at you and I want to do it. So yeah, we had booked this place but it's not going to happen tomorrow. We might go to a closer place during lunch if we can, but we're going to make the best of it. I don't care. How's it going? It's going well. I mean, to already mentioned sagging would net was awesome. We basically just logged off with him. What about an hour and a half ago? It feels Like over two hours ago, he didn't create in his sloppy seconds, that's great. Is he? He did a great job, and I was a lot of fun and even dropped a bit of a truth bomb. I can't wait for people to hear when he talked about working so good. Yeah, pause. Yeah, yeah. Working with anyway, a certain actor, which was great. I loved his account as an actor. Well, I mean he's been in stuff so anyway, yeah, so there's that. Let us see this week, you know, it's busy work. Oh, I went to an interesting. I went to a trade show So, was that yesterday or two days ago for the Ontario landscapers Association, which you might think, is kind of weird, but this thing was massive. And it was basically, if anyone here played with Tonka trucks, as a kid is like that, except in like real life like the Toronto, Congress Centre was filled with massive Machinery. All like, you know, really clean and Brilliant and really cool things. And a lot of it was like robotic and there's a lot of like pools Sand and Stone and so much stuff to see is actually really interesting. I am so it was wet and hard. It was. Wow, you're in the mood was going to say it was dirty too but it's 32, those all sorts of stuff there. Yeah. That was really interesting to see. I am glad to hang, you didn't come with me though because it would have cost you take a wrong turn. Like how did you end up there? And I was there for because I am featuring landscape. Ontario on. Yes, we're old Pals. Okay. All right, so there's, and I was also looking Going for other small businesses that might, that might be featured on the podcast. So it was a, it is just a really interesting show to be at. And then they invited or I the Reit, my connection to that is actually Ian service, the guy who provides our livestream stuff. He works there, and he invited me to their Awards Gala that night which was basically like this Posh like those. I don't know, maybe 500 people there, and I was kind of like the Oscars for landscapers. So basically they were giving away. Awards for like the best, Brazilian know the best like pools, like the rich people backyards and stuff that you would see on pool Masters and stuff like that. Except these are like, you know, regular people but still with a lot of f****** money to spend on lighting and on water features. What about manscaping format? There was a lot of landscaping. Victor anyway, so anyone else there's kind of interesting, interesting thing to witness, I never I have been to one of those before. It was kind of like one of those Tech conferences, except with much more interesting visual stuff to look at, like stuff you want to climb into and like kind of, you know, have fun with. But anyway, and no comment there. Tanya, Victor save me here. Have you been? Oh, yes. Victor, have you been? Yeah, I have been okay. I have three updates to share, and yeah. So I will start with sad news. First, we had to say goodbye to In love it. Beloved, pumpkin 15 and a half years of Lovejoy, scratches and hisses and you know it was a hard day and especially hard for the kids like they're 19 and 21, but they the three of them grew up together, you know, and they basically had their entire lives was worse with was put with pumpkin, and so they're kind of hit hard with it and there's dealing it. With it in different ways. But, you know, it's a hard decision. I know that those of you out there with pets where you had to make that decision at some point, it's a very hard thing to do, but we're at peace with it because we know that she's not suffering, she's not in pain. She's in a better place, and we just have all the wonderful memories with her. And like I said, she's were at peace with the fact that she's, you know, she's resting. So, yeah, but yeah. Nonetheless, and then it's going to get easier and better every day. The other nice thing that I got distracted with. Is that my exercise bike finally came in? I ordered it a November so it took a minute, and so I spent the day assembling it to kind of keep my mind off things and I love it, and I am going to start using it this weekend. You didn't pay somebody to assemble it so you can Lord it over them and yeah berate them and stuff. Yes, I assembled it myself. The hardest part about assembling, it was actually carrying it upstairs. This thing is crazy. Heavy like that just a flywheel on its own as I think. 45 pounds. Yeah. And that's just one pill. The whole thing is just it's a shame. It's like what it's like I kind of thought if I am going to buy an exercise equipment that's kind of professional quality, I don't want to be able to have to repair it. You know six months from now. So I am going to buy something really, really good. So you're not going to the gym anymore. What's? No, no, no, I have canceled by membership. I am going to do cross training during the winter months and then do running outside during the summer. So you're not going to be able to run into building leg daily battery at the gym like day. Yeah, no. Well I was what. I forget. What's he going to that same gym? Yeah, he's going to your gym. Well yeah, so I mean there's that what personally? Yeah it's okay. We will have him back in a podcast and I will see him there. Hopefully anyway. And then the last piece of news. Yeah. So for Or I shared with the community kind of the song that my daughter shared on YouTube, so she's been writing, just incredible music for so long now. And she's now going to the same school that Al and Matt went to when they were youngsters format, 50 years ago and Matt never went to church. He, did you ever go there man? Did I make you guys are allocating mere education? I am okay with it. This one picture of us, but maybe not, maybe I am wrong. But okay, well, what did I went to television? Oh, you practice from another program, but yeah, but not there just go. Okay, okay, cool. Anyway, so that's where Natalie goes, and she's learning how to produce music. And so, she felt the confidence to actually produce the song and it's actually sounds pretty good. And it sounds, great. Huge drops for dropped her first one, and it's just one of many that she has, and it's, she's such a talent. And so I am very proud of her. And so I Aside to share that with the. So I think some of our dmdd Jen's are probably going to follow her now and follow the progress, so she's got a fat scone. Yeah, very nice. Maybe we will get Natalie like dolo we're like she's got her music on short the season 2. Yeah. Casey have you been Getting peppered this week, boys. Cat got fixed on Monday, and they tell you that they can't be cats for about 2 weeks. Like, they can't jump. Don't let them do stairs. They can't run around and play. You basically have to create them and lock them down for two weeks. So that was weird. I stayed home Tuesday just to see what that would like look like and how did like, okay, that's fine. And then the boys came. On Tuesday from their dads and they got sick. The next morning. So we were home Wednesday, Nick tested positive for strep this morning. Oh no, Judah was fine. So he went to school and yeah, this is the highlight of my week. I am also happy to be here, but we're glad that were the highlight of your week. I love you guys. I don't know how many seasons ago where went on, maybe a bit longer than it should have, some of them were kind of Retches but I do appreciate the quantity that they put into this. There was like there was a lot of quantity in there and three minutes of. Yeah, yeah. Three minutes of it and so it was really good. So I enjoyed it and I thought about what I thought it was funny, maybe a little long but other than that and again, I compared this that wrestling one, which was also fun. And also really well done, but probably went a minute longer than it needed to go. Victor. Yeah that was three. Really degenerate reviews. I mean, I just wait for it. So first of all, I thought it was an absolutely missed opportunity with Castle because they call them Bill Castle instead of a castle dog. I felt that was just like a whistle dog. I get it. No, no. You don't know that, I don't get it. First of all, is not going well, the hockey player is Phil Kessel. Yes, I know that name, right? And he was well, known for loving hot dogs. There're all kinds of hot dog stories. When he finally won a Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh. He actually put hot dogs into the sky, I am not yes every killing cozy. He's, and they're supposed to be a play off the name so it would have been like a whistle dog, but Castle, God damn it anyway. So that was Easily, without a, without a doubt, the best cold open entire universe. I knew I called it, I called it. Those of you in the Discord, I send, and I was the only thing that I was disappointed in is that they didn't use two of my favorite players of all time. But that's all right. I think that they did incredible job and it could have gone for another six minutes. I would have been okay with it. All right Casey and this was better than In the wrestling one. I felt like I channeled Victor from the first two episodes of the season because I was like, okay, upside-down world right now, I don't get it okay, like, you know, because Victor accept some things about Letterkenny that he just concede. So I just sort of channeled Victor for this cold open. I was like, yeah, it's that hockey b******* and that's And I love hockey, man, I traveled to another country to go see Junior Hockey, so don't run. But I knew that I didn't know and I knew he would. And so loo spatula me all you want, but I was clueless dude, but okay. All right, let us move on to scene 1. We're still at Bodines, three Catie, Wayne Rosie, and squirrely danner's sitting at another table drinking beer, when Stewart and rolled under the bar Stewart, as to Hicks, what's Gucci? Why Katie informs them that thibodeau's dog is lost? Stuart asks what he's to be doing about it. Okay, replies, he isn't to be doing anything he will just to be done without it. So I don't know, I would love to know what happened between those couple seasons and why they It's so much more in, but I am loving his character. He just makes me laugh every time what when he comes out, f****** kills me. The quick note, Nova Scotia Duck, Tolling her was the dog I wanted for years. I have known several of them. They are amazing animals. So when I saw that pop up on the, on that board, that Glenn brought out, I was really excited. My yeah, that's a good dog right there. So that made me really happy sha zhi. I was really torn. By Shores in this one. Not because he's doing anything other than he always does and Letterkenny but probably to something with time, I am acclimated to new Shores e. So when you got this version of him which is oh, geesh or Z very aggressive, very high-pitched. It felt like caricature him again and I couldn't connect to them like it was funny. But I am like II, I have learned to love Shores in the new setting. I had troubles reconnecting and his Oh Daddy. The head shakes and the Thai style, tempura or whatever. Yeah that was the only proposition that's all you get. I love that one line because it to me that connected me it's back to the show but everything else I was like, okay, we're back to OG and I love the new Shores in the show. So yeah, you're right. There are two different things. I need to keep them separate, but that's what I saw. And I had troubles Al you were going to say something there. I will just say, I don't disagree. It drew issue in previous Seasons when they did the third dick episode and it was just dick on dick and his funny. But lot of talking there is too many others, too much energy. G and we had troubles. I mean tenure was on fire that night. I do remember that her dick jokes were amazing but it was just a became Overkill. So I think they perfectly use them here Sarah Wayne Callies and Janet Jonathan Torrance just brought it. I think it was Liz in the chat here as well as we're talking talked about it. The excitement of Anita dick was the best part of that whole scene. Yeah. Like she lit up that entire scene you couldn't help but be this just pulled into her world and everything that was going on and I just loved her for it as Liz has in livestream. She had big dick energy. Yeah it was totally, and so I was just so impressed by the usage that they held it back enough to just give us what we needed, and they really tied the whole thing together. And so the ending to me was perfection All right, all right, so far so good Victor. Yeah. I mean, the boy. I mean there's not much left to say, which is the case when you're kind of going last but it did a lot of obviously, f*** it. You guys produce the show from now, obviously, obviously I already shared how I feel about cold open. I think that's the best one ever. Not even close. And I feel and I guess tiny you kind of said it but this for me was the first episode of the season. So the first two episodes for me, I put them in the same category as the holiday episodes or whatever. We're calling those More Concept. Yeah, the first two episodes are totally concept episodes and I saw there's some, you know nonsense going on this quarter or Twitter or whatever you guys are using is Around how I don't like the fact that there's no story between yet. That's now I mean, I said, I shared that those two episodes were not connected in any sensible way at all, to say to make me feel like there's a new season at hand, which is fine. Like, I didn't give my rating for either episode based on the fact that there was a story, a continuous story or not, that was just kind of additional, you know, additional trip they shared. But for me, Me. This was like a regular Letterkenny episode and this was the beginning of season 11 and the first two were just kind of just concept episodes, okay? Yeah, final thing I will say it, just in terms of, you know, you guys shared everything, that's kind of good about it. I kind of do agree with Matt around the whole Shores, a thing. It kind of felt that it felt like, oh, this is kind of like a Last episode or something, because Shores, he's kind of here, like, you never left, and it's the old Shore Z. It's, yes, he gave us the little bit of the, hey, let us go for sushi or whatever, but it's still, it was very much the old Shores e, probably the best trips because actually understood them. I did, and he wasn't, his wasn't sitting on the s******, so you broke, and he wasn't an s***** thing. I should. There wasn't any of that toilet humor. So I really like that but just the fact that he was, there was a little confusing. It made me kind of made my mind wander, like interests, like way, what's happening here? And, and then the other thing is, like, with the I know ten, you said you really liked April, and May but I think they were fine, it's just that whole scene. The whole concept was confusing to me because I didn't understand what that word was and I wasn't looking it up. What was it? Just Lisa sees these it was just confused fighting like ii-i am fine with kind of learning new words along the way but when it just but it's like, what the hell? What are you saying? What does this mean? What island is steaming? Is that an insult? Is that a compliment? But you have to look it up? You have context clues, dudes. Yeah, effort to enjoy letter K, didn't do it for me. Like I just didn't, I felt like okay whatever but and so as and I enjoy the dog hunt, I enjoyed the tea leaves. That was really fun. But I was wondering, is it going to get better because right now, like we had a really awesome cold open, but then we know, we have kind of one, interesting story line, and another throwaway storyline. So it's like, where's it going? To go and, and then the, the, you know, the shore Z wrench in there and then if you and then the dicks come to save the day. I mean like that was just it was Oscar level performance by. I need a deck. I mean, like it was just so well done. And everything so perfect. And then, you know, you're even kind of visualizing Gregory and Greg Ozzy or a monster Pencil Gregory STD Sunshine. It was just, it was, it was great. I mean, it was a really, really fun episode, lots of layers for sure. Before we get to ratings. Casey, this would have been your time to speak. Did you have anything to add gareki? So could do no wrong. I thought the shores he was perfect and right on tone And I think that he was sexier because you couldn't see his face, and he did the head, shake on his way to chirpin it. April and May, and I love that and I want more of that squirrel. He's named nobody's bringing up squirrel. He's Dan growing Daniels, phones curly. Daniel speaking after they were like, I thought that was your name, and he's like, no, we even talked about that scene at all, this, whole this. So those scenes to me, they they Billy did that circle cut at The Haunting ammo Dean's. Yeah, I think it was three season 3, episode 7, and, but they were cutting. So they were doing they were and I don't know. This is why the question that you want to ask, Drew is great. Matt. Like, do they script those cuts, and then they just have to edit them or those they decision. I make in post based on the footage they have like, how do they do that? Visual chopping up the story because this season. It was just one continuous Circle shot and that was smooth and it set a really nice tone but it immediately made me think of season 3. So I would love to hear more about that from the editors, the swingers the dicks. When they showed up that was old school, classic just d******. And I cried like when she laughed, and she touched his arm. I was like crying the first time I wash I was going so good because it's also the first song. In three episodes that actually felt like a Letterkenny song, like it immediately felt like soundtrack level Letterkenny again, which I did not feel from the first two seasons and was missing that a little bit. So, like I just got it in the feels at the end because of the her performance and that song. So a few more songs in this episode than the first two episodes for sure. Go back to the team leaves when they thought that the dance. Last first name squirrely and last name Is Dan over the answers. The phone squirrely Daniel. Yeah, like the squirrel, he's in there. Yeah. Shkreli Daniels phone squarely. Daniel speaking. Let us get the ratings and let us get back to our regular lineup. Tanya what would you give this episode was that glass doing dance. She's tired and she's halfway done. Okay, so what's being asked rating for this episode? I do with you fresh. Okay, I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth are fresh from, Tanya mat. Feel free to kind of elaborate to if you want on your rating, Matt. Yeah, yeah, okay. That you were coming second. You should have been ready. I know. No, I know and I came in with a very different opinion again. It's weird. Hearing it back. It's shifted taking in some of the things that we talk about. It's amazing. How these kind of shows can influence here yourself a last week, f***** me up. But this one, this one's been a blast. I am gonna give it. I am going to give it a fresh to me, but it's a low fresh really? I Wasn't as connected with this one II. Again, I have big issue with the cold open, it didn't excite me at all. There was some weird Parts about this, so, the everything in between the cold open. The end was stable, like, it was good. I enjoyed it. Did I love it? It was fine. I didn't dislike any of it, but that ending was phenomenal to me. So pushes it into the fresh. So very content and good with the episode thrilled with the ending. So that's why I am in the, I am in the fresh zone, right? I mean, this one's easy. It's a fresh. It's the best one so far from the season. But I also think it's a really solid Letterkenny episode. It has everything. I enjoyed the cold open. I think the shores e-content was some of his best chirps. I think the dick content was exactly the right amount. I love all the perfect deck. I love all the, the different kind of camera angles and stuff. They do. And we have talked about this before. We love it when they group unlikely, characters and scenes and in this case, it was squirrelly down in the skids. And that was a lot of fun to watch. So really, then I react to this. Kids was a lot of fun. So yeah, this one's definitely 100% or fresh. Not even a little fresh. It's a right down the middle fresh, Victor. I am confused by tan you right now? But anyway, I just had a really where the hell was Dairy. You know what I meant. Make a note of that and say, that second episode in a row with no Dairy, like other than cold opens, which I feel like they get shot separately from the episode, sometimes they do the cold opens, whatever second episode in a row with no coat with no Dairy. So, Victor kind of joked about this last week, but maybe Dairy tested negative and wasn't available. Like yeah, it's weird. There's no reason not to have whether it was in Max's basement. Yeah. He's a timeout maximum reference to him know, you know, anything interesting could call out but interesting. Hmm. So that's about other than that though. I mean, good, good color but other than that. Victor. What's your reading? Yeah, my rating is a fresh. I mean, wow. And there's no way. Yeah, I mean there's really no questioning it. Sorry. So yes, I am going to say in this court I called it. I said this would be if there's a unicorn this season it would be this episode the first episode of the season is a unicorn. We agree. You go Victor. Now you can finish what did you want? What did I want to say so there's you know, look at this in three parts with the Hold open, the story lines, leading up to the dicks and then the dicks, you get, you get two parts that are easy. Easy High, very high end. As high as you're going to get fresh scenes, segments, sanguine etz. And then you have and you have the kind of the, the, the Meandering story lines, leading up to it. It's just, it's just the math does itself. And, so I don't understand how you get your low fresh Matt, but whatever. I think, I think this was just one of the best. Bookends to an episode in the series so far. It was really, really fun and the dicks I mean as much as I love the very first time we saw the dicks, you know, they were you appreciate them more here because they came in. It's like they keep their character actor. They came in, they did there. And then they, and then the episode ends like they came in to close the close out the World Series game seven. Like, it was, it was brilliant. Can we agree that like that, that ending especially that those final few moments are now sat among the happiest moments in Letterkenny 100%. When they, when they figure out that they're gonna get to keep the doll a hundred percent. Yeah. Yeah, holy s***. That excitement between the two of them is, and they brought in The Swinging element into the whole thing between. Yes. So I don't know. I just think this is, this is an occasion to celebrate. For sure. Excellent. Casey the pressures off, we have our unicorn. What? You say now won't change that, but what would you give this episode? It's a certified fresh. Like, it's 100% fresh. Not even down the middle. I didn't understand the cold open but I do understand that Jared was probably writing that like dolo spits lyrics on his I am lives like to have that sort of knowledge like I can appreciate that cold open even though I don't understand it. Like so that just the fact that he could come up with three minutes of that. Yeah. Fresh you bring that up, get it. You and I both watch dolos Instagram lives and that's what he does, right? He just puts beats on spits and flus and sternal and starts just spitting stuff out. And then when something hits he stops and Records it all live, if you. So again, if you haven't, if you're not following Dolan, Instagram, It's actually an interesting watching how he works, but you don't get to see artists do this ever. And the fact that he's a rap artist, a rapist, a rap singer, absolutely, he's singing a wrap, his IG anyway, imagine the polling him. Okay, so it's a fresh anyway, this just brings everybody back to Letterkenny Universe. I loved all the shores. It was perfect. I rewound that head shake The way to talk in the girls like seven times because it reminded me of shore Z and I think it's the perfect amount and Jared keep doing what you're doing, please.
