The gang is Sudbury bound, see the sights and have a good look around, it's a universal tour. And one thing's for sure, this place is our kind of town that fresh produce stand there. That's a beauty. What do you listen to my favorite murder podcast? Taggart Jordans podcast, the produce and f****** sexy. It's Sunday and Sunday is for Pickin stones. That means we are once again hang out the protest and a podcast paying tribute to thing in the universe. Now, I know what you're thinking. There are many other podcast will order Kenny out there, but this one's recording from the goddamn Farmhouse kitchen. So, f*** you all. All due respect to the other little Kenny podcast. This is f****** crazy what we're doing. You don't think we win by proximity. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, it's just proximity anyway. I am a Leo host and joining me as always, but in the kitchen, are is a lovely, Tanya, and squirrely, mats the lovely Linda and V for Victor. How are you doing tonight? Anyways, f****** fantastic. Hanley were speechless. We have been waiting for him to start this show for like 20 minutes. This is it. Should I play the you? Unicorn sound bite off the top here but just saw. All right, there we go. This is a shot of the, the other camera angle here. I am trying to be fancy here, but I am not going to be able to switch to quickly, but here we have myself and Matt sitting in his garden clothes and his barn close here. I can't believe you did that. So we walk onto the set is like, is that dairies onesie? It's not. Yeah, I have been told that I have to be I got this is not the actual sky, guess it's the backup set. It's not back up its dressing. What has to set dress? It's interesting. But it's to be worn. Doesn't smell like burning clothes either. So it's quite Faithful to be in and it's a little cold because it yeah, hockey arena where in, so I am in a minute to winner, and I am not cold at all. I am quite warm. Actually, it's been a whirlwind trying to set up here. Yeah, guys. And showing at aneue Linden Victor in the camera here in 10 is recording from her phone. Here we are. We're in Sudbury. Actually, wearing cap? Real Caprio? Yeah. Hammer. Now, we're at the Caprio Lorena, right? Outside of Heaven. Location. I am sorry. Wait, pause, yeah, it's at least thing that's public Arena that they had eased out, but yeah, it's wild that we're here. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. And I mean, we have been sharing out a bunch of stuff on Twitter and on Instagram, all the pictures and videos we have taken so far nothing from today yet. But I will be posting that soon because before we were here, we were actually at the farm and that was, that was pretty cool. What did you think, Victor? I am just happy to any got out of there alive. Oh my gosh, explain. That dog was. There is a, so, there's a farm, dog. Don't give the name away. Just in case, just doesn't witness protection. Given the title dog was not Gus, it was another poppers, and he was growly, and he was, he had his ears back. Like, so, We were told that he was an anchor ankle-biter and Al's got shorts on today. So that was a little, we decided the best. The way to be been just stay in our pack and the dog wouldn't be able to pick off one of us. Oh my. So that. Yeah, I think he sensed my fear, and he enjoyed smelling me. Yeah, it was pretty cool though. Walking around and checking out, I mean, we got some great shots in the was at the tractor shed, I guess. And in front of The barn and everything, it's just it was so surreal. I mean we're arriving in the distance, you could see sort of the roof of the Farmhouse and you like there it is. There it is. And then you come around that there's a laneway there it is, there it is and then you walk on them. It's like it really is a shooting dream though. Like we're talking, so I don't say their names with the I crack care of from the yeah. The crew from the problems have been wildly generous with their time today. Thank you so much. And of course, Jared for allowing this all to happen, but they met us at The Farmhouse and gave us a little walk around. But it's so surreal, and we're talking a bit about the yeah. What a dream it is because it's such a great property, so many different locations, and they all get leveraged in the end, the show, one point or another. And then, of course the family we gave a wave to the gentleman live there, but very nice to let us on set. So it's just yeah. Just so surreal to be like, I think Victor you have said it's like, stepping onto a TV show. Yeah, well, yeah, well, we literally did and even though it was covered up something about it was there The produce stand was there. They had already had a wrapped up for because they I think they shoot those scenes early on and yeah in there shooting schedule. So but it's just sitting there, and I was absolutely and I will share the fire. I was laughing as him and Tina stood in front of a tarped piece of something. Yeah I took a photo of the wheels there. It's a surprisingly smaller than what you would expect it to be because I was like, it was like a tiny little trailer. Yeah. Yeah. But then this room the kitchen is so much bigger than what I expected it to be. I don't know, like, the wall behind Matt is it's, it's further than what? I thought it was. Yeah. And right now, that I mean, it's a little messy because they have obviously they're done shooting, and they're kind of putting everything away for till the next time they shoot, I guess. But we had a great tour of Shores. He's dressing room, the locker room area. The What's often that's office? Yeah, and we went into stews Stewart's basement, and I was so epic. It's as epic as it looks on the show, it's it wasn't fully dressed as missing. The table with the fake cocaine and all that s***. But the DJ booth was there, the couches train set was not there. Train set was not there that, right were poor but Victor got very sentimental. He's like, is this where they broke the guitar? He did. That's what he asked. And then we heard that it was only a few years ago. That they move the set here. So he's trying to trace it back. And what was your final does? It was the was it here or was it at the actual? I think it was at the actual basically. So this is just a gravesite of that guitar. Yeah. I have been tarnished has no bad juju that Linda, I mean, you're not on the podcast but you have been with us the whole weekend and I know I mean you have watched some of the Letterkenny but you kind of stopped after a while and I watched some of it. Yeah, I kind of stopped after around season 3. But I do catch them now and again yeah, Victor's watching them. So I am still, you know, remember a lot of the scenes and yes I still have my favorites and all that. All right, dude. What favorite like? What are some of your favorites? Well, one of my favorites is, I don't know if there's only one Christmas episode, but it's a Christmas episode where Wayne is gripping. He's sitting in that chair, just around the corner. Yeah, and my foot. My favorite gift is that he gives Stewart a bottle of vitamin D. Specific memory. I love it. Yeah, well, well done, what did you think of? I mean, we went around to different locations yesterday, and you are our camera person. You took all the so much less photography all weekend. My pleasure, I was happy to be part of it but it was as we were saying it's like being in New York where you feel like deja vu everywhere you go and write buildings. You feel like oh I know this place from up from a movie. I can't recall which one though. Yeah. And the same Thing being here in Sudbury and just seeing all the landmarks and saying, oh, I know that the doghouse. Yeah. Just the various places that we had drinks at the dog house last night. Where Shores, the in Laura more, where we first meet learn more? Yeah, we had a really nice dinner with our one of our favorite listeners. Michelle at an Alexandria. Is it? Hugs? Andrea's? Yeah. It was a good. I did. They send a rainy? And I didn't see you. I mean it was fine. Yeah and see a lot of Mediterranean specific on the man. You want to pass. Since a lot of time it was fine. I was really good but was cooler. The so our server. Oh yes it was kind of funny story there. So our waitress Stephanie, lovely girl, was we're going on and then, and she one point we got talking what we were doing here. And I said yeah we're doing it to her for Letterkenny and Shore Z, and she kind of ministry. Never watched show, but she's like, but I am on the show, and we said what do you mean? She's like, well my arm is, and then she went quiet and said she didn't want to tell us about it because of families embarrassed, and then she laughed Of course, we couldn't let that go by, and then we broke a so which scene is your arm, and we think what if she describes I camera which episode of was, but we're Gales appreciating her interaction with dicks game, and she does sort of the arm lock move in the back, everyone. In the background or talking about Dick, the have how large Dickens unit is, and she's stroking her arm distractor on the background. So if you remember that scene, look at that. Seeing the woman who's doing this. Yeah, as those who are watching. Video, this, that's Stephanie, and she right now. She's a waitress over at Alexander's. But she says she's got some plans to do other stuff, but yeah, but she said she had a blast being a part of it. And I mean, we really get that Vibe around. Sudbury anyone who talked about it, who obviously is aware, which is most people. There's a real good vibe in the town around Letterkenny and what people's involvement are different degrees. Even at a hotel right now, where we stayed at the Radisson and some of the staff, they are like, oh, they saw my Me wearing the shores, the shirt. And we're asking, or you guys still shooting is a no, no, we're not, we're not part of the show, we're just doing a podcast tour in this and, but they were very excited. Yeah, we have met members, they're so wonderful. They couldn't talk. Highly enough about the crew and cast of the Letterkenny ensure Z production teams. So that was nice to hear as well. So let us rewind a bit. Because how did we get here when we fast-tracked a lot? Yeah, we skipped over a lot of stuff just because it's so exciting to be where we are right now. But Matt you said you just recently listened Episode 0. And I am going to put it at the beginning of this podcast, the clip where tenure says, what? She's you know what? Actually just play the clip right now, because I have got it, queued up right here, hold on a second episode 0, the production meeting. Mmm. Yeah, this is tanyon episode, but by the end of this, I want to take this podcast on the road up to Sudbury, and we can all four of us do the Letterkenny tour. After all the social distancing is done. What do you guys think? Okay, Okay, I said yes to the you to the podcast. I am not sure I am taking a trip road trip. No, I am not sure. So we will just say, Daniel was firmly on the undecided side of it because it's the most extreme version of foreshadowing Eve. Ever seen an immediate production, there's perfect. So, because yeah, back then who knew what this was going to turn into, and I was just kind of dreaming out loud to say. Like, imagine if this I could go on, and we can go on a trip to Sudbury and go, you know, shoot some video or take some pictures or whatever, at some of the places where they shoot the show. That'd be great times like, are you crazy why? What, why would we want to do that fast-forward to this summer? I mean, you guys have been if you have been listening to the podcast you have been hearing 10, you go, we need to go and record and Sudbury going to do this. Let us do this. We're gonna do this, we should record a peppy Panini's, or we should do this, and we should do that. And finally, I said, okay, you know, you win again, I am an s*** or get off the pot but you know what it is. It's you Alan like I have seen you interact with actors and like through the summer, we have kind of bumped into people here there or had interviews and you get so darn excited. Like, I have never seen you more giddy than when like even getting that Cameo that the day one, the first Cameo, Tyler, Johnson that you received and that Your entire like year, like you were so the one you gave my birthday from danger and you breathe. Yeah, and you got so excited, like this guy is just going to lose his mind if we go to Sudbury. And, and this was just bonus, right? Like, we didn't even know that we're going to be able to get into the studio and to be able to see the sets and stuff. So this was just icing on the cake, really? Yeah. So see, it's sort of go back to that. So we had this trip planned. Anyway, we are going to, we were like in September. We're Going to Sudbury. We're going to go check out like so everything we did yesterday was already planned but I sent out a an email to the production team because they send us that pewter that nice gift from Kisa with the champagne and stuff I said hey just so you know we're, and we had no idea they were shooting this month here we had no idea is that we're planning on late, September coming up to Sudbury to you know, just to do a little bit of a Letterkenny tour, and they came back to us at all. All right, well let us see what we can do about getting you access to the studio and stuffing. Like what volunteer? Yeah. This amazing there. They offered it to us, and they said whatever you want to do, let us know, and we will try to make it happen and when I got on the phone with Kara she's a I think production manager on the set or on the shows. She said, all right well in the arena we have this set we have that set, and I am like what do you want to do? I am like, can we record the podcast from the kitchen? Yeah, of course you can what like I was just so, yeah, after that, we got so giddy, we couldn't wait to come. We almost didn't because we had a bit of a covid scare in the house. Thankfully that came up negative and everything was ok but wow. Like it's been a whirlwind couple of days. It's been, I mean and it's our timing. I mean it's fine. I think our timing allowed us to do this but I mean they wrapped up the most recent season just like three days ago. So Majority of Casco everyone's gone, you know and which is fine. We got this out of me would have been great to see a cold people. We had the opportunity, but we did meet, I will. Yeah, we will talk about that a second but it was noisy when we arrived here in the studio today, care when everybody's oh just so you know, Jared sends his best, and he wants to know he's so happy that were here and so nice grilled for us because we're just getting his f***. Yeah. And so thankful that they have given us, this opportunity to come and check this, this sounds great. Let It Go. Kenny celebrate them some more. Yeah, yeah. Oh, go ahead, picture. No, I was going to say ensure Z and sure that gotta remember that. Yeah, and part of our plan was to go to pitter-patter Panini, no sir, Pepe, Panini yesterday. And you know, I always mix those up, and so we went and really had a really good time. We tried the pitter-patter Panini and it was excellent. I love to very good. Victor did not. Yes, Victor did not forever, the contrarian Victor. What did you have? I had the Action. Veggie. Okay. And there was a giant mural painting of Venice. So I feel like I did a solid. Okay, was also a drake. Not a poster was like a neon light. I am sorry, cool. Actually / ripepperonis is really cool. I was quite impressed by the setup, they have in there and I know they have got it. What the restaurant kind of dinner. And then they do a nightclub, son of atmosphere and I can see how that could work. They have got it set up very well. Yeah. So, We had planned to interview J and Julia yesterday, unfortunately schedule conflict happened, and we couldn't, but he did come in for a visit. So we got to meet him in person and had a really great chat with him and it was a lot of fun. We took some pictures with him, and he has promised, and, and committed that he and Julie will come on a zoom interview soon so stay tuned for that. Is still going to happen. Just couldn't make it work yesterday. I mean, he's got lots to do, he's a business owner, they just wrapped up. Letterkenny, there's, you know, there's lots going on in his Is life. So we don't hold it against him, but we will see him eventually a very, a very welcoming guy. He was very handsome to come on, even in the again, the scheduling conflict for him, to swing, by the kind of caught us off some bike off guard. We were sitting at the table eating and also just standing beside us. Yeah, Michelle is toes. Trying to collect her heart? It's really shallow a little star-struck. It was really cute and but yeah, he's a real presence in. He just was very generous and was time in those moments and a great conversation. Yeah. We'd given up meeting him because Said all I think it can we can come out for an interview right now. So I was like, oh well but yeah, then he just showed up, and he is such a presence and, and so many great stories that we were off-air with him, but that he shared with us and oh my God. I was just, I was so lovely. Absolutely. I know, hopefully we will talk more about this when we do, but he, the one thing you said, made me really laugh. Was he's very self-aware. That he is, he has a look, right? It's something that stands out, and he's like, it's no joke that I have a look that people recognize, and he's like, I have gone. Gone many places and just out of nowhere. So I am gonna come running off the running of the water on the beach and like come up and grab me a nice like he's very hard to come up and like spin them around like oh my God. Who would do that is taking a picture with him? I am like I don't want to touch you like your body because I feel like I would be like, that would be an appropriate, right? Oh my I know it was a real highlight yesterday. Have a quick chat with him. Yeah. And speaking of Michelle, you know, Michelle are one of our listeners, she's been on the show before she's the forensic experts said, Barry resident, and she lives in Sudbury. So when we told her, we were coming up here where like, and we're coming up here, and we got to meet you in person since we're here, and so she came out joined us, and we all went out for a nice dinner afterwards and it was a great time. And then we went to the doghouse for some drinks. Yes. And yeah. So a lot of fun. Yeah. We were playing video. We were doing videos of shore, Z in the doghouse and looking to see, you know, what was different, what was changed about it? And at one point the room went totally quiet and it was like the other tables were listening to us, and we became very conscious of the Nerds that we were all didn't help that might or Victor was talking about Schrödinger's Cat and something like yeah the guys behind did not look very well. It's like rest of the cars going on here. I am trying to watch the hockey game and there's a guy Given a lecture on particle physics, Quantum on some Physics, whatever. I want to make this relationship using particle physics. And Quantum is the cat dead or isn't the cat? Yeah, that's all I took from it. That's a, I don't know, I don't know. That's not all key point that all came up because we almost lost Victor this. Oh, that's right. That's right. Oh, we need to tell that story. Do we need to relive it? I am gonna we are at the original Arena. Letterkenny. GE Arena. I think yankel was a big hole, you know. Is that the a call? That's right. So right over. They first meet Dickens. Yeah. And it was actually a really busy Place. Lots of cars there and there's lots of stuff happening is a Saturday. So there's hockey happening in the arena and there's like, three two or three business, baseball diamonds outside, and they were all, they all had a game going, so it was a very happening, busy place, and we're walking back from the field to get to it to our cars. I am walking ahead of everyone, and all I hear is, Heads up, heads up like crack of the bat? Yeah, bracket someone had a wild foul ball, and I was in front of it because I remember from my angle, I heard them yelling. I am like what and I look up and I see this big green softball coming straight at Victor and I don't even have time to react and it missed him. I swear by like a foot, hit the ground beside. It was in the thing bounce across our like, that was a scary-ass moment. Yeah. Thankfully, nothing happened but it was a parking lot full of cars. And I don't understand how that bald missed might me or any of the cars but it was pretty incredible and that's how shrewd enshroud should Schrödinger's. Cat Schrödinger's cat came up because then I went and picked up the ball. And as I was about to throw it back, they all immediately ridiculed me assuming that I wouldn't be able to prolong the salt. Don't embarrass yourself. Yeah. They assume they didn't know how to throw a baseball, which for the record. I threw a perfect throw bags. Okay. It was right to the guy. You're still recovering from it. My arms, a little sore, but that's not the point your shoulder cracks. That was the others. At the bar your shoulder cracked and then it brought on the whole anyway before you through it, that ball was either going to be a bad throw or good throws. Schrödinger's cat came into the topes particle physics or quantum physics. Quantum physics came into our, will I throw the ball or will I not throw the yeah, because Al you, grabbed your phone right away? And you're like, I got a videotape, I don't know, those my phone because I wanted video this because either going to be an awesome Epic throw or an epic fail. It's not, will you, or will you not? It's, will you Fail or not? Okay, well I succeeded. So I the cat's alive you did I didn't get the video but there's no evidence of it. There's no proof. I don't need to prove so it could be our word against yours. We could all like just get together and say. Yeah circumstantial. Yeah. And then the story goes and then Matt threw it and it hit a car, not, because of the bat. That's a real stir right now. It was an excellent throw, it was. All right, well, let us go around the table here and let us talk about the weekend, Victor. You're I don't know why I am asking you now. Let us let him do. Let us do this. Rant was the highlight of your weekend. There's actually lots of highlights but I think chasing the Train on a highway. It was fun, pay attention to his phrasing. They're chasing the train. If you don't follow us on Twitter, you should. There's a video of us on Twitter and Victor's. Geeking out over this train near the model of it and everything. Oh, it's whatever model train and yeah, I think II was actually Ryan. So it's It was a GP 38, but I think it was an AC 4400. So, how dare you? You have now, been excommunicated from the trash is not going to be happy but, you know, going on 200k or whatever we were, you know, it's hard to catch as you thought we were going, I don't know. I was looking in from the back of the van, it's all obscure, it's all a blur. It's always, it's a back, goes faster than the front because of that, like after that experience, you could have died. Happily. Oh, yeah. It was just literally 10 minutes later. You almost died. Genuinely, like so excited. Like this is the Highlight. Well, it wasn't just the train. It's the fact that there's a train crossing, like every second light and, and it's hard to kind of make any Rhyme or Reason. I love it because the it's like the trains just go everywhere. It's like Mexican train dominoes if anyone's play logistically, it doesn't make me. We talked about this last weekend there are tracks going every which way through this town. I don't know how they're not hitting each other and these are freight train tracks. Just it's not passenger train, so they are there everywhere like we were making a joke that we could definitely make a drinking game out of it. Like if it were as long as the driver wasn't until I was going to say we would have been so drunk anyway. So that's the Highlight, is that true? We're here for Letterkenny s*** and I let you know, but the highlight my second highlight is also not Letterkenny related, but I am not going to say it because I feel like as you go around the table, somebody will bring up that story. All right. What about today? I mean what did you think of the farm? I mean like you know, Matt said what I said. It's like stepping into a television show. Yeah it's just it's very surreal. And it's funny, right? Can going to the farm is like, seeing the outside and then coming here seeing the inside. Yeah. And I don't know, it's just really, really out-of-body. Kind of experience. It's just very, very neat. I can't wait to go back and start watching these episodes right in a different way. Sure. Right. It's it will be more personal. It will be more personal. I think I will have a different connection to it. So yeah I am really looking forward to that for both. Letterkenny ensures it. Yeah. Linda I mean In your, you know, you're not as a fervent a fan as maybe we are, but what did you think of the weekend? What's your highlight first? The whole weekend was amazing and I have to say the Highlight is being here right now in the kitchen around this table, right? And being included in this podcast, it's very special for me. Thank you guys for so wonderful experience. But also, I just find it that, you know, it's getting caught up in the fantasy of just being here. Where, yeah, I have to go to the washroom and then I go over there to the washroom but it's Upstairs. See, what's upstairs? There's no Upstairs Downstairs. Just the fantasy of know, it's really cool. Yeah. So curiously in these Shores ESET bathroom. It did suspiciously smell of urine. Very, very authentic. It was the wrap party might have gotten a little unhinged here with the crew. I don't know. Yes, 10, before we ask you your highness, Highlight kudos to you and your Dua tank because you kind of you plan the whole weekend down to the T. The itinerary is yours. The time. Everything about this was your doing welcome. Yes. What's been your highlight? This is what I do. I am a planner and I am a mom. I totally, I totally mom doubt on this like when she did yes Nola bars and water and like, I know that there's some sweet tooth's in the room. So I had like some chocolate smell some child. A whole f****** tub of Eminem's like chocolate-covered Eminem's is crazy. Yeah, yeah, I would totally mob this whole thing. I didn't have my kids here. So everybody became my children. I think at this point and oh my God, there's so many fun little moments that we have had and shared already on this trip. One of them was I think what you were thinking we decided we were doing some Letterkenny stuff, and we were also doing some sightseeing Sudbury stuff Sudbury, and we went over. Were to Bell Park, and we you know, this is when you shouldn't listen, always two ways and the instructions it gives you two getting into things ways. Had any taken this one? Well, it's a shirt and your locations on the right. So location on the right and then we turned right? And then Linda was my co-pilot here, and we went in and it was a weird kind of entrance, and we're like oh this is like the Canada's largest mural. And so we were, and I am like, oh there's a the helicopter pad from the old Jesse I am going to give him a seizure like a helicopter pad, hello? Pat. It can be also called a helicopter pad. I like will use the whole word. I will try to backpedal on this one. So yeah, it quickly became apparent to us. That we were no longer on a road that we should be driving on or a path that we should be driving. Gone but we didn't really give up on that path until much further into the park where we're like there was no sign indicating cars but there was a sign saying no bikes it's true but there was nothing saying no cars, and we just continued on and until we had some to be clear you continued on your driving we had some people's out of this. We had some people. Oh I am going to change my angle here. We had some people do. Just turn that one off. Yeah, we had some people walking along the path coming towards us, so we decided we should probably ask. Is this something that opens up into a parking lot? And they're like we feel that this is not a driving and whatever don't feel. This is right if we don't feel this as right. So yeah, we did some Under head, they're saying, what are you f****** moron? This is clearly a hiking biking path. What are you doing on this cyclist that? I swear intro. I know would have given me the finger but a broken SideView mirror, but here he was like I just did a double take and then just laughed at me. He's up. He owe me. I like to, I watch him very closely. He went through like multiple stages of emotional. We're like it started with the Kanger, like she was going to lose his mind. And then I think he recognized that over loss and then went to like annoyance to laughter. Like he went through a whole cycle At that moment just waved us off and kept going. Maybe this is a driving part, and we don't know Pretty sure about how here what he thought about it because on our way back while we're walking we did a little his wife visualization. I think his vicar said okay we're walking now and just the thought of somebody coming towards us in a van now seems so ridiculous. Like yeah seems so wrong. Yeah so that was a fun little moment of and then I had to pull like a Mater where I had to like drive backwards out of the whole damn thing in order to get back around. So that was a fun little part. Oh my goodness. What was I going to say? So the part of that tour was supposedly non Letterkenny part, but we later on found a develop Park is actually where the relationships the soft. Yeah. The soft date portion of relationships happen at Parkland was serving ice cream. He was working at the ice cream truck so who knew? Yeah there yeah, yeah, that was so much fun. Oh, there's been a so many funny moments and then Matt. And I the whole champagne so as our this Our Nova as our listeners. Know, we were gifted a bottle of Dom Perignon from Jared, and we decided this would be the best place to crack it open. And we're in Sudbury, and we were in our hotel, but we didn't bring champagne glasses, I thought the bottle, but I forgot the glasses, and I was like, okay, with the glasses would break if I brought anyways. So there was a dollar store, which is so sad like Let us just be clear. We have a very expensive bottle of champagne and contemplating the dollar store to get drinking. Yeah. Champagne flutes and glasses in the hotel. But those were like, just glad you're holding out on us because we did call the desk as a hey can you send up some even wine glasses? And they said no. I am like come on there's yeah there's got there somewhere. You just you're lying so that was quite funny Matt and I ran down to the dollar store and It wet glass would be appropriate for a said bottle on for very long. It was a real Mission. We had multiple in our hands, including plastic ones, something you need to know about Tanya and the dollar store sheet, we talked about the produce and Portal 2 tan yet. Any dollar store is Portal. Sorry is a Time Warp portal. She will walk into a dollar store and be in there for an hour and not knowing that she will come out going, what? I was only a few minutes I am like you were in there for An hour. And how do you spend like $150 at a dollars? What I can justify this visit this was there is some serious contemplation going on and ultimately I mean I feel good about our decision. We yeah, we ended up going with the most expensive options they had before, dollar-for-dollar champagne, flus, and we also because of our situation, bought dish soap and a scrubby brush, because we needed to clean said, poor dollar flutes, but all that it was a, it was a pretty hilarious. Yeah, it was in my Oh my God. Yeah, it was just so much fun and just meeting Jay and Michelle. And it's just, it's been so much fun, just so much fun, and you guys being here and Linda, being my co-pilot, and Victor, just losing his, his mind with the trains. It's just been. So, and even going, although even the, the there happened to be a market over at the community center when we were at a train station. Was it doubled as a train station? I am like totally did that on purpose like time that out proper? And there were trains coming and going. And we lost Victor at one point, and I was like oh that's where he is. He's looking at the trains so much fun. All right Matt how about you? What's your highlight so far? Is so fun. So the honest answer is you guys that I mean it's a full real. No it's a full reality. This is I have laughed so hard the last couple like especially all the like oh my God I just we have done. But laugh and now you kept saying, you wish you had a recorder on when we oh my God the conversation. I wish we had captured just as if you think they're ridiculous. Sometimes on the show, take it up a level. They were, they were compares. The conversation between you and your little new friend in the car. Oh my god. Oh yeah, is wrong with her band. They need to get it checked out and maces weird, creepy knocking sound every time. They turn it on and it scared the s*** out of me at least four times. It's right beside you beside me in the backseat. Your this little So every time you start a little child and spice, tapping on the window, we're just reminding you sleep last night because your jump again, the 8th time. I got used to it, but it took me. There was, there was a growth period there. For know, it's true. Like live the time, like yesterday in this funny you know we're doing this tour and going to all these occasions and it rained out its Sudbury, right? It's their locations. And you know, we went to some of the older ones, and they're a little beaten up to say that. Oh yeah, all this stuff from season. One is yeah, it's a part of Sudbury. That's its a little sad. Actually, it is a little sad and it's hard to sometimes when you don't see all the stuff there, it's hard to see beyond it and realized this was it was you kind of to really put yourself in that fantasy as you described it and say this is where It was right. So we went to whole bunch of thing. So I had some struggles at a few of those. Yes, it was still cool to go around but hanging to you guys with the best and then Michelle, of course. And now today, you guys saw it. I got really good. He's so the farmers really cool. But as soon as I stepped into the arena, I did this little dance and I have done it multiple times as I stepped into the various cell, you know, it's getting ready to record, you couldn't wait to start record. Oh my God, you're kind of annoying. Actually, it's okay. I will take it mans. This is like it's Lead jig. Yeah. We're behind the cloth now, and you're seeing this and you're just walking around like the shores. The thing was amazing into stewards basement, my Guster it and now into the kitchen. I could have I am looking at everything like we're, like I am opening cupboard doors and there's nothing there. Yeah, that's amazing. There's little things that there's actually no cupboard. It's just wood. Yeah. Like they're just, they're just faced. There's nothing behind it, which is makes sense. Why would you? There's no need for it but like, the little details you never. Percy, as her walking around, like, on the fridge, there's mom's what pot roast recipe or something? I took a picture to make, it looks pretty ridiculous, but I feel like we need to make it. There's like to do lists and there's a picture of the farm which they are carrying. Craig said they believe is the actual Farm owners took the photo, and they put it here. It's just the details that you don't take in the moment, being able to have some time to walk around. It's yeah. Now I am wearing oh and another bar. Some of the stuff that Just kind of laying there like the cross that Glen used for the Easter episode, The pitter-patter. No. Sorry the St. Patrick's Day. What's, what was the score lead? And man, I am blanking on that, but yeah, like the help you take stand-up thing. Yeah, of L2. Like the same say that this at. So although all of you who saw the tour, the produce stand set that they used is often the corner right behind 10 set somewhere from where I am sitting. I mean, yeah, you like do all these sets are set up in this hockey arena. But as you walk around the edge, there's like little glimpses of all the amazing moments that we have taken in through the season and it's just very cool to absorb all that. So yeah, this is to me, I mean, is a hi I am super nerding out a spade like I am wearing his f****** Barn clothes and not even the real ones but it's just I had to get into the moment although happy and so thankful they let us do this. I will be stitching together. A video of the whole weekend. So we will have It all in one place and put it up on our YouTube channel. Might take a while. So please folks, I have been really busy with work. Please be very patient but as soon as I can I will post a video because there's a lot of great stuff and I don't know what's been your eyes. Yeah, I was going to ask you did awesome words. I mean, it's funny the van, this is being in the van with you guys again and I mean it's not joking. I wish I would set up a mic. I wish I had the forethought set him on Mike because I would have been a whole episode on its own and probably the funniest s*** we have ever recorded. Corded between you and Victor at each other and tanyon it just, yeah. It was just so much fun. But today like driving up to the farm was kind of surreal. It was surreal and it's such a beautiful day. Yeah. Like the sun is out. It's clear skies, it's nice, brisk feeling. It was the perfect setting to walk onto that property and take it in when we even took a photo at the back of the house and where you can't and Linda's, like I can't see your, and we're like, we know, we know, you know, the point. We had to service. We had to like MacGyver is, so he squatted down to it, who cares? Yeah, we didn't think I had, but we set fire to have, but then we forgot to bring the Charles. Yes. But there is a picture with one of the authentic chairs. Yes, that's right. Yes. And of course, victory was the one who got to sit in it so that was probably screwed it in and out to the my capacity as reaction. The, I mean, yeah, yesterday's highlights. I think we're just, you know, meeting Michelle meeting Jay, just everything around. Like, going to the locations were fun and just kind of, you know, driving around Sudbury. It's a very interesting City to say the least. It's there's a lot of really great stuff to see like character and a lot of character in this city. I feel like that. I mean, I have now with my other podcast, I visit a lot of other Canadian towns and stuff, it's the same everywhere, right? So, there's going to be a little bit of poverty, a little bit of A little of that. But then there's also the really vibrant parts of the city and real Pockets. Yeah, well actually, when you guys came up it was a hockey. Get well you couldn't find anyone. Yeah. So streets are empty, and then we just came upon the site the community at what is called the community Arena. Yes sir, everyone. And everybody was there like everybody. And it was the kids were, and they were having I think because of the reconciliation. Yeah, yeah that was on the Friday. No Child Left Behind as well. And that's the slogan, every child matters. That's what it was. Yeah, they're all good. All good slogan. Yeah. Anyway, so it was like a big. So half the people were in these orange shirts and the other half were working, Sudbury Wolves shirts and it just looked like a great time. Giant there was a wolf Planet will fire the inflatable. Well that was great, fun for the kids to walk through. So and some adults And a nice statue of Stompin Tom as well. Yeah, we took a picture with Stompin, Tom Connors, the reason of turmeric and friends, why that's important is he wrote the song Sudbury Saturday night. So if you want to check that out, its country music. So if you like that kind of stuff, you might enjoy stomping. He's our country music and something else that's like a separate, its focus. And he's, I mean, he's a legend in Canada so everyone knows stopping time. He's written so many song hockey game? Yeah, a lot. Of songs and it's all about canadiana. So Stompin Tom is definitely a legend actually stands on a wooden plank, and he Stomps on. Yeah, that's why they call him stomping time. Yeah, I did not know. There you go. Now, you know, now we stopped in time before he was just home but now he stopped and just go watching YouTube videos of him and you will see I probably would have noticed that unless I would have seen him stomping. But I didn't realize he was standing on something to amplify it. Yeah but it's the Sudbury is a great, great town, like very Charming, a bill I am mining. So nickel and or the mining monument at Bell Park. That was one of the reasons we went to Bell Park, which ended up we have deemed the portal. Yeah. So yeah if ever come to Sudbury go to Bell Park. And there's what's the you know the statues called as a statue. Mining Monument. Yeah. Oh yeah. And it's a really cool-looking statue of like two hands digging into the Earth, but then on both sides of it, it tells a story of, you know, when you know, the beginnings of mining to like, where it's all. Out in the country. And then it will be the end of the big city that's been built on mining and stuff and it's really well done. We had we took some pictures of detail on yeah on. Yeah. And it's funny because it is like a circle and it wasn't till like after sitting there looking for a few minutes. Realize. Oh it's completely different on the other side. Yeah, but you said it's like one side is the past. One side is the present and evolution is really cool. It's unreal a very well done and it's not a memorial. It's a monument on you celebrate the mining history of the Town. Yeah. Then you have science North which I think is like a science center kind But then the other place we went to with the pumpkins. What was I doing the with where the big nickel, but I think it was the name of the place, something there. That's the mining Museum. So that was pretty cool to have. You can go down into the mine. Yeah, we was closed when we went there. But apparently you can only go into mine at night which really found peculiar. Yeah. That is interesting. Wouldn't it be always night? Your underground like this on down there. It's relevant. I guess he feels that way. Oh, and then there were the pumpkins that were all Getting ready for Halloween season. It was a real pumpkin. Yeah. I mean it was a great time. We're like a lot of fun and it's coming to an end, a little sad. But yeah, we got the big drive home ahead of us. And really our job, y'all came up separately. Oh we will talk about the drive for a second because yeah. So Victor and Linda you guys came up like Friday afternoon. Like I got a text from you say, oh, we have checked into the hotel, I am still Working and with, oh, that's nice Tangy. And I stopped to drop the kids off and that was like a long process is that, by the time we got on the road, by the time we got up here was like 10:00 at night, is a bribe to make that drive at night. Well yeah, so Highway 69 is a little. Yeah, there're no lights, no lights at all. Anyone coming up this way, beware of that is, and it's a one on one lane. So like you have got head-ons and it's just like, oh, and deer and moose, and we didn't see it. Luckily, we didn't see Chipmunks, We saw an accident. Dent and fortunately, it was a pretty serious looking accident. But so we were delayed a bit coming up here but thankfully, no moose. But then the next day, Matt, yes, yes I left because I couldn't come up on Friday. So I got up at 5 AM Saturday morning and hit the road. And so three and a half, three hours, and 45 minutes driver. So I hit the road and I did see a moose so about 45 minutes north of Parry Sound when you're on a Highway 69. And I knew that this is a like a reality of the north, you have to be observed. Glad the light was out and I had lots of lead. Time was pretty spectacular, actually. So I could see up in the distance. Something moving, I started to slow down and sure enough. This big magnificent Bull Moose steps out onto the road right in front of me. Did he have the big antlers? Yeah. The bull the male's? Like it was huge. I could stick a drink. Yeah. He just trotted over. It's like he was caught by the time. I was slowing down, and he was when I was probably 20 30 feet from him, and he went by, it was amazing like that, it brought New Life in me that moment in the morning is ours, so apropos that you're the one who saw the moves, considering you have a dog named? Yes, yes, yes. It's all the real deal. So it was cool. I mean, just it's a reality check that this is where we are and this is very much nature at its finest up here and there're towns that live amongst them. Yeah. It's beautiful. Yeah. Well, I mean before we wrap it up the desert anything I don't want to leave anything on the table, although, you know, we have lots of time to talk about it but if there isn't anything, we will start with final comments, and we will start with Victory here on my Eight. Yeah, this the again, like what I said before, surreal, and I am now kind of pumped to go and start re watching a lot of the both Letterkenny and Shores. He's episodes that again, I am going to enjoy in a completely different way, right? And, and Linda's going to watch yours you with me. So, I am looking forward to that. We're so jealous of you Linda, that you haven't seen shores of yet because you have got so much to experience. Its yeah, looking forward to it. Each said and everything that went into it now that I have experienced all of this. Yeah. And so, you know, that's, that's the show part of it. But for me again, hanging out with you guys, tiny. All the work you put into it just, you know, just incredible and you know, just you guys are awesome. And, you know, we're just going to continue to do this. I guess until we're not, and I am not even thinking about that. So yeah, Linda, what do you have? No, I just wanted to thank everybody again for inviting me along and letting me tag along and Tanya for all of you didn't take long, you played an important role here, you help this document the whole trip. So part of the podcast is weekend. Yeah, it was a great experience. So I just wanted to thank you guys again. Okay? Yeah it's just been phenomenal and oh my God it just it, it changes, it. It changes a lot like And as you guys are saying, I really want to watch it again. It's like it's just makes it so much bigger than what it was before. The first round. Before the first round, come on, the first round, I was being forced into it. Like yeah, you hate a richer watching. Yeah, I was not listening back to that first comment of. Yeah, we're not going there. Landon to me now saying. Yeah let us go. Let us go get Molly go. I have got the itinerary it The door Tang. Yeah, it's just there're no words. I want to thank the patrons. You know, this was a lot to do with them. And we thank you guys for helping us get here. And we hope that you have enjoyed the experience through US of visiting here, and seeing what we have seen and listening to our jurors and experiences and thank you so much to them for sure. Absolutely not. Yeah, I don't even know where to begin. Like, it's it almost feels like a, like, I don't know. It's just like the culmination of everything we have gone listening. But yeah, it's wild. I, I still laugh, and we talked about this originally and no more f****** here. And sadly, I almost didn't even make it. I mean, I had to do some scheduling changes had to get some permission from the home because imagine wife is at home with all three kids all weekend. So she let me come. Thank you, Jen. Thank you, John. You jam? Yes. And yeah, it was, we're sending Matt home, a bottle of red wine for you. Yeah, thank you for allowing me to leave her alone. I have got a few messages over the weekend. I have been trying not to ignore them but their, but no, this is just, it's surreal. And I just the fact that we have come this far, I am very thankful for all of you. I am thankful for our patrons, our listeners, the evolution of this show is been completely out of this world and the fact that we're f****** sitting here, like, I am Looking up, and I am seeing a top of a hockey arena and looking out at a window, and I am seeing others set. Like this is the coolest f****** day and the longest time I can remember, and I am so thankful for the Letterkenny crew and Jared and Cara and Craig today for showing us around and everyone has been so gracious and giving with their time over the last couple of years through the interviews and it's just it's a community through and yeah, they just a fantastic world around the show and very Grateful portal. Yeah, you know what I really wish I had a brought like a yogurt for picture because just even watching him eat the creme brulee last night so mad at me with so much fun just to watch your interaction together between Victor and Matt but like you know just want to just like that feel. Come on, just pause here for a second. Just like picture in the back your mind, like all the episodes that we have seen. I like going crazy, dairy going crazy on the yogurt and that was at this table, then looking at the window for the spelling bee the know the spell it like Wayne looking out that window, it would have been Wayne looking out that window you know and it was the pose and doing the spelling bee or like Katie in the back there and things are too bad. I can't, I can't stand up real fast like. Yeah. Yeah. Or like go to the All right, don't come up the lane like the phones right there like right there, just room where everyone was having the intestinal issues during the Christmas episode is right there. Although it's not a bathroom if you walked it. There's no toilet. Yeah, squirrely Dan. Going off on like his rants sitting right there or like, Katie or Katie come in half dressed and going up the stairs and the whole not my for that Ben Kingsley, stood right there. Right? Right. Yeah. Yeah. It's like we are there any more real than this? Like I saw the Lazy Boy or the recliner in the other room, and I am like yeah, so Wayne sat right there and the whole Christmas where he was giving it the presence, right? The Christmas tree would have been in the corner there and giving out the presents and everybody was, you know, often the in the carpeted area there. And oh my gosh, like we're here. Yeah, we are at that table. Any table is we have the details? This is it in sink it in have the moment where it's just like, yeah being in the moment. It was, let us tell crazy. Yeah, so I Echo what everyone says here, especially the part about the patrons because this weekend was brought to you by the are brought to us. Yeah. By the patrons. So you guys know we don't do this for money, and we don't make a whole lot of money doing it, and we just barely make enough to pay for hosting fees and stuff like that, and then we put some away. And every once in a while, I will like we had like last year, I think we had that take. Yeah. Okay, dinner, we had fun and this time around, I am like well what are we going to do? You know, with the patron money and I offered you guys like gift cards or something? And I think it's victory is you who said let us do something an experience that we can all enjoy and it was your right is a perfect idea instead of like using the money to buy stuff that you know, will use up and throw away or whatever. This is an experience and this is something we will never forget, and We owe it all to the patrons. The patrons help pay for this for our hotel, stay in for the nice meal. We had yesterday with Michelle and stuff. That was all, this is all patrons. Some of the new equipment, I had to buy. Thank you guys, and we're just going to continue doing this because we love doing it. But, you know, hopefully you enjoy watching it to give back and your support is so humbling. Yes, I will apologize to the patrons on behalf of mad as he was eating his creme brulee like in the end of God. But we always entire week, and we found ourselves sitting beside each other, which just continued to fuel these interactions. I would love observing. And I just like, sat back and I watched the two of you, I knew Victor was going to have issue, because you were like, creme brulee and you're mixing it up while you're eating it, like Dairy, eating a yogurt mixing it up, and I am like, oh Victor's gonna catch on to that turkey Taps the top because it's crunchy, and he does look a little bit at a time. Really not that one but and I know you called me on this yesterday. It's kind of 50/50 some of its accidental and what I do other half is like let us see if I can get a little rise. I am stoking the fire when I see opportunity and it's so worth it. No Victor takes opportunity to like the whole having the sip of the champagne and then sir coughing I am like that may or may not be planned but you were right. Victor does do things to get a rise out of people. He won't admit to it but it's true. We poked at each other and it's fun. And we have a new episode idea, came up to us that while we were watching some interactions here between Victor and Linda that we have to have games night. At some point of what was the games that's where we catch berries or tab is one of those? Yeah, yeah, because it's just been so comical listening to everybody catching what the other person's thinking. Because they can't come out with a fast enough or can't remember the details. Yeah, it's lots of laughs just get lots of laughs. Yeah, great times. Unfortunately we can't, you know, we got to bring this to an end, but we're going to continue it while we're gonna have to tear it all down to like the message is made here. But thank you all for listening. Thank you for the page to the patrons for helping us get here. And I am going to play us off with a sauna unfortunately. It's just the same song we played off last week because I didn't have time to load a new one. So this is it. This is Playboys. By the deadly snakes. And that's all we have for this episode.
