Faced by indigenous peoples and our commitment to creating dialogues aimed at addressing such systemic Injustice. Wayne's desire to help is coming at a price. His charms interrupted, not once, not twice, but Thrice squirrely Dan. Suggest they go start. A cable-access show to answer questions and offer up advice, that's fresh. Produce stand there. That's a beauty. What do you listen to my favorite? Murder podcast. Jagan torrents podcasts. The produce stand f****** sexy. It's thirsty. Thursday. And that means we are once again hanging out. At the produce stand a podcast paying tribute to the Great Canadian show. Letterkenny. Now, I know what you're thinking, there are many other podcasts about Letterkenny out there, but this one bets use can crack an egg. So I am out your host and joining me in the room. As is always the lovely, Tanya and online, we have squirrely mat. And the proclivity is Victor. And joining us this week, he likes tweeting about beer and Brewing. He's a transplanted Canadian Living in Maine, he's into drums, lots of drums, he's a patriot, And he's a good guy. He's a really good guy. Please join me and making some noise for Adrian wondrous. Oh my gourd Hadrian! Welcome back to the produce stand. How are you doing? Not too bad? How are you out? Pretty good. I mean, feels like we just spoke. To you because we had you were on last week on this week, I called social? So you know what you can take part in our, how's your week? Been since we have already spoken to house. That seems good to me. Okay, I don't get any of that do this every week. Yeah. Are, you know, all right, the lineup today is going to be Matt tenía, El Victor, and we will let our guests have the last word, Matt, and how was your week. It's, but I will say better, what else say? And I am going to, I am going to start this in this way. So, Honestly everything right now is kind of s*** show my son. He just actually was sick for almost a month. He just got better. So this is the youngest. Yeah, this is all right. He had that cough? Yeah, yeah, it was, it got really ugly. It was, it was a long sleepless night Road. We're over that, which is great. My puppers, for those who know is going through, he's about to go through a really hard time. He has to have surgery, all those who reach it offers some support. Thank you so much, you have no idea what it means to us. It's yeah it's a big expensive procedure that we have to have done to him it sucks. And what we have been told, why at the end of this you will be good. He will be a happy puppy Beyond this, and we just want the best for him. So I will give updates on that. But on the end of time, I feel like the last little while I have been very negative because there's a there's honestly, it's been a lot of s*** going on. So I am going to, I am going to shift, and I am going to focus on good things. And I am going to try to highlight those because they're near and far between right now, but they're still there. Or, so I would say my week was good land Friday. I got out for a long overdue run, I actually ran 21.1 K. Wow. Or to our American friends that would be thirteen point one which is half-marathon and I just it was not how far I intended to run but it's how far my legs took me and it felt f****** awesome. And yeah so that was good. And then at work I am having a great week I actually Lee, there's an external award process. Now, you would even know about this that some of the work that I have been leading specifically has been put forward to this committee and actually the work I have been doing has been shortlisted as a finalist and. So that's pretty exciting. Yeah, you know, we have done it we have this is a project that actually you might my VP last all the time that nobody asked me to do. I just kind of set up these meetings and started doing something and then luckily I was right, and we have gone down this awesome path and I have solved some pretty cool things and now we're getting this kind of recognition, so it's pretty awesome for myself and the people that working directly with it. So we're pretty excited. He weather. Yeah, I mean whether anything comes with her not a week, whether we win just to get even shortlisted. As a finalist is pretty awesome. It's kind of career high right now and so yeah, there's some good, that's great, that's really exciting. Yeah, thank you, Tanya. How was your week? My God, my weeks exhausting. Like we had our show on. I think that was Tuesday, was it? I don't remember. Yeah, two days ago. What we yeah, we Alex. Yeah. Yeah. Wait, way back on Tuesday. I am telling you, that's how long the week has and I actually. So, this is our first week with the kids home. Our son is taking a class for high school, a Kickstart. And our daughter is just kind of twirling her thumbs, so I have taken upon it. Myself to run a day care for her and entertain her and try to work at the same time. So I have come up with some pretty interesting ideas on how she can spend her time. So she it's not just all tablet, all day long. So I took we took a deck of cards and hid 52 cards around the house. And she had to do a scavenger hunt and find the cards, and, and that helped her with counting and find the cards. And then we just took it. One step further where I kidnapped all of her stuff. He's and took a mug shot of them, and then they went and partied around the house. So it's just like this constant battle in my head of what can I do next and yeah it's it. I just make my life more complicated, I think. So you need to write a book. This is amazing. These two items I am doing this weekend. Yeah, it's really absolutely went nuts for it. She really, really enjoyed it, and she wakes up just like waiting And like wanting the next thing. So if we make days of the week and you know today was fish day and it was supposed to be just random fish all over the place, and she had to fish for things. And anyways I didn't get there because I stayed up till 1:00 in the morning. Doing work from my other my full-time job, my actual job. Yeah. It's gonna be pulling a lot of things right now, and I am exhausted. Yeah, yeah, running on empty but I think A little loopy. Now so glasses. Looking extra full tonight is about fun, loopy, Tanya tonight. So it will be and I will be I am interested to find out about her thoughts on this episode anyway my week. So great news. So 10 you got her second vaccine last Wednesday. Want to say yeah, I got mine last Friday, and so we're double that. Well I mean I guess in a couple weeks we will be considered double vacs. We're seeing people, and we're seeing people, I mean, Things are things other than dates is like, oh yeah, we have been seeing people for a month. Yeah. They're two or three been looking at each other, what a low. So, we went up to Horseshoe Valley too tenuous sisters for a few days. And it's a get away and have kind of, a bit of a vacation that was fun. We spent a whole day at the beach and, you know, that was, you know, almost normal and yeah. And then this week, Alex has entered the interview with Alex was so much fun. Oh God, Adrian are amazing. Thank you was amazing. Yeah, yeah. It's up to us for our patrons right now. It will be up on a regular feed. Next Tuesday is a good guy. He's a really good guy. He's a really good guy and I sent him a t-shirt Adrienne for your reference. No sightings yet. No sir. Oh, yeah. I was, I was gonna ask the same thing. I am like, have you ever just crossed paths then? Oh, no. That's right. Because he's in your hood. I was like, yeah. I was wondering. Yeah, so Abbi, he doesn't, he's kind of hard cut. He's a hard guy to miss Torres. Wildlife it. Now least. Now I know if I see a tall guy, I have got a 50/50 shot that's him. Yeah, and if he's wearing a produce stand t-shirt, then you will be able to really its color. Did you send us a sahib right? He chose. He chose the light blue with the patch logo which is a circle and stuff so that he will get that in a couple of weeks. So maybe you will see him walking around and produced, and he's right shirts. Yeah, just watch her. Yeah. So that was my week. I will you Victor? Yeah, it was a good week. I had some time off. We were given some extra days around this weekend around, so what was the holiday Thursday was the holiday? So we were given the Friday off the Monday and Tuesday off as well. So nice so life extended time, and so I planned, of course, the typical activities one with plan over their holidays and simulator. Well, I certainly did but No I had my first sex scene shot. Yeah good. Yeah and my second one is scheduled for August 7 so you know won't be long now and I went to the dentist so you know a lots of really fun things. Sounds like yeah, then beyond the exact same thing after my first shot. I am like, all right, let us do the dentist. Yeah. So you know, you don't get a discount that then you know what, when you're having. Teachers Don on your person. You don't want to get discounts doesn't you know you're right. You don't want to Bargain shop for like laser eye surgery or dental work for laser eye surgery. Buy one get one free and I jump in with a really quick story. Go forever. Here's what she will kill me. So we teased you have no normal since go ahead. I know it's she certainly doesn't listen, so it's okay. So a few four years ago, she went got that micro blading done, right? Okay. Yeah. Which is where they basically do like a, Reloj Pigman tattoo of your eyebrows to make them because she has very thin eyebrows, but she got it on Groupon, and we all Warner like that doesn't seem like a good idea. Oh, get it didn't go. Well, so it's finally faded away. But basically the person didn't know the f*** they were doing and basically tattooed or eyebrow because it's a tattoo but it's a very the Hannah say it's basically a couple layers. It's not like yeah, exactly. It's not deep. This person clearly went deep. So she's basically the last three years until just recently made a way. She on one of her eyebrows. You can see is like dark blue line like underneath her eyebrow. Yeah. We teased her about it, the whole time. What? You don't f****** by tattoos? Yeah. Yeah. Why? I glanced Lasix didn't take that Gail. Got it from my group. Alright. Yeah, good. Call back Adrian. How was your week? It was good. We had our holiday Monday as well. Well, that's right. Happy in their independence day. Yeah, whatever year this is. I don't know. We my wife and I dropped the dog go off at day care. I did a long weekend out in Providence. So basically walked around and drank an apt and walked around whether it was crappy Saturday but wasn't too bad. Fortunately Dogge was in our cone of shame, and she had that off right before going to daycare. So, there's nothing was anything more. Things are sad and seeing a very normally, like, timid shy, dog with a cone on, and running into stuff and just kind of like, put, why am I hitting the wall? What's going on? So is your dog's name doggo or you just now, her name is Abby. We just want to be clear that. Sorry continue. It's not a bad idea though. And then we have to keep up with the rain. We have a hurricane tropical storm coming up the coast right now. Yeah. Elsa. Which that's some Disney princess. I think. Yes, it's going to be cold, just be careful. Yeah, it is. It's like 14. Centigrade right now after being like hitting the sir days a week before. So yeah. Been a little bit of a culture shock. Yeah, Aftershock. Yeah. When they announced the name of the hurricane, the poor weather guy said, parents, please. No comments, because he knew right away. That's, that's a bad name for it. Oh man. Yeah Elsa. Turk my hands. He's gonna sue for sure though. That is a yeah that's the w****. They're going to sue the Weather Channel Mother Nature. I don't know there. Has there been an overdub yet? Let it rain let. I am sure there's going to be many things that they're gonna Sue Milli. Vanilli. Yeah, before we move on, I just, I just want to acknowledge one of the members of our Twitter, DM group, he just lost his poppers, he goes by the name. Big bomb on, on our in RDM group and is proper is Peyton passed away. So we wanted to just say, we're thinking of him, and we're sorry to hear it. And guys, it's a beautiful. Yeah. He posted a picture of Peyton, beautiful dog. So, logic bomb. Yeah. You know, our condolences, and we're sorry for your loss like about the best Chiropractic poppers here for you. Yeah, cheers. The how embarrassing previously on the last week? You guys talked over my new sound bite? Listen new sound bite. Previously on. Letterkenny last week, we had our In six, egg Hall social, we had a great turnout and a lot of fun with our listeners. And this week we recap and review the first episode of season 7. Crack an egg. Matt have you done your homework? Ah Dead ten. Have you done your homework? I did I have done my homework. Victor. Did you get your homework done? Yeah. IIT just under the wire and Adrian have you done your homework on away? All right. Well, don't bore us get to the chorus. We begin with the cold open which basically, we begin with previously on Letterkenny Montage with which is just a montage of every single fart from every episode dating back to season one, and then we get the on-screen text about the 5,000 people Letterkenny, and we cut to the theme. So this is the shortest cold open ever and stinkiest. Ooh, I am so interesting thing with the cold open is on Hulu. It starts with this is a series for mature audiences viewer, discretion is advised and it just goes into like Two minutes of farts as well. Oh, really, we did believe this season 7. Episode 1 is when they dropped on Hulu. So it's I feel like it's just kind of key. So on the guys going, hey, look a nice Canadian humor and you're just going to watch all of our farts, which to me look like they might have been in chronological order actually. Yeah, I mean, it was pretty good. They were comprehensive list of all the farts, and they may have been in Cana it was a little weird because the order of All everything was different like the whole 5,000 people muttered, Kenny text. Yeah. Usually comes up first and then you get the cold open and then you get the theme this time. We got the, the stinky open, the text, and then the theme. So it was a little, it was a little weird, a little out of sync. Tan you, what did you think? Matt hasn't given his first? Oh, that's right. Matt, what did you think? They just like we're out of chronological order here? Yeah, I am all messed up. Trying to keep it in order. I am not gonna lie. I loved it. So simple and right down your alley, right. But Mr. I love fart jokes, but then you give every fart based episode of compost so well, no, it wasn't even about farts, that was just ridiculous. I can appreciate they did this. Well, they hard, they brought it into a moment, and they made me like I was giggling like an idiot to that whole opening. I like one after another and that's the kind of fart joke I want. And it wasn't long it. They let it go at the end of that literally and I moved on Yeah, they let it go. They moved on, so I thought it was great. It made me laugh. I got to know what happened, the previous Season room. All those memories came back, and I was up to date again because it's been a few weeks and three watches the show, and we kicked off-season 7 in a very gaseous way. The manner I have been manner, they let it go, but they didn't soil the open for you. Okay, Sam. What did you think? I didn't get what was going on. I am like, I didn't know I was going. I am like, okay, previously on Letterkenny, and then they did the 5,000 people, and I am like, what just happened? Is that the cold open or is that previously? So I didn't get that. It was a cold, open it went so fast and then there was all the fart book stuff to a lot of clips from fart book. Then I am like, okay this is a this is going to be an episode. But recapping on farts and then that didn't happen. So I got I was not so impressed confused. Okay, I will agree with you. I mean it was strained again. It was all very strange opened the the everything was out of order and it wasn't a cold open. It was just a previously, it was, you know, lots of shows do this when they're, especially when they're starting a new season, they will do previously on whatever, but that's usually to remind you what happened at the end of last season and that didn't happen. All they did was Mind, you have vile the fart episodes were and so yeah, I mean I didn't, I wasn't either impressed with this cold open. If I can quickly add to the story is saying I did get a little confused, I miss the part where they said previously on and then I heard some fartings, I am like, am I on the wrong episode? So I actually stopped the whole show rewound and then I got all glitchy on me that I had to back out of it. Restart the episode. We all that was the beginning. So, And then I laughed even more because it can few creative which I actually enjoyed so it actually added to my experience. Okay, Victor's, don't shake farc, broker computer. Yeah, Victor's gonna get Whiplash from all the head shaking. He's giving what did you think here? Well first, I knew Matt was going to enjoy it but I wasn't ready for the twist that he actually amused himself with his own flat. Now, I thought the whole thing was quite ridiculous. And I and the so my the problem is both Linda and I sat down with our bowls, she had a bowl of popcorn at a bowl of pasta and pasta Eliza right now? Would be like don't judge, don't judge with her. She and her dehydrated macaroni was dehydrated. So you know, halfway through this, through what you guys are saying, was quick for us, it felt like it lasted a lifetime but I don't know that I can make it through. This is this cold open and I said just, you know, patience. So just, so I don't think that was a very good cold open. It was more kind of we are going to, you know, we didn't really have time to write a cold open. So a tough guy. Can you please slap something together? But, you know, as we will talk about this episode towards the end, this was this segment. The fact that it was all out of sorts felt right with the entire episode, so don't care. But that's all. We won't say anymore about that but yeah, I wasn't laughing as much as Matt was. So this cold open was a shark for you, okay, Adrian. What did you think? I am through with AIDS with me a little bit. I think having that day, having the who open and assuming that, I mean I am sure awesome is yelling at our podcast right now? If I am screwing this up but assuming it's how they launched, as a Who Original Series and then just watching and to like hear all the farts from the previous six seasons, I appreciate it. You know what key. So and find any with that, a fun season 4 was when they launched on Hulu. I am you know what awesome right now is really yelling at and it's so, yeah, we're both wrong. Yes, threatening our lives. And maybe this is when it went into syndication. I mean, I don't know. Yeah. Alright, good. I enjoyed also how they kept some of the little Snippets in there. So like going through fart book and going. Those are cat farts and Glenn with this Valencia and Katie's little line with about is that wasn't very well, brought up to that, you aren't As well brought up too bad. You aren't because I guess in my head I was seeing like the contact that was fitting and with the other episodes, so it's probably appreciating more than the first time of just sitting through and like, oh, it's a minute and 45 seconds of or whatever it was every farc that we ever saw. Have we ever in any show ever, seen a fart Montage, say the South Park movie? All right. Yeah. Way to call my bluff matter. Kenny. Letterkenny debuted. A July 13th, 2018 and Hulu. Yeah. But I don't know what's that? What season that was though? So seasons were on a team. It might have been maybe 17. I don't know. Anyway, yes, right now is a very angry awesome yelling at us right now from her car per usual. Yeah, exactly. So Matt as you were watching the Montage, were you forcibly trying to stop yourself from laughing at the farc book scenes? I didn't even happen. So, As my brain couldn't pick where they were coming from, it was just Victor, it was just a brown. Stroke is just a breadstick. It was a symphony of any of our caches fund. Exactly. Alright, here we go. Coming out of the theme, the Hicks are in the kitchen, Katie mentions that Glenn came by the produce stand. Looking for some azaleas. I got a friend Kayla cells, Azalea's. Westphalia. Azaleas could you a million Azalea? Well, I told him that his Alias grow wild Down by the River. On the Azealia Banks, you do is go down a side road. Get them on the honor System at the end of the laneway, the men and a house. That was a Dutch Napper Iggy. He's got an oh that's right Iggy Azalea's. Yep used to have a shop in St. Jacob's to named it after his son Brendan's. That's right. Brandon Flowers. So production out here. I mean, everyone will you get everyone should probably know Iggy Azalea. She's an Australian rapper as illya Banks, not an American rapper and Brandon Flowers. He's the lead singer of the band, The Killers. So there's a bunch of references there. And can you in case you didn't Notice them. Dairy asks why Glen wanted the flowers Katie says that he has a part-time gig managing the Letterkenny cable, Access TV studio and wanted to do some decorating. So there he wonders. If anyone even uses a stick station anymore, same to remember do to him John O, Adam selves. Our Visions so that was a just a quick reference to the show jonno Vision. So to anyone who is in Canadian and actually too many Canadians probably wouldn't might not know what either ja no vision. Was a talk show that aired on CBC from 96 to 2000. And one can't believe it lasted that long and i cho, yeah, and it was hosted by none other than Jonathan torrents who's the same actor who plays Noah dick. So there you go. That's when I was watching that show. I was thinking to myself, this guy is going to be big time, one day. Yeah, I just thought he was so talented. Why? I love is very talented. Well, the thing is, the thing with torta. Jonathan's torrents, I think I said this, Son on Deans podcast but it's true since Street sense. I have no he's been sense. Yes, been on Canadian television steadily for 30 freaking years and that's impossible. You know, other Canadian celebrity or actor or whatever can say that it was Street sense. Jonno Vision Trailer Park. Boys Letterkenny think he isn't. He on Mister D 2 or something like that, or my it makes a whole bunch of like cameos on thing. He's on everything. And he's been steadily working. So obviously the man's talented. Yeah, so back to the scene here at just when just then Wayne walks in from touring, he's in a foul mood because his touring went long causing him to be late for f****** steak night. Katie suggest that way nuke is steak to reheat it, which draws the ire of both squirrely Dan. Or yeah, it's really done and dairy. Screw then remarks at Gordon, Ramsay would f****** spit. They all agree. The Rams. He's a really good guy, including Wayne. Yeah, but Wayne as he's also a hair guy. What's a hair guy? Oh go there likely a guy who spends too much time on his hair. Oh yeah. Ramses are gone. Look Ramsey, Cooks a great steak. Great coil Susan, what have you? It's like you want to like him and everything but every time you look at them, all you can think about is in be burned into the mirror f****** with his hair to make it stand up like that. He'd be like us. F****** rotten. Pull your finger a grass. You say the first right? People love it. I am s******* myself. You f****** twat. No, I am not here to tell you not to put Ryan's in the f****** french onion soup. You f****** use this pattern. Katie thinks that choosing a hairstyle is complicated? No, it isn't. It isn't you get it wet then you let it dry such a way, an answer Wayne apologizes for being late for supper. He's annoyed because every farmer is calling him up for advice on it or his help on this or that McMurray for example, calls him, not once not twice but Thrice Day. And even though McMurray is a piece of s***, when a friend asks for help, you help him, that gives screw it in and idea. He tells Wayne about Glen looking for flowers to decorate, the cable Access TV studios, square root n suggests that Glenn should start an agricultural Consulting. Show you can devote an hour a week, taking calls and helping people out with their problems. And that will give him the rest of the week, to do his own charin there. He says, they could help him out to Katie wonders. How they'd get the word out? Obviously, they put it on their f****** Facebook and Wayne likes the idea. So, He agrees to do it, seeing to the Hicks are at the cable. Access TV station getting ready for their first show. McMurray is also there, the Hicks are making fun of mcmurray's tight t-shirt. All right let us go on my shirt. These malls, all I am saying I heard you just starting your own agricultural consultant show because they apparently are coal used too much. He say that add some smirk emojis. Well I will have you know that I McMurray in the most In Farmer inside of two townships. And I am going to prove it by starting my own call-in show all times bit tight. Here is maybe just do it after ours. Are you gonna enter Glenn who makes a remark about the set not exactly looking like the dini? Petty show, another reference to long-running daytime Canadian talk show that ran from 89 to 99. Screw it in says well at least it beats the Frank D'Angelo show. So I want to stop here and I want to ask you guys. Does anybody here know who Frank DeAngelis He's the goalie, well, as many things. But does anyone actually know that the story of Frank D'Angelo no? Okay, I do not. So Frank D'Angelo is an interesting guy who's born in Toronto to an Italian immigrant parents. He became an entrepreneur and found it. A very successful business for, with Beverages and canned foods. D'Angelo apple juice was one of the big items you sold to the. So, yeah, he did that commercial, where he's a goal. For Daniel apple juice, right? So this guy also, he founded a brewery and the steel Back Brewery and Hamilton like this guys is very successful businessman. But despite all of his success business success, he really wanted to be an entertainment. And so what he did was he basically started his own production company, and he's produced written, and directed and acted in his own movies. And then, he also hosts his own talk show called brick being frank. He's also produced 15. Teen musical albums, where he's like the singer. So basically this guy does everything, and he it's also one of these things where he's people are kind of afraid of him. So they don't really make fun of him. Like he does his thing for his movies, he stars in them, but he hires like brand name actors because he's got the money to do it. It's crazy. Like look up his IMDb profile. He's got like 12 dozen movies that he's made with him in him and then with all like, these be Hollywood actors or whatever. But still it's incredible. So yeah, yeah, he's an interesting character, so, and he's got this talk show called being frank, which is what they're referring to Frank D'Angelo show. So back to the episode Katie, once again, brings up Jonna Vision but says nothing, nothing can beat that show. And then Glenn, tries to take back control of the production, why you are looking cuter than a little Beaver pop today? Favorite pops called kits. McMurray want. Go back to the green room. So I can let wine here. Get processed through hair Micah ass. I will just text little bits of Rose fats and Contours to my cheekbones and wardrobe already. It back your friend, Dairy showed up in his barn closed and the God made me. But Mary goes off to the green room but before he leaves, he invites to Hicks to hang out after their show to see how a real Pro does a call-in show. When wanders, out loud, how complicated control could be? Wayne says, it isn't complicated at all. People call in with your questions and then you answer them when SK? For help screaming the collars. For nutsacks McMurray takes the opportunity to make fun of Wayne for not respecting his audience and screening his calls. And the control room, Katie is joined by Stuart enrolled. They saw it on Facebook that they were doing the agricultural College Hill, and they wanted to help they suggested hit collodion as a title for the show. When quickly rejects that Katie gets busy taking calls, adding them to the queue, the skids are hanging around, are arguing over. What kind of music they should use for their theme and annoying Kitty? And Glenn is still trying to manage Each one, the camera height. Splat good also adds 10 pounds aren't you? Testing this camera? She's bit of a cow. Grease will get here. No. Okay, I have got a shirtless Mr. MacMurray, in The Green Room who has agreed very generously to let you wear his Mr. Clean style white T-shirt now, may I also recommend that you try on this Mr. Clean style gold hoop earring together. Oh god. Oh, no. This is gonna work for any of it. Okay, I need to go take some stills of Mr. MacMurray, my stay still, but it Moves anyone catch their that? He took a picture of his yeah. Okay it may make preparations for the show continued. The energy in the studio. Gets amped up as they count down to are the Hicks just sit there. Quietly is chaos happens around them. These kids are screaming music selection to each other. In the booth, Katie still taking calls and Glen's running around barking orders and McMurray for some reason to strip down to his tiger briefs looking for his shirt. It's finally time to go on the air. Glen can sit down and then throws it to the Hicks who just continue to sit there quietly, then Glenn, motions them to begin. All right? Like I mean, we can go. All right. It on all the shows called crack an egg and egg spell AG. Yeah. Like agriculture. So I would call the show so excited, call the call-in show. So These can cause in with your questions, and we will help you if we can spot. But before we get started, I just want to thank my sister. Katie here, use all, and she's in a booth in the back there. And, you know, she's going to take your calls, will help us take your calls, so we can help you. So yeah, I just like to thank a few people as well. No, we're starting to do the rest of the thank, you know what? The end of the show. Yeah, probably thanks a bunch of people. At the end of the show that we would just be thanking people who know. Again, I will shovel For some strange reason, when seems bewildered at the Hicks lack of, well, anything to start the show off, and he quickly shakes it off and signals that the Higgs to take a call. Wayne doesn't understand Glenn signal. So he turns to Katie who interrupts the end on the intercom and suggest that they take a call, just then squirrely Dan cell phone rings. This sets Glenn off, and he yells at them to turn off their fudging phones. Then Katie finally takes charge, we have Retina nickel on the line. They're doing really well. What kind of hero I can hear you? That's Kate, you don't need to yell at you can hear you just fine. You still there. Yep. Right on brass key. How are, you know oh, good new not too loud. I hear you're coaching this year as a plan. Where's Baker? Playing look-alike Ripley. Hey, it was after a minute, hold it up. Yeah. Teddy hadn't back up. North or no. No, he will be in Guelph. Briana's, they're so real and therefore help. Yeah, that's cool. What smack doing? That's rubbing now. Is it really? Yeah, hold on. Well, brettski. The show's called crack an egg and I bet you can't. So thanks. You bet. I was coming out just? Well, James aren't going through s***. I will beg khaybar know, your horn. Yeah, my bars. 18 inch. Yeah. Well, how long you had it two seasons where you take some it to get sharpen. Sharpen it myself. You never take it in for that by taking four new channels together, if you texted and you should bring your X2 because I will sharpen that up for 10 bucks. Yeah, nine ten bucks. Yeah, you know like you know non plus tax about not time though. There's a negation on the sinuses you know your box until you get you coming. I am much better in terms of coming and going you know I don't like change so 10 bucks sorry I couldn't get that clip. I know it's long but I had to get that last bit in there. So, I did a, I did a little Twitter stocking. I don't know if anybody knows this, for sure other than awesome. So I think Brett nickel might be somebody that Jared played hockey with. So there's a bright nickel on Twitter that is from Letterkenny Ontario. Oh, and he shared a bunch of stuff to bunch of retweets from the list. You will Cyclones, which is our Junior, B team that makes sense on guessing. Kisos just name-dropping, former front or probably current friends and players I wouldn't be surprised. I looked at Brett, nickel to and I did see a junior player, whatever. So might have been the same guy, but I didn't look too much further into that. So the first call mercifully ends in Glen begs for the next caller, Katie announces, the next caller is Matt Merkley and Wayne acts just as surprised to hear that. He what he wants him to be the first or that he was on the line and, and that call continues in the same manner cut to later in the day. It's now mcmurray's turned to host his show. He's sitting in his chair warming up with his exercises tip of the dong, the teats the tats. So a little bit different from Riley and Jonesy's X vocal exercise when he's finally ready. He demands his first caller after man. Great job, okay. Welcome caller. You have joined a Greek caught first, time. Long time over here. Well, that's just not possible. But still Farm chickens. Chicken breed Bond. A chicken dance by knocking down. I will slap the yellow off of your teeth in your belly. You sombitch. Hang up creature. Next owner. Hell of a show. The query. It's really pulled me out to some dark places along the way. What? Well, you have joined in a Greek. Yeah, I got a question about husbandry. You have come to the right place? Well, we raise animals for meat malc eggs. No, no, I meant you as a husband. Why the f*** would Mrs. MacMurray, marry a piece of Like you, she's 11 out of 10 but that decision downgrades, you're doing even die. You know where you are. You sumbitch, hang up preacher next caller. The calls, get progressively crude and McMurray gets progressively enraged and finally loses. It on there, knocking over his chair and swearing up a storm seeing three back at the go ahead. I was just going to say he got his hands all over again, azaleas? No? Yes, yes. That's right. Glenn's like not the flowers singing Three back at the farm, the Hicks, McMurray Ron and Jonesy. And this kid just sitting around a large bonfire MacMurray, still yelling profanities due to the call-in show Wayne admits that. He's kind of looking forward to his next show. He had a good time, Darian squirrely Dan agree Stewart. Once again, tries to convince Wayne to add some music to the show. Wayne says they're sorted McMurray yells at them to shut the f******, Dairy as Swain if he's enjoying his engagement party. Wayne says it looks more like a Burnt to him, screw it and says they're all the same, they're all there to celebrate his engagement. Wayne says he's there because he's got a big f*** off, stump to burn. Riley takes this opportunity to interject. Well, seeing as marriage is complicated, doesn't it, isn't you decide? You're going to spend the rest of your life with someone and then you do it. What a think he's trying to say is you can only smash one woman for the rest of your life. Parents. The decision to make her his wife's for life. It's a super important concern, bro. Thanks but My question was more along the lines of, could we not try and smash babes that you have already smashed? Because, I mean, we know the khodro he's not your bro. I have. You want to talk code? We know it boys. Yeah. Name, one person, who knows the code better than us there. Go ahead. I will wait, won't you say cold again for like Pearl Jam's? No coats. Attaboy, what's broken? The bro code is you never Smash Bros. Girlfriend, or ex-girlfriend? That's only bro, code ish. And I think that's it. Yeah, that's it. Oh my granny Sun, not make any sense. Rattling Jones, and continue to say that seeing as Wayne is hanging out his skates, up permanently, they were wondering. If they could smash Wayne's ex has, this is when we hear Stewart, admitting he'd smashed tennis after Wayne says, he wouldn't have a chance with tennis world interject saying Wayne hasn't seen stewards dick and Stuart's responds by saying, neither of you. Either way, Wayne says, it's up to tennis Angie or Rosie, just then Gayle joins the party. Artie. She overhears the conversation. She says that just because you're married, doesn't mean you can't smash a whole bunch of people. This gets an agreement from Mr. For McMurray Katie and Marie Fred. Also, joined the party. No, but engagement party. More like a stomper and to meet big brother. We're all here for your engagement. Well, I am here because we got a big f***-off stumper. Oh yeah. You like Peppers. Garlic Lovers like us. Well, let us raise a glass to Marie Fred. And when settling down as they say dropping anchor, without a doubt in it, the lifeboats suction ready and, you know, we're back. Boys, ignoring statistics, you must consummate the marriage. They're here for the engagement party. It's a stumper. You must come to make Merit. Yeah, we covered that. Well, thanks for coming everybody. It's got f****** a, everyone salutes the engaged couple, and then screw the Dan brings out a gas. Can I brought a little bit to aviation fuel The occasion? I am going to be the a shampoo on the c********* times price. Not putting aviation fuel on the couch Surfer. Right now. Let us get f****** Reckless, boys. Put gasoline on a fire. And we Fade to Black. And that's a good. That's when I turned to tangent, she's got the funniest look on her face. So anyway, yeah, I can't wait to hear her views on this, but first, we're gonna remind you guys that the victors MVP game is still on so bad about that. The bag Tonya has already written. Her suggest down, stop playing and let you guys play. So, write your guesses down, matt. Don't be a poopy pants. And Matt, why don't you give us your first impressions? No ratings on this episode. Sewed. Yeah, I liked it. It was fun. So I mean I like I said I laugh my ass off of the opening. I know. It was ridiculous. I can. I will admit that. But it made me laugh. And if it makes me laugh, it's still a win in my heart. So that's okay. There was a lot of good scenes. I would say the, the first little chunk, I didn't love like it was fine, but nothing really got me excited, but when they got into crack an egg, I loved it. I loved everything from the moment I stepped inside the studio through To the fire scene at the end. Because I mean I and I think I may have mentioned it before but I have got a bit of a background in television that I went that way in a career, but I went to school for that. So I have been on set on things and it's it just made me laugh. How out of touch they were with anything related to the television production style? Like a nothing was like, it's like they're like this. You just think what we will sit down. We will take calls, and we're good to go. So, just the constant little Bumps that they're going to do anything from like Glenn waving at them. To get them started like oh we want something like that for me, like they had no idea what was going on, and no one prepped them at all, and they didn't care either. And I love that and it made me laugh so hard. It was the most awkward scene in that whole run there and it just that I love awkward comedy. And I think they did it really well on this one. So that was, that was a real highlight for me watching that all play out. Couple things though. So Glenn, what the hell was he doing leading? This production site? Could that like, I loved it. I do something. You just had a part those. Another part-time job that he had Gaston, has a million men arms. Gotcha. So, then I didn't understand that was explaining the kitchen at the beginning. Katie says, I will Glen's got a part-time job and managing the local cable access. That's why he's looking for flowers, that flew by me. Another question, did they already have the name going in? Just didn't tell anyone because they were spitting out names like hit collodion and I think there's another one but then those soon as they show star like shows called crack an egg. No, yeah. So the other Naeli knew what they were doing, but they didn't reveal it to anybody until the show started, which made me laugh as well. That's right. Yeah, you're right. They put on fat. What do they put on Facebook? Hmm. Like I would have thought they would put that so that I mean these are just random question. Yeah. And then the other one, and I am like, is this just was it a joke or was it played out? So all the calls that We got which were amazing. Were they all Wayne playing a pretending it over? They supposed to be other characters from the town all f****** with McMurray. Yeah I took it that they were other characters in the town but a few of them were voiced by key. So if not all is well they were all voice bike where they are. Yeah, I know the first one for sure was voiced by key, so I did not miss Riley or do nothing while one of them sounded Rich. Couple seemed a little off yeah, but still To me, I don't think that's in Wayne's character. So I think that's just my, that's my point. I am like, it didn't feel his character but I thought they were all key. So, no, well yeah, I was probably all keys, so, but I think it was meant to be other towns. People are f****** with McQueen. Yeah, that's the way I took it anyway, okay. And I don't think they explain it. So I don't think there's a right answer, but just if you want to keep with Wayne's character, I can't see him being that way. No, and that's what's really trim and me, I still loved it, but that's why I am like, it could be interpreted one way or the other and it Definitely confused me for a second because I kept hearing key. So, in all the voices, maybe I am wrong, but that was supposedly wasn't sure see what. Yeah, I am sure he would have been more. Like, he would have been sure he's a genius, spoilers, ha. I kind of thought the first one was Shore Z. The second one was Riley or Jonesy. So, the first one sounded, I mean it sounds a lot like Shores because it was key. So the second one did sound like somebody doing an impression of Riley, right? But I but it wasn't. I don't it wasn't Riley it but I think it might have I am key. So doing an impression of Riley or something, but yeah, we're those all yours. Yeah, that's me. Okay. So Tanya I am really so you guys know that Tonya tries her best to hide her impression of an episode when we watch it together yesterday, for the first time, yesterday was the first time I heard her laugh out loud during something, but also at the end of it, she looked perplexed and look like she really, really wanted to talk about it. I really did and but couldn't so now's your chance. What did you think of this episode? Hell, I am like f***. I am like what? What? Like she was holding in a fight this whole time going on. I don't understand the whole oh my gosh, the whole thing. I am like, okay also this has not. Okay. So the cold open, it has nothing to do with previously on and it's just all fart stuff, and then we're not talking about farts. More. We're talking about the a call. Okay, so then we're in the I call and I love Glenn. Glenn would always hand down. Love that, man. He is hilarious. I loved, I loved Snippets through there, but then we just like all of a sudden just like shifted over to an engagement party, and I am like wait what? And I am like it was never a comp like the whole previously on. Letterkenny should have been about the f****** engagement flashback, and I am like okay, so I am sorry. We're At an engagement party know. And I am like, what? I just, I might as well. Yeah, that just kind of threw me off and when Riley and Jonesy were having the conversation about trying to get with Wayne's, ex has liked it was, it was going over my head because I was like, what am I watching and when did this become an engagement party? And I was like, so for focused on the engagement party and how to stop focusing on the show, had nothing to do with the engagement parting leading Up to it. And then there's just a party. Like, usually they talk about what they're going to do that night. Like if it's a super soft, if they're going to mow Dean's, if there's like a party happening or the bush party, whatever they are always in the kitchen talking about the event. An engagement party is an event, and they were not talking about it. So it was like I just I was very confused and it was done. Well is ha, but you see from the stumper and that Wayne didn't want to make a big deal out of it, right? It's just to him it was just a stump burn so it was more they the rest wanted to celebrate it for me. They ended the show with him in the ring in the back pocket and him like taking his sister you know getting a loan going and get in the ring. It was a big deal. It's not like Wayne didn't Think it was a big deal because it was we were led to believe. This is a big deal. You're right. And you know, I mean, look, Letterkenny doesn't come back with from, from Cliffhangers the way most shows do, like, they bury the lead. It's almost like they closed the loop, at the end of the first episode of the next season. It's feels like that's always how they do it. You know, think back to when he got hit knocked out by Tyson his? Payback to Tyson happened at the end of Episode where he had buds Tyson, think back to. Well, the only time when things get wrapped up right out right away in the first Act was when they had that fight on the res in the bar and Tanis tells him that she took care of the yeah the baby. Other than that they usually wait. Like the usually, the first episode of next season is to set up the rest of the season and not about wrapping up what that Cliffhanger was. It seems to be their Style. Did you have any other know? I was confused. Yeah. I was just like so Wayne not making a big deal that is very much in Wayne. Like he it's not about him, it's about others. If others have asked for help you help them very Community, like him in the election episode. His point was well you go out and just like most people's Lawns that of like doing you know mcmurray's a piece of s*** ads. Right? I just I don't think it's in his character to have an engagement party and look at me like he would rather hang out with her. Friends and furnace Tom? Yeah, yeah. So yeah, I mean look, I don't disagree with you. It was a very weird. It was a strange episode. Did somebody else write this one? You know what? I didn't see who. Yes, who wrote us, who wrote it? This was one of Trevor risks episode. Oh, so he also seemed like the wedding's Different Strokes and Valentine's. Yeah. So, Trevor, Trevor risk is responsible for one of our least favorite episodes on this on our podcast, which is different. Folks it's the I think the lowest rated episode but also responsible for we don't fight at weddings and balanced Valentine's which were two of the better ones as well. So yeah. So that might account for the still say Different Strokes is brilliant in its own way. Victor disagree, so our know this from is a very strange episode tonally and made me not totally actually I think he was just kind of weird how I agree with you. Tell me it jerked around, like we start in the kitchen that They set up no problem, they set up. The reason for the talk show the cable access show, and then they go into the cable access show. But after that cable access show. Yeah. Going to that bonfire scene, did seem kind of weird. It felt like two different shows. It did they just mush them into. And let me tell you that day that they shot that some burn must have been. So like they must have been desperate in our gold because it looked like they were freezing and it didn't look like a great day. It looks. If they could have probably rescheduled that shoot, they might have. But anyway, although it is the perfect kind of weather to have a stump burn I am going to what I am willing to agree with Matt though the writing and acting in crack, an egg was so good. I know that like, joke wise. It wasn't fun, it didn't have a lot of funny jokes, but it was a funny situation. I just love how they're it's a show. So there needs to be a little bit more projection, a little bit more energy, A little bit more Pizzazz because it's a show. But instead they're treating the collars, Like they just walked up to them at the produce stand. Yeah. And the way they talk to the caller and to each other it's like they're having this chat. Like there's no audience around which is hilarious and it was so brilliantly done so that part there. I thought was written really well and active now. Yeah and acted really well. I thought they did a lot of really good. Like a lot of the stuff was under their breath and my favorite part is when they talk about oh yeah ten bucks. Yeah. That's how they get you. Like the they put 99 dollars. Plus tax on the sign, but like that whole thing. And I don't, I have heard that conversation happening in my home town like a billion times. It was so brilliantly, written and acted. It was a lot of fun. So the, the burn that like the engagement party after was kind of weird. Totally. But you know, par for the course, I think Adrian's, right? Not out of character for Wayne and Very in character for rally and Jonesy to not even care about the engagement. Although all they care about is whether they're going to be able to try to smash Angie and Rosie. So I like that part. It was, it was fine. Victor. Would you think I would like to see him try to smash canisters? That would be no. Madame would be hilarious. Well, if you think about that, I mean, Stewart must be a glutton for punishment because I am pretty sure the last time he antanas had any exchange was when she and if season 1, when she had horse trip like destroyed him verbally in that and that scene and that made him hot and bothered for her. So Victor, what do you think? I think Trevor want them to stupor the night before he wrote that upset, so a little background Trevor risk. He is a DJ. So I think he probably put a lot of effort and work and pride in the skids exchange, which I didn't even clip any of those clubs. Because most of that s*** went over my head. Yeah, yeah, I you know if you segment first, I mean there's absolutely no continuity. Your flow to the episode. I think that and that's not necessarily the fault of the writing, it's the way that it was edited like it just yeah. I don't, I don't feel that there's a lot of stuff that gets cut. I think there's probably they may have done more filming than what we saw, and they have, and they maybe they chose to edit it in a way. And the reason I say that is just because of the abrupt jumps from one scene to the next one of the most abrupt ones that felt like even more Weird than going to the bonfire at the end. From the studio was going from the Hicks to McMurray 02 his shot. Yeah, those are good. Yeah, that was. That was completely just what. Wait, what just happened. Oh, is he on their show? And no, that's all K. That's his show. And so for me, you know, I know you call out that segment as probably the highlight of the episode and an absolutely it is, you know, And just like, Matt, I, you know, I went to college for this stuff, I lived and breathed that I took was the first time we went to do that stuff. Nobody knew what the hell, anybody was doing right? You know, the boom mic was too low or the lights were causing the wrong Shadows. People were getting the wrong cues, you bring in actors who didn't know what the hell they were doing and you're supposed to, you know, do exactly how what you're thinking, and they're not doing it and you're getting frustrated. So like all of that stuff it just you know, felt so Connected and it was brilliant. I loved it. It was so awkwardly. Awesome. Yeah. But and you guys talked about it, when they switch to the McMurray piece, I did not like it at all. And really, I didn't like it as exactly for the, for the reasons you called out. It is totally not in kisos or sorry Wayne's character to be that way? And that's very first caller. He was that voice was almost exactly like Wayne almost exactly like And I am thinking wait a second and because of that it just it you stop enjoying the show and it breaks the flow where you're thinking wait, is that Wayne pranking him? You have Wayne wouldn't do that and the other it was so crude. It was just so. So crude like it wasn't funny. It was, you know it's funny when sure Shores he's doing because you right you know what your Z that's his character and you know that's just what it is. But yeah, here like wait is this way? Wayne or is this, somebody else on, who is it? And why are they being so mean to? Yeah. But okay, so, but I don't think it was meant to be Wayne. So yeah. The fault of the Producers they may be could have gotten different voices to make the calls. No. But you're giving me your opinion. Like, you don't know that? I am pretty sure, I am pretty sure. Anyway. But besides that I think the reason it was so crude though was to make it funnier. The fact that McMurray laughed at Wayne for not pre-screening his collars. Down. And I get that 100%. All right, so that's why it was crude though, that's my point. But that's the so the fact that they had that conversation passionate know the fact that they had that conversation with Wayne. Yeah. And the people in that studio nobody outside that studio was part of that. So just the coincidence that there's such piece of s*** out there that they were just ready and Honker queuing up. Did you call and then Are not pieces of s*** mcmurray's, the piece of s*** and everyone wanted a crack at McMurray those things? Yeah, yeah, the whole town. No, no, no. But when you bring yourself down to their level then you're a piece of s*** too. Well, I am saying all I am saying, I didn't like it. I don't like it was too crude. I felt bad for McMurray. I didn't like it but the thing that I don't like more was I was wondering is it because there's somebody in the studio was Wayne will have to be Wayne that. I am going to show that McMurray, he's not pre screening his calls and because the voice was so much like Wayne. That's I felt like way that does not make sense to me. Wayne wouldn't do that, but he's the one in the studio that saw McMurray being all that. I don't need to pre-screen. My calls. Yeah that I issue without whole piece. I don't believe it was Wayne. But okay I mean by that but anyway and then you now, and then they cook they finish with the whole feel good thing with the bonfire, I don't have any issue like Tanya. They do about the that, you know, they didn't make a big deal about the engagement or this my bigger issue, was that what the hell is with the editing here? There's no continuity. There isn't like a thread that connects the scenes together and so for me it's like, is this a? It's almost like a, like a special episode with disturbing yet? Yeah. And yeah, I don't know, I think living with parts but I think Tanya the mama bear came out to when the gas can came out. She was What's going on with the guys? Can? Yeah. Like Adrian. What are your first impressions? It was an honor to witness of Victor rant and Rave right there. Absolutely, Joy. See, I was just pouring aviation fuel on Victor. See what you did there. This episode Drew on me after a few watches. It was interesting after the previously on, and then they go under the name. Referring to me almost Melt more, how they would typically do a cold open with the Iggy Azalea's and Brandon are right? That kitchen scene. Felt more like a cold oven. Yeah, I have an interesting tie in with the my buddy. Brian, the small town. I grew up in Houston of work for a cable-access show, and he would be like the one person in the studio, when the three retirees are doing like, bingo at, you know, 10:30 on a Tuesday night, and would just show us these horrible clips that he make us re-watch again. And again, We're like a light when would fall over like one of the balls didn't come up, right? And the guys will be like a got all that Brian. Oh man. And then he continued that on to his career. So we started shooting a basketball games, and he's probably in his mid-30s and stocky going bald. And they're like all the like, all the freshmen will be swooning over and so, apparently, if you want to pick up, you know, high school or college chicks, just start shooting the basketball game since say that. That interesting. Interesting s***. I yeah it grew on me. The Glen just, I don't know. It seems like when was almost trying to get make waiting to dress up one like McMurray and then was hitting on Wayne as McMurray which seemed like a very interesting Dynamic without a pusher on because the Plaid Blends and I will put this little like Mr. Cui tearing, and that's what a thing for Mr. Clean. I think he's just trying to get Wayne out of his clothes. He didn't care what he put back on. I mean, he succeeded with McMurray. That was hilarious, unlike murica and I like the stumper and it might have been growing up in rural Nova Scotia, and we had our summer place or it's just like a bunch of kids between like 10 and 12. So we have nothing else to do. So just all one evening, figured out that bug spray is flammable. So we started spraying the plug flow. Say it, but plug spray into a citronella candle. We found out the next day, at, on my sister's copy of the Foo Fighters color and the shape was on the other side. So it was getting all this flashback out of burnt and covered in stickiness. So I think I had to buy her a new CDF about one, but it was a it had ups and downs it. I agree that there are a lot of really hard cuts and it was hard to follow. For sure, very good. All right, let us move on to ratings for the Episode, Matt, we're starting with you. What do you give this episode? So I will leave my rating and I will talk to. So, it's a fresh. It's not a high fresh, but it's a fresh. I really enjoyed it. I can all the things that you guys are saying, that pissed you off, or none of his you didn't necessarily. Like, I actually thought we were, okay, I get the hard cuts, the cut between crack an egg, and what did he call it, Edgar Occult agricultural sector calls, that was pretty harsh. But again the whole awkwardness of that scene and the dryness of their show, it almost fit in a weird way. So I actually was okay with it and then yes I think there was a production issue, they shouldn't have used Wayne's, our kisos voice to do those because I think it tripped us all out, what we will probably never know the truth on. Whether that was Wayne, I don't think making the educated guess. Based on the character and stuff that it wasn't, it does, it wasn't feeling character but in because he was so prominent as cracking agonal, and he's prominent all them. It just it, I thought it was a, it was a bit of a mess but either way, I thought the jokes were hilarious. I thought it was great, you know? And I am with you I will we talk when Victor was going on his rant that the whole town knows that mcmurray's piece of s***. So anyone who got a, even a hint that McMurray might be on TV live. I have taking calls. Yeah, absolutely surprised at all. He was getting s*** so I am okay with that. And then, yeah, the flow is a, I don't know, it wasn't all over the place. It was the cold open was not a cold open, but it made me laugh. The opening scene totally led into the whole main part of the episode which made sense. And then, yeah, they jump to this buyer. Seeing the stumper and at the end and brought back the ending and set up probably was coming to be in the next few episodes. Deanna's, oh, episode, they're short episode. You can only get so much in there that, and I was okay with it. So in the end, it was great. We got to see all our characters again. Gaylor was their rally and Jonesy it was just, it was fun to see them all back. There was some good banter, some really smart writing. No, I thought it was a solid episode and even though there was some obvious gaps and cut. I am okay with it. I liked it. All right, fresh 10. It's not a fresh. Okay. Well, then we had some other options. It was not a fresh. No, no, I don't see it that way. Like it was like Victor saying like it was so jumpy and I just I found it hard to track because it was just so jumpy. What one jump or two jumps three scenes in the entire episode. There were three scenes. Yeah, so I know, but they're completely separate scenes from 100 to the scenes, were directly connected. Yeah. It's just that third scene, was kind of weird. Math. Math. Topics in the kitchen. Yeah, when you're wrong I have to call you one intro, the cold open had nothing to do with anything, then the kitchen scene and the Egg Hall, find that's two. And then your last scene for the engagement party. Those three things did not have anything to do with each other. It's very common for the cold open and not having to do with. Yeah. That's not something they true. I can I don't count that as part of but usually it's do they not like call back to it like even when they were talking about the stupid ants see doing it called back to it at the end and the an X they do, and they call in the callbacks? Yeah. By the way on the Letterkenny Reddit somebody actually posted a massive ankle and Note and Ankle calf. Tattoo of an ant on a Seadoo and it looks amazing. It looks amazing. So yes, some people like that scene. Enough to have it tattooed on their leg. Oh my God. Love it. Or hate. It is brilliant writing. Like it was just a great sting II. Get what Matt's saying about the whole TV studio and stuff. And what Adrian saying? I get it and I appreciate that part of it. And if I look at them as individuals, yes they had. They had some good parts to it, but I just I kept on losing me like unless I watched it five times like you guys did my first shot at this. I am like it's a compost and like we haven't convinced you otherwise it's still composted. Now I liked someone that is re is Matt Frozen. No, he's just sitting there with a bewildered look on his face. You actually look Frozen for a second there. I didn't see that coming. So I am hoping she's about to correct herself. Ha, ha. I am telling you, I was like, I don't know. II was so bewildered. I really was. Alan, will tell you the look on her face was, it's like, he really wanted to talk about it last night, even really? Yeah. I was like, I just what the hell did we just watch? Like, what happened. What just happened? So, again, if I watched it five times, I would probably throw it in Clarence. It wouldn't be a fresh. It had great moment. Had some good moments. Moments but not good enough in order to pull it up. So sorry, consoles, Canadian I am sorry. Composting. All right. All right, no problem. Okay, I am going to give this one a clearance. I am giving this one a clearance and it's, it's a right down the middle, the scenes and the cable access remind me a lot of (Bob) and Doug McKenzie like that kind of show. It reminded me, put me something. Can you say that then? Clearance. But hold on. Okay, like take off. Hey, okay, I am gonna add is can all riled up and talk about the things you talk about things, I enjoyed. So yeah, remind me a lot about Bob and Doug McKenzie. If you pay attention during crack, an egg, when, when they're talking watched squirrely Dan, he's hilarious because he's looking around, like, where's that voice coming from? Like he just he looks amazing. It's, it's so funny. Yeah. If you just pay attention to screw down during that whole Seen so-and-so's on the air, he is. And then the voice comes up, and he starts like looking around. Where's that coming from? So funny, I think I am going to put up a poll, I won't call it a 10-year pole, but I would like to hear from our listeners who think that the caller on the McMurray show was Wayne breaking mcmurray's balls or who thinks it was. It was actually other towns people because I think that does have a bearing on your enjoyment of this episode because if you did think it was Wayne it's obviously out of And kind of broaden of him to do, but I personally didn't think it was Wayne the so the other thing that kind of was a waste in this episode personally and I hate to say this because I generally like the skids but the skids were just useless in this hold up the only function they served was to amp up the chaos leading up to the when they went on the air like that's all they were there for it to be that one to annoy me. Bring Your Kids To Work Day, and they're just trying to push buttons. Yeah. Yeah, it was just, yeah. So I feel like wiping her arms off and hitting honor. That's right. Yeah, I caught that to those hilarious, but it's like, well, I didn't understand any of it. And, and unfortunately, I feel like, because Trevor risk is a DJ and stuff. He probably takes great pride in the stuff that he wrote for them, but to me, it was completely wasted. I didn't, it didn't add anything. I mean, they could have been chattering about anything and it would have been the same. But anyway, to me, they were kind of just window, dressing, Glenn was awesome. As usual McMurray, I thought was pretty funny too. So to me like it's just kind of uneven episode and because of that, I can't give it a fresh. I mean that scene alone is I thought was brilliantly written and acted. But on this, on the strength of that scene alone, I can't give it the whole episode of fresh. I am going to Get a clearance Victor. What? Certainly not a fresh. So I have been teetering between clearance and compost and I will let you know where I landed please, please, we look forward to it. So, you know, first of all, the cold open, my issue with it is not that it was a good cold open or a bad cold open. There was no cold oppressed they rehashed, you know, it was, it was like a montage. You know, just to a hockey game, you're about to see, and they're going to show you highlights from previous games, you know, it just it didn't take any creativity or writing it, you know, it's like, oh hey editor since you're already editing stuff, can you, you know, do that for us? So I thought that's like and you know, it's whatever percentage of the episode, it is that right there already knocks off some points. The fact that they didn't have really a creative element there. Yeah. And a short episode 2, so Oh yeah, yeah, well yes. So from either Short episode didn't feel short. It did not feel like a short episode, so I didn't even catch that. It was short, it felt like a regular those 20 minutes long. I mean there it was an average length Epicure guess here anyway so great. So that part's over the kitchen scene because the guy your typical fare. I thought the initial dialogue was just a little to force that they do that anyway, but it was just like okay pitter-patter and you know, at least they set up the whole team. The studio seen that they're going to go they're G e-- stuff was kind of fun. I did like the Gordon Ramsay stuff. I thought that was good. You know hearing squirrely Zan speaking in a British accent. That's brilliant. Always make that everything in the monkey hair thing. Yes, that was amazing. Yeah, that was. That was incredible. So he's so yeah. That was great, and then we get to the studio to highlight again. We have all talked about it is brilliant. Yeah. Squirrely looking around. Where the hell is God coming from a guy? I love you. It's just, it's brilliant, my problem with that vignette is that then yet as tainted was the whole McMurray scene, and it almost doesn't matter whether it was Wayne or not Wayne because even if it wasn't Wayne, I still think it was just too crude it made. What was just total hilarity and laughter to just this, you know. Okay, well yeah, he's a piece of s*** but, you know, it's still like really mean. I didn't like it and, and, and then just the Irish added to the, to the final scene where finally, there's actual stuff happening, like, meaningful stuff happening to the storylines, and to the characters and stuff like that, but then own. Yeah, and backed, by the way, back to the studio, the whole stuff with the skids, that was a throwaway. So, I agree that back to the bonfire, I felt like, yeah, that was good and whatnot. I wasn't. I am again, this is like maybe this is because I am whatever an old fart now. Whatever. But when Jonesy and Riley were talking about smashing it, so I don't know. Like to me, it's just they're just okay with oh how you smashed and smash because they're Bros though. That's the but it's like you know we will talk about smart writing for me. That part is not. That's the just a little bit. You know, that's not smart, it's just they're so. So but like I am not, you know, offended by it or anything of that. It was just Much too much focus on the Smashing. This, if you're going to do the Smashing like there should be, like a very small percentage of it and then move on to some other smart dialogue. And I thought there was a little too much Center on that. It's a short scene anyway, but yeah, you know, like, I just felt like maybe take about 10% off of that one, and we will be okay. So anyway. So I would the end because this is the first episode, this is the, this is again, I have to set the bar a little high Higher for the, you know, game opener the season opener. I mean and I feel like they just did not bring it. They did not bring it to started from the very beginning with not giving us a real cold open. So I have to set the bar at a place where they can only go up, so I have to give it accomplished. Oh, really? Yeah, I really thought you were going to at least come out to a clearance because, I mean, can do it, can't do it. All right, maybe. My steps, watch rumor. I watch this episode today. I am still hot and bothered by it. So this is so what this tells me is that it does not make the first watch through is not a great impression. Maybe by the fifth one, I am kind of settle down a little more and I, whatever a little less prudish and whatnot and I can enjoy it more. But the first impression just, you know, half a half hour removed, what is? I expected more, I expected better. Hmm, all right, Adrian First time I went through it, I definitely get where Tanya and Victor are coming from its it was rough. It seemed like that middle seen just dragged on and a lot of like awkward cuts and I found the skids a little off-putting. The first time I went through it, the more I watched it just Alex, you were saying really was appreciating when Kate rub was doing was for a lead and there with like the little like McCain Gordon Ramsay. What the Babu? We're just kind of like looking around and then like under his breath, do you Google? I don't carry change. So it's 10 bucks. Yeah. It's been nine and ten back and forth. I also found like the Gwen McMurray and Wayne back and forth and very interesting where either McMurray wasn't aware of Gwen's advances, or he's like, taken more of a step back on his like homophobic, Tendencies, because in the past, is very clear. Like, well, I am not one of Love you. Yeah, I understand you and here is just kind of like either completely oblivious which I find hard to get think he's, I think he's just vain enough that if some other man offers to take pictures of him, he will pose. I think, I think that's all it was. We didn't talk about his Speedos by the way, the leopard cheetah leopard or tiger, tiger, print, you gotta have a lot of confidence in her to come into a room with wearing. That is a very Man, remember his. I think that was the same Speedo he wore at the party with him and Mrs. MacMurray, that the hot tub party. Right? So the Coughlin yeah, but it grew on me. The more, the more that I watched it. So I am giving it a solid clearance after going through. I just the end felt very heartwarming. It's I always love to see where there's everybody together. You saw a good relationship, dynamic between Main and Wayne and Marie Fred. There's a little I am cock in there. Yeah, but yeah, the opening was unnecessary. I found the Iggy Azalea Scott a little tiring. But I mean they Glenn was fantastic and I really I thought these kids have some really great little gags like them walking in. They think we being the train with roll kind of like there were a lot of like good as a welcome bonus. There was some cute stuff in there. A lot of it I just went over my head and I chopped it up as a, it's going over my head because I don't get that. Clearance. Okay, we will move on to top fives. I am feel like this will be pretty quick. Matt does this make your top five? I know, it doesn't know. Tammy doesn't know. No it doesn't make mine either Victor and no sir, no Adrian. I can't remember if you have shared your top five episodes before or not. But yeah, I do. I have a little update. Oh yeah. Okay, go for it since I missed. I missed dick slip out, so I am keeping relationships and possibly golf course one and two dicks is going and three. And then talent show, and we don't fight it weddings and I just had to see the holiday episodes as their own thing, like they don't really fit in with the story. I mean, I love all of them. I think there's some of the best episodes. I just like to keep them carpet compartmentalised. Sure. Your top five. So you do what you want with them. Great. All right, let us move on to the postage dot store, MVP, Matt. Who is your MVP for this episode? A lot of time. I am a little heartbroken on this home. You guys, you guys realize I, I really enjoyed it. I am feeling like an island here and you have your own sandbox. The f*** am I ever? Yeah, we're you're on an island surrounded by compost here. Barely but litter box, I will get to my MVP, and I am taking a bit of a page here on Victor's thinking but I think my makes sense because I am giving my MVP to crack an egg. And what I mean by that, I mean the whole scene from the moment, they turned on the cameras to when they cut over to McMurray that whole scene between Glen, trying to get these idiots to talk to Katie, directing calls and push in the Ford. And then Glenn, Dairy and Wayne interacting with their conversations. I thought One of the best that honestly, it was one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. I thought it was so well done, so well act, and so, but just delivered with such Brilliance. I am like I loved it and that's really what drove my fresh today. Was that whole scene? Because the I love awkward comedy and that was it at its Max? Yeah. And was a significant scene like in a or short ish episode, it was a pretty long seen so absolutely sewed. Yeah, yeah. So that's my MVP. Is that is crack an egg? Fair enough. You're welcome. Crack an egg, are you tenía hands down? Always Glenn. Glenn telling you that man. Cracks me up. Oh my God, his deliveries his mannerisms. How he's always like trying to get at Wayne and just I just love. I love how he delivers things, he's just hilarious. Okay. And the fact that he has a part-time job, we have to list, all of Glenn's part-time jobs. He's a waitress, he's a Denis, working at ice cream, ice cream, stand. Teacher parking lot, preacher by the tenderize. And now the studio Kinder cable access Studio manager. I am sure there will be others. Yeah. Okay, my MVP, I am going to give it to a couple. I am going to give it to wane and squirrely Dan. I thought the scenes with the two of them, especially during crack an egg. I mean Dairy had very little to do. During those scenes, it was Wayne and squirrely down that they Sean in those scenes, just the ease and in their dialogue. You, it, you believe that they were just kind of chatting with each other and yeah. And, and just and reacting to each other and stuff. It was there, it was really well done. Plus rewind to the gourd Ramsay part also, very funny. So I am going to give it to. It's a tie between Wayne and squirted in Victor. Are we ready for me to reveal my MVP? Yes, Victor go ahead. This is your moment, your moment to shine your moment in the sun. Okay, well I mean this was a tricky one because there wasn't because the episode was so fragmented, still wasn't kind of one character that kind of LED from beginning to end as a star. So don't say the star matters to you don't say the stump, if you say the stump. So help me God? No, no sock amazing soil. Like that and so for me I am guys do those changes guess? Sorry. No, go ahead. If it was going to be this stuff. So, so for me, you know, I have to give it to the aspect that made, you know, made the biggest impression on me and for me, you know, the camera may not agree with plans but I do if you look at the, if you look at the final scene, Seen, But when there's, they're all that, there's a lot of plaid. There's a lot of plaid and it was to the point that it was distracting, but in a nice way and it is, that looked amazing. Yeah. Yeah. It was. Everything was pie. Even the chairs replied. Everything was plaid. So, I, my MVP is plaid. Well, what do you know why? There you see why I tried to stop this game ever stopping it games over. It's just like Spaceballs. They have gone to the gun closed. But to say that great. Yes, excellent. Excellent reference plaid. All right, Matt. What did I was? I would say I was I am gonna guess I was the clothes. You know, what was your guess? I did choose to clothe, I thought it was either McMurray speed up for his Speedo. All right? Wow, yeah, that's see. You know, you're just foul. Wow, you had the stump. Add the stumped, or the gasoline on the fire. That the whole showed that I haven't learned my lesson. Yet, I went with something, a little more standard. I went with Glenn. I thought maybe Victor would have, you know, started this season off with something, you know, like that? That made person a person. Yeah, no, no. If the episode brings it, I will bring it equally but Glenn, Glenn was great. He wasn't a standout. Okay. We have to like set ground rules hat, like a boundary, and we have to say, it has, it has to be a person like, you can't MVP. Well, I mean, Matt, just MVP knocking on your neck like an actual senior. Just wardrobe is no. Do you know how much time and effort goes into words? Witnessing a Victor Matt argument as well. First is the is a Victor Ranch announcement future episode? You're like I just need something else and I agree I did recognize there was a ton of plaid and I appreciate all right. It's not an MVP Adrian. Why don't we start with whom? You what you thought at Victor's? MVP was before giving yours. What did you think? Kenny, and I are on the same wavelength, because I was thinking I had, and I have it written down. It's either the stomper the aviation field. All right. Okay, sure. All right. Well, who is your MVP gives like bring some common sense back here. What's that? I want to with Gladys 10K. Anything you can't. Do you swing by scream creature and Jake just has such? Hello. Various strange. Like he's just all over the map and just it's from everything we have heard like (maybe) than other than Lisa. Like he's probably the least, like his character in real life. So that's just got to be amazing to watch that turn on. That's great. All right onto news. So I mean the only bit of news I have here and I mean they won't be new news to most people but two weeks or two days ago, we had Alex McCool Leon, and we had a great time interviewing him, and he was gracious with his time but also stories A great interview like laid-back right from the beginning, you know, and Victor did manage to not insult his hockey team or any. But Matt's like this from Montreal, it's been really rough. And no, he was, he was a great and it was in contact with him today. Sent him a t-shirt. He's very, very happy said he will wear it with pride, so looking forward to that, the episode is available only to patrons right now. But by next Tuesday, it will be on the live feed. So look out for that one. And then I Yes, Matt, I have updated the vision board to include him. I will post it when the interview is posted as well. So let us just move on to some final thoughts here. Matt, what are your final thoughts? I mean I was I don't watch this week, I am a little disheartened. I mean, I made that obvious already. I thought I would at least have maybe Adrian aligned with me. I knew Victor and tan. You're going to be a long shot. Al I thought you might be close. I was, I am that was close. You're a close. A strong scene. But Just once I could just, I respected the artistic Vision in this one maybe and is what it was. I don't know. But now I am looking forward to the season I and honestly, I don't remember anything it. Like, I know I watched this season but it's been so long. It's all like brand-new to me again because I haven't seen in so long. So I am really looking forward. What's to come to see where the story goes again? Continue our constant arguments, Victor these are very pleasurable and I enjoy them. So let us continue to debate. Eight. And yeah, you know, Adrienne is always, it's such a pleasure to see you my friend so glad you can make it and I can't wait to see you again. Like I can't look. I am looking forward to having you back, it's always fun. Awesome. Yeah, Adrian, I absolutely love your Insight, I love your notes. I love you. You actually do make me pause and think and look at the scenes in a different way and you almost had me, you honestly almost had me up to a clearance. Your point, some notes from Steven Died your point about Wayne. Just wouldn't celebrate his engagement party that way I think is a valid point but it yeah that yeah well we won't go there but anyway I think you bring up some good points. You make me stop and think so. So, thank you for that and Victor game is over. I don't like the game. The game is not fun and, and you got it. Either have boundary unwinnable. You either have to have boundaries or yeah, it does to game games done and those are my point. She created a chicken, take it away. Yeah. Right and I say that begat foots down. Hmm. All right we will talk about we did the Twitter poll thing. Yeah they all said that they wanted to keep it. Yeah it's not actually scientifically. Like torturing us, I think people can make fake accounts like Massachusetts. Massachusetts whoo-hoo, once your birth, the baby can no longer aborted. Oh my, oh my God, baby. All right, moving on and that. All right, dude. Hey, Jin is great to have you back on bud? Dude, I can't wait to hang out in person. Oh yeah, we gotta do. Oh, by the way. Next week's episode will Mark our 100 or 1 year anniversary. So will. I don't know, is an order. We really need to get together on the patio somewhere, and we will do that. But anyway, next, you next week one year, I don't know me. I feel like we should do something special for that. So let us uh let us brainstorm that one, Adrian. Like I said, thank you for coming up. Great to see you and happy belated Independence. Day there. This episode. I mean, I am looking forward to this season like it. We, you know, we with the recap episode, the egg Hall and stuff. It's good to be back to the recap episodes and working on new season, so I am looking forward to it and it can, I mean Victor's right? You know, it can only get better from here, you would hope. And I don't remember much from this season either except that I know that. There's more crack an egg coming. So there's that but that's all I can remember from the season, so I am looking forward to what comes next. Victor Adrian. You're a scholar and a gentleman. Thank you for coming prepared with your notes. You make us look like a bunch of amateurs, but, but that's okay, that's what we appreciate about you and, and, and you bring it each time. So, so that's, that's really awesome. In terms of the Season, all you have to do is look back to the previous, Season. It did not start out well but it gave us. What I feel is probably the best episode of the series so far. So what the thick slip, I would? So I have nothing but good thoughts and feelings about this season as well, that we're going to get probably a few gems as we always do. So, yeah, it can only get better from here. So, hoping for a, for a better episode next week and more kind of fun and adventure, with the gang. So yeah and Adrian always a pleasure to talk to you guys even whether some or Twitter group or in person online, it's just very fun to see the dynamic. It's just so just that sign of respect that you can be at each other's throats 11 died and one minute. And then the next minute that's going, I love you Victor. So it's always nice to see you. That Canadian respect that's always in there and it's just it's congratulations on one year. It's just been such a fun Discovery and watching you guys go down this journey on the first couple episodes where it just like such a rift and I don't think we will ever get into it. And now you know that the two were that were a little slow to jump on board or is like, okay, this isn't up to the normal quality. Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I guess that's a good show but it's Not a good Letterkenny show. And it's just, yeah, it's been a really fun ride and a great. Great. Great. Listen. All right, that's a really cool community that we have going on agreed. Okay. I am playing us off here with a song from this episode called Vu by Master crafter Mr. Crow, there's no, there are no vowels in this. So I am going to say Mastercraft. Here we go. Technol. That's all we have for this episode. Next week, we welcome our buddy Chad back to the produce. Stand to help us review and recap episode 2 of season seven red card. Yellow card.
