I am up in school, so I am in the kitchen area. Okay. At Conestoga College, Retaking their yes. So I am doing my cabinet. Making Apprentice very good. It's nice. And so the reason I mean I know who you are or who your aunt is, I mean We know we kind of know each other but you were very young last time. I saw you in person but your aunt and I went to school since 6th grade in throughout high school we graduated together middle, and she doesn't listen to this, but she said she will listen to this because you're on so imma know. So let us talk about Letterkenny, where did you discover? Let it or where and when did you discover Letterkenny? So it was pretty early in the pandemic. And I had first gone back to work because I was working at the outlet mall. So we were open at a very limited capacity, so there really wasn't anything to do, right and door. And one of the guys that I used to work with their really love the show, and I heard about it through different leave seen videos on the side, whatever. Right. And I never got into it until we started watching it on our on the clock. I work right as one does. Yeah. That was this. It was this that to cook sound outlet mall. It was nice. Yeah. So we're right, when we first reopened started watching it, and then he let me use his crave account and basically, just binged it good and over. Nice. So, and when did you discover our podcast? So it wasn't too long. Before I had originally messaged you on Twitter, which one can A exactly when that was it was July of last year. So I would found it early in July after scrolling through Tick-Tock and finding the actor plays his role is doing a live on Tick-Tock, whatever. Write something that's becoming Stern. Yeah but aren't any podcast? Yeah Mr. And somebody asked a question about Letterkenny podcast, and he had right off. Her name's this one. Being one of them really so a couple. Yeah. So a couple days later while I was at work, trying to have been Disturbed. That rhymed us off. So he's aware of us. That's great. So, he's actually, he's actually ignoring us then because I have reached out a bunch of times and it isn't because he doesn't know us or is aware of us. He's aware of us, but he's just ignoring that's how he knows us. Yes, I am annoying abide by you annoy. Huh? That's amazing. When did you do the math or did we just do the math together to figure out? We knew Other. I can't remember. Now. How that went? I think it's when I messaged you on Twitter task about the DM group. Oh, okay. Because then I went. I saw your Twitter account that I realized the band, and I was like, oh, that sounds very familiar. Then went through and found it that I didn't know you guys. That's right now, you have seen the Royal Pains perform. I have seen the Royal who introduced the Royal Pains. Yeah, that's amazing. Yeah. And then I called my aunt after realizing who I have been listening to for the past few weeks. Yeah the rest is history. I saw world. That's nice. All right, here we go. How are you know? Tonight's lineup is going to be Victor tang and Matt myself and then our guest Jake is going to have the last word Victor? How's your week? Sure. Yeah. Weeks is tiring these days, but You know, I have been watching the Olympics so that's fun. Watching the our Russian friends, finding new ways to get around ways. I think they're gonna have to start may be competing under the Ukrainian flag now because you know, they can't, they can't compete at under the Russian flag, they can compete under, maybe that's why they're trying to occupy the Ukraine so that they can because, yeah, they're running out of options. So, anyway, got on them. Really well. Yeah, I mean would be Mighty convenient for that. Good on them. Hey, what you got to do, you know what, like, Hey, You Gotta Give It to the Russians and the Germans because they, I mean, they were very Progressive. They were, you know, doing this whole gender. I know where you're going, don't go, don't just don't, don't you know, drop. Drop the bombs and then walk away. Like ice one. Damn good sometimes. But anyways, Yeah. So you know, just enjoying the Olympics and during the hockey, the men started playing. I think this morning I they beat the Germans 521 and, and then tomorrow night, they're playing the American some looking for whatever our eastern time. All right. Everybody settle down. So you. So I am looking forward to that. We will see. I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I am just enjoying the Olympics right now. I haven't seen one second of coverage but I did see that Hudson Bay won a medal. The other day, so it was that it's Mark. McMorris isn't my room Morris? Yeah. When bronze and the snowboard. Yeah, and I got excited when he won that even those bronze because the gold winner was a Canadian as well. And I completely ignored Max, Max pero, I think, I think he meddled last one to Danny Mac's there, but yeah, around, I don't know. Yes. So there's a lot of kinds of connection there, see the grandson of Ross Perot, I have no idea. I don't know that's a joke or maybe. Has it been many moons ago or former that former Maple Leaf, unique /? Oh yeah, its common knowledge. Matt come on anyway, or sorry. Victor. Before we move on to tan you often hear, do you have any updates for you on your dad? No, still the same. Yeah, we're still waiting for improvement, but he's not getting worse, so there's that. Okay. Yeah, well we're thinking about you 10. How's your week? Kids are back to school this week. They went back to in class learning so that was a big change for the household again. So far, so good knock on wood. So I decided to put the news on because I kind of live under a rock when the kids are around and I don't really pay attention too much what's going on the world, because I am so consumed with school and everything else going on. So I turned the radio on and then promptly turned it back off again because I thought, well, I am quite content living underneath my rock, because it's a whole lot of whole, lot of, whole lot of stuff going on out there in the world right now. So, you know, yeah. So that's pretty much consumed. My whole week was just like. Yeah, yeah. That was it. Not much else. That's it. Matt, how's your week, man? Where to start. So first we Almost ended. Well I would say almost. But we're smart. We found ourselves in the middle of a cottage rental scam. So that one is yeah. I was actually I gotta hand it to them. I am pretty paranoid on the internet. Yeah, I was gonna say you're Mr. You yeah, which is why I say like we're close but not really like these people that they had us. Go for a minute, you know we been always trying to find us a place through the summer and put an ad up saying we're looking for a place. Someone reached out which is also never a good start. And they provided all this information which we found on a site that was renting them from the site that also include all these fees. Right. So they made it sort of like if you rent directly through US you will save yourselves all these fees. Yeah. It copied and pasted everything verbatim from the site had all this information. It sounded pretty good until where they caught in. This is my own experience, they said, well yeah, just eat transfer us half now and, and you're good. And then I said, well, hold on, and then they made a comment about yeah. He transfers totally protected so interact. As a things of you send it, you can definitely get it back. If something went wrong. I am like, nope. Nope, that's right. I know that industry quite well. Exactly. Yeah, not happening. So they shot them and then I try to continue to convince us. But anyways, that was fun. And then today was kind of mess, I will try to paint the picture here with. I don't know what to talk about. So I know I have mentioned for, I am in a previous relationship, we split a number of years ago, I have Kids with my axe. All this Jazz, not a great relationship there with the ex anyways, things in peaceful the last a while. And then today, I had to take my older, my middle son story to do a sedated MRI. He had an MRI previously, but he couldn't sit still. So we had to put him under, which is never fun. It's always kind of scary and that situation. I offered to do it, it accounted for four hours of driving for me today, but I didn't care. It's my son. I am going to take him and get it done. Yeah. And then when we arranged all this, Last week, she had made a comment saying, oh, that day, that you take Reese, I am going to take our oldest son out of school and hang out with him for the day. I am like, well no, that's, and I was very clear. I am like, that's not okay. He needs to be in school, you can't just pull them for a day to hang out with them. And then she completely ignored me. And then of course, today, mid day without even telling me, I find out that she had taken him out. And I only discovered it through a voice note that she sent me with something else I heard him in the background. And I am like wait did you not take rather to school? And she just basically said, okay, captain and ignored me and then through some bitter. Bad banter basic called me a narcissist and all them. Like, are you f****** kidding me? Like and just to be clear that we have and it might be equal different things that we have joint custody of these kids and from in a Canadian Ontario specific standpoint that means equal decisions on education religion, Healthcare stuff like that. So School is number one of those is one of those things, and I was Very clear, I am not okay with him coming to school. She went against it and of course, it became a big battle, and now, we're back to ground zero on our status, but it was a very stressful day and just some real nonsense. So it was it wasn't so much fun. And then in the meantime deal with my son, who's under anesthetic while getting some of this mess, and I am like, you f****** kidding me. This is not the time to deal with this s*** so I don't know. It was a, it was not a fun day, but he's okay, he's out. Everything's fine. I got him home. Mm. That was fine. It will go on. Then we got to hang up McHenry. So that was f****** Wicked. So yeah, I mean the day has bounced back but it definitely was. There were some stressful f****** moments today and so yeah, it is what it is. Okay. All right, I am going to start with the light stuff on my week. Let us see finished, Reacher and loved. It was a lot of fun. Enjoy the hell out of it, Alan ritchson was amazing and actually the whole cast really fun. So if you're looking for kind of mine, This action / sip. It's a bit suspenseful, but lots of like fighting and stuff. It's a really, really fun show to watch. So, Reacher and tangy. And I have been watching murder evil and now on their own. There's a lot of fun. If you haven't heard the premise for that, it's basically an improv whodunit murder show. So it's I forget, I forget the guys name, he's he plays job or job and Arrested Development. What's The guy's name Arnett Will Arnett. Is it Lego Batman? Yeah, Lego Batman. One of the best movies, like Lego, Batman axle, so good, watch that on reap. So problem it's a scripted show with the murder mystery element to it except one person in the cast was every week, There's a door every episode, there's a different guest that person does not have a script, so they are reacting to everything happening around them. And they're, so they're the premise of the show is he's a homicide detective, and he gets a new partner every episode and every weapon a pyre celebrity partner, so they had Sharon Stone on, they had and Murphy on any Murphy on from s**** Creek. They had a guy who plays Chang on community on, and they, the actors themselves don't have a script, and they, and they don't know what's going on, so they're reacting to everything as it's happening. So, let us It's called, it's called Murder Ville. It's on Netflix. It's f****** hilarious. So. Okay, so you can have three suspects, and then they have to by asking the questions but being distracted the whole time, and they play all sorts of improv things where they have to. Like it's a lot of fun. It's a lot of fun, and then they have got to guess who the murderer and in the end you also get to guess, right? Because they give the clues. They have three suspects of the it's like a game show / improv. It's like a murder mystery party. Yeah, yeah. Well done, very creative concept. So we're enjoying that. I think we watch the last episode yet. I think, I don't think so. No, we still have one more. Then we have one last episode, but they have had like, Sharon, Stone 660. They had the football player. I forget his name, he was hilarious in it. Anyway, check it out. It's highly recommended. They're only half, and they use their real names. Sharon Stone is Sharon Stone in the show. Yeah, it's a lot of fun and it's just best when they start cracking up, right? Because they can't, you know What they're being asked to do is ridiculous, and they just laugh and the conduct cadavers, they're real. Yeah. Divers are actors were trying to sit there still, but then the detectives are like, playing with their nipples and stuff from the cadavers can't help but react, it's hilarious. It's very funny. So, anyways, this is a the rest of the week. I have been really busy with work, but also I have also been in a foul mood, just with all the s*** going on right now here in this country. And I don't want to go into it, but it's just put me in a really bad mood. And today was one of the worst days. In terms of that. Plus, I was busy with work, and then we had to podcasts record today. So, thank heavens for that because McHenry was amazing. Oh my God, so much fun. And that was the highlight so far my day and hopefully this absolutely. This is another highlight no pressure there. Jake for those that haven't done. So go look oh and seek out some of his YouTube videos of his youth. Oh yeah we haven't said, who were talking about? So brutally funny. Yeah Jeff McHenry so he plays Alexander on Letterkenny. And yeah, he was great, and he was so giving of his time. But also amazingly we had him scheduled for 5:00 this afternoon and unfortunately Matt was running late and Victor had to bow out, so it's just hanging. I am like, oh s***. But Matt really, what? He's like I am going to rush home and try to make it in time. So I text her, I deemed Jeff and I said by any chance, can we push this out half an hour and to his credit? He's like yeah no problem. When yeah, let us do it. So he was like ready to go. He waited half an hour and then when we got him on and ask him, how long do we have with you? He's like, well, I listened to your episode last week and you guys were like two hours. I am like that, and he's like, I don't think I can give you two hours. I am like, okay, well we're not asking for to, we got a one amazing hour with him and it was great. So kudos to Jeff, and we can't thank him enough for being on and for being flexible. Because not many of our not many people would be that flexible. So I am Victor, we made sure that we inserted Your name when he was talking about the skit with the toilets. Oh, yeah. And how gorgeous you died. Laughing on that one? Oh, yeah. And a little have to watch it on. Repeat. Yeah. Sorry. I will mention that. Yeah. Jake. How's your week? So all in all my week's been pretty uneventful being at school. So like schooling's Olney. Like I have been doing that for the past few weeks my first time doing the apprenticeship. So other than that, like, I have been hanging out my dorm room all week and only going out to school one, because I have a couple actual shop classes. I got to do. So one of the days I have to go to school. That's pretty much back and forth. That's my entire week. The I go home on weekends so that it's usually pretty fun because Drivin you no 401 to 400 on Friday night. Yeah, times lie. Definitely interesting. So usually just get fed up and take the for 007's is that, that was, that's been an absolute mess every single time I go to take it. Yeah. For, for those that don't understand yet, he has to pay for that. Yeah, the 407 is Sovereign, Spanish property, so it's true. Still, so odd that's Spanish. It's a highway A Toll Highway in, Ontario. That is owned by a Spanish company. And so, Everyone's going to look that up. Yeah. How does that happen? We don't know. Definitely not sure how I am going to live up to your last interview we did today, so it's not even like I am with something happened last week, it's been a couple hours. It's okay. I mean it was he's a pro like he's just a pro, and I am loving it. I just I wish like you know every season we had at least two episodes with him. Doing the cold open, I know, right? Yeah. You want a good cold up and you gotta call Alexander? Is that everything? Dad for now. Absolutely. My number one cold, open like hands down. This one goes right to the top of the list. He was like I just I loved all the banter. All just every single moment. My favorite was, you remember how I said that? He's a grump, and she's a twat, the numbers reflect that. Like that was the best line. But it was like all the little reaction Like Wayne's reaction when they when he reference that I was Chapman's Ice Cream. Like he you know, he got excited about that. He was like, oh yeah, Chapman's that's a good. That's a good brand. I just I loved absolutely. Every minute of the banter back and forth and yeah, the best Matt. Yeah, yeah. It was, I agree. I mean, this is I don't, I don't miss my number one, but it's certainly up there. And what I loved about this opening, Is I think the if you just took the dialogue as it is and just say not to say, we're not fun if you and I just read that or all of us is ready. I don't think it would come across. That it's the delivery on this. No, I just a country it would be just a conversation jackley. But the delivery on this and Jeff McHenry is delivery of Alexander is so fantastic that you just fall into their world. And yeah, it just made it just takes it to a whole other level. Like Such a simple conversation. There was definitely some real highlights. I mean, the whole like the raffle and then I will and I will wash your truck. Like yeah, killed me. The fact that and this just shows their area and, and where they are compared to City Life when he's like, so fixated on $25. Being an expensive steak dinner. I am like, are you f****** kidding me? Like, you're like, if you want a decent steak dinner, you're starting at 50 usually. Yeah. Like for a decent one. So the love that he was so fixated on like oh you better get there. It's actually a pretty good time. They will all get hammered the skids and hockey players, agree, and join the Hicks. In the back of the truck, they drive to the farmer Rosie, awaits them with beers, and they all go happily picking Stones final scene. And on the side of the highway just eight clicks outside of downtown Sudbury, a short leash shirtless Shore Z is standing there inexplicably shirtless he announces to No One In general. Let us get some f****** Sushi, Mackay. And then turns, as he spits in the cup, and we get a very, very brief profile of his face before reflate before we Fade to Black, and we Fade to Black, All right, that's it. That is season 10. That's the show. We start with Victor. So, I think this might be the most camera time or front of camera that we had for Connor and Darien, which was pretty cool. I am like spoke again. But yeah, they spoke. And I mean, they were pretty prominent at that train scene, but, you know, they were like, kind of actors, right? And this one, I just kind of felt bad for them at the end because they were, you know, they were left out of the, the stone relegated to look at after the bikes, you know, going in. You know, picking Stone. So it's a beer. Yeah, so anyway, so that I don't know, like this was for me solid from beginning to end. There's so much good. There's just so much, good lady. See that opening scene was really long like that. That dance routine. Most whose dance routines were full like song? Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Well like and the second one had, you know Rawls like showing his moves like as well as yeah, it was that Was pretty easy. Probably have to practice awhile to get that routine. He's always been with the best skid dance. Yeah, he's always had the chops. No, no. But I think like he really brought it like this was probably one of probably the most impressive dancing. He's done so far. But yeah, no. She definitely stole the show and it was really long, and I was totally fine with it. Yeah. Because yeah it was great. Yes, captivating. She was great on. The music was good. So it's so it was just, I don't know like There's like a real vibe to the episode. You know, is there're the stories. There's the Tino kind of the two main stories but there's also kind of this really cool Vibe throughout the episode and I really like that and then you know, at the end we get to Seashore Z and I feel like that was a little bit of redemption for, you know, you know we got to see half of his face. There's something exactly, and I am sure everybody paused on that frame. Yeah. To get to inspect it really carefully. I know I did. Yeah, I should have done that. I should have made a gif of just that kind of shot. Yeah. I know. I just, I was going to do it you and I figured I am sure it's already done, I am sure. I don't. Yeah, I haven't seen it. But yeah, I mean, I am surprised if it hasn't been. Yeah. Anyway, so it was really cool. I will, you know, remove more layers as we discuss, but it was really, really great. Yeah. Okay. Dad, would you think it was a great episode? I, it's so funny. They have these other names for themselves that they just killed themselves laughing on and it carried it through the whole thing. Al and I have we have other names for ourselves to that was given to us by supposed to tell people my other people do you remember Alex? Yeah this acquaintance who kept on calling us, Tami and Alan. Six and we didn't have the heart to correct them and it's been 20 years. He's not a friend. He's just every once in a while. We run into his. Okay, Tammy. And I said, look, I, uh, never mind. Hey, could have been an Alvin? Yeah, yeah, we have always been Tammy and Alex and it's just, it's comical at this point because yeah, it's just been so many years that yeah, there's just no correcting it. Now, it's so There is like this like weird space social scene where you hit a point where something's gotten wrong, you just live with that becomes the reality. It's all somebody breaks that fourth wall. It's like well we have come to D we and you're probably in there're chances like I know I have actually had people who I know and speak to on the regular who I never knew their name, we missed the whole introduction period. We're both thinking it because they don't know my name, I don't know. But I talked to them on a regular and it just goes on and on, and we say, hey, what's up? Hey man, how are you? Yeah. Good. I guess there's no real name in past but you're both in it at that point. I have come to the conclusion that I don't say my name, right? Because all through my business career, I have like left messages and people will call me back and I have been known as like five different types of like Penny and Tammy and Tamara. I don't even know where Tamara comes from. But anyways, I get all of these other names other than mine and I wherever I tell them if somebody's looking for these five people, they're all me because apparently that's what people come up with. That's who they think I am. So anyways and it's just comical. I love how everybody got a name and that they drove around town. Giving people their names and it was just, it was, it was super funny. I thought it was cute and I loved it was the perfect. It was the perfect amount of drunkenness. For, you know, Wayne and squirrely, Dan, and dairy. Like they weren't falling over themselves. They were just out for a good time. Going through town, trying to find people to bend over for them as Wayne put it. Oh my God, that killed me when he said you know asking people to bend over oh my god there was a lot in this episode The mcmurray's you know again this is the season 10. It's the finale. So that's kind of when they pull everybody back into the scenes and I loved how they did it. This round it wasn't. You know at the mo Dean's it wasn't you know that somebody's at the farm. It was driving around town seeing people in their natural habitats if you will. Yeah, lady. See. Fascinating absolutely. Just like, Victor was saying, mesmerizing to watch her eye. Didn't know where they were going to go there when Katie was kind of mesmerized by her. I am like, oh, is this gonna be a new love interest in Katie, though? Well, the fact that they didn't let ladies see, say anything tells me, she's just there to dance. That's all she's there to do not to act or anything like that, which causes, but it could lead somewhere else because the girls Ali and Bianca took her. Yeah. And I don't know, I will be surprised to be a storyline. I will be surprised because the letter can he's not afraid to put Bad actors. On the show like what's-her-name? What are those twins? That are rallying Jonesy were Wheeling last season Cassie and Cassie has seen Cassie. Gotta say, not great actors. But you know what? Letterkenny put them on. So I think that's that tells me that a lady sees, just there for those to dance routines and maybe I don't know, maybe for some Tick, Tock Flair, may be there may be lettered. Kenny's trying to get some Tick, Tock credit. And, and this is their way to do it. Yeah. When I just wanted to put Riley and Jonesy under my wing and protect them like theirs. They're so like, oh my gosh, you know, location. And it's like, guys, you're just there. So and while a lien and Bianca was talking to them, and they're like, I don't know what that is, but I am in like, they don't know things, okay? They're probably having Bianca's percentage of around Jonesy's business, probably like 80, Percent. Yeah. 90% Muslim Pat them on the head and yeah. Okay, you have nice butts. I love, you know, there were so many. And I am going to wrap my mind up here, but there were so many references to the last episode. And I, and they have done this before where they're closing it the season, and they don't usually call back like, they call back a little bit, but not to the same kind of story line. And they did with this like coach. The gym him referencing again that you know, he's there more than the owner, and he was like, that's that was a continuation of her home to prostate. It was like to it was for sure and or not prostate Vox, sorry this is part two to vid block. Yeah, it they really did carry similar story lines and flashback to them and yeah, it's they don't do it very often through the whole season, but they do it. It seems the last You they have done it at the end said doodoo. Okay, dude, there you go. I will end on the du mat, so I will start with the topics manage Two Times, a Lady. See, here's my take, I very talented. I mean, I love what she was doing that girl can, but like, it's unreal, what she can do in the context of the show. I didn't, I didn't appreciate the first routine, not because of what she was doing II. Think it went way too long. I especially with like, very little blue spatula. They knew it was coming, but hold on, hold on a second. You know, I listen, I am a big fan of dancer. I have watched a lot of I love when people can do, it's f****** unreal. I didn't understand because it felt very out of context. We just came into the episode, they had her opening scene, whatever, and then bam, and then this girl, we have never met dances for three minutes or whatever. It was, and that's it. And then, yes, they're in a Connor, the background on the bikes that I was, I was watching them just as much as I love him, but I didn't understand what she was doing there. And again, this she doesn't speak. Eek They Don't Really introduce till halfway or eight or more near the end. Yeah. It was near the end and really not even caught as a. Why she's there other than maybe to help them win vid vog or get better. I don't know, but at the same time I loved the her enrolled dance. So what I would have preferred is a shorter first dance with just her to say, okay, he's she's here and then when those two winds extend that one because she can still bring Castor skills and show it off and I loved it. But I love seeing them her interacting with role because we know rolled, he's there show. He's our golden boy would love them. I wanted to see more of that. I would have loved to have seen that extended and the first one shortened because the second one felt shorter which I think it was. Yeah, I mean comparison so, I mean, it was great, it just told her he had a context, especially in something, a finale to throw something in like that, which was fun to watch. It didn't really do much for a story perspective, but I was supposed to Set the mood and the vibe at face like washing and it did that for sure. Do love you guys sleepover with the montages? That's a nice and kind of referencing. Something you didn't even like phone, but he's him in church is making a good point, though. It is, it was totally a mood Setter, for sure. Yeah. I just tailed it went on quite like, longer than I would have liked in that setting, that said, the, the what I did love what this whole episode and why it was so successful. Right from the cold open. The end was Every delivery, this every scene and location. Then delivery, everyone was on their game tonight. As in this episode, I think from the Hicks, their, their drunken nonsense was some of my I think it might have been my favorite banter of any episode. And I am not even talking, just the dialogue, there's been better. From a scripting standpoint but their delivery and exactly what was so tight and so fun, they didn't miss a beat like the bouncing back. Gary bird comes cities with an update, like it was like they didn't miss a single beat went through. The whole thing was struggling with met somet. Do something later. I forget what it was. That was hilarious. That was so yeah, any and even right down to the body when she walks out there, go Conoco, and then she's like Katie, why are they calling me Connie like everything? Just fits so well and it flowed. I just wanted it to keep going and then right down to the very end, and they all almost. It almost felt like an Avengers Assemble kind of thing when they all hop out of the truck at the end, they're walking on the field. He throws Rose. You always throw the over. I love that. There's nothing. Just love that but it was such. No. I mean, all in again, I am nitpicking at the lady see thing, just because I loved so everything else about the episode so much, I wanted more time. I am with the characters. It was just a blast. I think they just did a phenomenal job of carrying this episode and yeah Connor and Darius poke the hockey players. The but hard thing is it still makes me laugh and makes me laugh but Smith I love. But yeah, but Smith is great. That was so good. I say the only other that I would say I would comment was the alley Bianca. I am not a big fan of them and maybe we're not supposed to be Their banter is alright and now not that? It's a great what they're saying, it's all for but I don't necessarily I am not connecting to them as characters very much. They have got pretty good timing though with their there grunts or whatever that you want to like they have got that down. Yeah, but yeah, no sorry — yeah, that's okay. Yeah. I mean that's I mean like I said it's there's not a whole lot Beyond to give us such as just a fun episode. I hi, I am happy with the way the ended. I mean, we got our big fish. Reveal ish at the end and that's a cliffhanger, but we kind of already knew it was there, so I actually would have preferred that and something else. But I mean it's because we already are so close to this show and everything. We are new. So if you didn't know that shows he had been shot already, or was coming Mo? Okay, where is he going? But we already know. So the Cliffhangers kind of gone. Yeah, it was great and I can't think of another show where the Cliffhanger is actually Cliffhangers to set up. The spin-off. It's not even to set up the next season. It's a set off a spinoff. No they did that. In three is company Three's a Crowd. Well, I mean, you know, I remember spin-offs but for them for shoulder waste, its Cliff Hank. So I mean, okay, I will get to that. Now the there's no Cliffhanger in this episode. No Cliffhanger for a Letterkenny anyway like there's nothing that's making me go all I can't wait for season 11 letter Canada. See what happens next. Now this is I can't wait until short easy to see that right? Which Is fine. It's just kind of weird that they you're right. Like I agree with you Matt. That's great that they showed that they did the shorter Z kind of half reveal but there was no Letterkenny Cliffhanger, none at all. And I would argue in this entire episode, nothing much happens in terms of story at all. It was so. So it's my turn now. So I am going to say this when we interviewed a billy Pudge tree here, You know, he told us that there's this, season's going to look very different and this episode is very f****** different from all the others this season has. There's been a few shots here and there were like okay that's interesting shot or whatever. But for the most part season tens been. I mean maybe looks nicer or whatever better color or whatever because better camera but this episode specifically has a very, very different feel to it. And they do some very different things that they I have never done before, so we will start cold. Open amazing. I read you guys. One of my favorites. I loved it and yes, more, Alexander, please the dancing. They have I mean they have had musical Montage before but that's usually you know the stories happening during those montages know this, this here, the dancing was on purpose because we want to do. They want to show off, lady sees, dancing moves. Now, I was on her Graham, and she said, oh, I am on Letterkenny, and they gave me two full routines, she actually calls that out. So I am wondering if it was part of the deal to have her on or something. Who knows, right? Because she's got like, I forget how many thousands of followers on Instagram. So maybe they're like, Well, we'd like to have her on because we want Tick Tock cred and Instagram cred, and she gets to be on the show, and we will give her two routines, whatever, who knows? Like, it feels like there's like a, it felt like a quid pro quo there because you're right, Matt, there's no Muhtar Kent, he's never done this before, and they did it twice in one episode two, full denture teens. Now the first I love them both, and so I am with Victor they set a good mood and whatever there were enjoyable if they were long and, and tedious fine. But they weren't there amazing. She's an amazing dancer. It was part of the story. It wasn't just like, you know, it was, it was leading up to them dropping Riley and Jonesy and, and riding her coattails. Yeah, I mean, it was part of a story. It was. But, I mean, Didn't have to do full songs anyway, but it's, but I am not complaining about it. I think it was great. It just, it was so different from anything. What people used to come to the, your shows? Did he say? You don't have to do the whole song, you know, just enjoy it for what it is. Thanks for the shot when they get to the mcmurray's of the back of the truck, it's very low. And there's lots of not Sky because it's all trees behind them. But all you see is the truck. Yeah, and heads. And then the rest of the screen is empty. It was a weird looking shot. Like they were in a hot tub. Yeah. Like it was just a lot, you didn't see, but it was very different looking shot. The shot of them driving beside coach and Tyson, and then they're popping their heads out, the back and making their jokes again. Very, very different from anything we have ever seen in Letterkenny. It's all great stuff I loved it all but it's just I am just I mean every time I saw something like that and made note of it and Monitor to call it out. But yeah, in terms of story, not a lot happened as so, for a season finale, not allow is Victor. I am actually surprised because you normally, you don't like them acting drunk, and they acted very drunkenness. Wasn't it wasn't, it wasn't an issue because they weren't being idiots. Yeah, they were just in there were having fun. Say it was good and it was really, really good conversation. It was smart and a clever, you don't know. You don't generally see clever and Drunk at the same time so, so I mean, sorry, as mad as pouring more oil into this class. Yeah, no, I am not. That Katie was a designated driver. So yes, I just, I just hear this episode is brought to you by Crown Royal. I am I was just like watching this. I am like, oh, Victor's. Not gonna like this episode at all because of the, the drunken Shenanigans, but it was fun. I can have a good time with the best of them, you know, it's just that, it all I am saying is A tomfoolery. Yeah, you know, leave, it's there to Old. They're told to be that stupid drunk guy at the party anymore. You know what I mean? So just but this was all in good fun. The scene with Ali and Bianca and the hockey players in the Jeep. Again, some very different angles during that scene that you don't. We haven't seen before static any Riley and Jonesy's jeep. That Bianca and Ali were driving possibly who knows? Like they seem to like letting people walk all over them. Um, so yeah again, so just some different angles, they're different use of the silence kids. They weren't sounding this one. They actually said, you know, they said Stewart's but whatever a lot of fun overall fun episode just not a lot happened and there was no Cliffhanger. There was no Cliffhanger at all, so just kind of weird season finale. I don't know. It was just well. Second find it weird. I thought it was use different. No, it was different. It was very different. And enjoyable, Heist, they sacrificed their own hangar for sure Z. It's all right. You know, you take one for the team. Like it's just, it's all good. No, it's great and bringing Shore Z back in. So, remember I was saying, see the future Shores. He would come in and give the keys to rally and Jonesy to their moms house before leaving as kind of one last. F*** you, that didn't happen. But what I think what happened there was a short as he helping them out with the vid vaak, the but art video was kind of his, you know, No. Okay, I will throw you guys a bone or a bit and, and that's it. It's going to say, I didn't see a bone to bone, a lot of fun, and the definitely out that the, to dance the routine set of mood. That was energetic. But just a very different mood from other Letterkenny episodes Jake. Yeah, you know those scenes were very intentional camera, angles, like, but the truck and then pop in their heads upside? Yeah, it's probably one of my favorite. Yeah, it's of lettered. They have all these like, against the norm shots that they Oh, oh, Jake. We have lost your weight, Jake. Hold on. Yeah, I am not going 10 seasons and I still sometimes go away which ones, which, hey, it's like, I think that mentality is being there trying to fix that like, no, no. These are people you need to recognize, which is which we haven't really gone into detail about Shores. He's showing the side face. There was no facial hair that I saw. I know I was expecting. I thought there was well Tierney's is said he had to grow a mustache for something. So didn't really see anything. If he's going to look just like Wayne then they're going to have to like do some sort of thing where you know when they sent that he sent his DNA out that they're like twin brothers. Yeah. Maybe they're playing with like a facial prosthetic or something. Well yeah maybe a higher brow or something or maybe they just didn't want to show the full face in this because Wayne and Shores are in the same show, but when it's just a sort shortage of a show and there is no Wayne, then they will be like, Look, this is towards the end, and he got to suspend disbelief. And, yeah. All right, you know, like, I don't want to suspend disbelief, I want someone who I want to see a new guy. Poor Bonnie couldn't go with the guys. Yeah. Well, both Bonnie and McMurray wanted to get out of the yard film, pigsty, Nick Murphy Connie, make money, make money makes Murphy. Yeah, it's getting GE and drunker every time we see. Oh Mrs. MacMurray. Yeah, sure harder and harder to understand what the heck she's saying. Oh man. It was fun. All right, so, what's going on? How many takes I took though for like especially assures you their hand standing in as the wall. And a kiss is a bit of a show-off. A like every chance he gets right. There's still changed. The only thing I was surprised by and it was fine. It still worked was the moving truck scene with Tyson and Coach, the, the camera whoever was on camera is clearly handheld. Almost all day were standing on front of whatever was in front of that, right? Because it was, it was quite White like, moving around, I don't mind that look, but I would have felt like something that would have, they would have tried to more static approach to in the end the sound wasn't great either. Like I was going to say, how do you get the sound with a moving? You have two Clues Paul and then kind of, yeah, calling out around the truck. Jake, how's it going? Can you hear us? Like I said about the camera shots being very like intentional, definitely least in my opinion, adding to the humor of everything. Yeah. The one thing that I did notice was Is that Adidas was everywhere? Like with all the solids? Yes. All the track suits and everything. Yeah, shoes is all very clearly decide. Oh, I might notice that more because I used to work for that company, right? But your that's where you worked at that cooks down. I was like, yeah, rolled was covered in Adidas. Those yeah, it was covered in Italy. We see was. Yeah, Letterkenny selling out first with the all the Adidas and with Lady C given her. Full dance routines. And now they said, jaqen, is a corporate spy to make sure we know Jake is that an Adidas shirt? You're wearing their clothes are in the closet. The Safety Dance that they should. I love that. Yeah, I love that. Gotta say like drunk Hicks. Victor might not appreciate them. I finally like, they can be obnoxious. But oh, how fun? No. No. While you were starting our salt out, I made a point to say that it worked in this episode. Oh yeah, they were. Yeah, green lights, green lights all the way. For evenly with the McMurphy's, and they're like, oh we gotta sell all the attic basement Farm stuff. Yeah, this is good stuff but you know what, even the closed captions on crave. Anyway, are horrible for this season and any anytime Mrs. MacMurray says anything, they don't care. They don't capture it at all. Yeah, I did. Notice this episode reminded me very similar to the season finale of last season, how like the skids always had their one likes. I hope last season. It was, you learn how to drive? Oh right, right? Exactly. Always charming will learn how to drive. Yeah. And then this season, it was Sundays been picking Stones. Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny. That's just the first thing I noticed when I originally watch this stuff, right? He's mm-hmm. Or how like, very on cute for the skids. One rolled starts to his dance. He comes in many trips to those trip, and then, for the rest of the routine, he had this horrified look on his face or something. Like it was, it was great because he fell. And then lady, see, come jumping through. Yes. And then he just kept going. I was wondering that I wanted to almost re-watch it because I was like, did he trip or what? Is that part of the move? While he tripped? Every watch that. And I thought that I thought it was choreographed Waimea, maybe it was, but I think the trip because lady sees seems to encourage him to get back up and keep going, right? But yeah, it was, it was an interesting move to have that happening right off the bat, when he first comes in, because he's coming in striding and looking all (confident) than boom falls on his face, and gets up and finishes a routine over the cardboard. What I didn't understand was the first, yet the first routine. It looks like. I mean everyone's watching her. Then Stewart explains that our plot to increase their vid vaak read by having this person teaching dance. But after the second routine, Stewart asks who she is. So, how does he not know? And everyone else asks hurt us too. But like, but Steward should know she is. But he's the first one to ask which was kind of weird that they introduced her as lady. See. No only after the second routine does. No does rolled Salon is that right? I mean I know you're saying but you think back to the first scene Stewart showed up to observe her along with Katie? Okay, yeah. Right. So she was already there with the other skids but the what while Area in Connery riding on a bike sand and whatever and the others showed up, and she was already doing her thing. Sure. So that's something. I maybe he didn't know, they just watch her and then a plus, I mean, Stewart is a PSA for this is your brain on drugs. So Jake did you have any other points? I just thought it's funny. How they went through. All that effort for, if it involves anything like Tick-Tock, we go through all this effort for minute long videos, right? Yeah, which I am sure you know a lot of people that are content creators on Tick-Tock whatnot. They do go through all that effort. But how does funny small-town skids going through whilst doing a professional? Yeah, he was just doing that to get Ali and Bianca back. That's what he was doing. Yeah, very good. Have no idea that it's shot. And So I get a little it's in the can, but it's my guess it will be June maybe like in the past or July. I think, in the past they have dropped seasons on Canada day because that's kisos birthday. So, my guess is it will either be July or it will be kind of like, hopefully don't they don't wait until next December to do it, so, we will see. Maybe it was the big question or are they kind of drop both at the same time? No, they wanted they I hope. I think they'd be smarter than that. I think to stretch it out. Shouts build especially for oh no, that's called cannibalism. Yeah, yeah. They don't want to cannibalize, maybe they will go ashore Z for his birthday. It was a crack, an egg episode. That one in the American Buchan, do you like going? I do the intro. Yeah the cold openings Katie's wrap them back and forth in the restaurant but it's definitely wasn't enough to crack top five, very good. Yeah, all right, well that's a solid top five. Let us move on to MVPs. Victor. Who do you give the MVP to Alexander the Great? Yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Like I said, I think very underrated and You know, his cold opens are very impactful and this cold open was a setup for the entire episode. So I feel like and it was just so solid, it's like easily one of the best called opens of this of the series, you know, and act like Matt said it's just the regular conversation that he was able to elevate. Yes. Absolutely. But whether it's acting and timing and everything else, and he mentioned that but the script if you just It looked at the dialogue on the script. It doesn't seem wouldn't seem that funny. It seems kind of innate. I would like a name like yeah, what are they talking about? Was brilliant. It was a delivery was Berlin to timing was brilliant, and he's also just a brilliant comedian outside of this. So I feel like, well let us get, let us get more of him if we have access to him let us use a more. Yeah for sure. Wow. All right, 10. Yeah, it was, it was a great episode but absolutely the cold open made me laugh. From beginning to end of it, it's got to be Alexander like all the way he totally stole it, even though he wasn't, he wasn't pulled through to the rest of the show. It was definitely him. Little bit of a recency bias here since we just had them on the podcast it was such a coincidence as yeah. Big coincidence Matt. I like I said on many occasions before when I first my first introduction to Letterkenny I thought this was going to be a hockey show and it ended up not being a hockey show. And now I am getting my You show. So I am really looking forward to it. You know what this is, there's this, there's this other show that I was watching for. I think it's called bangers. It's a hockey it's show and if I don't think it has a very good IMDb rating, it's like an 6 something whatever, but I loved it, I don't care because it's about hockey. All right. You know. It's like you know, people the latest season of Snowpiercer is garbage but it's the only show about trains. So I am going to keep watching but So, you know what I mean? Like it's yeah, all right, Dan, what are you looking forward to? You know, they have kind of Letterkenny has kind of pulled away a little bit from the hockey. Like we they were very hockey predominant in the first few seasons. It was, it was very much, always the locker room, and they kept on hitting it time after time, pulling in different kind of like, okay, there's a girl lie. Again then, okay, there's this and, you know, they kept on trying to pull our attention into hockey. So yeah. With Shores the leaving I am wondering, now, does Letterkenny kind of pull away from that completely? Well, I want you to be Riley Jonesy, but they kind of are into The Tick-Tock. Like, they're not even very much with the hockey tables out too, because they're now just in beer leagues, and they were in Bear leaks. Coach. Coaches in the gym like it just feels like a whole lot of pulling away from hockey. Now, with the Letterkenny crew, I am wondering to if the shore Z if they're going to pull in who they had in the Letterkenny. So like Marion and Betty and like they were super strong and really powerful actresses, and I am wondering if they're going to pull this. I am somehow into the shore Z because they were super strong. They were really there were fan favorite soup. Yeah, so that, you know, that kind of explodes a little bit faster maybe because again Shore Z were kind of unsure as to where that's going to go. But Ruiz says, those Shores is going to be very different kind of tonally from Letterkenny. So I am not I will be interesting to see what he Means by that says, it will be funny but not the same kind of funny as Letterkenny. So it will be interesting as sure as he was always known for the, the Julia chirping and, you know, riding Riley and Jonesy's mothers and just like squawking at them and everything. So it's going to be an interesting. It's going to be interesting to see how what they do with that, and then what they do with the hockey league? Will Tanis somehow go to shore? Z PSI, tennis still owns the Eagles, right? So there might still be, you know opportunity there for hockey to. Yeah you kind of Wonder you kind of got a wonder if there's going to be a tie in there somewhere because you know her in the last episode she was like okay yeah my boy is going up north or whatever. So yeah you kind of got to wonder what the tie-ins going to be between the two or if they're not going to reference each other anymore after that. This. Yeah, yeah interesting. Matt what do you want it really looking forward to? Yeah I mean I will touch on Shore Z just really quickly, I think I, so I am excited to see what the new tone or style is that they do. I mean I am hoping they flip up these even the approach of the scripting, try something new, see if it works, I hope it does. I have every confidence it will is I am thinking that from a story perspective from Shore, Z is what I am thinking might happen is we're going to get a similar taste to like what? Riley and Jonesy, got back in like, what? Season two when they joined the seniors, and they came out strong and it didn't get received very well. So Shores is going to take its Shores, the attitude Sudbury and get it. And it's gonna and it's going to fall flat really hard. And it's like a taste of his own medicine sort of thing in return, and he's going to find himself or something through he still going to be short as he. But, yeah, I am feeling there's like that kind of story coming at us. As he develops his himself into this new place but yeah. And won't, nobody be a heel or a baby face. Hmm. I think I will be a Healer, and he will be an auntie here or something. I think the slashing is going to follow him. Yeah, I am sure it will. I don't think, I don't think you're supposed to like him at the beginning. I think it's probably going to be one of those Redemption kind of shows. Well, that's what I am yeah. He's gonna, he's gonna find his way somehow to right, and then they're gonna be an epic return to Letterkenny and season 13 or more interesting. Be no Redemption. He will just be a heel all the time and the characters around him are going to be reacting to that. Maybe who knows kids? Yeah, but that's it. All right, I mean, you guys, talk Shores, e to death. So let me I will talk just back to Letterkenny. I mean, I am hoping and season 11 we get, you know, some renewed stories, some new storylines more Alexander. We're always talked about more Glenn and I hear that there is more Glenn in season 11. So, I am any more dicks. That's an interesting question, because, yeah, in the last Astra's it three straight Seasons. Now, we each season has had at least, at least one, at least one dick episode in it. I am wondering if the dick Trilogy was that was the end? I don't know. Yeah, that might be one big too many. Yeah. So, you know, I would love to see Dairy and Bonnie, make a go of it and more Gail and dickon. So, I mean, the usual stuff, right? And maybe some introduction of new characters or maybe they could Bring the doctor back for an epic because he was funny. It was so it'd be great to see the doctor come back. Yeah, I would have mined fingertips. Come back by the Eric's. Yeah, I mean, why not? He's a great heel so, and we have lost Shore Z. So now there's a lot of like likable people. I mean, the last may be non likable, person might be coach. So yeah. Maybe we need to have some more heels. Join the cast. So, the big question though, what are they going? What social media are they going to attack me? Next. Yeah they have done Facebook. They have done Tick-Tock they have done or even weibo, even Shark Tank, we both are going to take a shot at Reddit, that's the Chinese, okay? Okay. This is are going to be our Twitter poll, I think they're going to do like a Survivor thing. So it's like It's gotta be, it's kind of. No, It's gotta be. Like, or like big brother or something. It's gotta be like, don't even know what survivor is. No, they did. They did other reality ruler. It's gonna be like the It's gotta be something like a rich reality. I think the next issue they tackle or the next Trend, they tackle is going to be Bitcoin or bit currently cryptocurrency because holy f***, that's annoying. S*** right now. And I think, I think they could have a lot of fun with that. Oh, yeah. Yeah man. Yeah, it's 13 years. Our strategic 11 is going to be all about the blockchain. Yeah. Yeah. Do you think they will touch? Anything more with covid? I am sure. I mean when they shot and wrote the season 11, we were still deep into it. So they didn't really mention it, so, maybe. Well your theory on the whole 19 butter, tarts and three fell flat on its face anyway. Jake, what do you want to see? I am just hoping some longer episodes to get member binging season 10 and obviously, you know, they're only six episodes. Yeah. Early half-hour episodes. Building first episode will make 15 minutes after you took out all the, the previously and right? Everything else. Yeah, they are like another episode. Another holiday episode pretty nice, too. Yeah, those were all like pretty funny episode. Well, there's a rumor, they have, they not done, there's a bunch but there is a rumor that there is one coming up. We will come on Canada day, they're trying to be nice. They have no, they haven't done Canada. I am done New Year's Eve. They haven't done Rosh Hashanah. Yeah, they haven't done any of those but whatever, but I do I think there's going to be a holiday episode moment, but we will see. I can't say much more because I don't know anymore. Last week's, Twitter poll tanginess Twitter poll was, which is your favorite Victor MVP. And, so I am going to go in order of lowest to highest the blackout from this Up over episode. Got 8.3%, I thought, that'd get more in fourth place. The Unborn fetus at 12.5%. I thought I totally thought that would get more for some reason. Plaid, got 20.8%, I didn't, I mean, I put that in there because I needed a fourth, but I didn't think that would be as popular, but by Far and Away With 58.3%, The Runaway favorite or least favorite how it depends on how you want to look at it. Was the Goldfish runs away with it or swims away with it with fifty-eight point, three percent of the votes going to that this goldfish went into places in to Parts Unknown.
